Honestly, with C2 Furina Bennett is just really good in most teams where you'd use Bennett anyway. It dies make all of those teams a lot more squishy, but the damage is really good
I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of Furina. I try to play Ayato. My Furina deals more damage. I try to play Yoimiya. My Furina deals more damage. I try to play Cyno. My Furina deals more damage. I want to play Hu Tao. Her best team has Furina. She grabs me by the throat. I farm for her. I cook her macaroni. I give her Fav. She isn't satisfied. I give her my R5 Festering Desire. "I don't need this much er" She tells me. "Give me more field time with C6." She grabs Yelan and forces her to throw herself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Splendor." I can't pull for Splendor, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She summons Mademoiselle Crabaletta. She says "Yoo-hoo~" There is no hint of sadness in her eyes. Nothing but pure, unrivaled hydro dmg. What a cruel world
I got my Splendor, but there are still six more copies of Furina to go... And one more of Raiden... And at least one of Arlecchino... Life is just gathering
I'm honestly happy with Furina. She has been the only character that has made me want to try different teams in abyss. I usually just get my 36 stars and forget about abyss until it resets.
same, i got her C3 which makes getting stacks incredibly easy so it has really motivated me to try different teams and ive been able to 36* with most of them been enjoying the random barbara on fielder, noelle hypercarry, hu tao/furina + charlotte, dehya vape, etc she really buffs most characters to the point you can take almost anyone to the abyss and complete it
yeah but overall she sucks because you're only gonna do abyss once every 2 weeks and 99% of your gameplay is being half health in overworld and not being able to use a shield it's just terrible man. makes sense though since she has no divinity, can't rly expect her to match the other gods
@@Frencoh my brother in christ just use a healer Even better furina heals as well For overworld the "bad" part is that shes pretty much overkill, even bosses crumble if you have a dps with an average build since her buff is so massive
As a new player, losing my 50/50 to Jean straight before Furina banner and watching your pre-release pushed me to pull for her, and it's made my in-game experience significantly better. I looked up and figured out actual rotations, have an idea of how to play my teams now and have very clear goals in terms of progression because of just how much stronger she made options that I already play feel.
You’re fortunate with Jean. I’ve been playing since 1.0 and don’t have a single Jean. Meanwhile I’ve got C5 Qiqi, C5 Keqing, C3 Mona, and C1 Diluc. Jean is one of the few characters that if you have makes Furina a viable pull. Congrats.
Aren't newer player not likely to have good healers? Like, I didn't have Bennett until the 4.0 event. To be fair, I only started playing in 3.7 so it's not absurdly long. The thing is that I didn't get him from his rate up banner. I got Lyney instead.
@@madladdie7069there's Barbara, just build tons of ER, preferably prototype amber, and let Furina carry the battery part. Not the greatest but it kinda works.
@@madladdie7069 Yes, but Furina's release also coincided with Bennett in the Starlight shop so you could, so long as you pulled/got lucky enough, you could get Bennett. Especially as a new player since you have a lot of f2p jades from story and exploration and AR.
it's amazing how furina makes pressing a healing skill on a character feel like a real buff. like as if you were putting down a bennett Q, a kazuha swirl etc. now instead of pressing Q on Jean and getting..nothing, you feel like you're doing a lot
I think she's one of the best designed characters in a while. She's not too straightforward like Raiden or Zhongli and not so op to the point that she is the definition of her whole element like Nahida. She makes me feel building a variety of team comps is fun and rewarding again. Last time i have this much fun was back when Kazuha was released.
bro. If anything, she`s just broken. A universal buffer better than kazuha, enabler of Marechauss hunter for many characters, and even her summons are very deadly. Also if she enables wide variety of team comps that`s weak before she came, isn`t that very OP?
@yuelian7663 i wouldn't call that op, her reliance on healer kinda balance it out. It's true she gives much more than any buffers but she also takes more
I mean...she's...VERY OP. She does the same if not more damage than Yelan while providing healing if necessary, a universal Damage buff for THE ENTIRE TEAM for a LONG time and is an off field unit unless C6. Every constellation she has is ridiculously good. She's the subdps buffer variant of Yae Miko: Can be on or off field, can do substantial damage, good off field application of element, fantastic constellations, weapon that's great, but not a general purpose weapon...like, she's just like Yae except instead of focusing on damage primarily, she lowers her overall output to buff alongside that. C6 Yae fully cranked up is far, far more powerful than Raiden. She's ridiculous. You can hit like 3x 200k E crits in rapid succession with a fat ult that doesn't have ICD and can spread/aggravate on top of that while being totally AFK, can be quick swap, on field, driver...whatever. She's literally the best DPS in game and anyone who doesn't realize this, is coping HARD. Every upgrade is fantastic for her and unlike others with great cons like Wanderer: she is very flexible and isn't stuck to one niche. Furina is exactly that, but for hydro. She works in freeze, quickbloom, hyperbloom, vape both forward and reverse, bloom (although the buff would be for her and Nahida, where you'd have Kokomi or Baizhu be a healbot with Nilou, not really recommended but it can work...among other teams like Tazer, and paired with Neuvi for maximum rear-end destruction...sheesh, she can even be put into mono hydro and make it work. She's outrageously good at C0, much like Yae, and gets better and better with investment...like Yae. The only thing is: she's so ridiculous that like Yae, once you unlock her full power, it just is so hard to give up and do something else. It feels like cheating. I have C5 Furina and will be getting C6 and honestly? It will be difficult giving up that level of power for the pleb units lol. I guess when I want to sweat alittle bit in Abyss maybe? She, like Yae, is one of the best investments that you can make for your account. She's very...very OP. I've never been more confident in blowing all of my pulls on a unit. I'm not TOUCHING that disgustingly bad weapon banner, and pray that in 4.6 when she reruns, it'll be ANYTHING but a donut.
I'm so glad Furina works without having to do nornal attacks because they finally made a Tighnari quickbloom team possible without awkward normal attacks in between.
@@rasmuus The problem isn't really the healing but rather getting interrupted. I assume most people would use Kuki so Baizhu providing a shield (even if paper thin) + Healing gives more than enough fanfare stacks and resistance to interruption. Also while I love hyperblooms, I do think it's better if the hydro app is kept to a minimum.
I'm really glad that Furina has been helping people power up their favorite characters. Feels pretty good. I've been having fun with that Raiden quickbloom team. After so many months, my Raiden gets to use her burst for more than just i-frames. Jean was my first 5 Star and has a special place in my heart. Before Furina, the last time I used Jean in abyss or events was electrocharge Thundering Fury Kazuha in the middle of Inazuma's release. Now, I've been using her with Furina, Zhongli and Neuvillette for that comfy abyss run. My Jean also has C2, so I'm trying to think of a Furina team that lets me have some fun with the attack speed buff outside of on-field Yelan. Do I dare try taser or double hydro Eula? Screw it, I'm gonna cook. Pray for my energy requirements cuz I'm not using a 2nd cryo with Eula. (edit: I'm prolly just gonna run a 2nd cryo like Kaeya or Rosaria and leave Furina solo hydro with fav. There is no Mika in Ba Sing Se) (post cooking edit: Yeah, I'm liking Eula, Furina(fav), Jean(Amenoma, 4 VV, HB circlet), Rosaria(fav 4 noblesse) the most. If anyone with C2+ Jean and R1+ Pines Eula wants the rotation, I'm doing Furina E > Q, Rosaria E, Jean E > Q to VV cryo and hydro, Rosaria Q, Eula N2D > N1 > Tap E > Q > N3 > Hold E > N5 > Pray you crit > battery > repeat) Big thanks to Zajef and the editing team for these videos.
My problem with Furina, which really is a first world problem, is that she has SO. MANY. TEAMS. The decision paralysis specifically with her is pretty dang gnarly and I love it. She opened this game up wide open single-handedly.
Wait wait wait. You say that's your problem with her, yet you also say "The decision paralysis. . . is pretty dang gnarly and I love it." Doesn't sound like you have a problem to me. It sounds like you were trying to bait people into reading your opinion.
i'm leveling Noelle too and i'll put Marechaussee Hunter on her, no need to farm specific artifacts. Furina is the most resin efficient unit in the game, because farming Golden Troupe for her, also means that you're farming for almost all main dps for her teams.
@@addie275 It’s much better. Noblesse just isn’t that good, because most other teammates with Furina (including herself) don’t care about the ATK as much. Instructor can work instead, but it’s worse on healing. Maiden’s gives Furina herself more stacks and compliments how well he works in quickswap with her. If you’re using him with another healer so you can use an on-fielder don’t bother with Maiden’s, but it’s actually a viable option. 2pc/2pc healing bonus works fine too, just an actual good use of Maiden’s for once.
That's my floor 12 team. Put in Yelan instead of Benny/Sara because of the Pyro Abyss guy in 12-3-1, and Hydro also does well against the Aberrants' Dendro shields. Jean is also fine as a temporary on field when your stuff is down due to her healing passive, and so I can pre-Swirl Electro and Hydro from Furina and Raiden skills. Raiden also loves having some attack speed to fit in more hits during her burst window, and C2+ Jean (and my "unlucky" Skyward Spine) helps with that.
@KategariYami so I have c3 Raiden and c1 Furina and the damage on my Raiden Furina Yelan Jean team is fucking insane. Along with c2 jean you just Go Fast and everything dies and there's no energy problems lmao
Adding to this, Klee is amazing with furina, Klee is basically what Childe is to Xangling. With a Klee + Kazuha or venti on the team almost every single hit from furina will get vape if done correctly. The damage skyrockets. I personally use Klee, Furina, Baizhu and Kazuha.
@@alexownn382 since yanfei applies much less pyro than klee just use double pyro or play it as is you'll just end up with a burgeon team instead. Which isn't entirely a bad thing since her c4 gives her a shield.
@@alexownn382 yanfei applies enough pyro to vape all furina hits. just remember to farm marechausse for yanfei, since her previous sets like the wanderer's troupe/crimson witch fall behind a lot due to having EM or reaction bonuses as part of their power budgets. and you don't want yanfei to vaporize in such a team... if you use yanfei+furina, you have a couple of good choices for forward vape enabling. you could run kazuha or sucrose, or you could run benny+jean you can also run a dendro unit like nahida, which boosts furina's EM a fk ton for extra vape damage and provides burning to mantain pyro aura. my recommended yanfei+furina teams: -Y+F+nahida(consider proto amber) + benny(requires swaps to heal party) or jean -Y+F+benny and jean (sunfire core) -Y+F+sucrose/kazuha(different rotations for double swirl, but if uncomfortable for you prioritize hydro swirl) + healer(benny/jean) or charlotte if your infused anemo burst can sustain pyro over charlotte's app (which it can if setup correctly) -Y+F+Zhongli(shreds both pyro and hydro) with archaic pretra (grab hydro crystal) OR albedo (no shred but more personal damage that gets buffed by furina) with petra OR golden troupe + benny(harsher rotation) or jean(vv)
@@Heatranoveryou she does, however her ICD is dependant on her summons as they all have separate ICD it's not shared. I believe it's every 3 hits for her seahorse, 2 hits for the squid and no ICD for the crab.
Without a doubt some of my most favourite Furina teams are Quickbloom teams. Thundering Dori, Miko, Lisa and Cyno are incredible. Also liking Freeze Aloy with Furina, with M Hunter on Aloy meaning its a Freeze build that also works at full capacity against Bosses. Gotta love that.
I'm quite liking the Venti/Ganyu/Furina/Charlotte freeze team. It has a bit of trouble maxing out Furina's fanfare stacks quickly, but at the same time, it doesn't lose too much from needing to swap Arkhe alignments on Furina, since Ganyu is passively dealing damage all the time anyway. You also have a bit of time at the end of the rotation to throw out a few charged shots on Ganyu, so she gets the full benefits of Furina's buffs for those.
@@billyespares9355 Sure. Since Furina’s hydro application has such high uptime, she tends to overwhelm any cryo application needed for Venti swirls and infusions, which you really want for VV res shred, swirl AoE damage and energy, so you swap Arkhe alignments to stop her from applying any more hydro. I uploaded a demonstration on my channel a little while ago if you would like to see how the team’s rotation looks.
Furina helped me reach a point where I could consistently 36* abyss. I've really enjoyed using her with hu tao, yelan and baizhu. I like baizhu a bit more than jean because of the resistance interruption, and you get some burgeons which can help with breaking elemental shields and just dealing a bit more damage. Maybe not as strong as jean, but it's more comfortable and still easily can clear one side of abyss
@@harleywilson8829 The abyss switch was like a week after her banner comes out, so people who had prefarmed should have been able to use her on two different abysses already.
Cyno + Furina feels amazinggggggg. She's honestly the last piece to the cyno puzzle with a team like cyno baizhu nahida furina and if your still worried about er or just hate thundering fury like me and use gilded, you can honestly use an er sands for cyno, a little bit less personal damage for A LOT of comfort. Definitely his best team rn.
Personally, I think Eula also gained some value from Furina's release. Eula's issue has always been that her damage distribution is heavily skewed into a 1-shot burst. This meant that even when you hyper invest into her and have 70-80 crit rate, against 3 enemies you'll effectively have a 50% chance to not crit one of them. This may cause you to either have to pause your rotation to kill the straggler OR do a full rotation again while hoping that you can kill the straggler and hit your burst on the next wave - which feels REALLY bad if you don't. This issue, coupled with the difficulty of positioning her burst to hit all enemies, her high ER cost, and need to run specific units makes her not very good overall. HOWEVER, with Furina's release, she has gained the ability to run the Marechaussee Hunter set. This effectively solves her crit issues. Furina also makes Mika, a unit that was already good in Eula teams, have significantly more value. And lastly if you run Rosaria as the last slot on the team, then the team becomes a pseudo-freeze team. This semi-freeze set up allows for more consistency in landing Eula's burst. Rosaria also provides 20% phys shred at C6 which when paired with Eula's built in phys shred it somewhat makes up for the fact that you aren't running superconduct on the team. That said, I am by no means advocating that this is Eula's highest dps set up. I think running superconduct will yield bigger numbers. But it is worth noting how comfortable this teams feels while still dishing out very good damage.
Rosaria's shred is bigger than superconduct, so it has a higher ceiling when you're choosing between them, but of course it's not active 100% of the time so it's hard to say which is better overall.
yeah just getting 66% crit rate from team alone brings a lot of consistency towards Eula teams and with Rosaria and Eula you get 45% resistance shred and as most enemies have only 10% resistance it's not bad. Furthermore triple cryo solves energy issues and grimheart defense bonus means it will be much more difficult to die. On paper it seems good and it doesn't take any meta units from other teams only problem being the players skill issue in how they group up enemies and of course how invested their Eula is. The problem is teams like this were already possible with yelan so it'll really come down to how much of a bonus marechaus brings and how desirable consistency is. It will certainly be better than crit fishing chamber 1 play styles.
I am personally running what I call the double mom tap team. Eula, Raiden, Furina, Mika. I am actually shreding and the energy need it decently fair. My raiden is build as a carry on emblem (c3 and her weapon, raiden simp rolled on 3 of her banners lol) Eula is on Marechausser. With the proper rotation I can do the entire Eula ramp up and burst in Furina burst and get the Raiden intinial burst hit with the max furina stacks before it ends. I destroyed first side of abyss 12 all floors with this team, easily.
@@diokosa7001 the issue with pre-furina is that people didn't really have access to crit rate without running mono cryo and Blizzard Strayer. That or run a Crit rate weapon to which serpent spine was the only available option. Dehya's weapon is the only other option and that weapon was a more recent release and it belongs so a not so great 5 star who will likely never get a rerun. No non-whale player has that weapon. Serpent spine demands that you play with a shield on the team which pushes you to use Zhongli or Diona - further pushing your dps down the drain.
Mono Hydro with Furina, Kokomi, Yelan, Xingqiu was my first mono-element team since I started playing and it's been really refreshing. Very comfortable ER requirements and lots of blue damage, while I get to use 3 characters I really like and one I'm just meh on. Great fun.
Actually having Furina make it easier to play on mobile. I managed to full star abyss for the first time on mobile. Her summons can deal big damage on their on and I don't have to consistenly spam NA like Yelan or Qingqiu which I find hard to do on mobile. so i just have to focus on dodging and rotations which helps a lot.
14:48 im very excited to see lyney teams with furina are getting some attention, because i always thought it would be very fun to slot someone able to do reaction dmg on lyney teams. a team where someone reacts with the pyro aura, while still figuring out how to consistently keep it in place, possibly via burning, but mainly through pyro swirl so that you don’t lose much dmg% from lynsey’s passive (the pyro team members one). unfortunately, i think we’re still missing the rights units for it, because you’d need an off field hitting pyro/dendro/anemo who shields AND heals a lot, because the other slots are furina, lyney, and you have to use xiangling. technically we have baizhu, but i tested the team in the recent event’s domain and it doesn’t feel very good
One thing that can't be stated enough: Furina doesn't just give a universal, better than Kazuha and easier to setup buff...she allows for 36 CR to be added to MANY characters by enabling Mare Hunter on them. Case in point: Hu Tao, Ningguang, Noelle, and others that can make use of it. It's another option, and a very potent one. It's basically giving them a free CR weapon from the BP or something. Crazy good.
I mean, if you get the 36 Cr set you lose any other set those character's could've had, many of which grant 30-50% dmg buff and/or EM/atk%/def% buffs, so it's not that simple, tho 36 cr is generally a better alternative, especially if you can utilize the 15% NA/CA buff as well
I mean, if they can take advantage of it then it's objectively near bis for them. Taking advantage of the 2pc and 4pc, I mean. I don't think you realize how potent having free 72 CV is. For Raiden, it's disgustingly good because she gets literally nothing from her kit and is starved for Crit, yes, you lose out on damage bonus, but remember, you are getting a FAT damage bonus on top of the crit, so Raiden, for example, losing the bonus from Emblem is more than made up for with Furina's buff on top of the added value from the crit. So if you had R1 Raiden you'd get everything that you needed: Crit, ER, ATK, DMG bonus from the ER and Furina... Units like Yoimiya, as well, would very much welcome MareHunter over Shimenawa's, since again, Furina's buff is damage percent, just like most of those bonuses. Having a healer basically full heal and granting max or near max stacks and taking advantage of a universal buff alongside 72 CV is absurd in most cases. Unless specifically they can't take advantage of the 2pc, if they can take advantage of the entire MareHunter set, and Furina's buff it's literally a no brainer. @@RADZIO895
Agreed, for example, in case of Hu Tao, her «signature» Crimson Witch set doesn’t even fully stack, and the 2pc is easily replaced by Furina’s buff, so it’s a win-win situation.
@@marcusaurelius4777 the reason I wrote my comment is that you called it and still call it "free" when it clearly not. You don't have to explain to me that it's good, I get it.
I mean it basically is free CR. Almost every team runs a healer or shielder. I guess the "cost" is being "forced" to use a healer but like...Kuki exists, Bennett exists, Jean exists with VV, Kokomi with Tenacity exists, qiqi with tenacity or nobless exists so it's not like you are "losing" much. Seems "free" to me. @@RADZIO895
17:50 I played a lot of hu tao teams and probably all of the meta ones and I never understood why people say you need a defensive unit (with or without xingqiu and with or without c1 tao). Her sustain is strong enough to the point you don't even need to play good (unless shimenawa which is worse set anyway). I tried the hu tao/furina/yelan/jean teamcomp and I have to say, you are never in a danger of dying, at least not as much as when playing other teams. On top of that this variant is probably the most straightforward and comfy to play. rotations are very easy and the dmg output is just absurd. So I highly recommend tao with furina and don't be discouraged of people saying otherwise.
Sameee, and the fact that 3/4 characters on hutao yelan furina Bennett team have a high ass HP means that even even if it's down to half, it'd be equivalent to 3/4hp bar of a normal 5*
I felt like Sunfire raiden got upgraded with Furina. It felt very smooth to play in my opinion and it was my most efficient team in the 2nd half in floor 12 over hyperbloom.
Yep, he is definitely underestimating it. Jean with full EM VV build and Amenoma is just enough to max Fanfare on your that team and for Jean to contribute nice chunk of dmg to the team with her burst. Energy is not a problem as long as you have decent amount of ER% on your Furina and Bennett
@@Kellexyz Bennett runs whatever bennett wants lol. Jean alone with Amenoma is enough for maxing fanfare, but you might still want to run healing build on bennett for some of more annoying bosses like Cockppelia or her Husband
13:27 You do have a good way to do so. Furina's pets have consistent down times early which allows you to get double swirl quite reliably. For instance the first timing happens about ~3s after skill cast so if you do Dehya E > Furina Q > E > Kazuha Q > Bennett Q > Kazuha E. You get a consistent double swirl. Furina Q > E instead of E > Q is important for the timing, Dehya E is important for the pyro swirl. There is another timing a bit later which can be useful if you use Key Furina but the more you wait the less reliable the swirl becomes so I personally didn't experiment with it.
Does Golden Troupe snapshots? This is bugging me. I always do EQ because I'm afraid that I don't get the Golden Troupe buffs. Furina Burst anim is ~2s duration and 2s is the limit to on-field a character with Golden Troupe.
i've been loving the off field archons team. you just sit back in zhongli's shield and watch nahida, raiden and furina create chaos. I'm also liking the double hydro + kazuha, xiangling vape, hyperbloom... and now i'm trying to build gorou to do a noelle furina team comp. thre's so many options with furina!
One thing that makes Bennett's healing decent with Furina is that even if Bennett heals to over 70% health and under 100%, Furina's self-damage would eventually bring you down to just below 70%, letting Bennett heal to full more consistently, even without C5 or a full healing build.
yeah everybody already knew that, the problem was always how long this would take and this only heals active charachter, so the fanfare stack gaining is slow
@@matheusoliveirmelo in most cases this is still better than not running benny, just because benny's buff is that massive. so furina at 70% fanfare stacks+benny will usually beat a 100% fanfare + not benny buff character. now, c2 furina completely braks this anti-synergy and makes both of them the best buffing duo in the entire game bar none.
@@raulmaltrain6893 The problem is slotting in Furina means you’re losing out on what Xingqiu and Yelan offer. If you’re not maximizing Furina’s stacks, she’s not really an upgrade over the other two. It works, but unless it’s true quickswap (which most Bennett teams aren’t) then it’s not an upgrade and might even be an overall downgrade. It’s like using Mona, where she can buff your damage by a lot visually but in reality can just be hurting clear times. There’s nothing wrong with that, but when discussing the best options he’s just not a “he can still be good” option in most cases.
@@leiah6514 no. when a character can benefit from bennett and furina, it's one of their best teams even if furina is not at full fanfare, that is how big bennett's buff is. take wanderer for example, who runs faruzan and benny 99% of the time: -furina beats yun jin and mika who are his best supports unless wanderer has high cons/signature where NA buffs overtake furina. -now if furina had c2 it's legit his highest dmg team. the teams with furinaC0 and benny are clunky to use since you need to rotate your healing, but even at that clunky-ness, they are numerically at the top. thankfully, i play noelle, so benny is worthless for her there.
@@leiah6514She is always an upgrade unless it's single hydro and you need application for the team to even make sense. Even then she is usually better because she just does that much damage. And on that: Furina is better than xingqui and yelan because; She does more single target damage (granted you get her stacks and burst going) than yelan and xingqui. She does more AOE damage than yelan and xingqui She has more uptime than yelan and xingqui She buffs SIGNIFICANTLY more than yelan and xingqui. These points alone put her on the same bar as them two, but makes her arguebly better. With he release, teams with over 80k dps are more likely to include furina over those two. Just check it. I mean cynos best in slot is now furina, same with double hydro hu tao. She is best in slot for lyney and klee as well (her personal dps, buffing and getting vapes on her already pretty good damage makes her best in slot on those teams), best in slot for neuv (calcs), best in slot for wrio (he gets to vape and she gets to vape, her personal damage makes it wrio best team alone, plus calcs seem to prove this), best in slot for kokomi, best in slot for diluc (he can vape with furina), probably yoi etc. As long as the team has a healer and sometimes even when it doesn't, she is just better.
I play Double Pyro Ningguang with Dehya, Bennett and Furina.... and sure, I mean, you could argue Furina does the heavy lifting in terms of DPSing but Ningguang hitting those Juicy 30k per jade ults and 100k+ charged attacks is so satisfying. I'm loving it.
I enjoy the sunfire RAIDEN furina team (I wanna call it rockstar RAIDEN bc of all the like smoke and bubbles on screen kinda like a concert), this is one of the first teams whose rotation makes sense to me and I can do it decently well
Rockstar Raiden...I'm stealing that just you know. :D So I was wondering why people use Sunfire variant instead of Jean Amenoma/Healing focus build+Yelan? Are these teams identical in strength? Or just preference? I might swap Kazuha's artifacts to jean if this works that well.
@@rolandsteiner5064 im not 100% sure im not a tc'er in the slightest but if its not furina there is no need to run jean and you can use smth different in the slot
It may be a little weird, but this was the first abyss I cleared with Neuvillette, Furina, Baizhu, and Kazuha, and it was alot of fun. I'm looking to grab the Iudex's C1 on his rerun.
I'm so glad you mentioned how Jean can self-swirl and proc the 3rd stck from Neuvillette's passive. I've seen an incredible amount of cope with people running Neuv-Furina-Kazuha-Baizhu teams instead of the Jean variations. Imo, Jean-Fischl are the best team mates for the Neuv-Furina combo. It's actually impressive how often the self-swirl comes up clutch.
I really love playing Furina. I can finally bench Xingqiu completely bc I also have Yelan.(I know Xingqiu is very strong. I just don't like him.) I wish I have Gorou, so I can try Noelle carry team tho.
I honestly couldn’t tell you my favorite Furina team cuz it changes every day like on Fridays for some reason I really vibe with the Furina wanderer teams cuz my wanderer doesn’t have a c6 faruzan. But when I’m feeling lazy (typically a Monday) I just love doing Furina Zhongli and Iudex Neuvillette. One thing is for sure I love her design because it fits her perfectly. Now that she’s a human some may see her as weaker and is more or less an underdog. So it’s fitting that she would help usher in a new era for some of the underdogs of this game!
I tried out Bain-Marie but the ER requirements really are killer. I ended up switching out Xiangling for Thoma (C6) and doing a more straightforward oven team, though, and I'm enjoying the HELL out of that. I don't think Furina's getting her vapes much but it's the first burgeon team I've tried that I've really had fun with, and I really like Wriothesley so it works out great.
Made it to the end! Thanks for the content. Favorite so far = Neuvillette, Fischl, Furina, Jean! However your Kazuha, Fischl, Furina, Kokomi is a close second.
Well, knowing how Zajef hates Genshin’s gacha system, it’s understandable that his favourite unit is a basically free, easily available four star. Still, his main argument in support of Xingqiu - his damage mitigation, is basically wasted at this point and doesn’t matter nearly as much in Furina teams, as you max heal every rotation with a team-wide healer either way.
dmg mitigation isn't the main argument, XQ also has hydro res shred and higher hydro app than yelan or furina. There are teams where XQ works as solo hydro when other, 5* options won't and in teams where there are multiple hydro you still want him for the res shred
@@vladdyru I hate the gacha system too. Its the second biggest problem with this game after Paimon's existence. The problem with the damage mitigation argument is that it selects a specific skill level of play and ignores the rest. If you are an amazing player, you don't need the damage mitigation. If you are a good player, it will help you. If you are average or below, Xingqiu's massive skill cooldown and small skill hitbox will screw you up worse than how much the damage mitigation helps unless you are specifically using either Bennett or Kuki as your healer, because they will cause you to get 1 shot if you don't have it. And Xingqiu isn't basically free. Its harder to get a c6 four star than a c1 five star. Lantern rite is once per year and there's other options. And the starglitter should be spent on fates instead of four star constellations. You are throwing away primogems in the long run by getting constellations on them that you will eventually get anyway. You won't get enough additional primogems from the abyss by getting the constellations to justify that loss.
A team i like a lot is Wnaderer Faruzan Mika Furina. Wanderer with atk speed is so fun and mika being useful is very nice. I don't particularly struggle with survivability because with mika you get a little bit of freeze uptime and the atk speed you get wanderer's free dash more often to dodge and reposition more
I've really been liking the Neuvillette/Furina/Kazuha/Zhongli team a lot, but that's also cause I really like Neuvillette lol I will say, Furina has made me really excited to try out different teams again, which makes her a home run imo
Tazer team really got better this time, i use to avoid them b4 bcoz no dedicated healer (trad tazer), but now with koko n furina, feels really nice to play 😊
I really have been enjoying all sorts of Kokomi teams variations with Furina. I liked the brute force aspect woth Quad Hudro but my favourite was the Fischl Kazuha variation.
Is noone going to mention the 10 1 1 talents on Neuvillette 💀 Also, for me, one of the most satisfying teams is the Neuvillette Furina Zhongli Kazuha, like it feels soooo good for C0 characters with 4star weapons
@@mickysaif Ah yes, the Chinese favorite, I think it was one of the top used teams in that server! But doesn't it feel premium? Like you have made more investment into it than you actually have?
@@mickysaif Yeah, that's what I'm saying, it's a team that performs like you put a lot of investment into it, when you just use characters you already have
Tbh no sane and logical person would disagree with that if the context is C6 Xingqiu vs C0 furina but he's missing a crucial point newer people are more likely to get furina cons than C6 Xingqiu at this rate
about the wanderer team, i got rizzlys weapon so i decided to try it, added mika for heals and atk speed and put wanderer on marechaussee. it can be annoying without a shielder but if pulled of correctly its very strong and fun
I also found it strange, no idea why he came to that conclusion, it’s a straight upgrade over her Zhongli team, and it even significantly outperforms Funerational, while being much easier and comfier to play. Guess Zajef just has an Oppa syndrome and still hates Hu Tao.
I actually unbenched my triple crowned hu tao because furina made her teams feel much nicer (i have no yelan) and she revived my dream of hu tao burgeon comp now that I have a reason to run yaoyao and don't have to burn/burgeon myself to death with nahida. That being said I think I still like neuvifuri comp the most bc delulu
Bennett with 2pc 2pc healing bonus makes it so that he can heal 10k per tick meaning that it's a full heal for most units as they usually end up with around 20k ish HP when fully built. So you can still use him with Furina, since a full duration of her E skill at 20s is a half drain on the team's HP. So swapping once to a character is enough to full heal them for the rotation. Not really good for Hyper Carry teams but then again, you can just use other healers. My personal favorite is Tenacity Qiqi, if you happen to have Freedomsworn, you can toss that on her as well, or, use sac sword not only for ER, but for a second use of her skill to proc Tenacity.
My favorite part of furina is that she gives me a reason to play and soon experiment with physical qiqi for the first time in a while and actually a bit more seriously. The damage from qiqi has still been kinda missing, and her skill cooldown without sac sword isn't great, but the synergy is quite nice and the playstyle is kinda comfy and simple. I haven't tried it in high abyss yet, but the fact that it's a dream that might be in reach (probably not but still) rather than a complete albeit fun meme has been nice.
hyperfridge QIqi got a lot better though. Since Furina as solo hydro isn't enough for a lot of blooms, fridge compensates for it, and it actually kinda becomes a quickfridge team. Qiqi is buffed by Furina's dmg bonus which means the ton of crit stats you get on Ocean hued actually add up, and Ocean Hued Clam is buffed since the max cap is obtained quicker. It also means Nahida's damage gets buffed, and EM Raiden's quickened damage gets buffed. If needed, you can swap back onto Raiden to do some on field hyperblooms/aggravates when the talisman mark is applied. Furina basically meant that not only can you get better clam damage, but also more damage on Nahida in hyperfridge which makes it a quickfridge team.
I tried Furina-Yelan-Jean-Raiden... feels pretty good. I'm intrigued by Bennett as solo healer, but I don't have a healer-focused artifact build for him yet. Indeed, I tried him with a ER/damage build and it doesn't feel great.
Disagree with Noelle Yunjin, it's a great combo - she attacks too slowly to consume Yunjin's stacks even in AOE against 3 enemies. Also, in full AOE, triple Geo comes out on top over double Geo anyways. On the topic of big Furina winners, Ganyu wasn't mentioned (classic zajef bias) but she wins alot more than Ayaka imo. Her lesser synergy with Shenhe means lower opportunity cost swapping her for Charlotte, and unlike Ayaka she can't use Yelan or Xingqiu. Am I saying Ganyu is better/good/bad/whatever? No, but she did benefit a lot from Furina as well which wasn't really mentioned. Morgana this Abyss has been amazing since Venti allows for grouping that lasts over multiple waves so you end up killing multiple waves in one rotation.
While Furina is ok in Ganyu teams, she didnt get upgrade in viabilty. in Boss fights you still prefer burn and in Venti fights morgana is still fine with Mona
@@ixirion I disagree, specifically for multi-wave content, like I said in my comment. Furina makes a huge difference since Mona's buff only lasts through one wave. It's the difference between beating 12-2-1 of current Abyss in 2 rotations vs 3 rotations. It also has better overall and ST damage unless you swap defensive option for Rosaria/Shenhe (arguably not a big deal with Freeze but situations like Pyro Lectors may prove otherwise). You could use Kokomi instead but you lose Furina's DMG buff and personal damage, only letting you take either the buff (Shenhe) or the personal damage (Rosaria). And Furina's single-target makes Freeze team less cope against low HP bosses in Abysses with one boss and two AOE chambers (like previous Abyss top half). Speaking as a dedicated Ganyu main, she is quite the upgrade over Mona.
@@crt137 well after all this explanation my point still stands. she didnt get significant improvement like Noelle for example or Jean. still she is better against bosses with burning and still Venti is main factor for Morgana to work so it depends on his burst and enemies. Many other units improved the same just by adding furina + healer. Zajeff cant mention all. Klee is worth for example mentioning cos she diditn have good vape team. still I agree with your point that Furina is improvement for Ganuy
My favorite Furina team is Tighnari, Raiden, Baizhu and Furina. Like he finally fan do quickbloom and I really like him and this team. I'm really happy with getting both Furina and Baizhu. Ty Zajef for your work!
I think the problem with Bennett still lies with the fact that his burst for healing will only be useful on the even rotations. Because chances are when you make your first rotation your team won't be at below 70% health by the time you swap to the main dps or driver. And his burst doesn't last the longest so you might not even be able to heal someone by the time they get below 70% hp because Bennet burst is something you typically want to do early on in your rotations. Because if you aren't using his attack buff then why are you making a healer Bennet.
Also an after thought I had as well is that even on a healer build you aren't gonna get close to the healing you need to keep Furina high unless you keep her on field in his field for at least 2-3 ticks and then your stealing healing from the rest of your team so if you can I would still recommend a party wide healer that heals a significant bit more and has more secondary buffing utility.
The problem is only the first ever rotation you do when you enter abyss, and it's not a bennett specific issue, because the first rotation will have lower dps for every healer, cuz other healers depend more on it than bennett does. But it doesn't really matter, because it is only 1/6(or however many rotations you need to clear whole floor 12). As for furina being healed by bennett, you just don't do that. Optimal bennett + furina rotations completely avoid healing furina, in order to maximize the bennett's buff uptime.
@@musicaddict9058 Looking at more teams she is used in though. Who really benefits from a Bennett buff though besides Xiangling in a majority of the teams he suggests? Like most of them don't even like to have a pyro on the team in general. I just don't even see him run in many of her teams in the first place and I think it's just a bit odd that even even has to "correct" his statement about it when it just seems a little irrelevant to talk about Bennet in these teams.
In fact, Bennet's teams only have 0.5%-0.6% presence with Furina in the current abyss and the Furinas haver that are with Bennet are on Furina C6 that like to enter reverse vape with Bennet/xiangling according to the YShelper app, so, no. It is wrong to say that Bennet and Furina do not synergize outside of whale speed runs.
@@UndyingNero Monopyro comps in general like bennett + furina, and so does hu tao double hydro. Potentially xiao or wanderer as well, but i don't have them so can't test it, and haven't seen many calcs for those 2 either.
I'm using a budget full Fontaine team: Neuvi, furina, Lynette and Charlotte. Was able to clear abyss with 36 stars without much investment at all. Characters at levels 80/80 ,70/70, 50/50 and 60/60 respectively. Neuvi's normal talents were even at lvl 6.
Personally, i don't share everyones enthusiasm about Furina. Her value heavily depends on what you use/have on account, and she is certainly not a "mustpull" as community pictures her. Esspecially if you want to be optimal about your gems/resources, and want your teams to be synergistic. She brought back healers? Healers weren't popular for a reason, you know. In content with heavy oneshot damage or multiple combo attacks (like beasts) having shield is simply better (not even mentioning int res). And for general content having some dmg reduction source and "Prototype Amber" on any catalyst user is more than enough. If anything, Furinas teams are very vulnerable to oneshots. Outisde of Furina comps, healers still have the same low value, because most of them lack any usefull utility other than being a battery. Jean was always fairly popular specifically because of Sunfire combination and access to VV. But is anyone seriously going to use Mika and Charlotte anywhere, without Furina? She brought back Noelle? Noelle mainers used her regardless of Furinas release. And Furina never fixed main Noelles issue - being geo without any reactions that gets stuck on any elemental shield content (well, and her needing a C6). She opened new teams? Which teams? Another national variation? Mono hydro, in a game about reactions? Seriously? Did we really, desperately needed these? I don't think so. She buffed old teams? She doesnt buff transformative reactions, and in "onfield hypercarry" comps you don't really care about buffing your supports. Having to accomodate Furinas healer in many cases is a downgrade. In freeze comps for example, you have to drop either a Shenhe (huge dps drop) or Kazuha/Venti (ez katka grouping). Her Q is also quite overvalued, with how small the final number actual increase is, and how on C0 you get it only on last 5-6 seconds of rotation (if at all). After tasting C2 - her C0 version feels pretty much dysfunctional. I struggle to find a use for C2 Furina on my main account, as she ruins my main teams there. And on alt with C0 Furina i use her pretty much only in Nevillette comp with Baizhu and Raiden (specifically because Nevi has C1, otherwise id just use Kazuha/Nahida/Raiden).
Neuvillette, Furina, Kazuha, Charlotte is what I've been liking the most, although maybe I am biased because of current abyss... Previous cycle I ran Furina in national and it felt pretty good.
Not a single video without Zajef's brainrot of selling Xingqiu. The brainrot is so deep, I saw many people on reddit wanting to bring Xingqiu against the Hydro tulpa, when half of his kit doesn't even work, just for the "defensive utility". You're just better off with Zhongli or Baizhu at that point.
@@impostorsyndrome1350 What other easily accessible unit provides as much value to an account as xingqiu? And why is it his fault that 1 or 2 reddit users are dumb? He's pretty clear about never wanting to sell the "must-pull, insane damage" 5* units or constellations.
@@adastra5295 as much value??? Xingqiu's value without C2 and C6 is dogsht. His hydro app is meh, and what does Resistance to interruption and damage reduction do? How do they help you clear faster?? For abyss, you need raw damage, and other things tend to be less valuable. In no way shape or form IR and damage reduction is more valuable than 60% dmg increase for your whole team and pretty big damage, especially when you can already put in defensive utility with healers and shielders.
@@impostorsyndrome1350 You didn't even answer the question. This isn't about accounts that can regularly 36* abyss and just want to clear faster. Role consolidation is pretty important so that you don't need to slot other defensive units in some teams. You're underestimating how good resistance and damage reduction is for the average player. I die to field generator and coppelia pretty regularly.
I like furina, fischl, nahida, and my level 20 charlotte team lmao because it contains my three strongest characters and I just like quicken damage. Fischl’s hyperbloom is not consistent but I guess I’ll just count it as a bonus.
I’ve been playing Wrio freeze with Yelan, Furina, and Mika. Mika is on Noblesse with a healing bonus circlet and with C3 his burst heals himself just enough to go from half to full hp triggering Furina’s passive with the aide of Furina’s fanfare. The team is amazing in single target but even in light multi target situations (2-5 ish enemies) he feels just as good since he can freeze them in place and his punches have enough aoe to hit them all grouped up. Especially with aggressive enemies like the samurai.

Oh good one 😂😂
😂😂😂👏👏

Gotta love that.
who else is in that freeze team?

I'm quite liking the Venti/Ganyu/Furina/Charlotte freeze team. It has a bit of trouble maxing out Furina's fanfare stacks quickly, but at the same time, it doesn't lose too much from needing to swap Arkhe alignments on Furina, since Ganyu is passively dealing damage all the time anyway. You also have a bit of time at the end of the rotation to throw out a few charged shots on Ganyu, so she gets the full benefits of Furina's buffs for those.
May I know why you swap Arkhe alignments on Furina?
@@billyespares9355 Sure.
Since Furina’s hydro application has such high uptime, she tends to overwhelm any cryo application needed for Venti swirls and infusions, which you really want for VV res shred, swirl AoE damage and energy, so you swap Arkhe alignments to stop her from applying any more hydro.
I uploaded a demonstration on my channel a little while ago if you would like to see how the team’s rotation looks.
@@codster76 I see, Thanks!!!
Not gonna lie I liked a lot the Cyno, Furina, Baizou, Nahida and the Furina sunfire with Yelan, both of them feel nice.
I mean it's his best team now and "meta" for abyss runs.
@@putent9623 I've been playing that team with Yelan insted since Baizou was released and It alredy was nice.
But now with Furina is even bether
Furina helped me reach a point where I could consistently 36* abyss. I've really enjoyed using her with hu tao, yelan and baizhu. I like baizhu a bit more than jean because of the resistance interruption, and you get some burgeons which can help with breaking elemental shields and just dealing a bit more damage. Maybe not as strong as jean, but it's more comfortable and still easily can clear one side of abyss

Cyno + Furina feels amazinggggggg. She's honestly the last piece to the cyno puzzle with a team like
cyno
baizhu
nahida
furina
and if your still worried about er or just hate thundering fury like me and use gilded, you can honestly use an er sands for cyno, a little bit less personal damage for A LOT of comfort. Definitely his best team rn.
yes. I tried with er sands, very powerful. And with atk sands INSANELY powerful. I have no em sands unfortunately
@@shrimpchris6580 Rosaria is 20%, Superconduct is 40%
I am personally running what I call the double mom tap team.
Great fun.
I tried this team for the first time yesterday and as someone who doesn’t have Jean I’m thankful for it because it’s another viable option.
I watched the Twitch VOD before this was uploaded.... shoutout to the editors who went back and synced the pre-release audio to this post-release!

14:48 im very excited to see lyney teams with furina are getting some attention, because i always thought it would be very fun to slot someone able to do reaction dmg on lyney teams. a team where someone reacts with the pyro aura, while still figuring out how to consistently keep it in place, possibly via burning, but mainly through pyro swirl so that you don’t lose much dmg% from lynsey’s passive (the pyro team members one). unfortunately, i think we’re still missing the rights units for it, because you’d need an off field hitting pyro/dendro/anemo who shields AND heals a lot, because the other slots are furina, lyney, and you have to use xiangling. technically we have baizhu, but i tested the team in the recent event’s domain and it doesn’t feel very good
Furina, Neuvilllette, Baizhu, and Raiden has to be my new favourite team. It feels like cheating how good it is
NOELLE SUPREMACY CONTINUES
finally built her up just for furina and man, i've been having so much fun with the game again

I've been really enjoying Jean/Albedo/Furina/Neuvillette. I just like having Jean and Albedo feel useful again 😄
I felt like Sunfire raiden got upgraded with Furina. It felt very smooth to play in my opinion and it was my most efficient team in the 2nd half in floor 12 over hyperbloom.
Yep, he is definitely underestimating it.

I now want to do a Diluc, Candace, Furina, Baizhu team.
Hell yeah more Diluc mains 🔥🔥
With shieldless wanderer teams, using a dash or jump input to recover faster is pretty important. Doesn't cost stamina either
It only works if your onfielders dont need too much fieldtime or else you you are spending precious seconds swirling pyro after casting benny ult.
i also find it more consistent with c6 bennett as im able to do a quick pyro infused normal on kazuha to swirl pyro
Does Golden Troupe snapshots? This is bugging me. I always do EQ because I'm afraid that I don't get the Golden Troupe buffs. Furina Burst anim is ~2s duration and 2s is the limit to on-field a character with Golden Troupe.

@@leiah6514 no. when a character can benefit from bennett and furina, it's one of their best teams even if furina is not at full fanfare, that is how big bennett's buff is.
take wanderer for example, who runs faruzan and benny 99% of the time:
-furina beats yun jin and mika who are his best supports unless wanderer has high cons/signature where NA buffs overtake furina.
And on that:
Furina is better than xingqui and yelan because;
She does more single target damage (granted you get her stacks and burst going) than yelan and xingqui.
She does more AOE damage than yelan and xingqui
She has more uptime than yelan and xingqui
She buffs SIGNIFICANTLY more than yelan and xingqui.

You can actually build full em on Jean in sunfire due to Bennett’s buff increasing her healing
I just don't like him.)
I wish I have Gorou, so I can try Noelle carry team tho.
Saying Xingqiu is the best unit in the game by far was ridiculous before and its still ridiculous now.
My favorite character = the best unit in the game, just like anyone else. Nothing surprising tbh
@@RADZIO895 That argument ignores the existence of constellations on 5 star units.
A team i like a lot is Wnaderer Faruzan Mika Furina. Wanderer with atk speed is so fun and mika being useful is very nice.
I have been thinking of doing cryo qiqi with Chong's infusion
hyperfridge QIqi got a lot better though.
I've enjoyed Furina, Neuvillette, Baizhu, Raiden! It's a great hybrid of Neuvillette hyper and Hyperbloom!
I tried Furina-Yelan-Jean-Raiden... feels pretty good.
I'm intrigued by Bennett as solo healer, but I don't have a healer-focused artifact build for him yet. Indeed, I tried him with a ER/damage build and it doesn't feel great.
24:49 man really just hit the "RUclipsr apology sigh" when it came to rhe Wanderer section 😭
I really enjoy Jean C3, Yunjin C6, Furina and Ayato. The attack speed buff is hilarious, along with her units attacking, its a machinegun mayhem.
Who is stronger? C6 Dori with Furina, or C0 Keqing on her best team?
Kekwin.
My favorite Furina team is Tighnari, Raiden, Baizhu and Furina.
Like he finally fan do quickbloom and I really like him and this team.
I'm really happy with getting both Furina and Baizhu.
Ty Zajef for your work!
please analyze Navia before Furina goes away QwQ
My guy is actually playing runelite with idle notifications while doing a post release analysis video
Cmon, it's been long time that you only watch him for fun and shouldn't take his verdict serious.
@@bngwwy I don't hate Xingqiu as a unit, I just hate the fact he's selling him like Xingqiu is a godsend unit above all other units
ABOBA
I’ve been playing Wrio freeze with Yelan, Furina, and Mika. Mika is on Noblesse with a healing bonus circlet and with C3 his burst heals himself just enough to go from half to full hp triggering Furina’s passive with the aide of Furina’s fanfare.
The team is amazing in single target but even in light multi target situations (2-5 ish enemies) he feels just as good since he can freeze them in place and his punches have enough aoe to hit them all grouped up. Especially with aggressive enemies like the samurai.
