Yummy seafood! Shrimp is a favorite go-to for me (I'm lucky enough to be able to buy fresh!) and Firecracker Shrimp is a fave. I can't wait to try your recipe - it's a little different from mine and I always love your recipes! Ditto for the crab cakes. For me, remoulade is the only way to go with crab cakes! Thanks, Annie!

Why is the salt content so high for the LMNT 1000g? Is that even healthy?
Exactly my thought.
If you're following a low-carb/keto diet and NOT on medications for fluid retention or high blood pressure then consuming between 2-3 grams of sodium per day is very healthy and may even be necessary to avoid keto flu. From personal experience, I was able to stop taking high BP meds (in fact it was required because my BP was too low) after like 3 months of low carb eating. LMNT also provides some potassium and magnesium. The 2-3 grams of sodium per day is an FDA recommendation and we probably need more but if you believe the food pyramid is upside down and the SAD diet frustrates you then you should take the FDA advise with a grain of salt. Oh yeah, that pun happened 🤣
If you're eating keto or carnivore, you need more sodium and electrolytes in general. Or even if you don't eat keto, if you're very active or are out in the hot sun, you need some extra sodium. And, yes, it's fine. The sodium scare is a little bit like the whole cholesterol thing - not like the alarmists believed. If you're unsure, try Google.
