This video answers the question of China's geographic and geopolitical weakness. In fact, it's the third and finale of the series.

China is the most reliant on trade and is now deeply dependent on it. Without trade it would collapse like a house of cards
As a Chinese person, this is quite well researched and balanced. I enjoyed the 3 pt. series and you definitely deserve a LOT more views. You definitely earned a subscription and like! Look forward to your future content!
Much appreciated!
Love your videos and have been following your channel for a while.
It's content like this that makes broadcast TV obsolete. Your analysis is so well researched and presented so well, it's truly a joy every time one of your videos pops up on my feed.
Thank you!
At filmed 6:32 time both Hainan Island and taiwan belongs to Qing China. Not to be political correct just historical reference needs to be correct.
They were hotbeds of piracy and rebellion. Qing had very loose and periodic control of those islands if any, as the islands were very difficult to defend.
Thanks for the vid man.. Imma enjoy it. Keep up the great work.
It’s hard to put your head into a mindset that sees everything as a threat. I see the island chains as opportunities for trade, tourism and infinite variety. Poor Chinese people.
I am indeed Curious
Very well articulated. This is a good summary to the 3 part series, the 1st focusing more on the land-based geopolitical issues and this one on the sea-based. Well researched and articulated. Kudos.
i love your videos! keep it up
Glad you like them!
I will never understand why westerners try to insist that China doesn't have a robust maritime trading tradition going back millennia. Insular southeast Asia today has an over 50 million strong ethnic Chinese population that never would've gotten there if they came from a society that didn't value maritime exploration and trade. Yes, most of that trade was done within the imperial Chinese tribute system which every state in its vicinity willingly obliged to so it didn't need to be militarized with a naval presence but chinese merchants have always had a powerful presence abroad well before and well after zheng he
Geopraphy?
Most of my toys are from China but there are a bunch of chinese products in the Philippines

Self sufficiency always means powerty, except for the local elite.
I think that once the railway from China to Ukraine is finished, maritime blockades will be unable to stop the free flow of goods and people on the whole Eurasian continent.
Railroads in time of war or hostility have a tendency to derails.

China is an a similar situation as I am. I rely on this narrow public road to get to work. If someone were to block it, it would take me incredible amounts of time to go around. Only I'm not retarded so I'm not getting armed to enforce my right to use that road. I just walk there for decades and will more decades and there won't be any problem. It's that simple.
Thus "China's geography/geopraphy problem" should me really called "China's mental issues"
All I see are videos and news of China problems, yet in reality China continues it's rapid growth. I'm sick of propaganda videos like this.
My wife is from China and while there is propaganda from both sides I'm hearing from her family that the economy isn't what it was (same with the west after the virus).
Every nation has internal weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Discussing them is not propaganda. Nowhere in this video does he say that China will collapse, or anything like that. He is simply saying that there exist some major fault-lines, that's it.
