I was in my late 20s when one day takeing a shower I noticed a lot of hair in the tub , looked at my hair in the mirror relized I was going thin on top , took the razor out and the next day I met the most attractive woman I had ever laid my eyes on , we have been together for 22 years now . All thank to my bald head ..
I started losing my hair back in high school. If you think balding is hard on self-esteem when you're in your thirties, imagine how it feels at 14. My advise is going to be nothing original, but if you have a bad case of hair loss, don't even waste a cent on medication, it won't help. Don't try surgery either, all the people I know who did end up bald anyway with scragly hair they must shave off and huge scars on the back of their heads. What you want to do is to shave it off, or at least buzz it as short as you can. Grow stubbles or a beard because the fully shaven head/face combo is hard to pull off (we ain't all built like The Rock). A shaven head with stubble looks manly as heck, so you have to accentuate that. This is why everyone tells bald guys to go to the gym and pack muscle. I did that and I can safely say that I have NO regrets, even if buying clothes that fit good is a huge pain lol (stretchy fabrics and tailors exist thankfully). On that matter, you can follow the clothing tips on this channel as they are really good and a fit body will just enhance the clothes you wear (polos are pure money when you are jacked). You won't attract the woke feminists with blue armpit hair who think big is beautifull type with your new chrome dome look, but 95% of other women will not care about your hair. If 14 years old me could have seen present day me, I'm sure I would have binned my graphic tees and started shaving my head and lifting weights a lot sooner.
yeah i get it man.. it also depends tho.. people with darker skin look great when shaved cause you cant see the stubbles.. also white blonde man, if they shave , the shade of the stubbles is barely visible cause it also matches the skin color.. but for me, im of mediterranian descent and have absolutely black curly hair and pale skin.. i deal with my balding by shaving my head but even with the closest shave.. you see the black stubbles on the pale skin... cause i have very thick black beard it is acceptable... but do you have any tipps about the visible stubbles ? always wondered how some bald people have such perfectly shining head...
@@mike15. I'm juste like you to be honest, my dark brown hair does show on my white skin even right after shaving. The two ways I know to make the stubble completely invisible in our case is to A) get so old that your haird turns white and doesn't show so much and B) wax it. Personnally I chose to enjoy life right now and just not really care about visible stubbles (and there is no way in hell I'm using wax there). You see it more because you focus so much on it, but trust me, if you've gone to the lenght of actually shaving your head it's plenty good enough. Heck, I haven't shaved for a couple months, I just buzz it down to the lowest setting every other day and you really get used to it. More precisely, I just buzz it for things like a day of work, but if I want to attend a social event and look my best, then I will actually shave it all off. I won't waste precious gym time playing the hair dresser!
100% correct !!, i lost mind at 26 and but did not find my confidence until 36, with finding it came success with women. stand up straight , WALK PROUD, look people in the eye, and be direct with people.
I started loosing my hair in my 20's. I never worried about it, i shaved it off. I shave my head daily since then and im now 64. No regrets, and the most intresting part is im a barber.
@@nanda483 again. you assume a guy is masculine because he has a masculine face that includes. square jaw, hunter eyes, wide nose etc... there bald guys who look like that but there are also bald guys with extreamly feminine face that isnt attractive. it has nothing to do with a shaved head or baldness. and shaved head is not being bald. because a shaved head still has the hairline while bald people do not
@mrbaldingmanlet that's literally not what I said. First of all, masculinity is about the energy and the actions. If a guy has a masculine energy + shaved head, I really like it. That's what I said. That I have a preference for masculine men (the energy) with SHAVED head (that's the only part about the look I mentioned, and I explicitly used the word SHAVED). I just like masculine man in general, and that has nothing to do with looks. SHAVED head is just one of the physical traits I personally feel attracted to. That's what I mean 🥺
At the end of it, it all boils down to one woman. The woman of your life! If she loves how you look forget the hair part. Hair becomes important only for a mass opinion and life is not about mass opinions. Be confident with what you have and try to look YOUR best.
@@hobosnake1 yeh thats bullshit lol I went fully bald before just before 30 and didn't affect dating success at all, in fact found the love of my life whilst bald. If everything suddenly dries up completely its because you've let your hair loss turn you into a negative personality
I can personally give my story here. I get thin hair from my dad. I could never do anything with it and you could always see my scalp no matter what. In 2010, I completely buzzed it. Not shaved but buzzed it to where the next level would be squeaky clean bald. INSTANTLY, it made me feel more masculine and my focus on improving myself shifted from the head to the other areas like shoes, tattoos, shirts, pants etc. It's a game changer and freeing.
I shave my head since 21, I’m 42 now. The only problem on being bold is on our own mind. For all the young guys out there, the sooner you realize it, the successful and free you will be 💪🏻😄
depends on head shape, like some people have a cone head like myself and the bald look does not look good. good thing is a buzz cut down to like a 1 still kinda works for me, currently 24 and now I often wear hats all the time.
Come on man let's call a spade a spade .... your days of attracting hot women are done once the hair disappears but you can still attract mediocre looking women but it depends what your standards are tbh
@@vinujk2405 well by that regard if the standards don't drop it's a wrap because I have no luck at all and I'm actually in shape and athletic looking so I feel bad for the ones who don't even physically have themselves in check
Impeccable timing as usual Antonio. In just over a week, I'll be turning 30, and I'll be officially saying goodbye to the struggle of hair loss. After the military, my hairline just receded so quickly. I didn't really care for the most part. I already had a gf turned wife, and I was a touring musician, so confidence wasn't an issue. I always felt that owning your hair loss was a more confident and masculine thing to do. But I look in the mirror now and I'm just annoyed at all the extra bs I have to do just to look decent. And I don't do combovers or anything extreme. My style is just brought down so much now. But at this point, I'm ready to embrace my 30's, and a new decade of my life deserves one less stressor. Sayonora, hair loss!
I am 22 and have a bit of a receding hairline, I was feeling unconfident for like 2 or 3 years and decided to shave it off 3 months ago. I never felt so confident and happy with my look. I don't care if people like it or not, it is perfect for me and I am so happy with my choice! Take care
Same thing happened with me bro i am just 21 and due to stress or genetics i don't know.. it could be stress cause i was in stress for the past 2 years as my dad expired but last year I saw some receeding i consulted doc and he said i am norwood 1.5- 2 and prescribed me finax previously i started taking finax and after taking it for 3 months even though I was seeing great results but still I thought why the hell even I am taking it ,is it worth it, is it even worth the risk i am taking by consuming it .. hell naah so I took my trimmer and bam just shaved it i thought that my folks frnds and my girl would laugh at my face but on the contrary they loved it and Mee too I loved it. i have thick beard so it kinda help me with my look .. started lifting weights , started focussing more in my gig and now i am way too relaxed ,confident have stress free😂..
@NorthOfWindsor idk, being bitter and blaming others for not liking you is pretty depressing. If they didnt want you before, it's not cuz you bald man.
Started losing my hair in my early 20s, after years of having long hair I was gutted but made the choice to shave it. Had a friend shave it for me the first time so as to get the ribbing out the way. Been bald ever since, and now most of my friends shave theirs too
seems like you are the perfect role model. Can relate, had a similar moment with my friends. I am in my 20s, still having a full head of hair and I am not balding (at least not yet but maybe in the next few years) and I had some friends over my place for a nice evening. We were having a few drinks, played video games and talked about this and that like life, girls, jobs, etc. etc. At some point we started talking about styles and we realised that I kinda looked like a femboy and that maybe I should consider a make over and a new style, giving me a lot of suggestions what I could try. One of my friends who actually sports a shaved head for some time (he usually had longer hair) threw into the room that it would be interesting seeing me bald. We all had a good laugh on that idea but I started to consider it, so in the end I went to my bathroom, grabbed the clippers, came back to the living room and asked him to shave my head. He did it and we even razor-shaved my head afterwards. Had to get used to having no hair but it suits me and my friends like it.
I know this is coming from a guy with a full head of long dark hair in his sixties, but my father kept his head shaved through the ‘60s and the ‘70s when everyone had long hair other then him, Isaac Hayes and Yul Brenner. Women found him very attractive. And while he was a farmer and truck driver, when he chose to wear a suit or a tux, he really did look sharp with the bald head.
It helps when a guy has a nicely shaped head, but even so, there are things to consider with loving understanding, i.e that being born with certain body areas we aren't happy about (and sadly made fun of is not nice). Loving someone regardless of what appears unappealing perhaps to others, or eye of beholder, there is beauty in seeing genuine love in couples with their physical flaws, that find each other attractive most importantly spiritually, and surprisingly physically!
My hairline started Receding when I was 24 years old, now I’m 43 and I just razor my head, I found out that if I had stubble facial hair that was edged up very clean, in combination with working out at the gym five days a week and Tanning . Women love it. But I do have a collection of about 80 hats lol
At the age of 18, I've been maintaining a perfectly shaved head for the past 1.5 years, and it's been an incredibly liberating experience. Despite having a flawless hairline, I've found that the routine of shaving every 2 to 3 days not only keeps my appearance sharp but also brings about a sense of confidence and comfort. There's something undeniably refreshing about the feel of a freshly shaved head, and it has become a personal preference that I thoroughly enjoy. It's amazing how a simple grooming choice can make such a positive impact on how I feel about myself.
Well the issue is, having a nice hairstyle and then it being gone from having to shave every other day is pretty annoying, luckily there are hair transplants
My dad is a handsome guy who happens to be bald. Like my mom has always said, “If you’re good lookin’, the hair isn’t necessary, and if you’re ugly there’s no amount of hair that’s gonna fix it” lol
Pro-Tips from someone with 20 years experience with shaving my head&face - 1. Shave Gel is good, but Coconut Lotion is best. 2. Shave in the shower. Shower nosils usually have the pressure to quickly & easily clean razors... which you're going to be doing dozens and dozens of times each time you shave, which should be 3 times a week.
When I was 24 (35 now), my hair started to thin. At the very moment I realized that I shaved it off. Those who know me were a bit shocked, but I was also lucky that it was percieved very good and people complimented my head shape. I also grew a beard and there are women that tell me that I rock it. Keep in mind tho, It did changed the way I look drasticaly and some people can't cope with that, but you should embrace the change. People who just got to know me always say that it suits me well and no need to change that. The thing is, my barber always told me that I don't have the right head shape for a buzz cut so I always had a "normal" hairstyle. Guess barbers were wrong. Also, some women that were interested in me before that when it comes to looks, were turned off by it, especialy since I don't use a razor to go completely bald but I'm using a trimmer, so there's a bald spot, something like Jason Statham. But, I'm satisfied with it and don't care about it at all, so there are many women who just love it. Own yourself and what you are. Don't hide it and be confident and open about it. Most people don't care at all and there are women who will be interested in you and even compliment your "hairstlye" and balls that most people don't have. Also lead a healthy lifestly and workout. I did that always so fit body complimented the shaved head better. Cheers!
For me, aside from the psychological issues that balding usually causes most men, my father was very abusive and he was bald. I already have his eyes even though I look like my mom, but going bald will give me one more similarity to him. That is my problem. I can’t have pts every time I look in the mirror. Guys, be good to your children.
We cannot choose our parents. We cannot choose how they treat us and others. We can only choose how to proceed with ourselves in the moment. You are not your father, you are you and it seems like you learned from the mistakes of your father. If you do decide to take the plunge, remind yourself that you may have the appearance of him, but the reflection staring back at you is not him. You are you and no one can take that from you. Hope you do well and find confidence and peace with it all.
Currently got a head of hair that goes down to my back, and I get a ton of compliments. However, I have also made the commitment to myself that the moment I start to bald (runs in the family, unfortunately), im not gonna fight it, im gonna embrace it and shave it all off and focus on my facial hair.
. For me it's pretty simple: Being bald is in my genes. I can't do anything about it. I started to loose hair at my 30's. Now I'm 44 and I'm not particularly attractive, so having my head shaved doesn't change a thing.
I bald fade with a 0.5 upstairs every 3 weeks despite being capable of growing a full head of hair. Some women care a lot about a man having hair. Many do not. Bald guys can still have a lean face clothes and muscles
I ended up just shaving my head for the first time and I have a full head of hair still. Just tired of having to do my hair every morning or when I get off of the motorcycle.
This video has excellent head shaving tips. I tried all the snake oil and it didnt work for me. I couldn't shave it in the 90's because it was considered a fad in the military. The late 90's to early 2000's, the USAF changed a little, and more men started shaving their heads. I've shaved my head since 2003 and now I have a gray beard. My wife likes it! Don't hide it. Just take the Clippers and cut it short. Once you adjust to it, start shaving the head. I use a Hydro 5 blade, an Alum Block for occasional cuts, and the Old Spice Bald Care three step system. It works great for me, and cuts down on the shaving bumps.
Great advice- glad I started shaving my head. BUT don’t go and buy clippers to shave your head- you’ll only use them once! Go to a barber and have them clipper it down for you and then finish shaving at home. Shaving my head is easier than shaving my face honestly. Have only kicked my head once and my ear once (both due to rushing too much).
I’ve been clipping my hair very short- like between 0A and 0000 depending on my mood. I might be on my own island here, but feel more comfortable looking like a tennis ball than a cue ball. I suppose I lean toward Statham’s look. I’m not trying to hide anything. Just don’t want to shiny or gritty.
Guys I’m 23 years old. Used to have a mane for a head of hair. Long story short in 5 short years I did not. So I recently just started buzzing my head. I really love it. My advice would be go hit the gym like crazy, embrace your fear. Own your look. God doesn’t make mistakes. God bless love all you balding/bald men out there!!
I’m 59, bald since 40, and all the women I’ve dated since have been 18-23 including my partner of the last five years. Oh and I’m not a sugar daddy….I’m half Scottish (who are famously tight with money lol).
I think the key is 'I don't give a shit that I'm balding' displayed in behavior. Shaving bald is like growing a beard or long hair - you display you have the ability to step away from the herd. Due to all the 'I don't have to give a shit' dominance cues of doing your own thing, embracing them is another sign of either strength or the weak desire for attention, which is, again, displayed in behavior. Imo.
"Balding is not an choice... Bald is!" - N. Strauss The key here is beign in control of the circunstances (balding) vs. control de circunstances (bald). Is about owning your stuff and doing something about it. Shaving show control over their condition.
Yeah people have been saying this for about 15 years but when are we going to usher in the new era of them? Never because of all the tech of prevention now.
Buzz it or shave it. I personally buzz mine. Wasted a lot of time worrying about it, and thought it was horrible. It’s not. Some will like it and others won’t. People will sense your discomfort and that’s a big turn off.
Hair or being bald, its all about preferences..I still find it funny how some people use baldness as an insult while people wear it with pride and confindence. Im 1 of them.
I'm 25 and fully bald, all i can say it is definetly polarizing people around you, but there are most likely a lot of other things you can improve on so your overall image is less polarizing.
Started clipping mine without a guard (I like a shadow) in 06 and haven’t looked back. Thanks to Statham, Diesel, etc., the look has only become more popular. Probably losing mine slowly but I’ll never know. Also hides the grey and at 55, that’s a good thing!
Thank you much! I was concentrating growing my hair back? Trying to find a new combover thing. I think I’m better off shaved? (20yrs now) Love the content!
For a really smooth shave,.. do one pass with the razor and shaving cream, next use some kind of facial scub or exfoliating wash on you head to scrub of the dead layer of skin , wash off and do a second pass with the razor and shaving cream, you should instantly feel the difference, using a scrub gets you closer to the scalp resulting in a nice clean shave.
Hi, Im 27 years old and throughout my teenage and until 25 I had perfect hair a dude could ask for and I was really proud of my hair too and Idk what happened At 26 i started balding a little but I didn't paid attention until it was too late, my baldness was visible from afar and was worse in photos and under sunlight and I stopped clicking pictures I stopped going to parties etc basically my social life was murdered, I even stopped meeting my friends and relatives I was so ashamed and embarrassed of it, there is this girl I liked for years and I still do and before I could make my move , this happened and I never saw her of thought about her ever again it was like I suddenly turned to 48 from 27 and believe me I guy I became really unhealthy, my fightback response was I just stopped giving a f and I gained weight Like hell, and I started looking even worse, then one day I realised this is not how I want to spend the rest of my life mann, I was so toxic and depressed and I decided to do something about it I lost weight in 5 months and became lean and shaved my head completely (not shiny completely but completely like I left .01 millimetres hair on my head to give it an aesthetic look with my beard and I stopped giving a fuck about what anyone think of me or if girls like me or not cuz guys at the end we are our own responsibility , don't waste your time thinking about ot too much Because the right people and that one right girl will never mind about the hairs or anything, she/they will still love or will love you no matter what, and If she doesn't or won't then she aint the one bro trust me on this.
I am 22 years old , I have a receiding hairline and I've shaved my hair and let me tell you that was a glow up for me .. especially because I have good beard genetics! Go for it, it may look good on you as well
Thank you for finding positive resources of real multiple prospective of bald people. I lost my hair when I was 22 years old starting from Alopecia areata with a couple bald spots to Universalis that spreads total hair loss from head to toe. I'm 25 now and I got hairs growing back on my head and face slowly, but surely. The point is that attraction depends on each person, particularly from a head of hair to total baldness will change your demographic. But this helps shows people that it's still possible to not only put yourself out there, but love and accept the way you are and make yourself shine. And your head lol
It's all about confidence and turning it into an opportunity. I started balding on my mid 20s (yes, twenties...) and I had a lion's mame before that. And just said f*** it and starting buzzing my head and growing a beard. After almost a decade I got tired of beards too, simply because of maintenance and flaking and I just try to keep a clean all around shaven look nowadays.
I still had a full head of hair, but I was insecure about going bald as my dad was bald. I shaved my head when I was 24 and got even more attention from girls....
Know what you mean, having a full head of hair myself (25) but was worrying of balding since my dad went bald. Talked to him about that and he reassured me that there is nothing to be afraid of. Either I keep my hair or I'll go bald someday too which is not that bad. He offered me to shave my head so I can see that it is not a big deal and I agreed. He shaved my head completely to the skin and it felt weird at first, but after some time I got used to it. Didn't look that bad and there really was nothing to worry about after all. My dad is now joking that I am a smaller and younger version of him and to be honest it is kind of fun to rock the bald look together. Will grow my hair back at some point, but for now I will keep it shaved.
When it comes to attractiveness and women, It doesnt matter if you have hair or not...as long as you look good. Some men dont look that great with hair and others dont look that great without it, and vice-versa. The question of whether you have hair or not is not really the issue.
I went bald in my twenties, took me awhile but shaving is the best solution. You look more bad ass as well. I shaved it and grew a goatee and the difference in women's attitude (and some men) was noticeable in a very positive way. Tasks the plunge and shave it!
true, usually having longer hair but last month I decided to try out something new and shaved my head bald and grew a full beard at the same time. Turned from average university student to an older looking guy who looks like he has been to several places. I really like it and feel better with it, think I will keep the bald and beardy look for a longer time before growing my hair back at some point.
As someone who can't really pull off being bald due to my head being too long, I got SMP and it actually changed my life. You may think you would rater be bald, but having a hairline even if it's a shaved head makes a huge difference. All these people who say they would rather be bald don't realize how much of a difference the hairline makes. It makes your face look more proportional. The only people who call you a "Cope" are the obese neckbeard Incels who probably sit at home being overweight, all day wallowing in misery, while complaining that women dont like them and choose not to do anything about it. SMP works if you don't look good bald, Simple as that.
Balding has completely destroyed my confidence, women aren't attracted to me anymore, people are making fun of me, i'm scared to shave it off but i think it's time.
I have been balding since 27. I'm 42 now. Still debating on whether to shave it. A FB group about hair and makeup I surveyed said either balding or shaved could work for me. Personally I hate having facial hair, have no interest in appearing dominant, and worry head shaving would need to be done like every 3rd day versus a haircut every 3rd week. Also the concern over cuts and scar tissue that science literally has no remedy for even on the outside of the body.
Thank God I hot the genetic jackpot. For all of the balding brothers, dont let ehat you decide to do be determined by what others think. Women dont ever know what they want.
Woman here. Here’s my opinion. I prefer a buzz cut over a bald head. While a bald guy does appear stronger, I think a buzz cut is more attractive. A buzz cut makes a girl think “military,” and what girl isn’t attracted to a soldier? I also like rubbing my hands over the hair stubbles. 😊 Another tip: If you are thin up top, don’t have a long, thick beard. It isn’t proportional. When you have a thick beard, it just emphasizes your hair loss. Keep it balanced. Besides, it looks cleaner, it’s easier to maintain, and it’s sexier. Us girls want to see your jawline and your smile.
I buzz mine and I have an athletic military body. My dad was in the service so I emulated it when my hair was thinning. Now I can maintain a full "head of hair look" but it's shaved like a marine.
I'm currently 20 years old, I've shaven my head numerous times in high school, and I also rocked a good amount of hairstyles. And I wasn't even losing hair (long story) I've always noticed that every time my hair was long I'd get somewhat depressed, but when shave it and go bald I feel a surge of confidence and assertiveness in me. Currently, I have a buzz cut with a beard and I am seeing that my hairline is starting to recede a bit, I now rock widows peak. And I'm honestly not too worried about it Because I shaved my hair before, I recommend it. Besides, instead of worrying about your hair i suggest you worry about your body. Many people worry about their hair, they fix it, they go to work; now you're bald there's nothing to fix except the other Redeeming qualities of your body, bald men look much stronger by 'em self but if you can put in the work and build more muscle 🤯 you'd look like you'd put one punch man to shame.
Great video. Don’t forget this fellow gents: while there are women who don’t like a bald look there are women who don’t like a certain eye colour. Or it might be a certain type of face. It’s all subjective. Guys can laugh it off if it’s about not being a woman’s type but when it about balding the rejection cuts harder. But here’s the thing. There are dudes who have to have a girl with 36+ cups. Remember that breast augumentation is a serious biz. Some women have to be able to grab some hair, that’s just the way it is. I lost my crop in high school. Yea it hurt. Yea for a while I wore hair systems. The women I met didn’t care if I wore it, they didn’t care because they knew I felt better with it but in the end I felt like I was hiding. I finally did it 22 years ago and I never looked back. I’ve had women come up and rub my head many times. One girl even shouted something that I can’t write here but you can guess. What starts out looking like a condition (hair falling out) matures into a trait (bald look) just like any other trait. I would’ve liked to have known that when I was 19. It took me a long time to be cool with it. If you realise it’s all in your head while you’re young and you take action you’ll have it made. Oh, one more thing: work out. It helps. Peace and all the very best.
Hi great show awesome coverage. I am a 72-year-old single male. I once had lots of hair, until my construction helmet blew it away. LOL.. It began at the age of 45, and I felt horrible about having half a head of hair. It wasn't until I joined the military as a navy member. Our tours were to China and elsewhere where the heat, and reflection of the sun off of the water made me sweat a lot. The other crew members were half my age and most had bald heads. After a few weeks at sea, I decided to give shaving my head bald a try. I was 52 years old at that time. I have never turned back and at 72 I still shave my head every day. There are some wonderful features to having a bald head. 1) Is the cost of a haircut, and making appointments for the haircut. 2) I always look neat in appearance. 3) I never have to groom hair that I do not have. 4) I never have to be concerned about dandruff. 5) I can put a nice sensible cologne on my head. 6) my eyeglasses give a nicer appearance. I would be remiss to mention that it takes guts to shave one's head, but after a few months I felt better on the inside. All-in-all I feel richer in so many ways.
Same, 21 just receding hairline, but very noticeable (at least to me & don’t look good bald I tried) so now I don’t go out, quit hanging out with friends, gave up on relationships. I feel you brother, lost everything in life in a month or 2.
I use to rock the bald head back in middle school, and I started doing it permanently in late 2020 during the height of the pandemic. My hairline started receding anyway and I'm getting older (just turned 38), and I'm saving money from having to get haircuts. I'm used to girls being attracted to it 😅 but I've always been told I can pull off the shaved head anyway. Only issue I usually have is the razor bumps, but there's ointments to alleviate that.
I do agree with his point that some women genuinely don’t find bald attractive. Of course, attraction is subjective and it’s to be expected. However, the hair has left the room, so we’re navigating the waters we find ourselves in. I can’t attest to the fact that some women genuinely like the look, particularly allied to ownership of it
great video. I think its worth noting that at the end of the day, being bald is just another haircut. Im 27 and have just now started too notice some minor recession start to happen. I went ahead and shaved completely bald just for the hell of it and actually really liked it. I grew my hair back out but im gunna go back to it just cause I liked the look. guys like Kobe Bryant and the Rock really didn't wait until they were totally bald before they did it. Just go for it if you want gents! best not to over complicate it.
My Nephew, who just turned 27 is a Officer in the Airforce and this year is the first time he took control of new recuites. He actually done some modelling a few years back, a tall 6'5" good looking, clean shaven, looks a bit younger than what he is with a full head of hair, extremely fit guy physically, some would call him a Gym Bunny. Saw him last week, completly shaved head and a thick beard. Because he was such a "Pretty Boy" No one took him seriously, until he grew the beard and shaved the head. And I have to admit, he looks strong, intimidating, mature (Reminds me of Techno Viking from a few years back) He done it to look the part and by all accounts, none of the new ones question him.
It always amazes me how some men wait till it's noticeable, say like 30000 hairs & then panic. It's much harder to regain than prevent. I did a video on how cheap it is to do all the best hair loss prevention
Two minutes ago, I was shaving my skull (Remington Balder). I shave every other day to prevent stubble. I was graying and balding for 30 years, and I just didn't like the way I was looking. So I decided to either do a buzz cut (Jason Statham) or go full skin (The Rock). The ROCK!! That was January, and I still haven't gotten used to being bald.. I've been told I look years younger. Maybe. I'm still self-conscious about it. Frankly nobody seems to take notice. But, this is going to be my look for the rest of my life.
In terms of dating the person you're meant to be with isn't going to care about you being bald or not. They're going to love you for you, and its true bald is always better than balding.
"It's all about confidence" they say! May be if you're balding since ur school days, with lots of acnes and holes on ur face and yellowish teeth and an underweight thin body, all these since childhood, I hope it's understandable why I'm not that confident talking to people!
I’ve been buzz cutting, shaving my hair ever since i was in my early 20’s, been living between that and a fade when it grows. Got nothing to complain about
If you have the confidence to pull it off, women love it. I started losing my hair when I was 17, I’m 47 now, and have never looked back. Not to sound like an Ass hole, but I’m also 6’4” in great shape and am not a bad looking man. But for what my two cents are worth, absolutely go for it. If you know it’ll look good, then she’ll think it looks good. Women love to touch my head.
@@Sphereal I don’t disagree at all. Lol. But I’ve seen men with far less physical gifts do very well with the ladies based on the confidence they project.
@@Sphereal I'm 5'-6" with a shaved head and have no trouble getting attention from beautiful women from different ethnicities...including women who are taller than me. I'm easy on the eyes, so that helps...but being under 5'-10" and with an average body type is not always a deal-breaker.
@John.. any tipps for me ? im shaving my head, and have a perfect black beard BUT i am pale with black curly hair.. and even with the closest head shave i still see the stubbles.. how can i get a perfect shining bald head like yours without stunbles ? i tried cartridge , electric, straight razor.. am i missing something ?
@@mike15. I get the best shave on my head with a five blade electric shaver. If you haven’t tried one of those, definitely check those out. The one I have now is from freedom grooming and it’s perfect. The best advice I can give you, and this may not be practical with your complexion and skin tone, is to try and get a little bit of tan or color on your head. I’m incredibly lucky because I’m dark complected and tan very easily. My head looks so even because I can keep it tan enough that you can’t distinguish between the part that is shaved and the part where no hair grows. If you haven’t already tried it, try getting some color on your head, as much as your head will allow. I hope that helps. Feel free to drop me a line and let me know if that helps or if you have any other questions. Best of luck.
Shave it if your noticeably balding!! Trust me and the video. My personal experience.. woman do not necessarily find bald ugly especially if you can pull off the look. Bald is for some woman and not for others. But you wont ever really hear "ugly". Some facial hair helps and dressing nicely / accessorizing really helps. Make sure to exercise. Confidence is also a key fellas!
As a shaver, let me just say, it's not being bald that looks bad, it's balding...thus shaving your head can not only take years off your appearance, but also restore confidence because (a) it means you don't have to constantly worry about it and (b) it brings back symmetry and restores focus on the face
That’s very generous I have been wondering about this and searched occasionally without much luck and then just gave up the whole thing but It always was somewhere in my head; I admit I even use hats since then; Thank you.
Great video Antonio! I love how you always give us the facts and numbers, shows you really care. Seriously, I feel the overwhelming urge to shave my head already. I want to see more Thomas videos. His persona is awesome.
I shave mine in the shower. Let the hot water hit it for a minute or so, then spread a good quality conditioner on it. Electric razor (Pitbull Gold) for casual days. Cartridge razor for work or going out, just using conditioner. When dry, put some bald head moisturizer to shine it up.
Absolutely. It was stressing me out for years I’d be constantly looking in the mirror worrying about it. Never even thought about it again once I shaved it off
I'm 27 and shave my head. At 26 I first shaved my head bald because of thinning hair and a receding hairline. Women love healthy hair or shaved heads, nothing in between. You will fear more confident and your hairline anxiety will disappear. You look more healthier with a shaved head too
Started loosing my hair around the same time I enlisted in the Irish Army and had planned to get it shaved to a number 1 haircut similar to the U. S. Marines anyway and after 6 years of having it that way (served for 6 years) I didn't care when I left and have kept my (lack of) hair that way ever since.
I walk down a street with a lot of bars on my way home from work. It’s like a damn shooting gallery of comments and laughter. I even get it from homeless people if I don’t have anything to give them. I used to be a photographer at weddings and the bridesmaids would verbally assault me once they had a few drinks. They would talk with each other in front of me and call me a creep without even looking at me. Like I wasn’t human. I don’t know any of these people and don’t speak to them. Tell me what that has to do with confidence? I was able to get dates and have girlfriends when I had hair, but now they’re just disgusted.
I too have been balding since my early 20s and I’ve tried the bald look, but for me it just doesn’t fit so I rock hats and keep a low cut. I’m a guy that takes care of himself and always have gotten attention from the ladies, so I can truly say in my experience when I’ve done the bald thing there was definitely a drop off in the attention I received, but I can also say that the confidence was not there, I don’t like being bald. I’m not knocking the guys that chose to let it go (like the vid says) there’s a certain demographic of woman that will still be attracted to you with a bald head. That being said I want to appeal not to just to one demographic of women, I like all women lol. The majority of women when it comes to men would prefer hair. I’m planning surgery to get mines back next year, it’s really all about how your look makes you feel, if baldness liberates you rock it but for me the best version of myself is having a strong healthy head of hair, financial freedom, staying in shape and confidently going at any woman I like. I feel that’s how I’ll find the one that’s right for me by having so many options 😌
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am 23 and have been balding since 20 and it’s becoming difficult to hide it now. My plan is to shave it off in a year or 2 and if it doesn’t look good then I’ll have a transplant
Just be prepared when you start losing the hair you havent lost yet after wasting thousands of dollars with the hair transplants along with the so called "treatments" they claim you need to avoid losing that remaining natural hair, you will be all upset. If you read their small letters that say "RESULTS MAY VARY" or any other phrases they use to avoid being sued in case of a transplant does not give the desired long term results
You have to have a nice round or oval symmetrical head shape to pull off the bald look. Some people got cone head. I've seen people go from almost completely bald to a full thick head of hair by taking dht blocking medication and micro needling without a hair transplant. If you read up a lot there is a ton you can do to get it back
"I like all women" well theres the problem. You sound boring and have no sense of style. Now you are saying you need to have a full head of hair to make money and go to the gym? nah man, you just sound unsure about yourself and want to be liked by most women. Look how confident you are that a surgery will bring your hair back, look at the horror stories and how unnatural it looks. plus the scaring. You're gonna scar your whole head, just to get women? sad.
Bald since 24 years old and I just felt like Samson in the bible I lost all my power! Great that there is so many medical options now but now 33 wish I started to protected it then!
Yes bald men are sexy! Even women we have misconceptions about ourselves. Had a lot a compliments when I went super short two months ago and grey hair. No more fake color. From men and women. Assuming is sexier than faking!
As soon as you notice it going, just take dutasteride or finasteride if you want to keep it. If not, shave. Basically the only options unless you have a hair system but those seem less attractive than being confident in your baldness
As a guy, i have to say if you have receeding or thining hair, and you are t prepared to shave, keep it short and neat. Guys with receeding hair who let it it go wild strike people as someone who has never looked in a mirror. For whatever reason, dont be that guy - ever! If you keep it short and neat you will look like someone who cares about the way they look. Go to a styalist (not a barber) and ask them to find a look thats flattering for you. I have most if my hair, and i just keep it short. I like the way i look and I project that confidence.

I was in my late 20s when one day takeing a shower I noticed a lot of hair in the tub , looked at my hair in the mirror relized I was going thin on top , took the razor out and the next day I met the most attractive woman I had ever laid my eyes on , we have been together for 22 years now . All thank to my bald head ..
wow, that is a cool story! Maybe I should do the same
Awesome !!
Stop the cap
I don't like, long hair on men
Never did...
At least being bald, is masculine...with shaved head
Not everyone is lucky like you
I started losing my hair back in high school.
I agree, let nature run its cousre, let it fall out !!
yeah i get it man.. it also depends tho.. people with darker skin look great when shaved cause you cant see the stubbles.. also white blonde man, if they shave , the shade of the stubbles is barely visible cause it also matches the skin color.. but for me, im of mediterranian descent and have absolutely black curly hair and pale skin.. i deal with my balding by shaving my head but even with the closest shave.. you see the black stubbles on the pale skin... cause i have very thick black beard it is acceptable... but do you have any tipps about the visible stubbles ? always wondered how some bald people have such perfectly shining head...
You need a really masculine face to rock the bald look, what if you have a feminine face and no beard

If nothing else, at least now we know who shaves the barber. Russell would've been satisfied, old gent!
I'm a woman and I personally prefer masculine guys with shaved head. Looks great 🥰
Shaved not Bald. Thank god, i got SMP.
shaved head or baldness has nothing to do with masculinty.
@@DracoMeteor91 read my comment again
Yeah sure
I disagree smh it all boils down to one person YOU what feels true to you. If you’re bald and radiate confidence and masculinity women will be in awe
What happens if you had female attention and then you went bald and you're still your funny confident self but now nobody gives you the time of day?
@@MrMagoo-rg8er Doubt it
@@hobosnake1 yeh thats bullshit lol I went fully bald before just before 30 and didn't affect dating success at all, in fact found the love of my life whilst bald.
Honestly, I respect the hard hitting truth. The message of this video is work with what you have, not what you lack. Great advice!
Thank you
Come on man let's call a spade a spade .... your days of attracting hot women are done once the hair disappears but you can still attract mediocre looking women but it depends what your standards are tbh
@@98TheJackInTheBox I have to disagree. Your standards rimane the same, with hair or without.
Take care
Same thing happened with me bro i am just 21 and due to stress or genetics i don't know.. it could be stress cause i was in stress for the past 2 years as my dad expired but last year I saw some receeding i consulted doc and he said i am norwood 1.5- 2 and prescribed me finax previously i started taking finax and after taking it for 3 months even though I was seeing great results but still I thought why the hell even I am taking it ,is it worth it, is it even worth the risk i am taking by consuming it .. hell naah so I took my trimmer and bam just shaved it i thought that my folks frnds and my girl would laugh at my face but on the contrary they loved it and Mee too I loved it. i have thick beard so it kinda help me with my look .. started lifting weights , started focussing more in my gig and now i am way too relaxed ,confident have stress free😂..
just did the same thing man im 22 as well and cut mine. best feeling ever! happy i have a good shaped head .
Been bald ever since, and now most of my friends shave theirs too
You trend setter you! ; ) Good to see you were able to be a positive example!

seems like you are the perfect role model.
You forgot Kojak...Telly Savalas
It helps when a guy has a nicely shaped head, but even so, there are things to consider with loving understanding, i.e that being born with certain body areas we aren't happy about (and sadly made fun of is not nice). Loving someone regardless of what appears unappealing perhaps to others, or eye of beholder, there is beauty in seeing genuine love in couples with their physical flaws, that find each other attractive most importantly spiritually, and surprisingly physically!
Yul Brynner was my first crush!
Shaving your head if you’re losing hair = CONFIDENCE.
My hairline started Receding when I was 24 years old, now I’m 43 and I just razor my head, I found out that if I had stubble facial hair that was edged up very clean, in combination with working out at the gym five days a week and Tanning . Women love it.
But I do have a collection of about 80 hats lol
You're also over 6 feet tall I'm sure.
It’s not only about looks but it’s about how you carry yourself
Well the issue is, having a nice hairstyle and then it being gone from having to shave every other day is pretty annoying, luckily there are hair transplants
My dad is a handsome guy who happens to be bald. Like my mom has always said, “If you’re good lookin’, the hair isn’t necessary, and if you’re ugly there’s no amount of hair that’s gonna fix it” lol
Your dad is attractive despite being bald, not because he's bald.
great.. thanks for the heads up..
I,m a bald boy can you marry me
I couldn't resist to laugh.. LOL
Amazing wisdom from your mother right there 😂
Pro-Tips from someone with 20 years experience with shaving my head&face -
1. Shave Gel is good, but Coconut Lotion is best.
2. Shave in the shower. Shower nosils usually have the pressure to quickly & easily clean razors... which you're going to be doing dozens and dozens of times each time you shave, which should be 3 times a week.
If you dry the razors well or use alcohol to clean them they will last months.
Cheers!
thanks 😘❤❤
I've been bald since I was 16½. But you got to be in shape. Or skinny at least to pull it off.
For me, aside from the psychological issues that balding usually causes most men, my father was very abusive and he was bald. I already have his eyes even though I look like my mom, but going bald will give me one more similarity to him. That is my problem. I can’t have pts every time I look in the mirror. Guys, be good to your children.
Just keep this in mind, an analogy -
There's a big difference, if not complete opposites, between 'Psycho Serial Killer Bald' and 'Mr Clean Bald.'
@@cdtaylor7732 I really appreciate this. Thank you.
I can relate to this more than you know, but just remember you are not your father.
This guy is a Legend! I have been bald for almost 10 years, I've had more opportunities with women since... 👍
1STMAN stands out to me, he's a strong bald man and looks great! Shaving totally works!
Currently got a head of hair that goes down to my back, and I get a ton of compliments. However, I have also made the commitment to myself that the moment I start to bald (runs in the family, unfortunately), im not gonna fight it, im gonna embrace it and shave it all off and focus on my facial hair.
This is cope bro, get on finasteride and save your hair. lol being bald is gross my guy
totally agree
. For me it's pretty simple: Being bald is in my genes. I can't do anything about it. I started to loose hair at my 30's. Now I'm 44 and I'm not particularly attractive, so having my head shaved doesn't change a thing.
I Think u look good my friend
Being lean and in shape will benefit you 10x more than having hair. The controlable variables actually are more attractive to women
I have been bald and shave my head once a week and am proud of it. Will try two of your suggestions not used before. Thank you.😁😄
Great advice- glad I started shaving my head.
Strauss
The key here is beign in control of the circunstances (balding) vs. control de circunstances (bald).
Is about owning your stuff and doing something about it. Shaving show control over their condition.
Where's the love for my boi Jason Statham. He's literally every young guy hero when it comes to this whole issue imo.
(20yrs now)
Love the content!
For a guy with a full head of hair you have made a great video for bald guys 🙌
@NorthOfWindsor were looking for needles in a massive haystack. It's ridiculous 😂
@NorthOfWindsorwith or without hair, there’s no right girl or right guy for most people. 99% of relationships end in a break up
I am 22 years old , I have a receiding hairline and I've shaved my hair and let me tell you that was a glow up for me .. especially because I have good beard genetics! Go for it, it may look good on you as well
I've had alopecia since I was pretty young. I wear a head covering. Many people think I look iconic and cool. Can't Complain.
@@LakituKoopa It's a great decision! Glad you like it.
When it comes to attractiveness and women, It doesnt matter if you have hair or not...as long as you look good. Some men dont look that great with hair and others dont look that great without it, and vice-versa. The question of whether you have hair or not is not really the issue.
Generally speaking, if your face is interchangeable with your ass, then being bald doesn't matter.
I went bald in my twenties, took me awhile but shaving is the best solution. You look more bad ass as well. I shaved it and grew a goatee and the difference in women's attitude (and some men) was noticeable in a very positive way. Tasks the plunge and shave it!
Cope
true, usually having longer hair but last month I decided to try out something new and shaved my head bald and grew a full beard at the same time.

He got a wig
Shaved head, decent weight, tasteful ink, and fitted clothing is flattering. 💪🏼👍🏻👏🏻
My personal experience is that the women I'm attracted to like confidence, not macho or arrogance, and a clean, well-groomed non-fussy look in a man.
Just buy a decent Hair clipper Homie!
Another tip: If you are thin up top, don’t have a long, thick beard. It isn’t proportional. When you have a thick beard, it just emphasizes your hair loss. Keep it balanced. Besides, it looks cleaner, it’s easier to maintain, and it’s sexier. Us girls want to see your jawline and your smile.
That's why i got SMP.
I went bald at 23. I stopped going out & socializing.
Love my thick black wavy hair, and girls love it as well
My Nephew, who just turned 27 is a Officer in the Airforce and this year is the first time he took control of new recuites.
Suck. His D already friend
Knock it off, he’s just a cook in the airforce🤡

Have had head shaved since high-school. Women love it.
It always amazes me how some men wait till it's noticeable, say like 30000 hairs & then panic. It's much harder to regain than prevent. I did a video on how cheap it is to do all the best hair loss prevention
Sometimes no matter what pills or hair loss medication you use... The bald genetics win
Do something about it instead of moaning.
I think your height and bodybuild might be the reason why you still get female attention.
I still have plenty of hair but 50 per cent of the time I rock a shaven head and love it. Chicks dig it.
That’s very generous I have been wondering about this and searched occasionally without much luck and then just gave up the whole thing but It always was somewhere in my head; I admit I even use hats since then;
Thank you.
You have such a nice vibe. Great videos.
Shaved my head and it changed my love life for the better. Much better! My only regret was not doing it sooner...
It’s rough, I’m 20 and in the Marine Corps so I can’t grow facial hair to compensate for hair loss. Really sucks…
The best thing about shaving your head is, you don't have to worry about hair loss anymore...
Shave your head, grow beard, enjoy your life
Wow, so you speak for approximately 3.95 BILLION women! Amazing.
I,m full bald boy ple can you count me full hot
Halftime Razor for the win if you want the "razor finish" or Skull Shaver for a little different look
As soon as you notice it going, just take dutasteride or finasteride if you want to keep it. If not, shave. Basically the only options unless you have a hair system but those seem less attractive than being confident in your baldness
well of course until new advancements into balding restorations which could never be discounted. that's a billion dollar discovery.
Try using regular conditioner on your head your hair comes off like butter
Started going bald in my late 20s, I shaved my head, grew a beard that I shape and trim, feels great other than the day 1 Velcro scalp 😂
Thank God I have a full head of hair.
You sound insecure….even with your hair you insecure!!
it's really about creating a coherent 'look'. That could be with luxurious hair or with a bald head. What you don't want to be is in-between....
Having an Irish Celtic skin type in Australia is pretty intense btw... Awesome advice tho!!
