I don't know it doesn't really bother me and the parts get cleaned real good before I put it back together. If I was to wash the the axle before taking it apart I would of had to lay in mud.
@@davidcraft4909 That's part of what happened to a lot of them. Filled everything with mud and water, which killed the axles, t-case, and transmission. That and general neglect and outright abuse. I try and baby mine as much as I can.
I know what you mean. I have a vid where I replace everything in the front axle and install chromoly axles, but now I don't want to go mudding as much lol. I don't want to destroy all that money I put into it

Yeah, but it wasn't me I bought my samurai with both axles filled with muddy putty like oil in them, lol.

Wash the damn dirt off-
I wanted to but then I would of had to walk in mud and lay down on it. I should of washed it at the offroad park.
