  • In this video I show how to crochet a scarf that looks like as if it was knitted. The pattern is both simple and complicated. The patterns consists of singles crochets, which are made by inserting the hook under the front lower loop.
This scarf would be suitable for men, women, or children.
You can make this scarf in any size you want, using yarn and hook of your choice.
    Materials I used:
Red Heart Super Saver Ombre yarn, color Deep Teal, 1 skien, 482 yards, 283 grams.
    Hooks sizes K (6.5 mm).
Finished measurements: about 62 inches long, 8 inches wide.
This yarn on Amazon (affiliate link): amzn.to/3STEL3k
For my scarf I started with 201 chain stitches.
This is a simple pattern, and you probably won't need it in written form. But if you'd like to support my crochet work by purchasing it, you can do it on Esty or Ravelry:

Or you can support my channel by purchasing any other crochet pattern form my Etsy or Ravelry shops:

Or you can buy me a cup of coffee or a skein of yarn: ko-fi.com/R6R6...
    Thank you!

Thanks for this pattern Olga! I am watching this video in a cold location with a little lap blanket over my legs that I made from this very yarn! "Budget" yarn can be useful and beautiful.

That's a different (lovely) way of working the single crochet, and I always love your stitch placement tips. I've been working on a list of single crochet stitches for a stitch sampler blanket and that will make a beautiful addition. Thank you 😊

Beautiful! I just need to let go of having a clean edge! 😂

Lol, yes! I tried this same pattern, but not making ch 1 in the beginning of each row. It does make the edge a bit more straight, but still not perfectly smooth/clean. I do have another video on how to make a perfectly straight edge, but that only works for traditional sc. ruclips.net/video/oopKEpDFVFc/видео.html
