I've been in the UK for many years and the palm oil is a no go for me. I've used different brands, shopped in different cities and come to the conclusion that it's not for me. I spend a pretty penny shipping my palm oil from Nigeria but its worth it to me
Yes o. But there are vendors that import now and sell in shops like DOA in Manchester. Or Alaoma in Sheffield. Me i imported mine. 10Litres of good owerri palm oil
Some of the ways you can save money in the UK as well is shopping in your local supermarket. You’ll be amazed that a lot of the things can be purchased there and you can get points which can be converted to monies later.
Cost of living is high oo! I get those bag rice from Asda. I no dey go bear pondo. I get semolina flout from Sainsbury's or Asda if I can't go to the African store. As for crayfish, I for dash you instead of you to buy all those tiny things as crayfish. How many soup or porridge that one wan cook😂
Well, for light weight foodstuffs like Crayfish... I think it's better seeing that it won't weigh much. But for heavy items like Gaari and the likes... I don't think it's wise. A mudu of gari now cost about 1,400 imagine using at least 4,500 which is the cheapest logistics rate I've seen to ship 1,400. Total to 5,900 and when you convert it, its almost the same price you'd get it here... Note, you'll still pay the person in Nigeria that would do the runs and the 4,500 is not doorstep delivery. So you might end up spending more than the amount you'd have gotten it here. Although you'll get the Naija taste satisfaction
Hmmm. Even if u have enough, whenever someone is coming, u top up o. I just topped up my ugba in a big tub. £435 is wild. Do u mix up your cuisine at all? Or is it just Nigerian food😮😮.
