Saying DLSS decreases lag is just lying and ignoring the higher frame rate.
DLLS is making your game faster so in a sence it does decreases your input lag. That like saying lowering your visual fidelity quality will not imporve your input latency. Or maybe I dont understand what are you trying to say :)

For everyone experiencing stutter, try limiting your frames and the experience will improve a lot
I have a low profile RTX 3050 with an i5 and it gets the job done nicely. And all together it was only about $400. You don't have to spend a lot to get a lot. You just have to know where to put the money.

You don’t even need the top notch to play. Depends on what resolution you want to play at. You can buy a solid pc for competitive gaming at 1080p or even 1440p under $1000
Back in the days of Xbox 360, I remember being perfectly happy with 30fps. However, once I experienced 60fps gameplay on PC, I found it impossible to go back. That said, I now avoid playing games at more than 60fps because I'm worried about becoming addicted to higher frame rates.
@@gibbs-13 I went to 144fps from 60fps, and 60fps is unplayable. It’s the exact same going from 30fps to 60fps.
@@aciditywormhole9898 Exactly. But imagine a situation where you bought an RTX 4090 this year, but in 2025, a new game you really really want to play doesn’t hit 144 fps for some reason, and you find yourself needing an RTX 5090 to achieve that performance.
@@gibbs-13 it’s not the PC, it’s the game developers. A 4090 is decades ahead. I wouldn’t worry about having to get a 5090 for a while. I can play BO6 with my 4090 at 144fps. In fact most games I can play max settings 4k at above 120fps.
Gaming been crazy on my 77 inch qd-oled tv and my 4090.

As a lonely pony I do not understand much of this but am learning a little. Personally I don't like to include pc's when I talk gaming because a pc is also so much more but it really is a good cool hobby and ofcourse the possibilities are endless so secretly a little envyess envious

I get intel HD graphics 4000 I can play on 5 fpy (frames per year)
I just upgraded from intel hd 4000 to rtx 4060 laptop and it's quite emotional for me to actually play and experience story games on PC Hope you get the glory brother ❤

I have a high end PC and black ops 6 still runs like shit and any type of input lag in a multiplayer shooter isn’t worth the extra frames believe me you will notice it

well the best GPU tech is nvidia cards, 2nd best would be Intel with XESS but they still have other issues, and then there is AMD which even Playstation's new PSSR beats FSR

Well first of all don’t turn on frame gen. But also I’m saying latency in the 60s early on in his testing and realistically 30 or lower is the standard. So 60 is kinda high. Plus he mentioned multiple GPUs but that motherboard can’t run two so I’m confused by the presentation of that info.
He meant that he used the same rig for testing by just swapping those two GPUs. So the only hardware variable that changes is a GPU.

@@tonyosorio4253 It is better to educate yourself about technology to understand how it works. Then there is no need to rely on such videos. The reality is that tolerance for latency level is different for everyone. And games are not targeting high end PCs. So if a game is not performing good on target devices, it is a fault of its developer.

@Fztrm AMD has radeon boost, this video also constantly claim that DLSS reduces input lag which is just false if you do not include the fact that it's running a higher frame rate due to a lower resolution.

Naughty Dog, Santa Monica and sucker punch are probably my top three gaming companies that make masterpieces when optimizing for pc. Everyone else just makes dog water ports then rely on frame generation technology

I spent 4k on a pc with an i914000k, 4080super, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd, I spent an extra 120 on 2tb ssd. And i still feel like i got a mid computer compared to half the people out there
