These instructions also apply to the 83-85 sj410. If you need parts or tech support, log on to www.lowrangeoff... or call 801.805.6644. We are your one stop shop for Suzuki and Toyota Parts.

Is it needed to do the knuckle ball seal last ? Can I do that first the install spindle??

There should be sealant between the spindle and brake caliper adapter, too. Maybe it's on the brake caliper adapter in the video and out of view.

Why didn't you install the brake backing plate. I put everything together watching your video and then realized I didn't put the plates on. Now I'm taking everything apart to put them on. I appreciate your videos but it would be nice if you didn't skip parts.

At which point does the brake backing plate go on?

Many thanks, so it's that oil (grease) seal that sits behind (inboard) the inner hub bearing that allows grease to spin out over the wheel? I didn't realise you have to take the kingpins out to replace the felt and seal on the knuckle. Some work ahead. ATB.

Yeah, somehow I noticed the missing backing plate while watching, then I see Jason's comment -- I wonder if they didn't use it on purpose? I guess it really doesn't serve any purpose with the front disks?? Hmmm...

    Helps: ruclips.net/video/JXUvmfIp_g0/видео.html
When I'm attempting to tighten to 57 ft lb. while rotating the hub, the hub becomes impossible to rotate long before I reach 57 ft. lb. More like 30 ft and then it's no longer rotatable by hand.
It then says to undo the bolt, then put it at 10 ft lb.
So is something wrong with my stuff? Should I just continue to 57 ft. lb while not rotating? Then back it off?
