    This channel and ministry has been an awesome blessing. It is so hard to find an online video ministry that rightly divides the scriptures and teaches it with clarity. I very much appreciate the Lord giving us teachers like David Reid, thanks so much!

    Brother David, this was a thrilling teaching for me as I have been in traditional churches and never heard of "rightly dividing the word of truth" actually being taught. I'm 77 yrs old and about 2 months ago I learned by chance your channel and 2 others. What a blessing to read the bible and finally see what is going on.
    You have been a big help to me. todays message was so uplifting I wanted to shout AMEN but didn't want to scare my neighbors. God bless you and yours with grace and peace MARANATHA!!!

    Thanks for the study and confirmation of it with the Word of God.
    I wanted to compare it to what today's religion would say about the Body Of Christ.
    I listened to TD Jakes take on the body of Christ. It was border line ridiculous. He only mentioned 1 reference Eph.4 :16. His take on that was unity. There was absolutely nothing on the purpose and the future. He mention formed ...filled... function. But just made it into a pep rally with no substance. This is why I listen and study with this channel .
    The things that David Reid, presented today gives me pause to examine my life's plans, to make sure that I am pursuing the things of eternal value.
    "Set your affections on things above....."

      It is wise of you to focus on the eternal purpose of the body of Christ. Alleluia.

      @7TrumpetsOFThunder Luke 22:19 is written to the kingdom church. Relevant cross references include Matt 26:26, Mark 14:22, and 1Cor 11:23-25. Hope this helps. Grace.

    Lucid presentation, as always, David
    One Question: (Playing Devil's Advocate :) ) Let's just say Satan knew what God was going to do, is Psalms 118:27, a default option--meaning that the priests would offer Christ as a human sacrifice on the horns of the altar? Some have posited this view, what do you see?
    Psalms 118:27--God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar."

    • @ColumbusBibleChurch
      @ColumbusBibleChurch  3 года назад +3

      Satan had no idea of the mystery (1Cor 2:7-8). What your question posits is what would have happened if Israel had not rejected the Messiah. One can use Psalm 118:27 to predict what believing Israel would have done, but it seems to me that God knew exactly how Israel was going to react.

    Thank you, for filling in some of my gaps of knowledge. However, one thing - as I study the JSOC I have a slightly different view atm. Scriptures suggest the JSOC is for those who "endure to the end", which is not the Body. They also suggest fire is present (not something that pertains to us) and that works will be burned BUT they "will be" saved - WE ARE saved, not "will be". So I see the JSOC as being on Earth at the 2nd coming and not for us or in Heaven. Also you mention we may replace the fallen angels? If so are they not all equal? Are we not all equal? Are some in the body superior to others? Food for thought. Bless you.

    • @awatchwoman
      @awatchwoman 2 года назад

      Plus I see the JSOC is for handing out positions of authority to those who have earned them in the Trib.

      It is clear from the scriptures that the judgment seat of Christ is for the body of Christ.

      @@ColumbusBibleChurch If WE are the Body of Christ, does Christ judge His own body? NO WAY! Anyone who thinks they can make themselves holy or righteous - 1 Sam 2:2 None holy. Rom 3:10 none righteous. Paul told Timothy to rightly divide the word of God, is Paul's words not of God? Too right they are.

    • @ColumbusBibleChurch
      @ColumbusBibleChurch  2 года назад

      Everyone shall give account to God, including members of the body of Christ. This is beyond obvious.
      Rom 14:12 KJV - So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

      @@ColumbusBibleChurch I strongly disagree, please read the scriptures in this video and understand the differences, it is not hard to see if you, with respect, have ears willing to hear.

    1 Corinthians 2:8 refers to "princes of this world" who crucified Jesus. This to me means the literal humans as it was humans who crucified the Lord, the Devil was influencing people to do this, but eventually it was humans who did it, so are we sure that the mystery was withheld from Satan or from humans?

    • @ColumbusBibleChurch
      @ColumbusBibleChurch  Год назад

      @Rahel Horvat What is about the mystery that would make humans regret crucifying the Lord of glory?

    RE: The word/term Mystery:
    Vines definition of the term reveals the 'Mystery' denotes not the mysterious (as with the English word), but that which, being outside the range of unassisted natural apprehension, can be made known only by Divine Revelation.
    In other words, this work is filled with seeds and God will reveal the mystery to you from within. The secret is to realize we are receiving the 'keys' to unlock God’s doors within the Text, so 'He' can lead us to the truth of these things. Vines says the Mystery is made known in a manner, and at a time appointed by God, and to those only who are illumined by His Spirit. While the topic of Prophecy is finite, these things of the Mystery are truly infinite, including teachings related to our destiny in God’s Infinite Realm. Vines continues, "In the ordinary sense, a ‘Mystery’ implies knowledge withheld; its Spiritual significance is truth revealed." On the surface, this means a specific time-arrived for God to reveal the 'wisdom given him’ (2Peter 3:15) through the Apostle Paul. However, the definition means the time must become full for each member of Christ’s body.

    When God broke down the middle wall why doesn't that mean the Jews who were separated from Gentiles are now in the Body of Christ?

    • @ColumbusBibleChurch
      @ColumbusBibleChurch  4 года назад +2

      It means today that there is no difference between Jew and Greek (Rom 10:12, Gal 3:28).

      Because he gave them a covenant to the house of Judah n Israel heb8:8 he gave us the body the gospel eph31-21 we partake of the body n promises through the gospel which is different 1cor15:1-4 from the kingdom in gal3:28 no Jew or Greek or gentiles now! God closed temporarily the kingdom with Israel rom 11:11 is part of the mystery Israel’s disobedience rom 11:32 there’s a pause on the prophetic plan we are in the mystery but now grace period romans through Philemon not Hebrews through revelation, learn dispensationlism and dived prophetic from mystery law n grace n you’ll be on the right track this guy is on point

      The Jew are in the Body of Christ, when the middle wall was broken down

    • @311hitwall
      @311hitwall 3 года назад

      @@kallyjon If you think Peter, etc are in the Body of Christ I believe David will disagree with you. It is taught the Body of Christ and the one new man are the same and it began with Paul so there is no way Peter, etc. are in it. I don't necessarily agree with that because Paul said in Ephesians 3:6 - That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel. How can the gentiles be of the same body if the body wasn't created before the Gentiles were allowed to be a part of it? I have never received a straight answer on that from mid-acts people.
