Great video you guys! As a bald man, first, I completely agree with showing more skin. The confidence factor is part of it, but I think it also creates a balance of the top of your body (since there isn't hair), as well as drawing attention to the chest and shoulders opposed to your lack of hair. Secondly, the flat cap is something I've constantly received compliments on. I wear it during colder weather here in Canada, and I will wear a backward ballcap to compliment more athletic wear when I'm training! I have a larger head, so fedoras don't quite compliment me as well, which could be a great sub-topic for another video :) Keep up the great content!
One key element you ignored is face shape. A beard on a long, thin face can look cartoonish, and baldness can only exaggerate the effect. Glasses are also an influence on face shape. Round glasses on a bald, round head could make you look like an aging Charlie Brown. Coloring was also overlooked. Billy Zane, Yul Brenner, Samuel Jackson, The Rock...their darker coloring enhances the skin-top look, whereas Ron Howard's lighter skin tone is not as flattering to his lack of hairline. What looks OK on Ihsaan may not have suited Dwight Eisenhower.
Great video! Perfect timing, 55+ plus and just shaved my head. Was nervous as heck initially, so far, everyone says it looks great and makes me look much younger. Feels liberating. Wish i would've done it years ago. This video is the best video so far on the various looks to accentuate the "look". Very professional, not trying to be cute and funny.

Greta tips but there’s one crucial thing you didn’t mention, which is fitness. If you’re bald you need to go to the gym, not only will gaining muscle/strength help your confidence, but it will also really help make you more defined and compliment your baldness
I have been shaving my coconut for 20 years now. Started going bald in my late 20's and cut it short. A met a lady in my early 30's who really liked the "downtown" action but did not like the chaffing my head stubble created on the "inners". Convinced me to shave it and have never looked back. Being a very light complected white dude my facial hair is thin and white now (I'm 56) however keeping a close trimmed beard does it, according to my 20 years younger lady. Keeping yourself in good physical shape helps immensely also.

Welcome to the bald club. I just gotta say it's tough man. No matter what you try to do, it ain't gonna be like a full head of hair. People have hair in their bodies to protect themselves from the cold, but then it just falls off from the top of your head. Such an evolution fail... I started losing it after 28-30, you just look 10 years older instantly. Just gotta live with it i guess.
I'm 16 , if I can grow a decently dense beard , I will shave off my head clean by 30 , I will go for a more or less circle beard with it, if I can't grow a beard I will keep the hair

I’m bald and I like to wear cowboy hats , but I wear ball caps for work. I find a cowboy hats and cowboy boots are a confidence builder for me. But I guess it depends where you are. I live in rural Small town Arkansas so the western cowboy style is always in style here. The small cowboy hybrid hat is cool too.
All the suggestions are great. But dont think too much about hair or going bald. Just respect and thank to God what you have. Afterall a long healthy life matters most..Just enjoy your life without any hesitation....

Excellent video! I love my ball caps but also the flat cap is a more grown up choice... even worn by celebrities like Brad Pitt. Facial hair, sunglasses and the color black are all strong statements that are universally cool regardless of hair...all contributes to self-confidence.
You should have also mentioned that touching a man's bald head without permission is an absolute NO!. It is equivalent to touching someone's bare skin on any other part of the body without permission. Imagine a man walking through a club and running his hand through a woman's hair at random, or grabbing her hair aggressively. It it rude, and very forward behavior. Now, when she/he asks politely if they can rub your head, it is quite a different encounter.
Being an Indian 38 with 5'6" height & having bald + grey beard.... I have only one option clear shave head to facial which I am afraid 😭 How I can look younger or smarter....
@@TheStyleJumper Overall the video is great! One major tip I would give is confidence, No matter what confidence is key. If you don't think you can wear it because you're bald. Just take the leap and you'll make it!
What about men with long hair? I have lower back length thick curly hair (ladies love it). I'm alternative, an ageing goth who doesn't think baggy jeans and a band shirt is appropriate anymore. I will say I intentionally ignore the "no black suits" advice as I stand out anyway so I figure meh, so long as I do it in a way that makes it clear I'm not in a ultra formal suit with texture and patterns then I'm good (love my double breasted black suit with white pinstripes).
But what to do when friends name call you as (bald, takla, ganja, etc) and that disgusting name tag becomes your permanent name for life, that's very traumatic
JustJeff. Yes sir, that’s what I’m talking about!! Thanks for commenting!! You should check out my channel as well, I think you’ll enjoy the content!🕵🏾♂️✊🏾
I can't pull out the bald style, because my forehead on the upper sides is too wide due to receding hairline and my head shape is too oval on the sides of the top.
Thank you for the video. I shaved my head off and then tried to grow my hair long to cover both front and back bald spots. And im going back to bald or short hair after watching this video
I get it, and I love the advices. I'm bald as well and love the attention most times. But sometimes I just want to go under the radar. Mix with the crowd. Not catch any attention whatsoever. Avoid the paparazzi, so to speak. Any tips on that? (Other than Marvel movies' signature which is to don a baseball cap and a college jacket). Thanks! Love the vid. P.S. I may or may not be Vin, Dwayne, Bruce, Mark S., G. I. Jane or any other awesome bald personality. Just want sincere advice
This is just another great video! If it works on The Style Jumper or the rock I feel like it has to work... Even tho I'm not bald. Lol. But still a great video and many great ideas.
@Felix Butterfield I know that's what he meant. However, I don't think wearing black seems aggressive. When people go to a black tie affair, do we look at it as aggressive?
Re showing skin (open collars) - I'm 57, keep my head bald, and just lost a lot of weight (intentionally) - and I now rock V-neck tees. Even though advice is that older men shouldn't wear V's, I love showing off my newly-revealed old man's craggy throat muscles.
Shaved my hair off yesterday, it was so damaged and was getting a little thin. Thought I was gonna regret it but I really love it, and also I won’t have to buy shampoo or conditioner ever again!
i heard maintanence is way harder when your bald. . cuz now you gotta buy a million shaving products. . . let me know your experience cuz i wanna shave off mine soon :(
Before watching this video, I knew that it would be a great quality video Edit: it was a great video. Also, I learnt that having a bald head is another way of saying that you're using shoe polish for your head and shining it.
Real Men Real Style thanks for the reply. I think a 2019 video on clothes for students would be great. Also, a point that you could integrate in a video might be on how you could wear an identity lanyard correctly at work. Also, a dedicated video on how to go off the rack with suits would be great. I fear that some of the pockets in my suit jacket aren't meant to be 'opened up' so I can't put in a pocket square.
Thanks for your suggestions. There's nothing stylish about a lanyard so I wouldn't worry about trying to integrate it into your outfit. Have you seen my video on off the rack vs made to measure suits? Most off the rack jacket pockets are designed to be unpicked. Here's a tip - look at the stitching along the edge where the pocket would open. If the pocket is stitched with a loose thread - pull on it slightly or use a stitch unpicker. If the stitching appears tight - similar to the stitching along the seam of the jacket - you probably want to leave it alone because it's a faux pocket!
Real Men Real Style thanks. I greatly appreciate it. Of course suits look empty without these pocket squares. Therefore, knowing what to do with my suits before damaging them seemed important to me
The Aviation Channel I hope the video met your expectations!!! I enjoyed reading your thoughts and what you’d like to see!! There’s nothing I can add to Antonio’s answers they are spot on!

I live in rural Small town Arkansas so the western cowboy style is always in style here. The small cowboy hybrid hat is cool too.
Video’s like this really make me proud to be bald. Thanks for putting it together.
All the suggestions are great. But dont think too much about hair or going bald. Just respect and thank to God what you have. Afterall a long healthy life matters most..Just enjoy your life without any hesitation....
So nice, I came here defeated. Tired of battling my worse enemy every day, 'The Front Wind' that would unveil my McDonalds M.
Join in the Bald club and everyone's rocking it. I feel much more confident and included! Great Vid!
Gosh, those are the best tips I got from this channel, and the best tips for me as a bald haircut
Wow, we have special guest this time 👍🏻
Yes! He's a great guy! What did you think?
Indeed sir! He looks stylish and confident in his way. Well done sir, nice video, your channel become more interesting when you're collaborating with special guest. Keep it up sir 👍🏻. I love to watch your videos. Love from Malaysia ❤🇲🇾

Finally! love it :-) I made the same choice in my 30s don't regret it at all!
falconxblast Great choice!!!🕵🏾♂️👌🏾
Hmm, what about styles for those of us how actually work blue collar?
zwinmar21 denim Jackets, leather jackets, glasses, going for groceries have a nice tracksuit.
Denim jeans, plain t shirts, boots, sunglasses
Excellent video! I love my ball caps but also the flat cap is a more grown up choice... even worn by celebrities like Brad Pitt. Facial hair, sunglasses and the color black are all strong statements that are universally cool regardless of hair...all contributes to self-confidence.
A handsome black dude is already a deal breaker 😎💪✌️
I lost my hair when I was 19.. hell of a card game 🤣
I have only one option clear shave head to facial which I am afraid 😭
How I can look younger or smarter....
Notifications work finally!
Awesome!
Ian GREAT, LoL!!! What are your thoughts of the video?
I'm not going bald for a while but I'm still here for some reason lol
But what to do when friends name call you as (bald, takla, ganja, etc) and that disgusting name tag becomes your permanent name for life, that's very traumatic
I'm not bald but I hate having long hair so I get a buzzcut, and I will say these tips totally work for those with shorter hair 👍
The thing I miss most about having hair is being able to let it grow and shave it whenever I felt like it.
Timely video. I’m not bald yet but growing the beard for the moment when it’s all gone up top 😉
Awesome! Glad you liked the video!
Rick Plybon Thanks for commenting!! How’s the beard coming along, any compliments?
The StyleJumper Coming along slowly. A few compliments but more surprise 😂
Rick Plybon LoL!! I’m sure it’s going to look great!! It took me a year to get to this length! Keep that puppy going!!!🕵🏾♂️👊🏾
Baldhead brother style... felt like you were talking directly to me.
JustJeff. Yes sir, that’s what I’m talking about!! Thanks for commenting!!

I love Isha's light green blazer. Once again great tips.
luckily i still got ma hair antonio, but imma still watch, if i go bald in the future, you never know
Haha, if you lose your hair - I've got you covered! :)
@@RealMenRealStyle hold up was that a pun, youve got me covered, haha
Sunny Goodman aka sunnythesinger Haha, you right point and pun!!!
And, you never know when or if that day comes so you may as well be prepared!🕵🏾♂️👌🏾
Lol same
I can't pull out the bald style, because my forehead on the upper sides is too wide due to receding hairline and my head shape is too oval on the sides of the top.
flat cap advice was spot on, i loved how i looked
I’m shaving everyday now..love it👊
Too much fucking work for me
Another outstanding video, mates!
Great tips as always 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Scalp Micropigmentation is a great non-surgical option!
Im currently balding and can only grow patchy facial hair D:
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing this
absolutely, skin good😳
Ive got a bald head, a beard and a pair of glasses...
IM A STYLE ICON 🤣🤣🤣🤣
A very interesting video, especially because I shave my head, I wear glasses and rock a goatee 😎
Thank you for the video. I shaved my head off and then tried to grow my hair long to cover both front and back bald spots. And im going back to bald or short hair after watching this video
The only thing that mattifies a bald head that I've found is Zero Shine by DermiMatch.
Omg He is the real Rock
People with deeper skin tones almost always look good bald 🙃
This is just another great video!
If it works on The Style Jumper or the rock I feel like it has to work... Even tho I'm not bald. Lol.
But still a great video and many great ideas.
Xavier Ax thanks for the comment and I’m really happy you enjoyed the video!!! You may like my channel as well, see you soon!🕵🏾♂️👌🏾
"Bald head, black, mixing agression with agression." I don't get what you are saying, because bald head nor black seems aggressive to me.
@Felix Butterfield I know that's what he meant. However, I don't think wearing black seems aggressive. When people go to a black tie affair, do we look at it as aggressive?
I shaved my head cause of thinning yesterday. Thank you for this
bro, ima shave my head tomorrow
@@braindamane How is it?
Re showing skin (open collars) - I'm 57, keep my head bald, and just lost a lot of weight (intentionally) - and I now rock V-neck tees. Even though advice is that older men shouldn't wear V's, I love showing off my newly-revealed old man's craggy throat muscles.
Shaved my hair off yesterday, it was so damaged and was getting a little thin. Thought I was gonna regret it but I really love it, and also I won’t have to buy shampoo or conditioner ever again!
i heard maintanence is way harder when your bald. . cuz now you gotta buy a million shaving products. . . let me know your experience cuz i wanna shave off mine soon :(
@@stephan7127 Not if you just buzz it with clippers without clipper attachment each weak. So 1 mm tall. Don't shave it, buzz it.
This actually made my day!
Before watching this video, I knew that it would be a great quality video
Edit: it was a great video. Also, I learnt that having a bald head is another way of saying that you're using shoe polish for your head and shining it.
Thanks! What sort of video would you like me to film next?
Bald men are the sexiest...go and rock 💪
