I like that Zajef talks about enemies designed to kill you right before Hydro Tulpa goes live in Abyss. This thing will oneshot so many bennett enjoyers.
What about the new claymore that will be a reward for that 4.3 event? Tbh sacrificial doesn't look like the way to go, specially when they give her 2 times the use of the skill plus she can't really get much from extending her on field time above 10s 12s.
@@Syokoolyou didnt see the video did you? Poor man spent half the time talking about sac greatsword in depth and its uses and cons, where its useful and where its not. And you out here like you aint heard a single word.
Same, I got 2 R5 Sac sword, let hope it works well with her, if it's not do better than the new free event sword then I'm kinda dissapointed (a bit worry while sac sword doesn't have that 48% atk buff)
Navia : You were expecting Ningguang to be my best teammate but IT WAS ME, NAVIA !! I’m glad that he went with the video title I came up. It’s so hilarious that her best teammate is a copy version of herself, literally. and of course, her current best team is with Xiangling. no one cannot escape OPPA. 😂😂
I said in her reddit sub the moment they show her scaling from attack, that her best team was Navia, Geo, Bennet and Xiaoling and I wasn't going to pull because is the same team as Ninnguang best team and I already used that team in 1.1. People got crazy downvoting. You can find post there of people coping about not using Bennet.
@@neoperol ye, Im skipping Navia. If I want to play atk scaling geo I would use Ning instead and ofc the usual team is Geo, Ben, XL. Fortunately we have countless type of niche meta that doesn't require Bennett anymore but any atk scaling still love him so I'm not too thrilled in using another Ben reliance char I literally have all Geo chara already, I don't need more Geo dps, if navia was Geo Healer I would have use her but Geo DPS id rather use Noelle, I rarely even use itto
@@zeromailss To tell you the true I think Zajeff is a bit wrong about hoyoverse introducing a new type of DPS, Navia's numbers are just meh for Atk scaling, her BiS artifact isn't even her best artifact, or her weapon is way to close to SS and her Kit Buff that encourages to use different elements is lower than just using 2 Pyros. I'm kind of sure that she was a DEF scaling character and because people got mad when she show in the cut scene using the Whiteblind, they change her kit to Atk scaling and now we got the Navia that we got now, that she needs another characer to save her.
@@neoperol Yeah it's not really a new type. She is just Geo Childe or Geo Tighnari. Which is a terrible unit archetype - she is only strong because her multipliers are ridiculous. There is no synergy with existing units (as Zajef said)
navia seems to be a really nice and much needed addition to the current lack luster roster of geo characters. cant wait for the geo nation to be released and make geo a better element :)
The exact scenario you mentioned has kinda occured - Yae came out as a short field time carry, then Tighnari came out with the same role and good synergy
It is Dendro not Tighnari that has good synergy. That’s the problem. Reaction is the only thing that made that team not characters. You can swap Tighnari with Al-Haitam and that will be the same. Unfortunately Geo doesn’t have reactions
@@noahd531 disagree w you there, yes the reaction carries the team but thats like saying hu tao is bad coz she needs to vape. tighnari and yae have really strong synergy and make eachother significantly better, and yae/alhaitham isnt very good. yae prefers aggravate teams w fischl anemo where alhaitham either likes spread or double dendro quickbloom
@@aldrichunfaithful3589I mean, that's the spread team that Alhaitham is best run in. And if anything you proved his point, it isn't about tighnari but dendro, that's why full on Yae carry is better.
@@noahd531 It does, but just one. In a way, I find it a boon for geo since it makes blizzard strayer's 1st half more consistent since the fixed ICD of crystallize stops cryo auras from being overwhelmed. Still sucks that crystallize is a hardly appealing elemental reaction. At least have some corresponding element res shred attached to it so Zhongli's shield is basically a rainbow of crystallized shards + more.
retracing bolide is technically yoimiya's biS 4pc artifact if you want to use her burst every rotation and want a stronger shield. even the design matches her aesthetic so it was probably made for her
zajef, you know, my favourite boss are the ultra mega chicken in sumeru, its hit hard and you can feel it want to kill you, its tank, very agile and fast, and have no weird mechanic. its a simple design choice but man, i like that simplicity
I fear it because sometimes I am just doing my rotation, it does simple to dodge attacks, everything is fine, and then it suddenly chooses violence and one-shots me
i wish Albedo was a healer on top of his current kit itd make it way easier to justify slotting him into teams my idea for it would be that the transient and fatal blossoms to provide healing transient blossoms only heal the on field characters but fatal blossoms are a team heal
Hoyo is just too afraid to give her her own version of Yelan like Yelan to Xingqiu to free her for the other abyss team for people or smth lmao I'm so bored of every best team being National team but abyss primos are primos 😭😭😭
The Benny-Xiangling thing really puts a damper on my excitement for her. I really hope there are more fun and novel competitive teams that will emerge (right here, right now!) after release. I'm likely going to give Mistsplitter another chance to come home, as well as Navia (not guaranteed, but close to pity). My hope is I get Mistsplitter and Navia and run her on the new event weapon or Serpent Spine when it's available, the nightmare scenario is getting Verdict and losing 50/50 on Navia. Unironically the extra rewards from expeditions is nice since there's only 4 characters like that in the game atm (and I have them all), and there are 5 expedition slots ^^
that Bennett Xiangling team he suggested is just a pretty much biased opinion. she will definitely work with a lot of other units and still do well without having the need of those two. you won't be facing high hp opponents everytime you use her nor would it feel good like in overworld to use xiangling. for abyss, then yeah that team will do good but I would say that just as I said, there's others that will work just fine as well.
There’s actually more than 4 characters with expedition talents : Bennett, Fischl, chongyun, keqing, yelan, kuki, cyno. Maybe there’s even more but these are those I have
@@melato4737 No I only care about the ones that have 25% more rewards. Benny and Fischl and a few others have increased speed which is useless since I like to reset my expeditions once a day only. If I'm not mistaken Navia is the 5th character to get this passive.
Zhongli being "bad" wasn't due to his kit, but his element. He has a lot of uses, but geo makes things a lot worse with a lot of mechanics that don't work with geo as for today. Zhongli is good in some compositions and his value dropped bc there was no need of shields when you go unga bunga. Ofc if you fight Coppelia you'll always use Zhongli if you have him.
Atleast her made me take a break of seeing green seeds all over the place, like ngl I miss the colorful crystals on the ground and picking them up for my characters to be colorful until Mono Geo arrives, nostalgic really.
Crystallization works both ways and differently too. It was a tutorial at the very beginning. You can get yellow crystals with yellow attacks and yellow characters. The most colorful effect was electro charged.
@@RKNancyshe's unfortunately not great, at least before c6 she basically has vv shred built into her kit so you don't need an anemo character, but she isn't as good as those anemo units to the point she can fully replace them
@@m_milosyou mean in the beta? AFAIK it's not c6 bounded anymore. Tbh there's no support that works at their 50% at c0, most start to be very good at c4.
@@RKNancythere's no reason to use anemo anyways. The electro charge downside is the same as electro + hydro , it's just a reaction without anything else to it, different from dendro reactions. You can stun and break shields a lot more faster but there was no need to do that with opposite elements gameplay. The real downside of electro charged was the lack of either, pyro or electro supports that shredded resistances and don't steal reactions, with anemo you steal and mess the icd, so you can go Kazuha, Benet, Fischl and will see how bad it is having Kazuha stealing pyro, applying pyro, applying burst and having the pyro or electro application intermittent or not 100% available. For grouping was even less necessary since a lot of pyro and electro characters have aoe attacks.
I would love to pair Navia with Ningguang. Instead of on-fielding with Navia after the first E, you do Ningguang's full combo instead. They can also battery each other plus both of them can benefit from Bennett.
Yeah Ningguang - Navia - Bennett - Mona was the team I theory crafted when Navia's kit and ratios leaked last month, seems really great for nuking boss-type enemies in Abyss.
And if you have a problem with the 12s cooldown from Ning's ult, you can easily take a chunk off that by using NAs from Navia. I think the problem of her ult cd is a bit overestimated, the synergy in practice should be amazing, especially on mobs where you don't even need to stick hard to your rotations because sometimes you won't need a full one to clean up the wave. My Ning is triple crowned and has some very nice gear on her, so if I get Navia I'm very much looking forward to trying them out together (and it will very likely stay that way cuz I just prefer playing with waifus)
on the note of short field time carries, it reminds me of a theory i saw somewhere about hoyo trying to introduce double carry teams since inazuma, since yoimiya, ayato, yae miko and others have a relatively short on field time of about 6 to 7 seconds. I thought that was a bit of a stretch, then there’s dehya, whose kit (according to this theory) is designed to be dual dps support, in the sense that you put down her E most of the time for applications and damage reduction, then use burst when the other dps’ field time runs out to fill the down time. Interesting theory I think, let’s see if such meta would eventually happen.
Good stuff as always! I don't comment on every vid, but always appreciate your content. Been playing since release, and you're the theory crafter on youtube I respect the most. I think you're right about Sac, and that it will lead to her positive perception.
Another thing to think about with the C2 is that the cannon shot from the burst could maybe give you a shard for your next skill Probably not a massive deal but good to keep in mind
Personally gonna run her with an Albedo with some EM investment and play around with mixes of Furina and the Bennet/Xiangling core, Albedo has a lot of potential with her because of the fact that he's Ei but geo in terms of his off field time which allows her to consistently gain crystallize shards while the team is rotating without relying on her burst, and also if you want to put her on her signature set and maximize its value then he can take the triple EM fall and be generating most of the shards. I already see an issue with that set being how flimsy crystallize shields are, practically every single attack will bust your shield and disable the 4p effect in a second if the character generating them isn't built for EM.
Source for that? because everything I find states that like all other reactions, the EM that's used is from the character that triggers it.@@eclipseeffigy
Thanks for the great analysis! Don't know if you care or appreciate the input on this, but in case you do: the pronunciation of 'courteous' is just 'curt-ee-us' (at least in american english).
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Inazuma craftable claymore. High base attack, ER substat, and Skill Damage and energy refund on passive. Seems like it would at least be a contender for her F2P Best in Slot. Edit: I thought it was a 565 base attack weapon, my bad. Still seems decent.
It's not a high base attack, right? It's 42 base atk at level 1 and gives 46% ER, more than needed in a double geo Navia comp, so the energy passive would be useless and the new event claymore would be outright better. But I guess it's a nice option in solo geo
@@dtg9k355 The level 1 damage determines how much it grows. 42 level 1 means 510 level 90, which...isn't that high. I mean, it's not garbage or anything, but no damage substat and only 12% skill damage at R5 doesn't make this a high damage weapon. Serpent Spine has the same base damage but a super cracked passive and crit substat.
So, I just tried that "_0" trick on Project Amber and oh boy am I even _more_ angry at how Dehya was handled. You can tell from the jump that Hoyo's design ethos with her was all wrong. Just letting her scale purely off HP would've done wonders. Anyway, I got 400 rolls saved up, a guaranteed Navia incoming, and "Bfg Division" from DOOM 2016 on standby. Looking forward to ripping and tearing (even if my excitement will forever be sullied by Dehya's release, but I digress). Also, I nominate the following Geo team names: - Cryo: Avalanche - Electro: Sunder or Fracture - Hydro: Landslide - Pyro: Magma Completely free to use. Enjoy. 🙃
Dehya was done so dirty for absolutely no reason… what was even hoyo’s logic behind that? She’s a 5 star, at c0 she’s completely atrocious, and at c6 she’s just okay (I’m talking about her Q damage here, with Fontaine’s release her E damage mitigation and interruption resistance has some uses now). Hoyo should have buffed her if they were so stubborn to keep her as a 5 star. Or they should have demoted her to a 4 star status, at least her cons would be easier to obtain.
I agree, Dehya's stats are lower than a 4star. They probably gutted her numbers when they decided to put her on the standard banner, because the characters there HAS to be bad or people might get happy when they lose the 50/50 and not spend more money.
Absorbing crystalize is such a cool concept and an indirect buff to crystalize reaction since it gives crystalize shards other benefits. Really hope to see similar mechanics in the future.
I think I'm going to pull for Navia based on this, more because I want another team for my Ningguang. Triple crowned, c6, but I barely get to use her because her damage isn't sufficient as main carry. Even if it just makes Ningguang more fun by having a new team variant, I'll be happy ❤
Makes me want to cry knowing that the devs make billions and refuse to improve major aspects of the game, because they have no reason to cause people like you will accept Navia and not question her strength. no offense, i respect the happiness, but its just evidence as to why genshin will never really get better, everyone's satisfied with mid (as long as its pretty) sadface
@@Frencoh what major aspects do you mean? Like qol, endgame, etc? I don't spend $ anymore since I already have enough investment to easily 36*, I just want more ways to play the characters I like, if that makes you feel any better
Yo this was the best prerelease in a while. I never would have thought about 3 E rotations or using Sac, sad that mine’s only R2. I’m also sad about how meh my R2 Unforged still is after all of this time 😭
Iirc you don't get 3 uses always. Being a main Sucrose for a while, I tried sacrificial + her c1 and you can or can not get that 3rd use. And having 3 uses seems kinda meh to me, specially when you can look for a boost in her kit instead of wasting on field time with her E, also when the passive lasts for a long time.
On Genshins release, I told myself that I'd play and build every Geo unit. I'm super excited to try her and she'll def be fun. Doubt she'll be super omega strong but with all the dmg bonuses, I'm ready to see how she operates with any and all atk boosters lol
Based. I have done so as well but I do that for anemo and electro too. Except for noelle... cause building her kinda feels tuff to get myself to do after building itto with perfect husk and c6 gorou with albedo. Wish u luck on this journey. I myself love her animations and her kit so I am pleased even if she's not amasing.
Hmm honestly u did mention a good point, i mean im not a fan of Mona, quite literally hate her always cause barely any teams that benefit from her small time buff ,but like yea a "sorta Navia Hyper" does like Mona, But also....now Furina exists who can do the Mona's job which herself being 100× better unit, so why play Mona ever...,i mean when playing Furina Navia,at that point ud rather just play other good chars than Mona for a lil more Dmg bonus
Now my personal note, reminds me cause of ur comment... Im surprised no one talking about Raiden.. I felt Raiden Navia teams r somewhat nice, cause Raiden is a kind of unit who has some time available where u can fit in Navia's 4-5secs of Dmg window ,and then u get Raiden's energy restore here making Navia go 100% ER which is just a nice lil bonus, chef's kiss
1. Mona's buff window is too short. 2. Monsters having w/e numbers for elemental resistances. There's Furina, who is applying hydro and increasing dmg, and goes well with Navia having to cast her burst first, but doesn't fit in Navia's teams unless we get another hydro healer with widespread healing. Barbara is nice and all but we need a Mika like hydro support that let's us use Furina +Navia, and we don't have that now.
well basically because thats a hyper team and navia does not lend herself to a hyper team. Same thing as why no one uses mona for a tighnari or yaemiko team, cause quickswaps are quickswaps, not hyper carries. Navia is best fitted in a team which has OTHER forms of sustained damage andd field time for her to take. Such as the nation or hot rock etc. Sure mona is a good buffer for navia....but thats all she is, furina buffs navia too andddd does damage andddd buffs the other dmg dealer teammate. But I am sure many people will be running a hyper nuke team for navia, but its not fit for abyss.
it doesn’t really fit into navia’s rotation, you can at most benefit the first E and couple NA but second E is not gonna have the dmg buff, also mona herself struggle with energy so it’s hard to burst every rotation, and her hydro application is kinda cope so if you are also using bennett you are gonna struggle with producing crystallize shards
I've done a bunch of calcs but I didn't even think to consider sac greatsword, honestly. That does change her teambuilding somewhat too. I was pretty unimpressed by the solo geo teams without sac because the ER reqs are so high and you lose damage by giving up geo resonance, but with it there's a lot more of an argument for them. That being said, the team I'm most looking at is Navia/Bennett/Zhongli/Yelan, I think it'll be a lot smoother to play than Furina with relatively similar performance. Definitely gonna try out some other ones though.
Its not navia dps time on field its too short for yelan burst?? Only 4 second geo infusion.. maybe yae miko its better.. she will not have a problem with being on field because navia skill its on cooldown
@@7.adityachandra925 just use your Yelan burst earlier in the rotation. If you're using Sac Greatsword that also gives more effective field time to Navia
Good luck to everyone pulling for Navia. I do hope that Sac Greatsword tech will do well in practice. As always, big thanks to Zajef and the editing team for these videos. Shoutouts to Sam speedrunning this one. 👍
I wouldn't say it's because they are mostly HP scaling. It's more that they are all primarily damage dealers, except Furina who is also a support that does a ton of damage. Inazuma was similar with their 5*s except Raiden, Kokomi and Kazuha. Ayaka, Yoimiya, Itto, Yae and Ayato all have crit ascension.
No, it's because they're DPS meant to synergize with Marechausee with Navia being the exception so far among the 5 star Fontaine DPS. Lyney and Wrio don't scale with HP but have HP manipulation in their kits
I use Neuvillette/Furina/Zhong Li/Jean a lot, because i don't have Nahida to have different options... Now i see Navia's possible teams according to this video and idk what to do... I wanted one team for Neuvi and the other with Navia in the abyss, but they are sharing teammates (Furina essentially). That's sad.
You don't have to play Neuvillette with Furina, he has a lot of options. I had the same issue (wanted to use Furina in both teams) and ended up clearing last abysses with Neuvillette - Zhong li - Kazuha - Fishchl. He can also be played with double electro or even freeze if you have it.
They don't, Navia doesn't go that well with Furina as well she does with other characters. You saw that team in the video, but that means a Benet full hp, not atk. You get the atk boost from consonance but nothing else. In fact Navia is Cyno 2.0 where we have to wait for her best setup yet.
@@SyokoolUsing Bennett with full HP instead of ATK doesn't have anything to do with it being bad, you will at most lose a big vape from his ult and nothing else, and if you're talking about using maiden instead of Noblesse it really isn't needed for him to heal decently enough
I was going to get her regardless, but seeing you be fairly positive on her is just the perfect cherry on top. I love her flexibility and as someone who does have Gorou, I also love how she's not locked into the typical geo team with all those units. Great to see.
I was playing around with Gorou crystallize team with Furina and Albedo. I sometimes forget how thick the crystallize shields can get with the defence buff from Gorou.
From what i listened to, this shouldve been what our cool sumeru girl boss dehya shouldve , such a shame but i guess navia is also one so good for her!
I really don't understand the part about other on-field dps with lots of frontloaded damage. We have a bunch of them already : Hu-tao (9s) field time, Raiden (7s), Eula... Neither goes particularly well with Navia. Also, Raiden and Eula is already a comp with two characters with frontloaded damage, but its pretty copium. So why would having more of them would help Navia?
Anyway I won't pull Navia as I have the feeling she doesn't bring anything to the table : I have the feeling that the best comp have either support that helps the rest of the teams, one-on field damage dealer, and some (maybe none in hyper carry) off-field damage that also helps the rest of the teams. With a unit like Navia, it is pretty hard to do so as 1) buffer that can buff geo and other units are very restricted 2) there is very few units that buff geo and 3) Navia doesn't really help the rest of the team. Hence, often time when playing Navia over another unit you loses damage on the other units. Also her gameplay doesn't had bring something that special over some other characters that I have, like Hu-Tao/Raiden. Though I will pull for Chevreuse
I can't believe that I'm watching the whole video when I even don't plan to pull for Navia but I like Zajef videos so it's a win-win situation, I guess :)
I'm glad that from what we know Navia will be a solid chara but I don't know if I would want to try getting her as she is another on field dps. Geo need more support, not DPS. Imagine Geo healer that can increase your team dmg by the amount of shield dmg you take or by the number of crystalize shield you get or something like that, or maybe like Nilou, this support turn crystalize into a super crystal that either buff your team or deal damage or both
It is worth noting that Navia with Alfredo would be a rare case of the latter's EM buff being somewhat useful. I'd really like an EM scaling Geo character that explodes the crystals when you pick them up. It be even better if said character could draw in the crystals. If they aren't going to rework Geo reactions the least they could do is make it's sole reaction more interesting.

Hear me out: Navia in Hu Tao teams You can do supports, then navia ult, then Hu Tao, and after Hu Tao, go to navia, get 15% cr and also the crystalize shards And repeat
It's a cool idea, but in practice hu tao's uptime is much longer than it says it is due to hitlag extension, and you wouldn't be able to do clean short rotations with navia. Might be worth trying out, but I don't expect much out of it
@@peachypurrfect2955 would who fill the second geo slot...Navia? I'm gonna run Navia/Zhongli/Bennett and then either Raiden or Furina. I don't think Xiangling is a great option personally. Navia won't need the Pyro resonance shell be getting tons of attack buffs anyway. And Xiangling without vape is not very good.
I'm happy that we have a new addition to the geo characters (geo being my fav element even tho it's cope lol), and Navia is pretty cool in the story; however, I guess I'll just stick with Itto and Noelle for now, maybe until we get new characters that may synergize with her.
She'll probably be a great quick swap for Noelle as a battery and supplemental damage. I use a Furina/Noelle/Yun Jin team and am hoping I can slot her in with them
My problem with the consecrated beasts is it's a bunch of minor annoyances in one package and then multiplied when it was 2 or more of them * While their attacks are telegraphed they are large enemies with alot of visual noise that makes it harder to distinguish * They are somewhat tanky enemies that are difficult to stagger * When they are empowered they gain fairly high resistance to elements
To add some things: Stupid lingering Hitboxes that hit you way to often. They push you around if you are unlucky. Like you can dodge as good as you want but if the croco decides to roll to you you either give up a huge amount of stamina to run around it or it pushes you through the room. Either degrouping everything or it pushes you into other attacks that just kill you.
@@idk-sy3iu Yeah that made a lot of sense for a hypercarry Navia. But Chiori needs to do team-wide heal for Furina buffs to reach enough stacks. Then Navia could be comfortably equipped with the Hunters set
She can also work in quicken team with Zhongli. Cuz geo doesn't mess up the elementel reaction and both Zhongli and geo res 15%damage buff increase quicken damage. But you can't a play Nahida or Alheitam cuz they apply to much dendro so there wouldn't be any electro left to crystalize.
I've been playing since launch and this vid convinced me to give my 4 copies of Sac Frag Greatsword a shot. Hopefully it's not cope, but if it is, I still have an Unforged, Serpent Spine, and the new event weapon we'll get if it doesn't.
is it ever viable to use Unforged for example with an ER% sands? you'd have less diminishing returns on your external atk buffs and wouldnt necessarily need an ER% weapon, right?
Going ER% on sands looks like a simple question but is a very tough one. Yeah, you solve most of ER problems with a massive cost of under boosting your character. For characters like Navia that scale on atk, get her necessary ER from all the set substats, not just 1 piece that nerf her instead of helping her.
IT would help a lot if we already knew what Arleccino and Chlorinde kits does. its highly suspicious to have 2x 5 star units left in fontaine , Pyro and Electro , when Chev exists... overload meta forming? they should include GEO in the Chevreuse list of possible elements , overload would be a cool meta for navia, would feel fresh and unique
No, not only 2 unreleased 5*. The leaks talked about at least 1 more that looks like a goth madam, and probably another one from Sumeru and 1 from Mondstat but these last 2 are either 4 or 5 stars.
Noelle really benefits from Navia. She has the highest geo energy generation. Her E is easy to slot in Noelle's rotations. The big E frontload damage compliments Noelle's slower over time on field dps for more balanced party damage. Navia is a perfect side grade to Albedo but without the flower issues. Noelle Navia Furina Yelan/Fischl will be my new main team.
This is probably a silly question but how's Navia with Raiden? Raiden has a relatively short time for an on fielder, she generates good energy to help with Navia's build and she applies off field Electro consistently for Cristalize shields. I can see some good synergy there, but if i start thinking about an actual team for the two characters my brain stops working xD
Yeah that what i thought, but playing attack scaling character without bennet just sounds really bad, you cant even bring kazuha because its only increase raiden damage so your only support option is bennet amd furina, maybe if u can force bennet navia raiden furina and still get raiden initial slash buffed by bennet but im not sure, i will try that team when navia release because its sound stupid and fun
Did you notice? They are pulling Characters/or at least charachter inspired from RWBY Navia - Neopolitan Childe - Qrow Branwen Wriothesley - Yang Xiaolong Fish Weapon from Cafeteria fight scene - Fish Bow and Claymore
I really like yae but really I sometimes find myself in a situation that there's nothing to do I already used yae e and q my buffs are still active don't know what to do at least aggravate is adaptive base dmg bonus so her normal atks can do some dmg is it do the reaction so in the end I happened to use her atks until something goes off but really I really would like someone like yae that helps that free spot
I think traveler geo is going to be better than expected. Their particle gen is not bad and you can get Navia’s ER req down to 120 or so if you get 2 or 3 rocks off. Also their burst gives 10 crit rate and IR which is something.
Geo Traveller + Zhongli is also viable for Noelle teams instead of using Gorou because of the fact it boxes in enemies so they aren't pushed away from Noelle
All I'll say is: my Ningguang does very nice damage, and I say this as someone who never plays Bennett. So I'm confident playing Navia Ningguang with some shenanigans (maybe Mika Furina? Ooh - Kokomi Miko) will not only be fun to play with some of my most favoruite characters, but Ningguang might be able to help generate a lot of Crystalise shards thus helping Navia do the full mega damage. We shall see.
Hey mr Zajeff, I have a question, a bit related to the video... But this is more about how you time your rotations, I'm fairly casual on the game, I clear abussy for the primogems, like a one and done thing, but recently I've been trying stuff especially when Furina came out. I kinda noticed how scuffed my runs are lmao, like Furina E not being on cooldown when I get to her, Jean's Q not available when I just Q'ed on Furina (I know, cringe, skill issue...) and I wanna improve on lining those up. I guess, TLDR would be, do you have tips on how to be mindful of how many seconds have passed when doing rotations? Like do you look on the timer? Or just know when you do certain skills and burst, this amount of time already have passed.
Best way to get a feel for that is to looks at the remaining cooldowns of whatever you're using, and to learn how much time some things last. For example, it's easy for me to know when to swap off childe in international because i do burst into skill, and i use his burst remaining cooldown as a reference. Bro she has the highest base attack in game when she's released. Just so you know the highest base attack for now that navia aint release yet is Xiao with a base attack of 349 at lvl 90 while Navia at lvl 90 is 352
I think Gorou is a bit underated as party member: - gives 20% geo dmg bonus - ads res to interuption - ads 25% def - holds Fav - can be on Noblese or petra or Exile so 20% att or 35 dmg that he can get easily cos of his burst or significantly lowers team ER needs by exile + fav - heals reasonably well with proper build - can proc Furina passive - pulls crystalize = Geo resonace - is a dogy General
- 15% Geo dmg bonus. Not 20% - No direct res to interruption (Crystallize gives res to interruption, it's not a gorou specific thing). - Altough DEF is appreciated and can make crystallize shards more tanky it's not needed since most teams for Navia include a healer anyway. - Most geo supports that work with her hold fav anyway. With the exception of Ning, but she generates a great amount of particles. - I actually like the idea of using exile on Gorou, I will try this. - Again, defensive utility when using a healer + constant crystallize + her high DEF, it turns into overkill utility and no longer needed. Besides, it's really not that big. - Her E pulls crystallize but I can see it being somewhat convenient as there can only be 3 shards at a time and having to pick the up is quite annoying. - Any geo will provide Geo resonance. - We love a doggy general.
@@ThornsDroighorn you are kinda unfamiliar with Gorou kit my friend :) the kit is overly complicated I admit Gorou do give res to interuption 2 Geo characters: Adds "Impregnable" - Increased resistance to interruption. - my mistake he dont give 20% GEO he gives 20% critDMG for 2 geo units - regading the Fav - Navia works with Albedo, Zhong as a supports. Albedo is on Cinabr Zhong Fav is worse than Gorou - smaller radius + less energy generated - Any Geo provides resonance but I compare Gorou as a teammate for Navia not as alternative GEO unit :) -regarding the def not needed I kinda disagree depending on teammates as Zajef mentioned last boss can oneshot you especially with Furina. - also you dont need healer if Gorou and you can go more ofensive units like Furina+Yelan/Yae/Kazuha/Ayato/Fischl or believe it or not Mona + DEHYA!!!! haha. - also Gorou flag works much longer + bigger radius so it will be much easier for crystals.
@@ixirion My dumbass forgot gorou gave different or more buffs depending on how many geo characters are in the party. While I do think that Gorou can be a good unit he's probably going to be a last resort kind of unit, Ie: you don't have any other good geo units. Sure you don't need to invest as much into him but Ningguang gives better or slightly worse results than using Zhongli and even geo traveler provides some utility with his energy regen and crit rate. I definitely see how he can work for Navia but you'd probably be better off taking Gorou and making a Noelle/Itto team and running two geo teams in abyss xd.
im sensing meme thundering fury char. she looks like the type that actually synergizes well with archaic petra support that does decent dmg like how kazuha works as a buffer, but because of him being built for EM does, not sure how much difference the damage they would individually do to consider which is better.
What do we think about Ayato? I feel like he is sort of a short field time dps and then running with yunjin can increase his damage and also generate particles for navia… maybe like a Navia, Ayato, Bennett, Yunjin? his burst also is similar to hers and would trigger lots of crystallize hopefully
Ayato's personal damage is generally just lacking, if you're using him you're always far better playing burgeon, hyperbloom, or Nilou bloom with him. Even more so now with much more damage Neuv does.
@@masajus130k per slash only with his BiS, jade or maintaining Harbinger passive, and that's if you can even reach 30k with only Bennett, his ult and maybe Petra Zhongli if you're willing to grab one crystal that is near... @@zeromailss To tell you the true I think Zajeff is a bit wrong about hoyoverse introducing a new type of DPS, Navia's numbers are just meh for Atk scaling, her BiS artifact isn't even her best artifact, or her weapon is way to close to SS and her Kit Buff that encourages to use different elements is lower than just using 2 Pyros. i'm tired of xiangling being good her gameplay is so BORING
She will work with other units don't worry. My team for her will be with Furina-Charlotte-Layla.
She actually might have many good teams like how we have EULA hyperbloom team which no one expects that kinda team exists
Honestly, they should just make crystallize do universal res shred and let it stack with Zhongli's res shred so he's not useless besides his shield.
Res shreds already do stack. They're just half efficiency below 0%.

Crystallization works both ways and differently too. It was a tutorial at the very beginning.
You can get yellow crystals with yellow attacks and yellow characters. The most colorful effect was electro charged.

@@Syokoolbro, the hoppium in your system is extremely high
I would love to pair Navia with Ningguang. Instead of on-fielding with Navia after the first E, you do Ningguang's full combo instead. They can also battery each other plus both of them can benefit from Bennett.
Yeah Ningguang - Navia - Bennett - Mona was the team I theory crafted when Navia's kit and ratios leaked last month, seems really great for nuking boss-type enemies in Abyss.
I wonder if prototype amber on ning with bennet and furina would work.

Another thing to think about with the C2 is that the cannon shot from the burst could maybe give you a shard for your next skill
Probably not a massive deal but good to keep in mind
it does give you a shard, but only when your burst is not active, since the passive has a cooldown
The EM of the character that picks up the shard is used, not of the one that produced it. EM Albedo ain't working.
Source for that? because everything I find states that like all other reactions, the EM that's used is from the character that triggers it.@@eclipseeffigy

It's not a high base attack, right? It's 42 base atk at level 1 and gives 46% ER, more than needed in a double geo Navia comp, so the energy passive would be useless and the new event claymore would be outright better. But I guess it's a nice option in solo geo

Hoyo should have buffed her if they were so stubborn to keep her as a 5 star. Or they should have demoted her to a 4 star status, at least her cons would be easier to obtain.

There's a more options if you consider using Favonius on the other characters also help the main carry, unless you are using Xingchiu.

Good luck to everyone pulling for Navia. I do hope that Sac Greatsword tech will do well in practice. As always, big thanks to Zajef and the editing team for these videos. Shoutouts to Sam speedrunning this one. 👍
I've been noticing it a bit, but is the reason Fontaine units have (for the most part) CritR% CritD% is because a majority of them scale with HP?
I wouldn't say it's because they are mostly HP scaling. It's more that they are all primarily damage dealers, except Furina who is also a support that does a ton of damage. Inazuma was similar with their 5*s except Raiden, Kokomi and Kazuha. Ayaka, Yoimiya, Itto, Yae and Ayato all have crit ascension.
It’s mostly because they’re dps with health manipulation and marechusee hunter boosts crit.
For those curious. Hyper with Yelan is actually her highest sheeting team that uses Bennett.
I'm not weird for wanting to pull her solely because of her color palette, am I?

Anyway I won't pull Navia as I have the feeling she doesn't bring anything to the table :
I have the feeling that the best comp have either support that helps the rest of the teams, one-on field damage dealer, and some (maybe none in hyper carry) off-field damage that also helps the rest of the teams.
You didnt count in the burst animation and hit lags that extend their on field duration. They re actually close to 11-12 seconds
I can't believe that I'm watching the whole video when I even don't plan to pull for Navia
but I like Zajef videos so it's a win-win situation, I guess :)
You are funny, and good in META.
Great content creator.
I'm glad that from what we know Navia will be a solid chara but I don't know if I would want to try getting her as she is another on field dps.
Geo need more support, not DPS. Imagine Geo healer that can increase your team dmg by the amount of shield dmg you take or by the number of crystalize shield you get or something like that, or maybe like Nilou, this support turn crystalize into a super crystal that either buff your team or deal damage or both
Just imagine if geo could summon golem 😔 hoyo would never do that sadly
Time to wait for Chiori :v
Chiori the new saviour of Geo
There's only 1 Geo DPS that is Itto. Geo needs more DPS
@@nv5116yep geo lack characters
It is worth noting that Navia with Alfredo would be a rare case of the latter's EM buff being somewhat useful. I'd really like an EM scaling Geo character that explodes the crystals when you pick them up. It be even better if said character could draw in the crystals. If they aren't going to rework Geo reactions the least they could do is make it's sole reaction more interesting.
Chiori manefesting hope she's good with and without Navia
How do you expect a geo sup to be good with a non geo character?
The only time this happen is Yun Jin

Thank you for this great pre-analysis! I'm pulling for Navia based on vibes alone (I know I know) but this gives me a little hope I can make her work lol
Hear me out: Navia in Hu Tao teams
You can do supports, then navia ult, then Hu Tao, and after Hu Tao, go to navia, get 15% cr and also the crystalize shards
And repeat
Wait let him cook
As an Alcatraz chef may I also recommend a most refreshing appetizer by replacing HuTao with Yoimiya to take advantage of the atk% buff from her ult.
It's a cool idea, but in practice hu tao's uptime is much longer than it says it is due to hitlag extension, and you wouldn't be able to do clean short rotations with navia. Might be worth trying out, but I don't expect much out of it
Navia/Furina/Yelan/Jean sounds like something I'd enjoy, but I don't want to invoke the bad luck of *asking* for a Jean. LOL
Another onfield character with short field time is Dehya... But...
Zajef is going rightef into my heartef
I look forward to seeing Chinese whales speedrunning with c6 Navia with a Sac :D
I think Raiden will be really good. Quick burst dps, great off field sub dps and application for crystal forming and, of course, universal battery.
would she fill the 2nd geo slot in a bennett xiangling team in this case?
I use a Furina/Noelle/Yun Jin team and am hoping I can slot her in with them
My problem with the consecrated beasts is it's a bunch of minor annoyances in one package and then multiplied when it was 2 or more of them
* While their attacks are telegraphed they are large enemies with alot of visual noise that makes it harder to distinguish
* They are somewhat tanky enemies that are difficult to stagger
* When they are empowered they gain fairly high resistance to elements
To add some things:
Stupid lingering Hitboxes that hit you way to often.
They push you around if you are unlucky. Like you can dodge as good as you want but if the croco decides to roll to you you either give up a huge amount of stamina to run around it or it pushes you through the room. Either degrouping everything or it pushes you into other attacks that just kill you.
I bet Chiori is her best teammate
Imagine if she's another Seenhe but Geo
@@ouroboros6738I think she'll be shenhe but geo, with a smaller buff and that heals (so you can run her with furina)

Finally a true elemental slimes killer.
@@Syokool thanks man, ill do exactly that then
IT would help a lot if we already knew what Arleccino and Chlorinde kits does.
its highly suspicious to have 2x 5 star units left in fontaine , Pyro and Electro , when Chev exists... overload meta forming?
they should include GEO in the Chevreuse list of possible elements , overload would be a cool meta for navia, would feel fresh and unique
No, not only 2 unreleased 5*.
The leaks talked about at least 1 more that looks like a goth madam, and probably another one from Sumeru and 1 from Mondstat but these last 2 are either 4 or 5 stars.
I wanna get her but i aint willing to farm another artifact set
Noelle really benefits from Navia. She has the highest geo energy generation. Her E is easy to slot in Noelle's rotations. The big E frontload damage compliments Noelle's slower over time on field dps for more balanced party damage. Navia is a perfect side grade to Albedo but without the flower issues.
Noelle Navia Furina Yelan/Fischl will be my new main team.
Actually super hyped for her
Wow this guy never change his mic since 2 years ago
Dude screams into a mic a foot away from him. It's insane. He needs to just speak at a normal volume.
HEAR ME OUT! navia + sunfire= Sunglasses
They are pulling Characters/or at least charachter inspired from RWBY
Navia - Neopolitan
Childe - Qrow Branwen
Wriothesley - Yang Xiaolong
Fish Weapon from Cafeteria fight scene - Fish Bow and Claymore
I really like yae but really I sometimes find myself in a situation that there's nothing to do I already used yae e and q my buffs are still active don't know what to do at least aggravate is adaptive base dmg bonus so her normal atks can do some dmg is it do the reaction so in the end I happened to use her atks until something goes off but really I really would like someone like yae that helps that free spot
17:17 is the biggest dehya subtweet I've ever seen
Short field-time carries hmm? *looks over at Dehya* hmmmm 🧐
finally, a use for one of my 4 r5 sac greatswords
I think traveler geo is going to be better than expected. Their particle gen is not bad and you can get Navia’s ER req down to 120 or so if you get 2 or 3 rocks off. Also their burst gives 10 crit rate and IR which is something.
Geo Traveller + Zhongli is also viable for Noelle teams instead of using Gorou because of the fact it boxes in enemies so they aren't pushed away from Noelle
Those Sac Greatsword teams will be fun...
Let him cook!!!
What's XL's ER requirement for those teams?
200% at least
200% is lowballing 240%+ is the recommended
this is how i discover that i have NEVER gotten a sac greatsword on my account
All I'll say is: my Ningguang does very nice damage, and I say this as someone who never plays Bennett. So I'm confident playing Navia Ningguang with some shenanigans (maybe Mika Furina? Ooh - Kokomi Miko) will not only be fun to play with some of my most favoruite characters, but Ningguang might be able to help generate a lot of Crystalise shards thus helping Navia do the full mega damage.
We shall see.
I thinks same, she can play with so many cool characters, untill they do crystalise reactions
Why do you call it Motion Value? Does it have anything to do with moving?
Fontaine, the nation of Hydro, with another unit that wants Bennett Xiangling Deadge.
(Still excited to pull for her though)
You can't escape her
Bennet is a mistake but a good one, good luck with the pulls guys

He can't do that right now. There's too much snow outside.
He just slept in his kitchen.
I highly doubt he will survive in the real world lol, let the dude get the dopamine in his basement
Find yourself some reference points in the teams you play and it should help!
That actually makes sense, thank you! I'll try that.
Bro she has the highest base attack in game when she's released. Just so you know the highest base attack for now that navia aint release yet is Xiao with a base attack of 349 at lvl 90 while Navia at lvl 90 is 352
If she uses sac sword, you would need to generate a fuck ton of crstallise shards (18 or 13 with burst)
I think Gorou is a bit underated as party member:
- gives 20% geo dmg bonus
- ads res to interuption
- ads 25% def
- holds Fav
- can be on Noblese or petra or Exile so 20% att or 35 dmg that he can get easily cos of his burst or significantly lowers team ER needs by exile + fav
- heals reasonably well with proper build - can proc Furina passive
- pulls crystalize
= Geo resonace
- is a dogy General
- 15% Geo dmg bonus. Not 20%
- No direct res to interruption (Crystallize gives res to interruption, it's not a gorou specific thing).
@@ThornsDroighorn you are kinda unfamiliar with Gorou kit my friend :)
the kit is overly complicated I admit
Gorou do give res to interuption
2 Geo characters: Adds "Impregnable" - Increased resistance to interruption.
- my mistake he dont give 20% GEO he gives 20% critDMG for 2 geo units
- regading the Fav - Navia works with Albedo, Zhong as a supports. Albedo is on Cinabr Zhong Fav is worse than Gorou - smaller radius + less energy generated
- Any Geo provides resonance but I compare Gorou as a teammate for Navia not as alternative GEO unit :)
-regarding the def not needed I kinda disagree depending on teammates as Zajef mentioned last boss can oneshot you especially with Furina.
Can't Zhongli just do these, but better

she looks like the type that actually synergizes well with archaic petra support that does decent dmg like how kazuha works as a buffer, but because of him being built for EM does, not sure how much difference the damage they would individually do to consider which is better.
