Should have dug a hole in the ground and watched this inside it lol
Nice!
She could remedy that with Tremors 2: Aftershock. Unfortunately no Kevin Bacon. I suggest though that Kat finds a desert to watch the sequel.
And no Reba, BUMMER
🤣
No, not a hole! Then the graboids will surely get her.
Tremors belongs to a club of a few movies that you can watch over and over again without getting bored. The characters are so engaging and the humor is perfect in every way. It's the very definition of a feel good movie!
@ht9851, agreed
Agreed. In my little hometown, we had one vhs rental place, and if I didn't already have a movie in mind when the family went, I'd pick this one over and over. I think I've watched every reaction to this movie that's on youtube, except one that dropped two days ago, but I'm watching it next.
@@michaelparham1328 This may sound weird but there's something so relatable and comforting about this series. I think it's the combination of the remote location along with the camaraderie of the inhabitants overcoming this terrible situation and of course the hilarity of it all. Have you checked out the tv series? It's so much fun!
Agreed, I’ve HAD to have watched at least 200 times in my life, it’s a comfort movie for me. Never gets old.
@@SanctumGamingNetworkthat’s awesome!!! You’re right. It never gets old and is so much fun every time😊. Have you checked out the tv series. It’s so campy but so good.
"Broke into the wrong goddam rec room didn't ya, you bastard!?" is one of the best movie lines ever!
Sure it is. After the thousands of better lines.
Fun little fact, in the scene where burt gives Melvin a gun you can see him unload it in the background and when melvin hands it back you can see burt checking that it's still empty as per standard gun safety precautions something a person like burt gummer would be well versed in and is a great minor detail that shows they did their research for the characters
Have you ever heard of a run-on sentence? lol
@@ny8956 yeah and I don't care 😝
@@crwydryny You'll never be a success because you are uneducated and are too ignorant or lazy to hide it.
Tremors is such a fun movie.
Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward as the leads have a great buddy chemistry together.
Seriously, the way they bicker made about half the movie for me when I saw it first back in the day
No only that, but all the characters are written such that they're a functional community and any mistakes leading to deaths are the result of ignorance or panic instead of abject stupidity.
I call this a buddy road movie interrupted by a monster movie.
Yeah, they're an excellent mix of drinking buddies and big/little brother dynamics.
I was just bummed neither Reba nor Bacon came back for any of the sequels, and Fred dropped out after the 2nd one. Sure putting the whole franchise on Burt Gummer worked out fairly well (there were so many sequels that Michael Gross probably made a nice tidy nest egg for his retirement) but with just him the franchise wouldn’t really climb much in popularity.
This was Michael Gross's first post-Family Ties role, which makes the Burt character even more hilarious. He went from playing a former hippie on Family Ties to playing a sovereign citizen gun nut in Tremors.
Burt becoming the center of the series is the best part of everything after 2.
@@LordVolkov It's big props to Gross too, because he is a lefty IRL, and he doesn't ever let his politics color his performance of someone he likely would have serious disagreements with in real life. That's how you do. That's how you do.
Thanks for the reactions! This has been one of my favorite movies since it came out! Funny and entertaining!
Survivalist, not sov.cit. Different breed of crazy altogether. Sov.cits were around back in the 90s, but not as visible as today. This breed doesn't believe the whole "people have to opt-in to the government" BS and is more "the government is controlled by a global cabal is going to destroy the world" new world order BS.
@@OpenMawProductions You do know that you don't have to be strictly right-wing to be in favor of the right to bare arms right? Just like not every right winger is an overzealous Donald Trump loving gun nut. There is a middle ground for most people in the real world.
Fun fact: The original idea was for the doctor's wife to ride on top of the sinking station wagon down into the ground like the Titanic, but the budget wouldn't allow for it. Honestly I think the visual of the headlights pointing straight up and then disappearing from a distance is much more impactful.
Yes, and I think being trapped inside the car as the windows are breaking and dirt pours in is scarier.
Agreed. And it's poignant as they were just talking about the stars being over them in their dream home they were going to build.... and the last view is those headlights pointed up at the stars before snuffing out.
It's cool when directors have an idea an it gets totally sidelined but they manage to pull it off in a $cheaper fashion but it still has the same impact.
I.e. Jaws
Good ol' Bibi Besch of "The Wrath of Khan" and "The Day After" fame. Gone too soon.

Yes that IS Ariana Richards, the girl from Jurassic Park. She was also in Tremors 3 and Jurassic Park: the Lost World. After that she didn't do much - only one TV movie as an adult. She stepped away from acting to become a celebrated portrait artist.
I always liked this movie - one of the best horror comedies ever made.

The script for Tremors is so good it's being used as an example of a perfect script in film schools, a great blend of horror, comedy and action.
Yup I've seen this and Back To The Future referenced as the perfect screenplays. I love this movie!
I would go so far as to say Tremors is a perfect movie. It's the best possible version of itself. The script is great, there's not a minute wasted, all the characters have distinct personalities and contribute in meaningful ways. Everyone acts their ass off and have great chemistry with each other. I can't think of a genuine criticism for Tremors.
@@TheLanceUppercut some of the effects are a bit cheesy if we are being honest and it could be argued there are times where there is a bit of overacting.
Perfect script for schools. Lol.
Yea right on?.
@@johnpaullogan1365 Aye, some of the effects are cheesy, but that honestly adds to the overall charm of the film.
This film would have been wasted with over the top cgi or ‘too perfect” acting. It’s just real enough to be real.
"We plan ahead, so we don't do any work right now. Earl explained it to me."
Words to live by 😅
So many great one liners in this movie. I crack up every time at that part. Kevin Bacon's delivery of that line is perfect!!! 😂😂😂
@@kaansoler1431 "Sure Earl... Everyone knows about em, we just didn't tell you"
Kevin Bacon has fantastic delivery throughout. Perfect casting.
Burt treating a gun he knows is unloaded as if it is loaded is some of the best character writing I've seen, period.
‘Burt, you asshole, there’s no bullets in this gun!” 😡
‘Gotcha movin’ didn’t it?” *click.. click*🔫😏
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it was an acting choice. Gross didn't really know anything about guns when he was cast, but he took the role seriously and did a bunch of research to figure out how a guy like that would operate. If it's true, that was 200% the right choice on his part. If it's not, yeah, it was still the right choice on someone's part for sure.
Tremors is gold... gold gold gold! It should be a part of every film studies degree. Creature-feature perfection!

Kat: I hate horror movies.
Also, Kat: I was hoping for an explosion of guts.
Kat after creature explodes : Ahhhh, guts.
I'm starting to think that Kat likes horror movies.
It's different when it's monster guts.
Need a poll of the most gory movie for Kat.
@@leejensen4778 the curse from 1987 horror= soso but gory very high for its time
"Arachnophobia" is a good companion piece to this. Both have likeable characters, jump scares, skin-crawling creatures, and some solid laughs.
That damn movie scared the hell out of me as a kid.......and today 😂😂😂😂
it's a *great* companion piece, and, much like Tremors' Ed Ward, we lost one of the actors from Arachnophobia recently.
What I adore about this film is that the characters *think.* This isn’t a horror movie where people do dumb or uninformed things, at least when it comes to the monster. They mostly make good decisions based on what they know, even though they might not be geniuses in other respects.
Right its so refreshing when the characters on screen can think faster than the audience and you aren't screaming the solution in your head while you watch them flounder
TFW you realize Tremors is basically "The Floor is Lava" getting a movie adaptation.
Or just jaws but on land
Its amazing but I remember growing up and doing that game having learned it from no one, hopping from couch to chair. Then, years after growing up, learning that other people played that game. It is some mysterious element of the human condition that we all experience???
Or...did you copy off of my family? You know I copyrighted it and you owe me royalties don't you?
@@thudthud5423
I always just assumed it was primate climbing instincts working hand-in-hand with obvious/lazy writing on behalf of the kids playing, but your theory works too. :P
@@thudthud5423 There are cross-cultural developmental stages where kids reliably start building forts/lean-tos/whatever, and even specific ranges of ages when they start including things like seating or what-have-you, so it's not impossible. We like to pretend we aren't animals largely governed by instinct, but that denial is probably the thing that gets us in trouble most often.
@@ephraimwinslow Good points! Certainly, a lot of the primates we're descended-from were so adapted to climbing that being on-the-ground would make them easy prey, so it makes sense to instinctually see some imagined "bottom level" as death. I know a theory behind that "jerk awake as you're falling asleep" response is that it's a carry-over from infant primates having to maintain a grip on their mothers for dear life.
The real horror of this movie is having to wait a week for another reaction
FACTS
This really is an amazing film, from all the foreshadowing eg Stampede, the refrigerator, The Cat, etc, Val & Earl's odd couple relationship and so much more. I particularly liked how they handled the scene where Val & Earl ignore Rhonda because they were bickering & rather than getting indignant, she just got on with it & showed them her solution.
Val: "I'm a victim of circumstance"
Earl: "I thought you called it your pecker"

Glad you liked it! The sequel's pretty darn great too! If you liked Burt here, he gets amped to eleven in the next movie. Positively iconic...
there's like 8 total movies in this series. each one he gets more awesome
@@williamrosmer8381 Not really. The Netflix trilogy doesn't count. Those people had no idea how to write for the series. The only thing they did decently was the CGI, but the visual designs were awful. They looked more like thresher maws from Mass Effect than Graboids.
There's something wrong with our worms earl!!
@@williamrosmer8381 I'd say the last good one is 4. After that they get a very Sci-Fi original movie feel to them and the quality drops hardcore.
The first 4 are worth watching
Don't know if anyone else told you or you Googled it, but the huge gun that Burt breaks out of the display case is an old .577 Nitro Express Rifle, colloquially called an "Elephant Gun" (as Reba calls it) as you needed a bullet that large and full of gunpowder to pierce the hide of big game like elephants, rhinos, and graboids.
big game like elephants, rhinos, and graboids. lol, perfect.
I think hippos were, surprisingly, also one of the most "bullet-resistant" animals (even considered bullet-*proof* for a time). Those things are tanks. Hide a quarter-inch thick in some areas, I've heard. I know you can find lots of pictures online of young lions who don't know better doing their darnedest to try to bring-down a hippo, and the hippo just literally ignoring the "King of the Jungle" trying to gnaw-through their flank. "It'll get tired, or it'll piss me off and I'll kill it. In the meantime, I'm eating".
It looks a bit bigger than a .577 to me, just look how big the cartridges are when Burt dumps them out on the bench; there's a display of smaller rounds in the background (excellent piece of visual storytelling to let people who aren't gun nuts know that that is a _biiig_ gun) and to my eye it looks like they are closer to an inch across, which would make it a 4 bore.
@@WJS774I think you're right. According to Internet Movie Firearms Database it's a William Moore & Co. 8 gauge shotgun firing solid slugs. Also just found out that they broke it during filming when they dropped it. Oops.
When it all goes down, you always want the survivalist gun nuts on your team. Sometimes you just need firepower. Kat, you provide some of the greatest fun on RUclips! Thanks.
The REAL Horror is that Pun on the Thumbnail! 🤣
yes! that is indeed the girl from Jurassic Park! I'm glad you recognized her. this was a few years before her role in Jurassic Park.
My favorite lines in this movie are Burt's cannon fuse and recroom lines. So glad you left both in and seemed to love them also
The reveal to the wall of guns is one of my favorite parts. They're the kind of gun nuts people like.
Oh, no! Oh, no! They're going to die! They're going to die! They...oh! Wait a minute now! That MONSTER is going to die!
They're *responsible* gun-nuts. To the point of refusing to give that one kid a gun under any circumstances. And, unlike so many gun-fetishists, they know their stuff but aren't assholes about it, and actually treat their weapons with respect. And they have the good graces to only establish an armory a sizeable distance away from anyone else.
Yeah. It's thank to them there are 1,2 guns per 1 person in the USA.
The results are in....Kat is the funniest reactor on RUclips. Hands down, end of story. This made my day. Correction, this made my week. :)
Love Rhonda, out here subverting horror expectations.
Friends with her on Facebook. She's great
Earl climbing out of the truck in the beginning is identical to the worm flopping over the cliff at the end. Makes the callback even better
The thing Reba was using that was shaking in their basement is called a cartridge polisher, used to make spent cartridges clean for reloading
I would recommend reacting to the 1996 horror film Tremors 2: Aftershocks, starring Fred Ward, Christopher Gartin, Helen Shaver, and Michael Gross, if that's OKay? While it doesn't have Kevin Bacon as Val, it does have Fred Ward returning as Earl, who's been hired to deal with a Graboid infestation at a Mexican oilfield. Plus, it has Michael Gross returning as Burt Gummer, which makes Burt more of a main character. It helps cement Burt Gummer as one of the legendary horror heroes and sets Burt up as the main character for the sequels after Tremors 2.
I always have fun watching Tremors. Watching Kat's reaction to Tremors just made it that much more fun. I love Kat's cheezy jokes.
This was one of those "surprise" movies. The premise sounds goofy, almost like it would be a "B" movie, but it was so well done that it became one of the most famous "cult horror classics" of all time. Great film! I never get tired of watching this movie. I've watched it like every two or three years since it first came out. One of those movies that's perfect when there's nothing else going on in your schedule and you've no place to go. :D
I rented this VHS tape so often from the store they let me buy it. This was back when VHS copies could cost $80 new. Tremors is an absolute cornucopia of brilliance. Casting, writing, directing, acting, music and practical (and some very convincing model work) mixed to create one of the best monster movies ever made. The behind the scenes FX videos of this film are fascinating and I bet you can't tell what was a big ol' puppet and what was a foot tall miniature. Great reaction!
I liked Tremors because the horror was good, the effects still work for me, Kevin and Fred had chemistry, no character was really stupid (even the obnoxious kid was just a bored teenager in a small town) and Rhonda was both cute and smart. I mean you pretty much liked everybody!
Yes! Such a brilliant and fun movie. Simple, solid story, low-ish budget utilized well, a great cast, Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward has all the buddy chemistry, and it makes for an amazing ride.
What I loved about this film is the characters. They all acted like real people who were facing an unknown and unforeseeable situation. There were no supersoldiers or people with special abilities, just ordinary people who worked together and saved themselves.
The scene with the pole vaulting was actually based on the inital inspiration for the film. The witer was hiking in the Mojave desert and as he was climbing over a large boulder he thought "what if something were under the ground and I couldnt get off this rock" so basically the floor is lava. He then developed the idea further based on the idea of "land sharks" though that name was ditched because SNL around that time did a sketch called Landshark
“Children of the Corn” (1984) is a movie that will always haunt me! I chose to watch it when I was about 8 yrs old., after being told not to (but hey, it was the 80’s and I was babysitting myself, lol), and I will never forget it. I definitely did not choose wisely that night.
This could have been my comment word for word
I was kid when this came out but I still enjoy watching it. Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward (RIP Remo Williams) had great chemistry. Although a low budget B-movie, I’ve heard it described as a near perfect movie. The acting is good, the story is original for the time, the plot was good, almost every scene had a purpose, it has the right amounts of horror, comedy, and action, all the characters are relatable and it was very entertaining. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and there’s no hidden meaning to any of it. It does what a movie should, entertain, and nothing more. Out of all the movies in the franchise, this is by far the best. Other great horror comedies I think you’d like are “Night of the Creeps” and “Return of the Living Dead” (1985).
I think it is easily in my top ten favourite movies if not maybe even top 5 and probably seen it at least 50 times in the past 25 to 30 years. I agree with you completely
Don't forget Peter Jackson's Dead Alive
I’m so happy you got to watch this Kat! I loved this movie growing up and I knew you would love it too. Tremors is a perfect mix of comedy and horror with a lot of heart. The buddy chemistry between Val (Kevin Bacon) and Earl (Fred Ward) is amazing. It’s a huge part of what makes this movie so memorable in that they are both such likable characters. The same is true for Rhonda (Finn Carter), Heather (Reba McIntyre), and Walter (Victor Wong). I also loved that my man Miguel got to survive.
Oh and yes, the little girl who played Mindy (Ariana Richards) is the same actress who played Lex in Jurassic Park. Ironically Kevin Bacon at the time thought that this wasn’t a good movie. He changed his opinion though as Tremors has grown such a beloved following over the years. This is basically a B-Movie with a larger budget, but it’s such a fun creature feature, and Tremors embraces it.
I also have to comment on Burt Gummer. The character is played by Michael Gross, who literally just came off filming the last season of Family Ties where he portrayed a wholesome Dad in the series. It was a huge character change going from a lovable family man to a paranoid gun-totting survivalist, but still making him so fun and lovable. It’s no surprise that Burt Gummer has become such a legend over the years as Gross returned to portray him in every subsequent sequel, including a short lived Tremors TV series back in 2003. He’s basically been the glue that has kept the series going for so long.
If you loved Tremors, then you definitely have to watch the sequel Tremors 2: Aftershocks (1996) in which Ward and Gross return as Earl and Burt. Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001) is also pretty good, so I’d recommend that too!
Take care Kat, and thank you again! ✌🏼
Even though Burt gave Melvin a unloaded gun he still followed gun safety regulations by check it after getting his gun back gotta love Burt. You’ll love the sequels.
Tremors was one of those films that was always playing on TV. I've seen it so many times and it's always a fun ride. Creatures beneath us is horrifying!
This movie is the best thing to happen to giant sandworms since Dune lol
May their passing cleanse the valley.
Shai-Hulud vs Rednecks.
This is just an all round great fun creature feature.
It has definitely stood the test of time, and is still as good a film today as when it was released.
Always the best Kat! So fun. I get the feeling Kat would be just as animated about watching other things as well, probably even Looney Tunes "Ohhh not the anvil!" 🤣🤣
Tremors has been a fave of mine since I was a kid. It's a great creature feature with a fun cast and wonderful practical effects.
Burt and Earl (RIP to Fred Ward) return for the sequel, which is also very good. After that, it's a matter of taste.
agreed on matter of taste. i did enjoy 5, 6 and haven't seen 7
I like 1, 2, 3 and 4 (and the TV series), everything since 2004 hasn't felt like genuine Tremors.
I liked all the movies, even though I fully acknowledge that the last few were pretty bad. The first three were the best, and the wild west one was decent enough. The second one was actually a pretty solid sequel.
What a great old gem of a throwback to the '50s isolation monster movies. A perfect cast and a director that knew where the movie was going and stuck to it. Campy and fun. There are many sequals, but only 2 and 3 are worthwhile. Hope you enjoy the whole Tremors universe. Thanks for the reaction.
Tv shows was okay too, had potential at least, but it died before it really got going.
4 is pretty funny in its own right, I'd say
Fred Ward was one of my favorite character actors. His reactions to Kevin Bacon's antics in this movie are priceless. And the movie is a whole lot of fun, too.
Tremors is one of the few perfect creature features - every single thing is set up in the first half and pays off in the second, and the characters have great arcs. It's just... perfection.
Great Reaction Kat! Yes! The little girl is from Jurassic Park!
Tremors is one of those movies that never gets old! Great characters and story lines it just doesn’t miss a heart beat!
I’d like to read The Meg and Meg 2! Jaws Grandfather and Great Grandfather! Meg 2 will be on Max on the 29th.🙏🏻
Great reaction to a fun movie. You’ve turned the mid-week slump into one of the high points of the week - THATS the miracle of this channel 🙂
I LOVE how Cat both cringes from and loves the gore at the same time...
*I get the feeling that everything Kat says during this reaction video would've been said even if she hadn't filmed herself.* Bless her ❤
I think Big Trouble in Little China would be an interesting watch for you. For me they give me a similar vibe. I love them both! Not really a horror but it is a John Carpenter movie.
It never occurred to me before, but this cast of characters totally reminds me of Rescue Rangers. Earl = Chip. Val = Dale. Rhonda = Gadget. Burt = Monterey Jack (kind of a stretch, but they're both adventurers). Who'd be Zipper, though?
12:50 That's a safari caliber.
27:58 That's a reloading device for making new cartridges. A cheap and practical alternative to constantly buying new ammo. Well, the equipment isn't cheap, but it's a practical investment. A long-term versus short-term sort of thing. Burt and Heather play the long game. They're the opposite of Val and Earl who think on their feet. Burt and Heather are strategists. Val and Earl are tacticians. What this story illustrates is that both are necessary for building an effective team.
28:12 (pogo stick)
29:09 Just like skags from Borderlands! Go for those critical hits!
29:34 Notice how Heather doesn't hesitate for even a moment, plus she knows exactly the right tool for the task. Having a full toolbox doesn't do much good if you don't know what's the right tool for the task. Btw, Burt strikes me as a Mordecai main. He also makes and uses explosives, which is a Brick-like trait, but his main preference is for high-powered rifles.
30:21 An 8-gauge double-hammer under-lever safari rifle! Rare and expensive. They ended up breaking the stock during a stunt [ 38:47 ].
33:23 IRL, if you chicken-wing'd an 8-gauge like that, it would injure you. You really have to know what yer doing to handle one of those.
37:55 5.56 won't even phase them. .458 might do something.
38:22 You'd think one of them would have thought to grab some rations to put in that supply bag before they got up on the roof.
41:15 In some parts of the country (like Nevada or my native Indiana), it's not unusual for people to own cannons, typically for celebratory purposes and/or historical reenactments.
44:59 "Can you fly, Bobby?" ~Clarence Boddicker
45:49 In one or more of the later ones, we find out that they were in both People and National Geographic.
46:08 Not only is Burt a good strategist, but he also acts as the team's quartermaster.
48:10 'Freaked', 'Bad Channels', or 'The Ice Pirates'. They're all zany and weird.
This was my first experience with your channel and I just have to say I loved it! You were so into it, and your facial expressions were outstanding. Your commentary was excellent too. I'm pretty sure you would survive something like this because you seemed smart, instinctive, and resourceful. Reminds me a lot of Rhonda from the movie actually. Kat you're absolutely killing it with all these great reactions to classic horror comedies lately. Last straight horror you did as you know was 'Smile', which I guess you took as some kind of directive. 😁
Tremors 2 is fun as well. I love Fred Ward. He reminds me of my dad in these movies. Good catch on the Jurassic Park girl, btw.

Fred Ward was a treasure that went criminally underappreciated through his career.
People under the stairs is such a hidden gem haven't seen any other RUclipsrs reactions yet.... Kat would be great watching it! 😊 Love that movie, was one of my favorites growing up 💕
This movie was made back in the days when practical effects were the norm. If you ever want to find out how some shots were done, there's a special feature on the dvd that is very helpful. I'm guessing that it can be found on RUclips somehow as well.
You're such a fun reactor to watch. Your comments are absolutely hilarious.
Your energy made this even more entertaining. I encourage you to react sequels at least through number 4. It would be fun to watch your reactions to them.
Some little trivia about the film:
"What are they doing?"
Reba was cleaning off the brass to reload it. Burt and Heather are handloaders, part of handloading is saving and cleaning your brass which is what that machine does. It helps prevent it from corroding.
"Is that a shotgun?"
Technically yes, but it also falls into a category of safari guns called Stopping Rifles. It's mean to fell a charging rhino or something running directly at you. That particular gun they used was also used in Ready Or Not (2019). It's the same prop.
In the sequel to this, they use actual plastique explosive to blow up a building for authenticity. Would recommend that as well as the 3rd one, you can skip the rest in the series. (Also 2 has a very important lesson: If you ever see a bomb expert running, *follow them*.)
And when they say "Keep running!", you keep running!
Hey Kat, I'm so glad you got to see Tremors, when you get the chance to check out part 2. there's this cute " It's a small world" scene that happens with the main character that is absolutely cute, unexpected and makes me happy for them, I wont say what it is to not spoil it. it's just as good as the first one with more surprises from the creatures. i believe there are a total of 6 or 7 tremor films. I also want to recommend the film 1988 Night of the demons as well as the 1990 film The people under the stairs
Seven films plus a 13-episode TV series in 2003. Also, Gross has discussed a possible eighth film, but he feels that "Universal Home Entertainment might've had enough of Tremors" so it might not happen. Of course, he's now 76 and while he's in pretty good shape, there's a limit to how long he'll be able to do action scenes.
If you want some horror comedies, Love at First Bite, Young Frankenstein, Dracula Dead and Loving It, Haunted Honeymoon, Eight Legged Freaks, Clue, and Scary Movie are all great. But you should wait to watch Scary Movie until you've seen both Scream, and I Know What You Did Last Summer. It parodies both of them heavily.
Glad to see another reaction from the best reactor on RUclips. The best part of any Wednesday.
Also 'Freaked', 'Bad Channels', and 'The Ice Pirates'. They all have some element of gonzo absurdism.
Jesus, Mayo, and Joseph! Young Frankenstein gets me giggling every time. Frau Blücher. Whiney, whiney.
‘“Squishy orange soda” lol. Another awesome reaction Kat. I bet this was a nice little break from all of the super scary, intense movies you’ve been watching!
@KatWatchesHorror Hi Kat, I wanted to alert you that there’s a fake page using your information. They replied to my comment above. I reported them as spam so hopefully that will block them.
This reaction was such a blast to watch! So much fun. :)
Growing up, I really enjoyed this movie and I'm glad that you did as well.
Another amazing episode. You are the best horror coach. Week Three asking for Fright Night (1985)
I love seeing people get into this one. One of my favorites
This is one of those childhood movies I can quote word for word I've seen it so many times. One of my favorites! Love the reactions!
Enormous fun. Great cast with Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon making a terrific double act. 😁
To get the full experience you need to watch this on a large boulder in the desert wildnerness.
Now you need to watch the rest of the series!
I love her face because she gets a wrapped up in these films it's great lol.❤😂
I love how in this movie the guy that dies near the start of the movie has more personality then entire casts in many horror movies.
As a kid the practical effects in this movie had me in love. I wish the sequels had the same feeling.
Just clicked, this is going to be a fun watch! Love you Kat ❤ 👍
This is one of the movies I grew up with and I still love it to this day, the effects are sooo good and it has the right balance of comedy and suspense imo, love seeing people discover it for the first time
Years ago, I remember watching this movie at the sand dunes with our dates. We had a generator going in the distance so we could watch this movie in the dark.
As we watched, our generator did go out. Just like that scene in the movie!!! But in the movie, it was because of the Tremors monsters! For us, it was a brief technical difficulty.
But it had its rewards. Our dates clung onto us for real fear of Tremors! Those were the good 'ol college days. 👍 -OG
I’m over the moon to see you watch this!!! 🌚🌚Definitely my favorite RUclips channel and person!! So much love and thanks!!❤❤❤
This has been one of my favorite reactions of yours 😊 I love Tremors and you seemed to have a great time watching it. Can't wait to see what else you'll be viewing... your personality is so fun and likeable, you're one of the most entertaining RUclipsrs!
I adore your reactions! I believe there are seven movies in the Tremors series…lots of fun! Burt Gummer rules!
Such a classic movie, I've seen it many times and I felt like I was watching it again here! You're perfect for making this content, with such an expressive face and overt sensitivity to horror elements, this was great fun!
Your puns are exactly what I needed today!! Love your reactions!
I'm not much for horror movies but I really like this one - they throw in some comedy to release the tension only to build it up again. And like many films before CGI, special effects were hard, and expensive, so they doled out bits and pieces, creating suspense rather than blood and guts squirting everywhere until the end.
Enjoyed your reaction. Thanks for sharing.
As a new subscriber, and having watched several of your video's; I would argue based on what I've seen that you no longer hate horror movies, you love them! No one smiles as much as you do watching a horror film or gory scene unless they're genuinely receiving enjoyment out of the entertainment factor. Your RUclips channel name works, I'm not recommending you change anything, but you know that I know that you know that's no longer true, and that puts a smile on my face. 😁👍 Keep on doing what you're doing, and welcome to my world.
"Ohhhh! Squishy! Orange Soda! Explosion of body and everything else!" has to be the weirdest, most random play-by-play ever heard while watching a horror-comedy!
Your reaction to this, definitely 11 out of 10. MARVELLOUS ❤
Agreed!! 11 out of 1 million. I stand by my arbitrary rating scales!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hi Kat! You are just the best, absolutely love it when that notification pops up.
Kat, thank you for always having fun with horror lol. Tremors has always been a favorite of mine and it's just so much fun! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
I love the setups and payoffs in Tremors. Stampede, flying, fixing the bad bearing. Great writing, by someone aware of what was going to happen later.
Next month is the 36 year anniversary of the best horror film ever, Prince of Darkness. Perfect time to watch it. 😉 Your reactions are pure gold. And props for the cow love. Such great animals.
You're fun and witty. Subscribed.
I was cracking up at your descriptions of the "Graboid " (Official name) creature. "A Big Floppy Slug" was one of the best. Certain films have a certain charm and this is definitely one of them.
Best Tremors reaction, cant wait to see more of your videos! Also hoping to see Tremors 2 sometime, these movies are so much fun and never get old
