Here's the truth Israel as a nation had to be baptized in water according to mark 1616 they had to be baptized this was according to the gospel of the Kingdom but there were a few times where Jesus Christ forgave sin without water baptism because he is able to do this he has the authority from God to forgive them their sins there was a man who they brought in through the roof of a house and laid him before Christ Christ forgave him his sin as well as gave him the ability to walk again. But the gospel of the Kingdom which was going on during the time of Christ and after Christ for one year made it so Israel had to become a nation of priests now it was prophesied that Israel needed to come back to God in order for his Gospel of the Kingdom to be preached throughout all the world but after the one-year extension of Mercy had ended. The gospel of the Kingdom started to fade out as the gospel of the grace of God start to come in the middle wall of partition that separated Jews from Gentiles shadow and a new gospel was revealed to Saul of Tarsus you see the thief on the cross did not get forgiveness of his sin he was given remission of his sin remission means you can get it again it's like having cancer if you're in remission you can still get the cancer again if it shows up but you're just in remission. This is why in Romans 3 Paul says that the circumcision has to endure but the uncircumcision is saved through the faith of Jesus Christ so we're saved through the Faith of Christ they're saved by Keeping the Faith and enduring till the end according to prophecy so they as a nation can get the Forgiveness according to prophecy right now there is no such thing as that right now right now it's faith alone without any works there is no baptism required in the flesh because that was connected with prophecy but we are saved according to the revelation of the mystery. There's a lot of verses to go over but I'm pretty sure that should answer everyone's questions we are save today by faith back then there was a lot going on remember the New Testament didn't start until the death of the testator but the New Testament does not start the New Covenant the New Covenant doesn't start until after the tribulation of those days which is the time of Jacob's trouble where God will blot out Israel Sin but until then. Israel as a nation is without forgiveness but individual Jews can be saved through the gospel. Again Jesus had the authority to forgive sin this is evident when you study Matthew the thief on the cross believe Jesus was the son of God and by honoring Jesus Jesus had the authority to forgive him his sin that's why he would say go and sin no more well if they had Absolution from sin then they wouldn't need to not sin anymore. Because the body of Christ is made perfect through Jesus our sins are forgiven us the moment we believe we are Sanctified and seated together in Heavenly places in Christ. No Works required but Israel's punishment is them having to endure because of what they have done
Another example that water baptism did not save is Acts 8:13 & 18 Simon believed also... and ...was baptized ...when Simon saw ... the H. Ghost was given...he offered money.
In the old testament (Leviticus and Deuteronomy ).all the priests had to be ceremonially washed (water baptism) before they could perform their duties. Jesus as High Priest and king was ritually cleansed in the flesh as an example to Israel. When the kingdom does come, the reason water baptism was commanded for Israel, was because ALL Israel would become a kingdom of priests...every man, woman, and child would be a priest of God to minister to the rest of the world..Exodus 19:5-6
Matthew 3:15, Jesus answered John that it had to be fulfilled as a righteousness requirement . Basically, Jesus Christ performed all the physical acts for us, and once you believe in His name as the Lord and Savior in your heart, you connect with the sacrifice he made. It is through Him that we are saved and righteous. So as you clearly indicated, his baptism in water was done for you and I because he was sinless. The Holy Spirit is our baptism, it is our spiritual identification in Christ because He did it in advance for all who believe in Him. Bless You!

Water Baptism is important and it must not be confused with the Baptism of The Holy Spirit. It is an essential tool for any believer who will contend with the world and ministry. Similarly when you make an altar call and you have people coming up with various issues, cares and fears, these are devices that the enemy uses to steal the word of God being imparted and replace it with doubt and unbelief. In fact many people struggle with doubts, fears, the deception of riches and understanding God’s word. Baptism sets the tone spiritually and I believe that the new birth takes place then in the spiritual realm. If you are not Jewish and have no prior OT knowledge you need to be taught about the OT and the NT and you are considered to be a babe in Christ, physical water Baptism means Spiritual Holy Spirit birth of the new man of the Holy Spirit. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit comes with the laying of hands and is evident by its gifting. That which is born of the Flesh is a human that of the Holy Spirit is the anointing that identifies a believer with Christ and combats doubt, cares and fears. The scriptures says that we are given a Spirit of power and a sound mind, not one of fear. The question is how do we get that Spirit that is to be filled to the overflowing in the physical body of the believer. If you know for a fact that your Spirit has been reborn then you know without doubt that you are a child of God. How do you impart to the physical person a Spiritual new birth. The truth is you can’t only the Holy Spirit can, so when you are instructed to signify Christ Burial and resurrection into the lives of new believers via water Baptism, stop doubting God, that is a device the devil uses to draw new believers away from the body of Christ. The accuser will ask the new convert the question, “ How can you be so sure what you confessed is true, people second guess themselves all the time, so just picture the dilemma for the convert, especially if they are under occult type attacks. We have failed the minute we decided that a new convert should believe the way we believe, not withstanding the many years it took Christ to get us to that point. We now become puffed up and have the intestinal fortitude to say water Baptism isn’t necessary. Ministers tend to forget that Christ is in them and speaking through them, the question is how did he get there?
David Allen He got there by believing not by water baptism Ephesians 1:13. It did not say the moment you believed and were BAPTIZED you were sealed . It said the moment u believed u were SEALED. It’s astonishing to me that people can’t comprehend the plain words of King James Bible. People don’t like what it says so they twist and pick and choose scripture to make it suit them. Paul said there is one baptism and it’s not being dunked in water, why is that so hard to understand?
David: Water baptism was necessary for the time and intention it was for. Instead of taking a denomination view point of the subject, I encourage you to study it for yourself. See why people were baptized and which people were baptized. There are 14 baptisms in the bible. So don't use the word to mean the same thing every time you see it. If you think what you always thought you will believe what you always did. That's not growing in the Lord! We need to grow, learn and trust the word of God by rightly dividing it. Take no man's word for it, but study it for yourself. Baptism is definitely not for us the body of Christ, for it takes away for Christ work on the cross and the gospel given to Paul for us today. Read I Cor 1:17 notice the word "but" which means Paul gospel by which we are saved by today could not and does not include water baptism. Hope you can look at this with an open mind. Re-listen to this whole message, objectively.
@@dealexander8457 You said: "It’s astonishing to me that people can’t comprehend the plain words of King James Bible." The Mormons and Christian Scientists believe the King James Bible. And Jesus did baptize with the Holy Spirit two times. Once to the Jewish Apostles and the second time to Cornelius. The first was for the Jews and the second for the Gentiles. But all were baptized in water for remission of sins.
kosy7 C he received the gifts of speaking in tongues at first. Did not receive the gift of the Holy Spirit until he was baptized. See Act 2:38 and you will see that the gift of the Holy Spirit was given to each individual until after baptism. It didn’t change for Cornelius baptism.
You do not receive the Holy Ghost once you believe. The epistles from ROMANS-JUDE is written to the saved, water baptized & filled w the Holy Ghost people. These epistles are not written to the sinner, it's written to the saints, the brethren, the saved ppl who came the book of Acts. Now Read Acts 19. They asked some ppl if they received the Holy Ghost since they first believed? They answered they didn't even know there was a holy ghost. Once you obey the new testament salvation msg, you certainly do move forward into the bible & continue to learn more. Ppl better get the truth for themselves. Learn from the Lord Jesus. Ask & you shall receive. Listen for when he speaks to you. I'm in awe when he speaks that still small voice.

Jews at that time were spread all over the inhabited world. read acts 11:19...the disciples of the 12 fled Jerusalem because of the persecution of Saul, but when they fled to gentile cities, it says they preached(the gospel of the kingdom) to NONE BUT JEWS ONLY.
@@bradnitzsche2436 mark 16:14-16. This was after Judas killed himself and after Jesus resurrection and just before he ascended into Heaven. Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
The Mathew scripture happen sometime before while Judas was still alive. And before the crucifiction. And that was when they were to go only to the Jews. In the Mark 16 scripture they were commanded to go into all the world to preach to every creature. Then they were to baptize all who believed the gospel message.

Paul baptised jewish poeple in corinth. I think this was more by entreaty by some Jewish brothers.
You sir are quite a character. There is only one eternal gospel. It is the same one preached in the Old Testament by the likes of Noah. (Remember him) and in the New Testament
Revelation 14:6
Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth-to every nation, tribe, language and people.
Oh really??? Then go down to saint jude and heal the Children! Because that was all apart of the gospel of the kingdom. Mark 16.The signs of healing. You one gospel freaks are contradicting yourselves.

The Mormons and Christian Scientists believe the King James Bible. The KJ has absolutely nothing to do with Spiritual understanding. You accuse others of not believing...yet reject the words of your own KJ version.
And Jesus did baptize with the Holy Spirit two times. Once to the Jewish Apostles and the second time to Cornelius. The first was for the Jews and the second for the Gentiles. But all were baptized in water for remission of sins.
Then why Cornelius receive the spirit before the water baptism then?
kosy7 C he received the gifts of speaking in tongues at first.
