This really sent a perfect goodbye message to all of us playing and appreciating the work. Fills with emotion and amazing work of rearrangements. I also love the transitions between segments of each song, especially most of them are from Tour (while I'm still unable to play that game, they really gave Tour recognition very nicely despite it being heavily criticized). To end this whole comment. Here's a "credits roll" of my own: • I want to firstly say thank you, TZGaming, for providing these bangers since the very first wave. @@limeanimates I did not know until you pointed it out. Thanks. While it's true that he left, it's uncertain what music he composed in the Booster Course Pass as of for now. Keep in mind that the DLC came out months before his retirement. What if he already had all of his songs planned before the DLC even ended, since his name is in the DLC credits. Plus, there's lots of new composers I didn't mention. Feel free to leave off any corrections or better possible theories if mine's isn't the greatest to you.
I always asked myself the same thing, about why on Wii U there was no postcard at the end of the game, I think that maybe the game was not over yet. RIP mk8 (2014-2023) ❤️
Since MK8 uses the SNES leitmotif on the title theme, it makes perfect sense that the end of Mario Kart 8 ends with a SNES leitmotif. Great job Nintendo!
Now before anyone say "But Mario Kart 64 still has the SNES leitmotif, it's just slowed down", please check your ears and read the notes. Similar but not the same. Majority of past Mario Kart uses the N64 leitmotif than the SNES in terms of tempo. Go speed up the N64 version and tell me that it's the same. I'd say the N64 is its own leitmotif, separating from the SNES.
@@Miguel92398 It's the same. While the notes are slightly different, there's no doubt that Mario Kart 64's title theme is a remix of Super Mario Kart's title theme. It's like how the main motif of the underground theme of Super Mario Bros. is shortened to thee notes in Super Mario Sunshine's Delfino Airstrip theme and yet we can clearly tell it is a remix of the underground theme. So yes, I will say "Mario Kart 64 still has the SNES leitmotif, it's just slowed down," though with some asterisks.

This really feels like an homage to Tour. Which honestly, these Tour devs deserve way more credit and their work deserves to be solidified. This is the credits music Tour never got to have.

This felt like such a heart felt goodbye. This game has gone on strong for over 9 whole years, which honestly an amazing feat. I will be forever greatful to Nintendo for the gem that is Mario Kart 8. Thanks for all the memories you gave to us, Nintendo.
This along with tour was Mario Kart 9 I'm glad they finally took a page out of modders book with CTGP and made their own.... will be playing these for a long time to come. Bring on MKX

@@mii-its-a-nerdI don't think it will be called that. Probably will go back to a name thing instead of numbers. It avoids the "is the next game 9 or 10" controversy, and it won't confuse anyone who avoided Tour, which is claimed to be the 9th game.
Through the bustling center on Coconut Mall, through the lonely and quiet Kalimari desert, celebrating the holidays with Merry Mountain, wading through the Riverside Park, driving through the (disappointing) Sunset Wilds, and giving one last hurrah to 8 Deluxe with Wii Rainbow Road. This is truly the best DLC for a game that I’ve ever seen.
What a beautiful comment dude Every wave of this booster course, from the anticipation to each release, to the countless theories about which tracks were getting in, has been an absolute treat to experience. This dlc has been one HELL of a ride and I'm glad to have spent it with people like you, appreciating all this dlc has to offer. Hope to see you in the comments when 9 comes out in a few decades lol
Once again, It is STILL a Sunset, and that it's just a background gimmick that contributes ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the actual race and course. It's still a decent Desert Course (although I would have preferred GBA Yoshi Desert or even Wii Dry Dry Ruins). Get over it already!
@@b1galbos89it's worth noting that the reason why there is not sunset is because of the way Mario kart 8's lighting works. it is not possible for it to dynamically change mid race like that without significant lag tmk. Tour has a much simpler lighting system so It was able to pull it off.

Part of me wishes their respective tracks sounded as jazzy as they do in this, but the remixes we ended up getting were so fire I can't complain TOO much
0:00 - Kicking it off with the end of the first installment. 0:37 - A shift to the beginning of this DLC journey. 1:07 - Hyping things up a bit with an epic flute solo and electronic beat. 1:32 - One more awesome performance of one of the most loved city track themes of all time. 1:52 - An electronic song gets a brass section glowup with a stunning sax solo. 2:16 - Everything stops, builds up, and gets hype again, plus a trumpet solo that sounds incredible. 2:51 - No words can describe this performance of this beach/baseball/oil field track's theme. 3:18 - The band calms down a little but then they bring out an acoustic guitar and start popping off. 3:49 - A banger finish to the Tour segment of the credits theme. 4:12 - Finishing it all off the same way we finished the first game in the series. What a fricking incredible credits theme.
I must say, this DLC has been a wild ride. Literally. *Wave 1* Some people overlooked the DLC during its first days, likely because it was porting over tracks from Tour. But if anything, I'd say the main selling point was _Wii Coconut Mall_ due to how immensely popular it is. I was mainly excited to have new places to race in. *Wave 2* The hype started to build up. Not only do the more popular tracks make their way in, but _Sky-High Sundae_ is an _original_ track. It's very obvious that _DS Waluigi Pinball_ was the main selling point of this wave. You could tell people were _bouncing off the walls like pinballs to bumpers._ *Wave 3* Ending 2022 with style. It's now clear that this DLC is widely adored, especially with how good the tracks look compared to Tour. Also, items in non-Grand Prix races can now be toggled with Custom Items. My favorite is clearly _3DS Rainbow Road_ which, fittingly, ends the Moon Cup and the 2022 section of the DLC. *Wave 4* New drivers started pouring in. There was only one in this pack (that being _Birdo_ and her colored variants), but the tracks kept coming, and they're all promising. Although people tend to glare at _DS Mario Circuit_ for reasons, I would have to say my favorite track there is _Yoshi's Island_ due to it not just being original, but having proper representation of the Yoshi series. Now the Wario series just needs a (non-Arcade) track... Perhaps in the future ahead of us? *Wave 5* We got three new drivers this time around. _Kamek_ is widely known for having been cut from the ORIGINAL MK8, _Wiggler_ is widely known because...well, Wiggler on Wiggler, and _Petey Piranha_ is a favorite to most if not all. _Wii Moonview Highway_ and _Squeaky Clean Sprint_ are what I'd consider to be my favorites for this wave. _GBA Sunset Wilds_ WAS going to be a favorite, but then it was discovered that it doesn't become night as the race processes. I was bummed out, and I knew people were angry about it. *Wave 6* The very end. Four new drivers came along: _Peachette_ - Toadette with a crown, _Pauline_ - mayor of New Donk City, _Diddy Kong_ - DK's little buddy... and _Funky Kong_ - known as THE most popular character in Mario Kart Wii. No, really. Plus, a whole army of new Mii Racing Suits and a way to listen to track music from the menu. Even if you don't own the DLC, you can still play the DLC track songs! My personal favorite would be _Wii Rainbow Road_ - not only does it end the Spiny Cup, but it ends the 2023 section AND the DLC overall. Plus, all the little tidbits that weren't in Tour were added back. Yes, you still combust into flames as you fall towards the atmosphere of Earth. I had a lot of fun times with all these tracks, and I know y'all can do the same. Also, I have to admit, seeing there being a new credits sequence made me feel emotional...in a good way. It was like the end of a journey - _and it is._ Mad props to Nintendo for piecing together this masterpiece, and all y'all for riding along with them. It's been a real pleasure driving across these 48 tracks. I look forward to the distant future of Mario Kart.
The use of Super Mario Kart's credits caught me off guard. A very good reminder of just how far we've come, just like use of the title screen music in the regular Staff Roll.

I began my Mario Kart 8 journey in 2014 upon release on the Wii U. This game has always brought me joy and im so grateful to be apart of this community and I’m looking forward to see what Nintendo does with the MK franchise.
I remember playing through all the original 32 courses for the first time while my best friend watched. Surprised at how quickly it went, he shouted "We want DLC!" Boy did that wish come true, in spades!
The original credits felt like the end of a racing tournament. This is the end of a journey. The credits background feels like coming home from a world tour, with a collection of the memories made along the way, not just of the DLC, but of the game as a whole. Thank you for nearly a decade of memories, Mario Kart 8. I am incredibly hopeful for the future of the series! Also, fun fact, the original game didn't have a character group photo like the previous game, but now it does! Full circle, baby!
It’s a shame that not every Tour course is included in this banger. I would’ve loved to hear Sydney Sprint, Yoshi’s Island and Squeaky Clean Sprint, just to name a few.

The first time I heard this after completing the final cup of the wave, I was like, "why does the opening sound so familiar?" Then it hit me. When it did, god did I nearly cry. This game truly is amazing and it's crazy it has lasted this long
This is one of the best pieces of music in Nintendo history. It's hard to say whether this is better than the original MK8 credits theme, they both have their pros and cons. But I think this one does a better job giving a Tour (pun intended) of the new songs in the game. And as a saxophonist, of course I love the Singapore Speedway solo. The Vancouver Velocity trumpet solo is also really great. It is cool how they took 2 of the most electronic sounding songs and put live solos over them. Also, everybody is saying goodbye to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and while that might be true for the devs, I don't think it is time for us to say goodbye yet. After 6 YEARS, we finally get to see and play everything this game has to offer.
I mean, it’s got some seriously tough competition from the 3D Mario games, but it’s 100% up there (and definitely the best from Mario Kart specifically)

Wow, this whole song was just an experience to listen to. I absolutely loved every second of it. The beginning with the SNES’s Super Mario Kart credits theme was so perfect. It felt like a true ending and farewell to this amazing game. I am awestruck in wonder. I absolutely loved this. I got chills tho right this whole thing. The ending was so perfect. It got me choked up and in tears a bit. Nintendo thank you so much. You make the video game music.
This DLC is a love letter to Mario Kart fans as well as a proper send-off to both Mario Kart Tour and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. With several country tracks playing, ninja hideaway and sky high sundae, and even the SNES credits theme, this really felt like a final act. THANK YOU NINTENDO! ❤
Dropping Funky Kong and Wii Rainbow Road in the same wave was like the biggest present i could get as a wii fan. funnily it was my birthday not long ago. so happy abt that
I will always love big band, I love how they referenced a lot of Tour songs in the credits since that is why the BCP exists. I really hope future Mario kart games stay live band, or even better, have this group of talented people stay. But overall, thank you Mario Kart 8 for all the memories. I will play this game for the rest of my life
This game went from a slightly lackluster 8 cups to a masterpiece of 24 cups. This game will be a legend for years to come. Goodbye Mario kart 8 and we will wait for the future of this franchise
Lackluster? Do you forget that SMK, MK64 and MKDD only had 4 Cups, totalling 16 Courses? If that happened today, people would constantly complain about such a low number. 8 Cups was the normal amount dating back to MKDS. Getting triple that amount was unexpected and unprecedented. Who knows if that will be done again in future installments.

I love this so much because it gives every instrument ample time in the spotlight. The flute and bass on Ninja Hidaway, the screaming sax on Singapore, the trumpet just having fun and improvising on Vancouver, and the freaking Spanish guitar on Madrid. Just a masterpiece on every way shape and form.
I honestly can't listen to this without tearing up or get shivers down my spine, it is honestly a amazing end to a game I have played during the Wii U era (when it was just called MarioKart 8) This game carried my elementary school years and now in my Sophomore year of High school and this just make me explode with happyness that the Nintendo gave MK8D all the tracks they want in there, and to that I say Thank you Nintendo
We really had the best DLC any game has ever had. We went shopping through Coconut Mall, traversed the high cliffs of Shroom Ridge, We sped through Waluigi Pinball, visited Sydney Sprint, We climbed up Maple Treeway, and went on a dangerous journey through Rainbow Road, We visited Yoshi's Island, and stopped by Singapore Speedway, We took a relaxing break in Squeaky Clean Sprint, and we sped through Koopa Cape's roaring rivers, We saw the view from the peaks of DK Mountain, and now we're here, on the most dangerous Rainbow Road of all time. Thanks, Mario Kart, you did it all.

I still fondly remember the first time i had the chance to play MK8's E3 demo at Best Buy. I was blown away and counted the days to release. A decade later and MK8 turned out even better than my wildest dreams. These staff credits brought a tear to my eye knowing this is truly the end of an era.
I never thought in years i ever heard Vancouver Velocity and Singapore Speedway with jazz fusion, lol. But somehow, it works well. This credit is a celebration of the BCP as a whole and Mario Kart Tour lifetime. It is so beautiful and amazing. It has been 10 years of Mario Kart, and what a great journey it is. It's the best racing game of all time. Thank you for uploading all the music, and I can't wait to see you on the next adventure. Whatever the next game is.
the fact there is no "bam!" done at the end, instead it just elegantly fades away... it does just hit different and echoes that this is the end of a decade long road.
That Ninja Hideaway section is AMAZING, god, what an incredible DLC, doubling the amount of content in game, balancing, and just adding new features, truly amazing.

10 whole year's and now it's finally over what a ride. From it's initial reveal trailer on June 11th 2013 through now November 9th 2023. It's been a blast and now it's time to drive off and head towards the next stop.
We may have reached the finish line of the BCP, but we shall never forget the starting line of the BCP, from when it was first announced, to people getting hyped over Coconut Mall, to those criticizing the Wave 1 graphics, to the datamines, to the overflow of predictions… thank you, Booster Course Pass. You’ve made an already amazing game even more amazing than ever before.
I just realized that MK8 on the WII U originally released when I was in 7th grade. Back then I hadn't had enough money to buy a Wii U, so I mostly watched videos of the game I loved it. At some point in time I eventually could afford the game and played it and I loved it. Fast forward in time The booster course pass released just when I started my carreer to become a programmer... Then there is today... Me playing the last wave of the DLC while having my own home, living a great live and having a full time job as a software developer. I love that this game managed to always be with me throughout my life!
So sad but happy to see it come to an end. I might not have played Tour much, but it is as much a Mario Kart like all the others. And this feels like the credits theme that it would have had. That Vancouver Velocity section though! The Mario Kart band better return for the next!
The people following Mario Kart’s progress since Tour’s release in 2019 can finally rest. This song ends an era and it’s time to wait for whatever’s next.
Man to think that MK8 is now 10 years old blows my mind. I can still vividly remember the Christmas morning where I first got my Wii U with MK8 pre-installed. The Wii U and MK8 was my first gaming experience outside of playing some games on the family PS3 or my old samsung tablet. I remember playing MK8 all the time. Even if I lost a lot I loved the hell out of this game. To think that the game not only got a substantial amount of content on Wii U, but got ported to switch as well was mind blowing in 2017. I remember being so hyped for the switch when I saw MK8 and Splatoon 2 were gonna be on there. Now its been 10 years since MK8 released and I'm practically a different person, yet I still have a huge soft spot for this game and the entire community around this game. I hope Nintendo can capture the magic of MK8 again with the next entry and make it just as impactful for the new generation as it was for me when I was a kid.
So I began crying when I first got to Wii Rainbow Road, then teared up again as the MKTV highlight for the Spiny Cup showed Wii RR, and then when I heard the SNES Credits theme I was a mess. Then I cried again as the credits were almost over. Best 9 and a half years of Mario Kart.
Tbh this was my Mario Kart 9 experience. I remember being so mad that we didn’t get MK9 and just MK8 but with more. Just bought the game a week ago and I’ve finished the booster course today and I loved it. The courses were unfamiliar to me since I know they were from some other Kart game. (Same with MK8 back then where I was unfamiliar with some levels) and this course felt like another game. I was happy wiggler returned and new characters being added (would’ve liked Nabbit.) MK8 specifically was nostalgic to me I had a hard time connecting with this game again but the booster course reignited my spark for this game. Overall 25 dollars well spent. The Booster Course felt like an entire new experience. They could have added only 4 stages but they gave us more.
I got CHILLS listening to this. It's been such a long ride waiting for all the waves to drop, along with MK8's extended lifetime lol. What a fitting farewell! 😍
This song feels like a send off to not only the Booster Course Pass DLC, but also to Mario Kart 8 as a whole. What an amazing decade-long journey it has been ❤️🚗
Man, this is a _really_ good medley. The solos, especially the Madrid Drive one, are so good. I love how it just goes HAM during the Sky-High Sundae part, too. Weird they did that one last, but I guess the idea is that it was the only course featured in the medley to have _debuted_ in the BCP, thus making it the _newest..._ ...even though it's not.
Coming back to listen to this with the news that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has now become Nintendo's best-selling standalone title (I say standalone because Wii Sports *technically* still beats it out, but 99% of Wii Sports sales are because of it being bundled with the Wii, which sold like crazy) Either way, celebrate the insane success MK8D has done.
Can we all appreciate just how much Nintendo improved the graphics and presentation since Wave 1? The courses in the final wave look just as gorgeous as the original 48 tracks, not to mention all the quality of life improvements like actual quarterpipe ramps and ROOM INVITE CODES!
I literally cannot choose which is better, the original staff roll gives me goosebumps with that trumpet at the end, and the BCP one honestly makes me a little emotional with the snes melody. Im convinced to buy the dlc finally, this has won me over 😭
I may have teared up the first time I saw this but the second time I was just dancing and well, celebrating cause this medley is wonderful! Remixing the SNES credits to remeber where it came from and blending the new tour tracks together was so nice i especially love the transitions with Vancouver and Singapore. It’s bittersweet yet heartfelt and I’m happy this game is completed so I can play all these new tracks and characters with friends and family so I’m very happy it concluded the way it did. This has a WAAAY better medley than Sonic Superstars but that’s no shock.
I was really shocked to hear this theme for the first time. Even if this would be the end of Mario Kart as a whole, this was a great way to end it and there’s nobody I’d rather have had these memories than the people I’ve had them with.
I’m glad they chose all the songs they did for the medley! It is so good! Felt like a fever dream. This game will go down in history as one the most revolutionary games of all time!

Similar but not the same. Majority of past Mario Kart uses the N64 leitmotif than the SNES in terms of tempo. Go speed up the N64 version and tell me that it's the same. I'd say the N64 is its own leitmotif, separating from the SNES.

It's like how the main motif of the underground theme of Super Mario Bros. is shortened to thee notes in Super Mario Sunshine's Delfino Airstrip theme and yet we can clearly tell it is a remix of the underground theme.

Through the bustling center on Coconut Mall, through the lonely and quiet Kalimari desert, celebrating the holidays with Merry Mountain, wading through the Riverside Park, driving through the (disappointing) Sunset Wilds, and giving one last hurrah to 8 Deluxe with Wii Rainbow Road. This is truly the best DLC for a game that I’ve ever seen.

Once again, It is STILL a Sunset, and that it's just a background gimmick that contributes ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the actual race and course. It's still a decent Desert Course (although I would have preferred GBA Yoshi Desert or even Wii Dry Dry Ruins). Get over it already!

@@b1galbos89it's worth noting that the reason why there is not sunset is because of the way Mario kart 8's lighting works. it is not possible for it to dynamically change mid race like that without significant lag tmk. Tour has a much simpler lighting system so It was able to pull it off.

2:16 - Everything stops, builds up, and gets hype again, plus a trumpet solo that sounds incredible.
2:51 - No words can describe this performance of this beach/baseball/oil field track's theme.

I must say, this DLC has been a wild ride. Literally.
*Wave 1*
Some people overlooked the DLC during its first days, likely because it was porting over tracks from Tour. But if anything, I'd say the main selling point was _Wii Coconut Mall_ due to how immensely popular it is.
I was mainly excited to have new places to race in.
*Wave 2*
The hype started to build up. Not only do the more popular tracks make their way in, but _Sky-High Sundae_ is an _original_ track.
It's very obvious that _DS Waluigi Pinball_ was the main selling point of this wave. You could tell people were _bouncing off the walls like pinballs to bumpers._
*Wave 3*
Ending 2022 with style. It's now clear that this DLC is widely adored, especially with how good the tracks look compared to Tour. Also, items in non-Grand Prix races can now be toggled with Custom Items.
My favorite is clearly _3DS Rainbow Road_ which, fittingly, ends the Moon Cup and the 2022 section of the DLC.
*Wave 4*
New drivers started pouring in. There was only one in this pack (that being _Birdo_ and her colored variants), but the tracks kept coming, and they're all promising.
Although people tend to glare at _DS Mario Circuit_ for reasons, I would have to say my favorite track there is _Yoshi's Island_ due to it not just being original, but having proper representation of the Yoshi series. Now the Wario series just needs a (non-Arcade) track... Perhaps in the future ahead of us?
*Wave 5*
We got three new drivers this time around. _Kamek_ is widely known for having been cut from the ORIGINAL MK8, _Wiggler_ is widely known because...well, Wiggler on Wiggler, and _Petey Piranha_ is a favorite to most if not all.
_Wii Moonview Highway_ and _Squeaky Clean Sprint_ are what I'd consider to be my favorites for this wave. _GBA Sunset Wilds_ WAS going to be a favorite, but then it was discovered that it doesn't become night as the race processes. I was bummed out, and I knew people were angry about it.
*Wave 6*
The very end. Four new drivers came along: _Peachette_ - Toadette with a crown, _Pauline_ - mayor of New Donk City, _Diddy Kong_ - DK's little buddy... and _Funky Kong_ - known as THE most popular character in Mario Kart Wii. No, really. Plus, a whole army of new Mii Racing Suits and a way to listen to track music from the menu. Even if you don't own the DLC, you can still play the DLC track songs!
My personal favorite would be _Wii Rainbow Road_ - not only does it end the Spiny Cup, but it ends the 2023 section AND the DLC overall. Plus, all the little tidbits that weren't in Tour were added back. Yes, you still combust into flames as you fall towards the atmosphere of Earth.
I had a lot of fun times with all these tracks, and I know y'all can do the same.
Also, I have to admit, seeing there being a new credits sequence made me feel emotional...in a good way. It was like the end of a journey - _and it is._
Mad props to Nintendo for piecing together this masterpiece, and all y'all for riding along with them.
It's been a real pleasure driving across these 48 tracks. I look forward to the distant future of Mario Kart.

I began my Mario Kart 8 journey in 2014 upon release on the Wii U. This game has always brought me joy and im so grateful to be apart of this community and I’m looking forward to see what Nintendo does with the MK franchise.

The original credits felt like the end of a racing tournament. This is the end of a journey. The credits background feels like coming home from a world tour, with a collection of the memories made along the way, not just of the DLC, but of the game as a whole. Thank you for nearly a decade of memories, Mario Kart 8. I am incredibly hopeful for the future of the series!

The first time I heard this after completing the final cup of the wave, I was like, "why does the opening sound so familiar?" Then it hit me.
When it did, god did I nearly cry. This game truly is amazing and it's crazy it has lasted this long
This is one of the best pieces of music in Nintendo history. It's hard to say whether this is better than the original MK8 credits theme, they both have their pros and cons. But I think this one does a better job giving a Tour (pun intended) of the new songs in the game.
And as a saxophonist, of course I love the Singapore Speedway solo. The Vancouver Velocity trumpet solo is also really great. It is cool how they took 2 of the most electronic sounding songs and put live solos over them.
Also, everybody is saying goodbye to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and while that might be true for the devs, I don't think it is time for us to say goodbye yet. After 6 YEARS, we finally get to see and play everything this game has to offer.

Wow, this whole song was just an experience to listen to. I absolutely loved every second of it. The beginning with the SNES’s Super Mario Kart credits theme was so perfect. It felt like a true ending and farewell to this amazing game. I am awestruck in wonder. I absolutely loved this. I got chills tho right this whole thing. The ending was so perfect. It got me choked up and in tears a bit. Nintendo thank you so much. You make the video game music.

As a Sonic fan, listening to this staff roll kind of took me back. This was a great way to end off this game.
This DLC is a love letter to Mario Kart fans as well as a proper send-off to both Mario Kart Tour and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. With several country tracks playing, ninja hideaway and sky high sundae, and even the SNES credits theme, this really felt like a final act.

I will always love big band, I love how they referenced a lot of Tour songs in the credits since that is why the BCP exists. I really hope future Mario kart games stay live band, or even better, have this group of talented people stay. But overall, thank you Mario Kart 8 for all the memories. I will play this game for the rest of my life
This game went from a slightly lackluster 8 cups to a masterpiece of 24 cups. This game will be a legend for years to come. Goodbye Mario kart 8 and we will wait for the future of this franchise
Lackluster? Do you forget that SMK, MK64 and MKDD only had 4 Cups, totalling 16 Courses? If that happened today, people would constantly complain about such a low number. 8 Cups was the normal amount dating back to MKDS. Getting triple that amount was unexpected and unprecedented. Who knows if that will be done again in future installments.

TBH the BCP is better than the base-game, which sounds like it might be a hot take.
I love this so much because it gives every instrument ample time in the spotlight. The flute and bass on Ninja Hidaway, the screaming sax on Singapore, the trumpet just having fun and improvising on Vancouver, and the freaking Spanish guitar on Madrid. Just a masterpiece on every way shape and form.
I honestly can't listen to this without tearing up or get shivers down my spine, it is honestly a amazing end to a game I have played during the Wii U era (when it was just called MarioKart 8)
This game carried my elementary school years and now in my Sophomore year of High school and this just make me explode with happyness that the Nintendo gave MK8D all the tracks they want in there, and to that I say Thank you Nintendo

I still fondly remember the first time i had the chance to play MK8's E3 demo at Best Buy. I was blown away and counted the days to release. A decade later and MK8 turned out even better than my wildest dreams. These staff credits brought a tear to my eye knowing this is truly the end of an era.

I never thought in years i ever heard Vancouver Velocity and Singapore Speedway with jazz fusion, lol. But somehow, it works well. This credit is a celebration of the BCP as a whole and Mario Kart Tour lifetime. It is so beautiful and amazing. It has been 10 years of Mario Kart, and what a great journey it is. It's the best racing game of all time. Thank you for uploading all the music, and I can't wait to see you on the next adventure. Whatever the next game is.

We may have reached the finish line of the BCP, but we shall never forget the starting line of the BCP, from when it was first announced, to people getting hyped over Coconut Mall, to those criticizing the Wave 1 graphics, to the datamines, to the overflow of predictions… thank you, Booster Course Pass. You’ve made an already amazing game even more amazing than ever before.
I just realized that MK8 on the WII U originally released when I was in 7th grade.
Back then I hadn't had enough money to buy a Wii U, so I mostly watched videos of the game I loved it.
At some point in time I eventually could afford the game and played it and I loved it.
Fast forward in time The booster course pass released just when I started my carreer to become a programmer...
Then there is today... Me playing the last wave of the DLC while having my own home, living a great live and having a full time job as a software developer.
I love that this game managed to always be with me throughout my life!
So sad but happy to see it come to an end. I might not have played Tour much, but it is as much a Mario Kart like all the others. And this feels like the credits theme that it would have had. That Vancouver Velocity section though!

Man to think that MK8 is now 10 years old blows my mind. I can still vividly remember the Christmas morning where I first got my Wii U with MK8 pre-installed. The Wii U and MK8 was my first gaming experience outside of playing some games on the family PS3 or my old samsung tablet. I remember playing MK8 all the time. Even if I lost a lot I loved the hell out of this game. To think that the game not only got a substantial amount of content on Wii U, but got ported to switch as well was mind blowing in 2017. I remember being so hyped for the switch when I saw MK8 and Splatoon 2 were gonna be on there. Now its been 10 years since MK8 released and I'm practically a different person, yet I still have a huge soft spot for this game and the entire community around this game. I hope Nintendo can capture the magic of MK8 again with the next entry and make it just as impactful for the new generation as it was for me when I was a kid.

So I began crying when I first got to Wii Rainbow Road, then teared up again as the MKTV highlight for the Spiny Cup showed Wii RR, and then when I heard the SNES Credits theme I was a mess. Then I cried again as the credits were almost over.
Best 9 and a half years of Mario Kart.
Tbh this was my Mario Kart 9 experience. I remember being so mad that we didn’t get MK9 and just MK8 but with more.
Just bought the game a week ago and I’ve finished the booster course today and I loved it. The courses were unfamiliar to me since I know they were from some other Kart game. (Same with MK8 back then where I was unfamiliar with some levels) and this course felt like another game. I was happy wiggler returned and new characters being added (would’ve liked Nabbit.) MK8 specifically was nostalgic to me I had a hard time connecting with this game again but the booster course reignited my spark for this game.
Overall 25 dollars well spent. The Booster Course felt like an entire new experience. They could have added only 4 stages but they gave us more.

I love how it just goes HAM during the Sky-High Sundae part, too. Weird they did that one last, but I guess the idea is that it was the only course featured in the medley to have _debuted_ in the BCP, thus making it the _newest..._ ...even though it's not.

Can we all appreciate just how much Nintendo improved the graphics and presentation since Wave 1? The courses in the final wave look just as gorgeous as the original 48 tracks, not to mention all the quality of life improvements like actual quarterpipe ramps and ROOM INVITE CODES!

I really love the credits. It gives off a feeling of a heartfelt goodbye. This is the end of Mario Kart 8. I think I am going to cry...😭
I literally cannot choose which is better, the original staff roll gives me goosebumps with that trumpet at the end, and the BCP one honestly makes me a little emotional with the snes melody. Im convinced to buy the dlc finally, this has won me over 😭

I may have teared up the first time I saw this but the second time I was just dancing and well, celebrating cause this medley is wonderful! Remixing the SNES credits to remeber where it came from and blending the new tour tracks together was so nice i especially love the transitions with Vancouver and Singapore. It’s bittersweet yet heartfelt and I’m happy this game is completed so I can play all these new tracks and characters with friends and family so I’m very happy it concluded the way it did.
This has a WAAAY better medley than Sonic Superstars but that’s no shock.
I was really shocked to hear this theme for the first time. Even if this would be the end of Mario Kart as a whole, this was a great way to end it and there’s nobody I’d rather have had these memories than the people I’ve had them with.
I’m glad they chose all the songs they did for the medley! It is so good! Felt like a fever dream. This game will go down in history as one the most revolutionary games of all time!
