I was just coming to say this. I've been a TL fan since before they were even in League (which is hilarious because I was a Curse fan in league) and this is also vastly different from my memories of this time LOL. Incredible content though.
C9 was the team that got me interested in professional League back in 2013 and is why I have continued to watch professional League for the past 11 years.
Some of my favorite lolesports memories!! I'm glad someone is making historical and contextual content to allow newer fans to get a glimpse into the hay day of old LCS players and teams along with their storylines. There was an organic beauty to these days as most of the narratives were unplanned and unforced; they just unfolded naturally and gave fans so many reasons to be personally invested in the league.
@@Darkstormsun9865 Piglet literally won S3 Worlds with SKT though??? Like im not gonna pretend he wasn't washed by literally the next year or anything, but he did make worlds

Great video and i love the fact that they highlighted how pivotal and good sneaky is/was as i feel he’s often underlooked. Doublelift himself says that Sneaky deserves more credit and would be held in much higher regard had he played with better supports (in particular later in his career)
As someone who was active in r/lol at the time, this was really well put together from start to finish. Y'all were accurate in the timeline, even highlighting points that I was in the stark minority for having at the time (pre-lung collapse finals mvp hai was the only na mid matching bjerg but shiphtur got the false crown for some reason lol) Big big ups for the sneaky love. Dude was the perfect soloist for Hai to conduct symphonies with 10/10 vid looking forward to more unsung lcs/lec stories if possible
I can definitely see Jon Bois' style and influence in the video, the storytelling, even the use of graphics and charts to indicate the stats, and the way you move around the graphic, it's so reminiscent of the Secret Base videos. I think this style of video definitely has a spot in the ever-growing history of esports. Looking forward to this channel's continuous improvement. Little more work to be made on the editing and the storytelling and you're there. Y'all got potential.
this video was great!! seeing one of the most memorable runs in league esports history presented so well made my younger self so happy. i'm definitely tuned in for whatever you two make next, i'd love to see a video on clg's msi run, imt's 2016 season, or maybe tl's franchising win streak.
Happy to have lived during this time of LCS as I had gotten into league in early 2013 and rapidly became a C9 fan, watched every game of the golden OG roster and miss watching them play dearly. I also just miss the team play of LCS games back then, games nowadays just feel nowhere near as exciting. Great vid guys!
I miss this era of lcs. Not the boring sht we have now. That year as a c9 fan was so monumental to what makes me love this org so fucking much. I’ve been there since the first split and will never change. Flown to LCS finals and watched them win and lose. That’s my mfin team 💙
C9 has got to be the greatest team in LCS history. The memes and storylines from this team are absolute cinema. From regulations to worlds, eliminating the east, elise cocoon in 7, Kaboom!
C9 started in the lcs when i started playing league, they were the new amazing team, that i instantly fell in love with, and i remember vividly watching this gauntlet run on my phone in my bed at the end of summer, and i remember worlds and the amount of people in comments talking in week 1 of worlds that NAs 7th seed is better than all these others teams. If only they could have gotten one more win in week 2... who knows how far they would have gone.
TSM’s miracle run with DL and Bjergsen in 2020 is another great all time LCS run. Lose the first series and slot into losers bracket immediately and then take every series to game 5 to eventually make it all the way to finals and win it in a game 5.
That's the thing, you'll never know when you're living in the good old days! That's why you gotta live every day to the fullest. That way when you put on those rose tented glasses and look back on these days were living right now you can say that these are the good old days.

Very nostalgic video, ROBERTxLee??? havent thought about that guy since middle school, great redemption story for hai, unlucky piglet dif for dom, absolute league CINEMA
