I upgraded from a series 6 to the ultra watch 2 here! I mostly walk n bike! I have diabetes and high blood pressure! Loving the watch ultra 2!
I just bought this. How is it doing this many months later at the time of this comment. I’m surprised I’m getting 2 to almost 3 days with mid brightness and a few background refresh apps turned off.
I got my Ultra 2 before Christmas after upgraded from 6….its a top notch from quality,performance,technology and its iconic rectangular is still amazing!…a lot of people are comparing to an expensive Garmin but sorry guys you cannot compare an Apple to a Banana!….
Thanks for your video, I have an AWU2 coming middle week from Amazon. I hear what you're saying about trade-ins, but I've found that I can buy the Apple device for under MSRP at other places (eg Bh Photo, Amazon, Costco, etc). If I trade for, say, $120, I have to buy the AWU2 from Apple for $799...is that right? I could have it wrong. Anyhow, I got mine to replace my AW7...Amazon had them for $730, then I get another back $35 from AMZN Credit Card so $695; I'll keep the AW7 for dress watch, sleep watch. Thanks for your review of the AWU2...I wish it wasn't such a "wrist pig" but, rather than wait for the anniversary AW10s in September24, I took the plunge now like you did (even though I know that buying two AWs for the same price would literally give me unlimited battery life, no charging downtime at all, two colors, two bands, two chargers, etc. LOL...truth!)✌🏼

I think a healthy forced law for right to repair is to include a free battery swap during ownership of the device. That way you can continue to enjoy it with a refreshed battery.
We live in a materialistic society. This will unfortunately absolutely never happen
@@hubertmosiej It has nothing to do with materialism. It has to do with cost. Companies can't shell out millions to replace batteries that worked as advertised. That's like asking car manufacturers to pay for your gas.
It is a waterproof watch. You cannot change the battery on your own.
@@BrunoDECOURCY To not be able to do it yourself is okay, but the Apple-Cost to swap battey needs to be cut in half! Batterylife is the primary reason people upgrade their watch and it shouldn't be
I used to have a Bell&Ross Marine watch. It costed around 1,000 Euros.
the change of battery costed 200 euros.
If you have the regular Watch, after 2 to 3 years, tour screen will be full of scratches and you'll feel like changing.
But if you have an Watch with sapphire crystal, you'll tend the change the battery because the Watch will be in perfect condition... The cheap model will be changed as they aren't seen as investment. The pricer version will be either kept or given.

Upgrading to Apple Watch Ultra 2 doesn't make sense for me since I already love my Apple Watch Ultra 1.
