    Thank you for the intro. Honestly our bodies are all very different. Some people have to really kill themselves to get down to a certain size or weight and it’s just not sustainable. So I appreciate hearing this sane approach honestly.

    Thank-you so much for that intro, I agree with everything you said, it is not about being skinny for me, or a magic number on the scale that I may never achieve. It is about how I feel, my energy for chasing around my grandkids, and just being here for them for many more years.

  • @LadyDiXO

    This is probably the most realistic and more attainable way to maintain this healthy lifestyle. Too many of us sacrifice ourselves into these strict diets and then for the most part we fall back. I really like your approach. This is definitely more attainable in the long run!

    I don’t warm my oats and I usually add less milk and add frozen tropical fruit in it and then put in fridge overnight. Oh I also add some ground flaxseed and a little chia to it. I dont count those points, I only use like a teaspoon of each. The frozen fruit thaws and creates more liquid and sweetness. Use everything else like you did. I also sometimes use ffGreek yoghurt, equal amounts of milk, oats and yogurt.

    First time watcher. I am 65 and for various health reasons I am on hydrocodone and even though I am already heavy, I just gained 10 pounds. I suddenly feel hungry after so many years of barely eating once a day. This gives me an idea of what I should eat. Thank you. I did subscribe so I can continue to watch your uplifting message. I am going to take my body on a walk and come home to eat some oatmeal with blueberry.

    I'm so glad I found your channel. My sister and I are doing WW together and she is losing much faster than me because she doesn't live the same lifestyle as I do and she's much heavier than I am. She gets angry with me that I'm not losing as fast her. I want to have a balance between living and being healthy. I do work out consistently, but have type 2 diabetes and found it very difficult to lose weight. It just makes me feel better to see someone is so beautiful, who took their time, and looks at this as a lifestyle change and not a sprint. I don't feel like I can date at this point, but I will get there.

    I like my oats cold of the morning. I have not used PB powder in them, but I usually add frozen blueberries and cinnamon to mine. I have also used frozen cherries and almond flavoring instead of vanilla.

  • @Tree-ot2dh
    @Tree-ot2dh 3 года назад +2

    Frozen fruit in your overnight oats adds incredible flavor and natural sweetness. Cinnamon is also a fantastic addition. My go to combos are blueberry, peach or a combo with vanilla and cinnamon. I use coconut sugar as an extra sweetener.

    Also called the Eton Mess, we in South Africa only have the Old Points for Success available to us. So I mix 100g double cream yoghurt with 30g Oats, half cup almond milk, vanilla and a bit of sweetener. Then layer it with a mixed berry compote which I made with Xylitol and boiled it down to a Jam consistency. I layer all that, top it with half a banana en a crumpled up meringue. It comes to 6 points but fills up really well. I will try the peanut butter. again nog PB here. Thanks for sharing.

    I love and share your attitude regarding WW and your mindset with in the first part of the video. Regarding the oats - I think you can do them hot or cold. One of the things about them is they can be grab and go in the morning so if you like them cold then that makes it so much easier if you're on the go. The fajitas look great! And cheers to those of us who do not count the morning coffee!!

    Thank you so much for the real talk in this video. I technically have 15-20lbs to get to my original goal weight and it has been hard mentally because the scale fluctuates back and forth. I've lost 110lbs and I feel the best and strongest I ever have. I too have learned to love exercise and have a healthier relationship with food. I've stopped obsessing over what the scale says. Hi Olivia...i appreciate you sharing a realistic perspective on this lifelong battle so many of us are engaged in. I hate that I've beholden myself to numbers on a scale. I eat quick oats almost every morning (our compliments brand usually...160 calories for half a cup) Did you know that Sobeys also sells a syrup called Steeves? it is 1.5 calories for 1/4 cup or 4 tbsps. I usually put that on the oatmeal or something called "berry jello". I found it on Amanda Lewis' channel. Just a pkg of sugar free jello sprinkled over 2 containers of crushed raspberries and some blueberries....so so good.

    Couldn’t have said it better 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I’m five feet tall and lost 80 pounds. I was 130 and when I got pregnant with my son I was considered “obese” on the weight gain chart because at five feet they wanted me 110-115 and it’s just not where I am comfortable. I totally agree also on the slow process. It took me about two years as well to loose it all but I started working out after the first 30 and it became a 5-6 day a week thing that I actually looked forward to! It was the #1 thing that I was disappointed about when I got pregnant with my son is that I was so sick I couldn’t work out and now I feel like I’m at the bottom of the mountain again looking up. However, I continued doing ww during the week and had fun on the weekends pregnant and I only have 12 pounds to loose since having my son. WW has changed my life and anyone who is discouraged with it just keep trying and watch RUclips videos and get new recipes and in 6 months you’ll look back and be shocked at how far you’ve come ❤️

    Thank you for this. I am also unsure if I am still aiming for the WW goal weight, since that’s arbitrary and dictated by BMI only. I have lost 35ish lbs and feel great. The very top of my range per WW would mean 20+ more lbs to lose. That would be hard for me. My doctor says I should aim for whatever is relatively easy and enjoyable to maintain. We shall see. Congratulations on your success ❤️

    How much flour did you put on chicken?
    FYI add non fat yogurt to your VM overnight; about 1/4 or 1/3 cup. Also can add frozen fruit; I love blueberries.

    I’m new to weight watchers and new to your channel. I’ve only seen a few of your videos before I came across this one. Honestly, I think your gorgeous. You look like a model to me, you have the perfect body. You may not be super thin but you’re shapely in all the right places. I’m on the opposite side of the spectrum I’m a super small person at 5’1” with tiny bone structure. We’re all made different and weight looks different on all of us. You look amazing, you carry your weight beautifully, keep it up.
