I think the video went viral because it was so personal to everyone, like everyone have a router but not many people want to see PCB videos, so i think people found the router video more personal

i clicked on hacking router video because im interested in seeing smart people unlock, and totally understand the implementation of software to be able to reverse engineer it, which you did great. it probably also popped up for me because i like watching networking and router content. i saw that video and thought maybe this guy is onto something so started exploring the rest of your channel and here i am (watching this video).

Reason for me not signing up for your new touter is that i recently bought a Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro and so far i really do like it very much 🙂
It is not perfect, but so far i'm not yet sure of what i want to change and what not to change about it, and therefore i do not yet know what i would like to buy instead to replace it.

You are doing good though still waiting on prices for router though I'll probably get it even if it is around $350-400 just for the specs.
If I tell you how many hours I've already spent asking for quotes for all the components to get them as low as possible, you won't be sure whether to laugh or to cry :D

Interesting since all RUclipsrs that I know shred this number were mentioning 0.003 USD,
so either it dropped since 6 years ago (last time I heard the number) or there is some rounding between USD in EUR.
