It's really a big surprised for me to discover that both of the village and city has connection with Khaenri'ah. Not only that, I think they are related to "Aaru" or maybe the real Aaru Village. In the middle of between Ruin of Dahri and Valley of Dahri there's a large canyon walls/structures where the current Aaru village is. Perhaps the bottom of the place Duat Hall is connected to "Aaru"/Khaenri'ah. It's kinda sus if u ask me. If we explore down the ruins, some of the parts somehow can be seen similar to mining places in The Chasm and there's a bunch of hilichurl lying around there. They are not moving but looks like they still breathing. Another thing that i'm theorizing about is i think the curse that has been applied to Khaenri'ah's people is actually Eleazar. Eleazar as we all know, caused by the withering of Irminsul since the tree is currently "sick". Irminsul = Ley Lines/Memories. To me, the whole genshin game is based on the ley lines. If there's ever anomaly in the ley lines, all hell breaks loose. I feel like, there will somehow be another nail from Celestia placed right in the middle where the current huge sandstorm is in front of(?) Khaj-Nisut. It's just all makes sense, they learn forbidden knowledge naturally that will make Celestia mad. Maybe the ongoing sandstorm throughout the desert is caused by that place. @@roozeveltfox I think that sandstorm might be the ruins of Ay-Khanoum (the civilization founded by the Scarlet King and the Goddess of Flowers) that for some reason was destroyed-likely by a Celestia nail! The beta maps for that region also show a chasm-like crater.

Khanriah was probably searching for the ways to defend from Abyss and it seemed like they didn’t bother any nation at all, nor did anyone mind them. Also, maybe Gold used some “forbidden knowledge” they found from remains of OG/Shades civilisation, also I think they were deeply involved with Pre-archon-war Deshret’s desert civilisation because of the technology they share with Enkanomiya (the invisible walls and such) and Dain said that the city under Chasm resembles Khanriah’s architecture. Also/also Guizhong experimented on Feild Tillers so..maybe she was also helping them to improve their defence since we know she made Ballista? Overall, I think they were overrun by the abyss somehow at one moment and thats why they had to be nuked..and the siblings, the twins may have something to do with it. Because, Dain and our twin traveled across Teyvat, and why tf would Royal family, Eclipse, let this Captain of Royal guard just go on this journey with this random blonde dude/girl? And we know that Dain was In Khanriah during Cataclysm since he gave last order to Royal Guards? Some real plot holes/and time line is messed up there..

Most ppl think we meet her when we try to escape Teyvat 500 years ago, so this leads me to believe that the similarities between Eleazar and the Khaenri'ah curse exist because they are the same celestial illness. Eleazer isn't as horrific because that boom of forbidden knowledge is from 1000, way before Khaenri'ah even existed, so what happened in the desert was probably one of Celestia's earliest punishments on humans for their thrist of banned wisdom, therefore Eleazer was just the free trial/first strike from the gods to the people.

Did you catch how Anfortas was described as Marshall Regent? I left a screenshot of the line in the comments section of the wiki article on the Alberich Clan

I have always wondered, though, if there's meaning in the fact that in desert golem it's "marshal regent" and in the Devantaka golem it's "knight marshal," as the the former would have come first (based on the timeline with Hadura). Like, I don't know why if he's a regent, he'd be marshal regent first and then knight marshal? That said, I do super vibe with the idea that Anfortas is an Alberich, especially given that the Schwanenritter fought the abyss and also the Alberichs tried to regain Khaenri'ah's glory!

And since Kaeya's family were *regents* that immediately caught my eye (re: Kaeya and regents, it could also be a situation like Gondor in LotR where Irmin was a historical king and revered as a quasi-religious figure and the regents are the default rulers until a heir shows up )

I think you're probably about the best lore source on RUclips but there's a mistake in the video at 7:08 the text is correct but that message has a title of "Incomplete Medical Records". Not "Akademiya Investigation Team's Report". In other words the record of people turning into Hilichurls is from the crew 500 years ago not from more recently investigating long dead corpses ... well they wouldn't have corpses or be dead if they were Hilichurls of course.
