Have had it for years, totally backed up. Tried more fibre, lots of water, fruit vegetables, prunes and the juice, every possible remedy. Still no movement, absolutely the worst thing ever. I have even tried raising my knees, still nothing.

I just left a comment regarding my diet. Now that I am on a plant based whole food diet, I no longer suffer from constipation. I found that if I eat a chicken leg, that will clog up my system. So, maybe try what I am now doing. I know that my system is very sensitive to meat and dairy. I found for me, as I got older, I could not continue eating the way I was as when I was younger.

This is so thoughtful of you, and I am so grateful for your incredible thoroughness, forthcomingness and your earnestness-you are the only video I’ve found that has been treating this as serious a problem as it is, and no silly jokes, silly music and flashy anything. My beloved friend of 48 years old has been dealing with stage 4 kidney cancer, on many drugs causing severe constipation and extreme pain. He’s falling and is so scared, so watching these other , cheerful videos are not a good match for the grave situation. You’re respectful of the experience people are dealing with. Thank you!

I found this vdo of urs so helpful at a time when my 86yo mum is about to be hospitalised for chronic constipation (she has a bowel movement once a week) but this week it was followed by severe diarrhoea & intestinal inflammation hence being admitted as she generally weakend. I usually have a large bowl of 6-7 mixed raw vege salad to fully evacuate my bowels when i have a rare constipation of 2 days as my bowel movement is regular. I'm mostly vegetarian but include 2 boiled eggs every alternate days. Though will start taking ur supplements for weight loss management as i recently had an oophorectomy & have hypothyroidism. Apart from ur usual exercise recommendations I found that yoga too has the same cardio effect as i sweat profusely through every pore (including face, head, hands & legs) after a 30 minute session & my heart rate climbs to 120-130. Its a full body workout that equals my occasional swimming bouts. Thanks for all ur recommendations & enlightening information & look forward to a much needed supplementation therapy.

Thank you Doctor! My cartiologist, endocrinologist and gastroenterologist all have wanted me to take protonics for years, and I refuse to because I do research and find one like you. Your knoledge and epertise is very helpful and confirms what I've told them--I need the aciid in my stomach to digest my food; to delute the acid will only make the problem worse.
I will follow you advice, as I have many of the daily problems that you describe; I'm lucky if I have a bowel movment once a weeks or so, and have often gone 12 days without one; then, all at once i'ts bad cramps and the bathroom for most of the morning, and I usually end up going through most of the depictions of the kinds of waste that I'm getting rid of. I'm 68, and finally retired, but whenever I have to go somewhere, for years, my first thought is "what if I have to go to the bathroom--It is very in mind and on my body.
I also never feel emptied and always have lots of gas, and often think I may prolapse my large intestine from having to push so hard--with nothing happening. I'm also going to listen to your SIBO video and suppect there is further valuable help for me, and it will probably further my stance on not taking protonics. I will also order your recommended suppliments and watch your other presentations.
    Thank you very much.

Watching from Cape Town, South Africa and I can confidently say that this is the only expert who has thoroughly explained everything I am going through accurately. I am just not sure what treatment plan I need to follow now. I have had constipation for almost a year now after discontinuing the use of some antibiotics and have been making lots of smoothies with apples, milk, pumpkin seeds, oranges and bananas. I thought the smoothies would help but apparently not. I was stressed studying for my M.A. and did a lot of traveling to different time zones across Africa in a few months. So it seems like I check all the boxes for someone doing everything wrong but I just want to treat this for good!

I then bombarded my system with high fiber foods such as prunes and beans and not only did my constipation get really painful and worse, but the smell was awful. I learned from your video that I simply did not have the hydration to handle the fiber so I went on a hydration diet the next day. The supplement she’s selling are so expensive. They are like triple the price they would normally be in a store like Walgreens or Walmart. Magnesium is very cheap and easy to find anywhere. My problem is I eat a lot of salads and fish and fruits and vegetables and I’m still constipated. if I don’t go running for two or three days in a row I’m really constipated and I feel like I’m always having to take some thing like Dulcolax, which then just makes me super dehydrated

Unicity's Nature Tea is a good affordable one that's gentle on the intestines, there's also Smooth Move (made in India from a herbal plant). I am 68 years old have suffered from constipation most of my life about four years ago. I started intermittent fasting a Paleo diet and then a ketogenic diet. I also took coffee enemas. I eat meat and tons of vegetables with low and slow carbs like sweet potatoes and beets. I don’t eat a lot of fruits because I want to keep my blood sugar low and not be insulin resistant. I work shiftwork nights three to four nights every two weeks, I do yoga, I ride my bike I walk bear foot, run, sprint do jumping jacks, I exercise, and I lift weights and most the time I can keep constipation at bay but now for no real reason my stools are hard lumpy and small. I drink warm water and I massage my stomach and finally got some relief but I think I might try your first three sets of protocol pills. I think I have suffered from Seebo in the past and that’s why I also drink apple cider vinegar and fast sometimes when I fast three or four days and also helps the constipation but this time it didn’t.

Some very good, useful information there, thank you. Digestive enzymes and magnesium helped me. One of the biggest causes of constipation is low stomach acid. For this apple cider vinegar/flaxseed oil/fish oil or vitamin C (or a combination of them) just before meals or a betaine hydrochloric acid tablet during meals can be beneficial. I also think for those people also suffering with chronic anxiety it may be an indicator that they are stuck in an anabolic state. In this case it is better to take magnesium/flaxseed oil and fish oil supplements early in the day and apple cider vinegar in the evening.

I would like to ask you this. From my research that i did back then i remember that high hydrogen it may means SIBO with diarrhea but i suffered and still suffer from constipation.

Please can you do a deep dive on "wear and tear" arthritis of the hip. Conventional doctors just say wait for it to get bad enough then have a hip replacement!
They tell my mother to rest and not move, but she will lose muscle. This time last year she was walking outdoors. Now still in her 50s, she's pain and getting less flexible and gaining weight.
No advice on diet, fasting, body muscle to fat ratio, exercise, gut health or supplements etc.
I feel taking high strength painkillers daily then other medications to mitigate the negative side effects of the painkillers on stomach and then layering that with advice to have a biscuit or toast doesn't seem to promote overall health. Pain management at any cost on full body health and quality of life.

I think your mom needs a new doctor, asap! CBD oil can be extremely effective for pain management. I have friends who use it for many kinds of pain. You can get it with no THC or trace amounts. I’d recommend no THC. Also, ingestible is usually more effective than topical but topical can be good too.
It breaks my heart that there’s so much pain med addiction and even just reliance out there - when CBD oil is so effective and has none of the badness of pharmaceuticals. If more people knew about it, it would crush the pharmaceutical industry. I hope this happens some day.
I hope your mom gets the help she needs. She’s lucky to have you! (I’m sure you’re lucky to have her too!) 😊
