    Just brought my new Civic home tonight. My old car was a 2014 Accord. I loved it. This purchase was to save some money. I hadn't looked at new cars in 10 years. There's no CD player!! 😂😂

      @@GeorgeFhoreThat because according to the company's bean counters (cost savings accountants), we shouldn't demand rear air vents or charging ports on a compact car. In Europe is standard because that's what customers demand, vs U.S.A. is what cost accountants from Honda demand first, cutting costs 🤔.

    This car has no spare tire, no CD player, no rear vents and no USB ports for the back seats! If you have to use that tire repair kit and drive even a short distance on the tire, it ruins the tire and it has to be replaced! They don't tell you this.

    Sorry but the 2025 Civic nose is ugly compared to the 2024, I believe the 2025 Sport Touring trim level may have lost the fog lights with the new fascia design. I haven't found a picture of a 2025 Civic Sport Touring with lower fascia fog lights yet! I ordered a 2024 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring also in Platinum White Pearl March 12th to ensure I would get the better looking 2024 front fascia/nose & I also didn't want a Hybrid. I picked up my new Civic May 17th, so far I'm extremely happy with my choice. I also looked at the 2024 Nightshade Corolla before deciding for the Honda, the Corolla also didn't have the fog lights on the Nightshade edition. The Civic Hatchback Sport Touring has a better overall sportier look than the Nightshade Corolla. Needless to say NO fog lights was the deal breaker for me, the Civic Sport Touring looks so good at night with all the LED's on. O, I did have the factory spoiler added to my Honda & it was dealer installed before I picked up my car!

      @casey6518 3 месяца назад +1

      @@msmarshall854 Your correct, the extra black around the fog lights on the 2024 gives it a better look, why I ordered mine to ensure I got a 2024 with fog lights. My dealer sells a lot Civics as soon as they come in & they usually order a lot of them with manual transmissions instead of CVT's. I'm at the age now I'm past wanting to shift a manual transmission, I prefer to jus cruise with an automatic.

    I like the new updated front end fascia, but I just realized, especially in white, it looks like a Corolla, but better.
    Yes, you can't beat the reliability and longevity of this engine. It has sufficient power, just not the acceleration, but there are at least two aftermarket upgrades to get more performance from tuning or variable throttle response.
    The Sedan is made in Canada, I believe the Hatchback will be made in Kentucky or another state.
    I still like the black trim and wheels of the Sport, but now like the Civic Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback. The Sport Trims should come standard with the black exterior emblems.
    Also, the Sport now has Blind Spot Monitoring and a rear center seat fold down arm rest and cupholders.
    My favorite color for the Sedan is Blue Lagoon Pearl, which should be offered on the HR-V Sport. Next would be the Urban Grey Pearl, formerly Sonic Grey Pearl. On the Hatchback, I would go with Boost Blue Pearl.
    I think overall, this is still one of the best Sporty sedans/hatchbacks in the compact category and lower price, but the Sport Touring Hybrid models upped the ante and Honda knocked it out of the park with a reliable Hybrid drivetrain based on the CR-V/Accord system with much more power than the problematic 1.5L turbo.

    Vehicle to Grid power starting to *REALLY* take off big time in the USA and for obvious reasons (inflation) so as hybrid drive systems now become the norm the question for USA consumers now also suddenly becomes "why should i buy your 2025 hybrid with a plug if it doesn't come standard with Vehicle to Grid power?" answer being no one should be buying any new vehicle in the USA with a plug unless it has vehicle to grid power now as standard and under warranty. I recommend the youtube chanell ambition strikes for a primer as to how much less complex these entire systems have suddenly become starting only right now today this Year 2025 compared to what was/used to be.
