    Dr. Kristie your video came up. I'm 55 and and for yrs had back pain. I did this stretch and I feel the difference. I will NEVER bend over again after getting up in the mrg, I thought this was a good thing. Thank you😊👍

    Thank you for the excellent information!! I fell 400 ft down waterfall 21 yrs ago. Landing on a boulder on my right butt cheek. You and my physical therapist keep me motivated with these light stretches etc

    I always workout barefoot also, whether for stretching, kettlebells, or calisthenics! My mind feels more free with bare feet, and I’m just simply happier that way! ☺️☺️☺️

    THANKS ! Have you created a 'complete' routine, every day or every other day? That is, wakeup, glutes, abs, knees, hamsrings, situps, pushups, squats, quads, etc. Maybe a total of 30-45 minutes. I am an every other day jogger. For my purposes, just a listing of the video urls and I will figure it out. I am sending you ome more California SUNNY Day!!

    Hello Katie ! I just retired right before Covid hit !!I used to workout three times a week , biking…. And weights …. Trying to strengthen my core . Now I’m going soft and have lost quad muscles \glutes . Need some exercise to build these back up . How much should I be eating since I know I’m not working and working out ??

    These are very good for full body stretch without giving any strain to the stiff body in the morning. In yoga class, I teach students something like a reverse plank (stretching your front body), to 'wake up the body' like a dog does. Would you recommend some particular stretch to recover from the 'upper back' stiffness? I do rotations for shoulders and shoulderblades. Thank you!

    I like these stretches and have been doing them for years now. I do have a question: does the spine compress through the night? Seems like it would compress throughout the day and at night, reclined, it would sort of rehydrate.

      Thanks! It truly depends on what is limiting you. It could be right hamstrings, right back, pelvis rotation, spine issue, or even weakness through the abs and glutes.

    Most people’s beds are against a wall so there is no outstretched arms and clasping hands behind your head. You’d have to get out of bed to do the first two exercises.

      Or flip so that feet are at head of the bed and arms have room to extend. Sadly, a person has to get out from under the covers, though.

      Is it total body pain? I have my patients try different pillow positions, like under the knees on the back or between the knees on the side.

    I have entirely flat soles, and it has caused my ankle to be fully deformed so it’s causing a lot of pain in my knees and generally just walking/running hurts so bad. Any stretches or anything you could suggest to lessen the pain during the day?
