Just realized the Alaskan person is listed as 7’7” and 440 lbs lol. They’re built different up there 🥵
Gotta be hefty to survive Alaska!
My mom used to have that ID lol but it was older so it had less color iirc
It's a fake ID for a moose in a wig
Can’t spell Alaskan without ass🥵
You did MN dirty
I used to work at a bar in Washington State, and we were required to have an “ID Checking Guide” which was a little book that detailed the drivers licenses of ever US State, ever Mexican State and every Canadian Province with detailed descriptions of how to check it for authenticity, common signs of fakes, etc. and I remember thinking- the only thing this book is useful for is producing fake ID’s
A lot of times you hear about bouncers ripping or taking “fake ids” and they’re the real ids and they have to call the cops and all that it doesn’t seem like a fun job, i would be so mad if i realized a customer used a fake id and then when turned of age used the real one.
I'm a leap year baby and have heard many stories of other leap years getting their license taken (or just turned away) because "there aren't 29 days in February." 🤦♀️ I'm always worried that'll happen to me. So far, my only issue with this has been my first alcohol purchase. It was the 28th - which is when the state legally determined I was 21 since it was a non leap year. I celebrate on the 1st, so it was a fun "even though I'm technically legal, I feel like I'm cheating the system." Except...the system couldn't figure out what to do with my ID. They won't sell it in Ohio unless they can scan the bar code. When it was programmed I don't think they thought about that (wouldn't be the first time), so I was just SOL. My boyfriend bought it for us, since I *was* of legal age, but it sure took the wind out of my sails.
State flags would be an obvious next step, but I think it would be fun to do state quarters next!
Yes!!! There are so many unique ones! He could even do the state parks and other unique ones
STATE QUARTERS YESSS
State Quarters is a great idea. Would love to see that one
Quarters would be nice! I took an interest in them when I was younger and ended up collecting all of them. Although that was right around when they were changing them so my collection is half old designs and half new designs lol

If anyone’s curious about the pyramid on the Tennessee one: it’s literally a Bass Pro Shops in Memphis. Basically, it was built to be a venue for sports and stuff in the 90s, but it eventually got bought by Bass Pro and became a really weird tourist attraction/sporting goods store lmao
I'm also 90% sure that the icon he said looked like a lollipop is the Knoxville Sunsphere
Also the building to the left of the lollipop is the Chattanooga/Tennessee aquarium
That’s why it’s the best ID because it has the bass pro pyramid
Bass Pro isn't even from Tennessee
I thought it was the adventure science center in Nashville lol
The Hawaii license is so colourful not only is it wallet art but it also looks fake. It deserves its own category. Fake Wallet Art, or Hawaii lol
As someone from Hawaii I found it interesting just how much the color stood out compared to others. As a side note depending on the type of license the color differs. On regular licenses they are that red color but there is a purple one out there and the state ID version is green.
The Sample family must have to rent a whole state for their family reunions
My uncle used to work at a bar in Pennsylvania. Apparently New Jersey IDs used to be SO poorly made that for a period of time his bar refused to accept ANY New Jersey IDs regardless of them being real or not.
I was just old enough to remember when the drivers license IDs were super bad quality when I was a kid, and noticed they were basically on par with high school IDs when I got there (basically typed form with a simple form background, with a sort of double sided clear plastic sticker placed on top). Decent odds related, with the tag agencies either encouraged/forced to donate or selling cheap to schools when had to upgrade to something actually taking more than trivial effort to fake.
The card quality is really bad now too. Until 2020, the license was printed on a thick plastic card, thicker/harder than credit cards. Now it's really thin (think of it as a slightly more durable health insurance card) and the holograms/shiny things aren't too obvious.
You used to be able to change the year on a New York license with a red colored pencil
Scott has secured support from the entirety of the maryland people for generations to come. The moment he said he fucked with our flag we were willing to die for him if he asked
I was just on the edge of my seat to see if he made Maryland lifelong enemy or for.
I'm only here to see his MD take
He is now in The Cult
the Hagerstown branch supports this declaration
I skipped ahead to see what his take on Maryland was, and then after he got my approval, I went back to watch the rest of the video.
My only defense for Massachusetts [hi Connor!] is that that silver bird in the center is actually holographic. It looks cool in person.
I'd like to throw in something that a lot of people miss. As someone who checks IDs on a daily basis I know that a lot of states have some amazing hidden UV designs that you can only see under UV light. Maybe you could rank those sometime
Yeah! I would like to see other people’s. In Alaska, you can see snowflakes in the UV light.
Yes! Was going to say my favorite part of ID cards in the UV design.
Facts
some have little perforations in the corners too with designs. Kansas has an adorable hidden turtle that shows up if you hold it to the light.
Or holographic, raised lettering, transparent parts
As a recent holder of a Minnesota license, I support the fake ID rating. They can be folded practically in half, they’re so flimsy. I nearly had it rejected at a bar in MA.
I had a bouncer practically bend my MN ID in half to check if it was fake. Left a permanent crease. I still love the pine trees and little fishing boat.
It sucks because at least some of these have cool reflective/iridescent effects on them in person to help prevent fraud. On Minnesota's we have a sick loon 😂 I imagine that's what Scott is seeing when he complains about the images that seem to have weird lines/distortions over the ID photo! ❤
Oregon has a holographic bird flying (western meadowlark, I would guess) away from a branch and an outline of the state with counties behind it, it's pretty elaborate!
Edit: the branch is probably an Oregon grape
We have a lil whale in CT that you can see if you hold it up to the light
Yeah you can't really appreciate the entire design of an ID without being able to see it in person and tilt it in the light to see those effects. I agree that the loon on the Minnesota ID is pretty cool.
Missouri has stars over ours in gold, silver, and green lol
@@abbyxoxo48hello other person from ct:)
Scott became a dad and started making videos ranking gum and license plates. And honestly I'm here for it, heartwarming
SCOTT!! please do this with state QUARTERS! i love seeing the unique designs, my fave is the 2020 national park of american samoa please shout it out if you like this suggestion :)
yes!
Good idea
yes please
YES I love the bats! It's a shame they came out during the pandemic though; I worked at a grocery store at the time, and heard a lot of people call them Corona quarters :/
@@wiccanworm NOOOO that’s so sad :( the bat quarter became my obsession during quarantine (don’t judge it was a hard time for everyone LOL) and i collected 5. one time i didn’t have enough money for a full tip at a coffee shop i used to go to every day, so i offered one of my sacred bat quarters to make it up for that one day.
WELL. the barista that day happened to FREAKING LOVE BATS and had never seen the quarter before. she loved it. she said she’d rather have that than an actual tip. it was so nice to give up a prized possession to someone who really cherished it :’)
The shapes at the top of the Tennessee license are depictions of notable structures from the skyline of each of the four largest cities in the state. The Memphis Pyramid, AT&T Building in Nashville, Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, and the Sunsphere in Knoxville.
I never really looked at my license, so I didn't think I would care as much as I did when Scott disrespected it lol. The Pyramid may be a Bass Pro now, but when I was a kid, it was a museum too. It went through some changes over the years before it became a Bass Pro. That being said, they made it a tourist attraction inside. They did a really great job with the space. They have a mini 'lake' in the center that you have to walk on bridges to navigate with boats they're selling floating in the water. They have the lodge, an outdoors style hotel. Its stupid, but it looks fun lol. They also have the bowling alley, the restaurant, and the ride to the top is worth the price imo, because you can see the Memphis Skyline.
I'm not saying people should come to Memphis for the Bass Pro, but if you happen to be passing through and have some time. Check it out.
Yo, since you’re listening to people’s suggestions... tier list for state birds? Flowers? Food? Mottos? This can be an incredible series with so many symbols people don’t really think about.
Weird thing I learned after living in Ohio and moving to North Carolina- states can have the same state bird. Both OH and NC has the cardinal as their state bird, I guess there might even be other states with the cardinal too!
@@vivianvoss7599cardinal is like the most common. There are SEVEN states with the same bird. Illinois, indiana, kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Also New Jersey and Iowa both have the Eastern Goldfinch.
@@vivianvoss7599There’s 7 (?)
@@Jellybeansatduskand western meadowlark. It’s a great bird but come on…
@@Jellybeansatduskalso Maine’s is just the “chickadee” so a lot of birders up there think it should be the Boreal Chickadee rather than either Black-capped or Boreal
For Anyone Wondering About the Ohio-North Carolina Debate,Ohio Is Called the Birthplace Of Aviation Because It's the State Where the Wright Brothers Were Born. Technically North Carolina Can Also Have This Title,Since the First Airplane WAS Invented By the Wright Bros There.
Excuse me, born?
You mean they lived their whole life? Where they owned the business that created their flyer? 😅
They built the plane in Ohio that they used for first flight in North Carolina
In defense of Florida, a lot of that clutter is due to the holographic images on the license which can only be seen when viewed from an angle. It doesn't typically look like that and isn't really cluttered.
I was looking for someone to say this. Thanks for your service 🙏 FL!
Florida id looks so fake! Even in person. I used to immediately take it the black light when I saw Florida IDs
Yeah mine looks almost completely different
@@bk4698my old Florida driver's license doesn't look like that. Although the new Georgia one I have I agree it's interesting
Yes I love the secret photo
It’s weird to know that the people used in the sample license photo have their own driver’s licenses that look like the sample license cards.
Love the editor’s note at 7:52 ! As an editor myself I love when channels let editors add lil tidbits of personal experience into videos like these
i think he edits his own videos
@@jomamateyodad the description would indicate otherwise. Also… the time stamp, where the editor says they’re from Georgia
@@jomamateyodad He usually does but this one and the license plate one were edited by someone else (according to the descriptions). Seems like it’s maybe just a second channel thing? Either way it was fun 😆
@@ODISeth my bad he usually edits them himself i didn't read the description
@@jomamateyodad haha no worries! A lotta big creators use their second channels to experiment with hiring editors. Gives them an opportunity to see what a given editor has to offer without risking the performance of their main channel. Plus it means they can put overall less work into the secondary channel by offloading that work to someone else. Everyone I edit for so far only has one channel so I haven’t done much editing for secondary channels, but it’s a pattern I’ve seen a lot from my other editing buddies
8:08 Hawaii has the best drivers license because of Mclovin.
“vermont looks like it’s stuck in the past” scott you just described our entire state lmao
The Oregon ID is holographic too in person. So when you move it around you see different things that pertain to Oregon. It’s so much prettier than the old ID design.
Yeah the new design is so much nicer than the old one, now you can see all of the counties and the state bird, looks so nice on a fresh liscence.
LMAO I had a Missouri fake ID when I was in college and I went into a liquor store and when I was carrying my 24 pack of Modelo and 12 White Claws an undercover ATF walked up to me and asked for my ID and I gave him my fake Missouri one and the first thing he said was “Really, Missouri? How much you get this thing online for?”
Is this why TSA loses their damn minds over my MO ID when I'm outside of the state?
I like the MO ID 😭 it felt like an upgrade from VA’s
An Oklahomie here. I didn’t fully know what the symbol on the our license is so here’s a snippet from the Wikipedia page of the Oklahoma flag that describes the sigil.
The flag of Oklahoma consists of a traditional Osage buffalo-skin shield with seven eagle feathers above the word Oklahoma in white on a Choctaw sky blue field. The buffalo shield is covered by two symbols of peace: the Plains-style ceremonial pipe representing Native Americans, and the olive branch representing European Americans. Six golden brown crosses, Native American symbols for stars, are spaced on the shield.
I was SHOCKED at the black and white photo for DC. Despite being black and white it's high quality and you can see the person's features. My NY black and white photo looks like it was taken on a tin can and the camera was so close to my face it doesn't even look like me lol. Also I'm wondering if all the pics are a little more saturated because the NY license is definitely more muted in real life
The black and white photos are for face mapping, computers have an easier time face mapping the black and white photos which is why they use them. I live in Virginia and we use the same technology.
As an Oregon ID holder, I appreciate being considered "Wallet Art" in your eyes, Scott. And, definitely adding to the countless others saying, there's tons of little details that you might be missing on a lot of these ID's! Here's another fun fact about Oregon's ID's: We have unique, vertical cards for kids under 21, so that's extra easy for cashiers and such to see that the person presenting ID is too young to purchase alcohol or cigs or whatever.
Indiana and Michigan also do the vertical cards for people under 21 idk if the rest of the states do too but they should i think its a neat feature
im pretty sure the vertical card thing is something every state does lmao
i live in oregon and i got my drivers license the beginning of the year and since im under 21 but over 18, its vertically BUT it doesnt expire till 2033 so i already know imma be double checked ALOT
yeah colorado does this too
Oklahoma is tight. Don't push me, Scott!
The symbol is of a buffalo hide shield, eagle feathers, peace pipe, and olive branch. It represents nature, native Americans, and European settlers.
I think it's weird to have the peace pipe on there when Oklahoma is the state version of the slums that Nazis forced Jewish people into, so the Nazis could call Jewish people dirty
As a certified Oklahomie, you are correct!
Our logo is sick as hell, but our Driver's license is just a picture of the capital to be fair. Even the oil derrick is actually on the front lawn, lol.
I actually really like our flag though. Puts that logo front and center
Idaho licenses look nice, When I went to California a store clerk said that our state IDs look nice lol
When Scott went “f you” and then immediately started giggling and apologized, my heart smiled. That was so wholesome, sweet, and deeply Scott.
I wouldn’t watch anyone else make this video. I wouldn’t find it entertaining, but you, Scott, make everything you touch fun. You bring a child-like joy and wonder to the world. Thank you!
The lines and marks over the faces (and any weird out of place lines) are probably where holographic, reflective, or off-angle stuff is printed/stickered on. Since they're just still images they look weird, but you were right about it being there to make it "harder" to replicate. Like the Florida license, the grayscale picture overlapping the ID photo is meant to be viewed off angle or under the right lighting conditions, and is just barely there when looked at directly.
In Michigans’ defense, there’s an “MICH” made from tiny holes on the ID that let light shine though, and there’s two more silvery blue pictures of the bridge when the license catches the light just right at the bottom of the license. It’s a bit bridge heavy though.
As a Michigander, I’m not sure these are actually very redeeming maybe even proves his point lmaooo
@@brittm7777 As a Michigander, I don't care what we gotta say to prove Ohio is not on par let alone above us xD
felt so wrong that michigan was anywhere other than government issue. like my license feels so generic.
@@mollystringer6273 holy heartedly agree with this
I think our ID is plain and like… shouldn’t they be??? It’s so jarring to see these other designs that look like an arts and crafts project.
As a Kansan i was legit on the edge of my seat “I don’t know if i’m rocking with Kansas” 😂
WE ARE SO BLESSED FOR ANOTHER SCOTT VIDEO
YOU ARE A BOT
amen 🙏
it's concerning to me how much i care about scott liking my state's license as if it's validation for my worth as a human lol
Thank you for putting the new CO license in wallet art, we really need the support because TSA hates us. The new Colorado license (within the last year) is notoriously impossible for TSA to auto-scan and they have to enter it manually. It happens to me every single time I go to any airport. So we appreciate the love.
Went to school in CO and still have my license from then, I liked the subtlety of the old one more
this happened to me recently at the airport and they asked me for another form of identification. thank goodness i had my passport with me. after the incident i was thinking what if i didn’t have my passport with me. would they just not let me through security?? because they acted like they had exhausted all options and i was apparently holding up the line
You use your licence at the airport?
@@rachelcookie321 i’m guessing you’re not american. i’m gonna go ahead and estimate that at least 90% of americans use their drivers license at the airport
@@Erin49694 I live in New Zealand. You can use a credit card for ID with domestic flights but you don’t always need to show ID and you don’t need to show ID if you check in online. I went on a school trip when I was 14 and because I was 14 the only ID I had was a passport but I didn’t bring my passport and no one else brought ID either, we didn’t need it. I think a lot of my friends didn’t even have passports though so they had no forms of ID because they were too young for a driver’s licence.
As an Oregonian, the licenses are new. It used to be a plain white license with a blurry version of that building and a weird Neapolitan looking block on the right. I’m looking forward to renewing my license because the new ones do look very pretty.
Do state flags or state seals next! 🇺🇲
State seals would be dope
I wish while talking about these things he would mention more about how native American culture and colonization culture have affected the way things are
@@christinewarden3450I think that would be a over analysis on a otherwise silly Scott Cramer video.
@@christinewarden3450Even though it would be nice, but it’s a fun silly series and it doesn’t have to be that deep.
@@TexanFlag no it's him being white otherwise not knowing or caring enough to add the context I like scottcramer but he is just too white, so much of a America's history and culture is native American and he just kind of leaves the thousands of years of culture out for the 300 he can relate too
The worst is the old Delaware design where they stuck the birthday in the very bottom right corner, where your thumb will definitely cover it. Just picture it half an inch lower and 2/3 the size in black ink, then picture the line of people trying to get 18+ wristbands at a con and stuck waiting for me to figure out the birthday is under my thumb. It was designed by a sadist.
As somone who just found there lost drivers license today, this could not have come out at a better time
If you hold the illinois drivers license up to the light, you can see an outline of the state through small perforations. I quite like it.
I'll have to ask my Illinoisian Uncle to show me his next time he comes down. I'd love to see that.
You should do Canada’s license plates, only because there’s one in particular that will make you lose your mind. Trust me.
Is it the polar bear one? It’s gotta be the polar bear one
Yes!! And drivers licenses in the same video! I noticed recently that the BC one has hidden details under a black light which is really cool
I am from the nwt and you can actually find valid license plates with single or double digit numbers. They don't give them out any more but you can keep the low digits if you want.
I want to see him do Canadian licenses/plates so bad
please scott !
As a New Mexican, we’re often forgotten about, so it was honestly a huge win that we got ranked so highly.
Tennessee has the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid in Memphis. The "lollipop" is in my hometown, Knoxville. It's called the Sunsphere and was created for the 1982 World's Fair.
in simpsons lore its now the wig shpere home of the wod fir 😆
@@subparnaturedocumentary , truth. :-D
And the Batman building! Lol
@@Minerdee , I almost said that!
I had to comment the same thing about the lollipop. Lol Don’t know if you live here now, but what’s up neighbor?
The portion around the tiny portait was clear and you could see through it with the previous Virginia licenses, it was even cooler than the current version.
Both with the license plate and the driver’s license Ive been like “I don’t know about all these ones he’s calling art.” But then he makes Georgia (my home state) pure art and I immediately decide “you know what, this guy knows what he’s talking about”. 😅
Same 😂
As a Georgia resident, I can say we all appreciate you for liking our ID! Also in my opinion the plant you mentioned is probably a reference to old textile mills that were located in the Fall Line cities like Columbus and Augusta.
Especially since our ID was recently updated within the last few years. I can’t believe I used to love the old ones so bad compared to this one😂😂
If you google "what arkansas deal with diamonds" is that "The answer might surprise you. Arkansas's Crater of Diamonds State Park is one of the only diamond-producing sites in the world where the public can search for diamonds in their original volcanic source." cool.
Aviation nerd here, the plane on Connecticut’s license is an F4U Corsair, which is a WW2 naval fighter plane. The wing isn’t broken, it was designed with that kind of bend to allow for more clearance between the ground and the bottom of the propeller, as well as some other aerodynamic differences. That kind of bent wing style is called a gull wing, and is found on quite a few different aircraft, many for different reasons :)
@1:47 whoever did the lettering on alabama this way was clearly a huge metallica fan 🤘
Nothing made me more hype than Scott calling my states license wallet art
As far as fake id’s go, a friend of mine from college recently got a new drivers license issued from her home state of New Jersey, and the flimsiness and low quality of their new driver’s licenses have actually gotten her denied drinks before at bars in Georgia and Florida because they think it’s fake.
As an Okla’homie’, yes your joke was very original Scott… lol let me fill you in. The symbol on our ID is the symbol on our flag. It’s an Osage nation Buffalo skin shield covered in 6 crosses which represent stars and adorned with 7 eagle feathers. Across it is a ceremonial peace pipe and olive branch which represents Native Americans and white people coming together as one. Also if you hold it up to the light you can see an outline of a bison which I think should bump it up at least to the ‘jealous’ tier
The highly anticipated sequel!
It's not until you're sitting around waiting for Oklahoma that you realize how MANY M and N states there are.
The little symbol is the state crest, it's a peace pipe, an olive branch, crossed on top of a native american shield. It represents peace between Europeans and Natives
Georgia is the new Hollywood. HUGE production state. All the Marvel films are made there.
The dots and lines in Iowa and other licenses are to help prevent duplication. Also at least Iowa's license has many holographic aspects that make it look better. Including the state flower.
As a European, I love those videos! I had no idea that there were so many differences.
each state is like their own country, They have their own laws, flags, anthems, Constitution, state defense force, education system, and government
Yeah each state is like a tiny (sometimes not so tiny population wise) country. In the case Hawaii (my state) it was at one point it's own country.
16:19 - The way you said "New Hamshire!?" reminds me of Bill Murray in the movie "What About Bob?" He says it in the exact same way!
flags and quarters would both be good this series is surprisingly entertaining lol
what you can't see is all the reflective parts and Oregon's is beautiful! it has like an eagle flying and the entire state's district's in reflective lines, its SO pretty
I wonder if the models for these pictures have to sign an agreement to not use it as a fake ID
In defense of the Tennessee license, it has the 7th largest pyramid in the world on it which is also a Bass Pro Shop in Memphis
Okay but next you should actually do the "Welcome To X State" billboards
Fun fact about MS licenses. If you have a regular (class R) or light commercial (Class D), the writing is green, if you have a CDL (Class A-C) the writing is red instead of green. Yes, my license is a Class A and it's red writing
It’s hilarious hearing Scott tell people to “cut out” parts of some licenses. Those are actually a really cool anti-fraud methods where if you hold the license up to the light, those micro holes will actually show up and you see the shape. Texas’ old licenses used to have one in the shape of Texas, and I thinks that’s the only thing I’m sad about the new ones from Texas.
Same I miss the little Texas shape on my old ID
I can tell you two thing as an Alaskan. One, we’re proud of our state (hence all the Alaskan symbols like the moose and Denali on the license) and two, we are in fact built different.
blessed with 2 fantastic scott videos in one weekend!
The Tennessee pyramid is the largest Bass Pro Shop probably
You should do all the Canadien provinces liscence plates and their driver’s license in one video because we only have ten provinces so it would all still be less than one US tier list
i’m so happy to see the love for the maryland flag, as a marylander we are very proud of it and will find an excuse to put it on anything
🤘🏼 yes
Yep! And have you seen the Maryland digital drivers license? If you haven’t: it’s a holographic Maryland flag as the background with a huge blue crab in the middle. It’s awesome.
Do a tier ranking of the fake names on the licenses
and pictures
5:20 Scott calling the F4U's wing, "broken" hurt me.
For those that don't know, the F4U Corsair was a carrier aircraft during WWII, and since aircraft carriers are cramped, the wings on the planes needed to be folded to make room, so that divot in the wing is for folding.
I love that everyone's eyes are bro's. Friendship is magic.
I sat there with Arizona and was like "What is this frat sample license?" It then clicked with me that it meant brown. To be fair, my eyes are hazel and I just realized that my hair color isn't on my license (?).
@@OliveDasi I personally think it's a little silly to put hair color on your driver's license anyway because it's so easy to change
The “lollipop” on Tennessee is the Sun Sphere at the Worlds Fair Park in Knoxville TN
You've gotta list every state's drivers now, every single one
Neat things with the Colorado license are the second portrait is holographic (hold at one angle for photo, tilt for date of birth, an icon in that corner changes too), and there's a hidden design across the whole thing visible under black light.
OK in Florida's defense the license does not look like that in person 😂
i just got my colorado license renewed and i gasped at how pretty it is. there is even a little lenticular hatch chile pepper in the corner. a work of art indeed
(although i was promised a dinosaur and there is not a dinosaur.)
You were close on the animal on the Arizona license, it’s actually just called a ringtail. They’re pretty cool animals and not very well known
I have an Arizona license and I didn't know that's what was on there.
Isn’t it a lemur or type of one
Totally random, but was the way you said "New Hampshire" a reference to "What About Bob?" The intonation sounded like how Bill Murray says it in one scene.
Now do state flags 😂 Love your videos!!
Bless his heart he does not know that each one of those elements is an architectural icon from each major Tennessee city. Pyramid was where the griz played in Memphis next to that is supposed to be the Batman tower in Nashville in Chattanooga that is the Tennessee Aquarium and the lolipop the Sunsphere in Knoxville if your from Tennessee this is DOPE!
So when are you going to do the welcome signs to the state
yes!
AZ GANG WE HERE . also that’s the old license design we just got new updated ones like a year ago . I like both the new and the old tho
If I had a nickel for every time Scott uploaded a video about something related to legal driving right around the same time I was going through the same processes, I'd have two nickels.
“Ima Cardholder” is the California licence holder and I love it
Man, can you imagine being an indigenous person in South Dakota and having to see Mount Rushmore everyday on your license? That's rough
We are asserting dominance. It's the driver's license equivalent of T-posing.
@@redknight8215 asserting dominance over indigenous people...? Why...?
You’re absolutely right Scott, the animal on Arizona’s license is a Ringtail. Actually.
Scott was way too positive in this haha many of these were way too boring to be ranked so high!
The symbol on the Oklahoma license is our state flag and it’s a nod to all of the indigenous tribes and our peace/unity with them. The blue on the normal background of the flag was inspired by the Choctaw flag.
You forgot to look at the backs! The Texas one has the Gonzalez (Come and Take It) for a little piece of history.
you should tier rank how pleasing the state counties are. like ranking how beautiful the counties are arranged in the state.
I can only hope that the pyramid on the Tennessee license is for the Bass Pro Shops pyramid.
it is, i don’t think there’s a giant pyramid anywhere else in tennessee that could’ve gone under anyone’s radar 😭
The best part about the new oregon ones is they are super duper holographic and shiny. You can’t see it in the photo but there’s a bunch of cool images printed over the license that you can only see in certain lights.
For Nevada, that picture that you said was a ferris wheel kinda is, but that entire thing was the las Vegas strip. Also, the date on it was 1864 since that was the year the state was entered into the US. Battle born is because we became a state during the civil war.
him not knowing it was the Strip hurt me
As someone who works at a hotel, this is greatly appreciated
Honestly hurt by how you categorized Michigans license. We at least deserve to be considered governement issued.
Seriously, there’s nothing wrong with it lol
Native Oklahoman here. The emblem in the top left hand corner of our licenses is a shield belonging to the Osage tribe. The shield also appears on our state flag. The shield is meant to represent our warrior spirit and Native American heritage. On top of the shield there are two symbols that represent peace: an olive branch and a peace pipe.
