I try to avoid scent on any part of my skin. They can react with the sun too. Scent rises, so I spray my stomach (on top of my shirt) and behind the knees (on pants). Most expensive perfumes usually last longer than body sprays.
I tried your method with the sandwich layering and added perfume oil on top of my perfume. Needless to say the performance was amazing. I smelled amazing and the projection was beast 😂

I do this with EOS Vanilla Cashmere, a soft fruity vanilla perfume or body spray, and vanilla bean oil. I can smell myself from morning to afternoon and it’s not too powerful for my scent-sensitive coworkers
Don’t use roller balls if you use different scents. The oil will absorbs all the smell and don’t not use lotion.. the oil will pick up the lotion and destroy your oil.
I really do like the eos lotion but you literally can only get half of the lotion out of the bottle. The pump does not get the lotion all the way out when it gets to the end you can turn it upside down, but it’s impossible to get all of the product out unless you cut it open.
I tried this with my vanilla scents, the EOS cashmere lotion, SDJ 71, and coconut oil with Nemat vanilla. Life changing.
Hi I’m a nurse. I recommended spraying be perfume on the fabric of your shirt instead of your neck as it can lead to thyroid problems!

My scents still aren't lasting even with this technique 🫠
You might need a higher quality perfume or something 🤷♀️ best of luck!
