everythingsuck In one of the interviews with Glynn Frey on the Eagles documentary, he quoted (forget who said it) one of their label heads, and he said "this would be an amazing business, if it weren't for the artists". It seems their goal of eliminating "bands" and musicians who actually compose their own shit is long complete. Now, all they have to do is share a percentage with a poptart here and there, buy lyrics for their talentless auto tuned hack and horde the rest. There are still some great under the radar bands, but all the mainstream shit that actually gets air time and recognition is soulless garbage.
2:29 I like how the beatles album abbey road is top for 1969 and then after they broke up in 1970 George Harrisons album all things must past is another top and then john lennons imagine !!!

Very cool! But did anyone notice he didn’t actually trigger the snare during during Freddie Jackson’s “Rock Me Tonight”? Also, The Beach Boys’ “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” doesn’t have the crash just before the legendary snare hit that kicks in the song. You can hear Brian Wilson make very clear he doesn’t want this when listening to him produce the sessions for the song. Still, a neat video, all the same.
It’s pretty easy to tell his brush technique is not there on the swing tunes. No left hand swirl at all, an not even holding them correctly. He’s a great and solid drummer otherwise.
Every time there is a new video I always think about how on earth you could top the last one. You're absolutely killing it Kye, never disappoint to amaze me man.
So basically all of the 70's and before drum chronology. I hate it when people claim it covers all ages and then put loads of 70's crap in and basically none after 2000. Nice skilz tho
Did a good job but I feel like a couple more seconds each track would have been even better! Really let us feel each them for a moment. For some you only gave us like a beat or 2 and there was hardly a point to playing it
You got something wrong. Heart's 'Barracuda' was a single on the Portrait label, and was released in 1977 not 1985. They did have their self-titled album on Capitol in 1985. The big single from that record was 'What About Love?'

Led Zeppelin next please!!!!!!!
Nathan Big Nasty Wright PREACH
Nathan Big Nasty Wright yaaas

Kyle, being a drummer should have done Zeppelin first!
If you could, I think a Beach Boys compilation would be pretty cool!

That would be a good one wow
Pink Floyd, Please..
if you pay attention you can see the exact moment when music industry became shit
Right ? The video was perfect until the last decade, then it was utter crap... (the songs, not the drumming !)
greatmotherfuckers parachutes by Coldplay is a banger

What? No? The last decade was 90% actual good singers. Katy Perry, Coldplay, Sam smith, Beck. They do know how to sing.
holy shit I think this is the best drum chronology you have put out! so fitting. i was frozen throughout the 5 minutes.
well...LED ZEPPELIN NEXT!
,
Please. A Pink Floyd 5 minutes drum chronology. Or at least a cover. I'd love you for that.
"Money" was too short!!!
3:55 yeeeaaaasssssssss who else got super happy when this song showed up?
kye! you need to make a metallica and megadeth chronology next!!!!!!
Elijah Lusk I saw the thumb nail and clicked it with the intention of hearing it tbh, fantastic drum track, not Gars best though!
The Beatles plus all of their solo careers
HistoryFanatic03. Yha
HistoryFanatic03. Lol you're RUclips name is the same as your insta

Loving the Beatles music! Awesome job!!
Yo también creo lo mismo the beatles es la mejor banda más legendaria pero también los otros artistas son los mejores exelente
Barracuda wasn't on Heart self titled album and wasn't released in 1985
Some great songs in there 👌
especially peace sells
+syahputramrsel 0w0

Elijah Lusk wtf is peace sells. Bitch, Sgt. Pepper was on here.

1:49 was my mom’s favorite song il miss her 11/3/2018
Should've ended with Avenged Sevenfold.
Damn, yes
this drummer cant handle double kick songs..so A7X is a no go
Craig Dick Yes he can man, have you not seen any of his other videos
@Craig Dick He did a video on Zildjian cymbals which featured double kicks in places
@@Jesterhead-ow6gu double kick is incredibly easy, and a7x' drumming are the first songs I teach 14 year olds.
That was bold to do! Odd to see Sinatra and Katy Perry in the same medley! It could only happen this way :)
TOLO it could only happen on Capitol. Without a doubt, the most interesting record label.
I love how peace sells in just in the middle of two non metal albums and sounds so out of place

Cactus Jack And Sub Pop.
Was nirvana on capital records
That Person No.
Windows 98 Yeah, I think you need to update your windows. Nirvana was never on Capitol
Pink Floyd please!!!
Absolutely brilliant
Queen!! Roger Taylor is a perfect drummer
It’s cool seeing Beatles in the 60s and then slowly individual records from each of them show up in the next couple years
Where Avenged Sevenfold in the end?
Like for Megadeth
Very cool! But did anyone notice he didn’t actually trigger the snare during during Freddie Jackson’s “Rock Me Tonight”? Another awesome medley, but Barracuda was released in 1977 and not 1985.
Holy shit this guy has never touched brushes in his life.
Erik Shouse how did you come to this conclusion?
It’s pretty easy to tell his brush technique is not there on the swing tunes. No left hand swirl at all, an not even holding them correctly. He’s a great and solid drummer otherwise.
Wow, this is incredible! Thanks for doing this!
Those vinyl Kye mentioned can be purchased here: capitolrecords.lnk.to/CapitolGoods
How cou you be verified without having 100k subscribers
It’s a record company dude, it’s not like they’re gonna have a lot of subscribers
The whole time I was waiting for some body from Capitol records to kick you out
Every time there is a new video I always think about how on earth you could top the last one. You're absolutely killing it Kye, never disappoint to amaze me man.
5 minutes Guns and Roses please!.
Idea: Oasis chronology.
The Ramones please!
All their drum lines are exactly or almost the same, good band but too repetitive talking bout rhythms.
Barracuda by Heart was in the incorrect order.
Also, it was not a hit song on Capitol
@@PaulinaAngel Not epic
what about U2?
If it weren’t for this video I would’ve never discovered maze or Tavares so thank you for these wonderful songs
Beach Boys fan, i see!
Yardbirds or Rolling Stones PLEASE😀😁🤗
Do a led Zeppelin one or pearl jam , Soundgarden, sunny day real estate, stone Temple pilots
Unbelievable list of songs and amazing playing! Drum gear question: are those cymbals Zildjian A or A Custom?
It looks like he’s using a hats and ride and a custom crashes
So basically all of the 70's and before drum chronology. I hate it when people claim it covers all ages and then put loads of 70's crap in and basically none after 2000. Nice skilz tho
Iron Maiden has made over a BILLION U.S. dollars for Capital Records...
And your like, DAM IT, I knew I forgot to put something in this video!!!
I just watched this video waiting to see some Iron Maiden song....... 😑
can you do a 5 minute chronology for Brand New Please and thank you:)
WHERE IS AVENGED SEVENFOLD!!?!??
Gavin considering that's their newest big act, I'd expect it
He's only playing something from the albums that Capitol are reissuing for their 75th anniversary.
I'll do a drum chronology of every song of A7X in a few weeks, sorry for the spam but I think you guys would be interested in it;)
Kinn Blindston looking forward to it?
Does anyone know the names of the songs and not just the name of the albums which are featured in the video
I've found all the titles. Sorry, I learned this video just last week, and the creator is busy playing his drum kit.

Up next, 5 Minute Chronology of Bad Religion!
I've seen this so many times I can probably sing the whole thing
What a good history lesson this was
So awesome! You have so much control when you play. Great job! 👌🏻
a 5 minute drum chronology of Oasis
Did a good job but I feel like a couple more seconds each track would have been even better! Really let us feel each them for a moment. For some you only gave us like a beat or 2 and there was hardly a point to playing it
It could be cool if you could show the songs names
pls make a pink floyd chronology
avenged sevenfold...😢
absolutely great work from one drummer to another!
Faith No More next please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and oasis drum chronology please!!!
Oklahoma credits should probably go to Richard Rodgers since he was the main composer, of the tune in question and for the entire soundtrack.
OMG! this is awesome man, Congrats!
I still love that u do the ringo swing every time a beatles song comes on
So any reason you didn't go all the way to 2016, would have been cool to hear Avenged Sevenfold out of left field
Interpol next please!!!
Really nice job man! keep it up
Here's a playlist of all the songs!

This is so beautiful . Thank you for doing covers for these amazing songs.
Awesome video, but Heart's "Barracuda" came out in 1977 on a totally different album.
i was hoping the stage by avenged sevenfold for last one! Nice Video!
Good to see you play other styles Kyle, is there anyone with better feel/tempo control this bi polar? Don't think so
Everything was pretty good until about 2000. Then everything slowly went to hell...
I was expecting a little bit of blink or Green Day but guess not but this made it sound better
Josu3 RiVERA this video only showcases artists that used capital records. i know green day uses reprise records but i'm not sure about blink
Neither Green Day nor Blink-182 ever recorded for Capitol Records.
What's that kit! It's beautiful man, and this was awesome.
Where did it all go wrong.... Actually wait I know, straight after 2000 :/
Where did it all go wrong.... Actually wait I know, straight after 2000 :/
Honestly. The segments need to be longer. Two measures.
The fact that a few of the Beatles songs had the wrong caption is really throwing me off...
That was insane!! Your skills a great - respect!
Was happy to see The Band, George Harrison, and Blind Melon make the cut.
Can someone make this a spotify playlist?
forgot to mention Masters Of Maple Drums in the description
Didnt sum 41 do Screaming Bloody Murder and All Killer there?
YESS!! Megadeth! Beastie Boys! Foos! Yeah Capitol!!!
2:00 whats the song?
The Weight
Coldplay! A 5 Minutes Drum Chronology Please!
Bernard Villa fuck that shit
Queen?
Perhaps an all Beatles SOLO chronology would be nice

The sound is like half a second late. Am I the only one that finds that kind of distracting?
A Phil Spector songs drum chronology
Not a big fan of Ringo, but the drumming on Come Together is pretty genius.
