This is the most straightforward explanation on intro to color grading Osmo Action 3 D-log I have found. Thank you! I tried the Final Cut trial but ended up going back to CapCut.
great video! thanks for making it super straightforward and easy, no nonsense and extra talking, just got straight to the point and made it easy to understand!
Thanks. Your tutorial is working 100% on my videos since I tried many things and even edited it manually on CapCut, but it is still not working. And I found this video and it helps!
I am new here in vlogging thing and just bought the pocket 3, expecting to arrive today. Learning in advance. 😅 Please subscribe if travel and useless videos entertain you 😅🤣
Wow this is really helpful to me, I never used the dlog on my pocket 3 I’m a bit worry I don’t know how to colour grade, but watching your video give me some idea how to do it now on my CapCut, happy to bump into your video
@@videowien you done so well and your video is very very helpful to me and to everyone who is start learning how to colour grade their videos or photos
Thanks for this vid.. Shooting in Dlog M is worrying for a rookie like me. And using CapCut is definitely useful for budget minded creators starting out and thanks for the free LUG!
From one RUclipsr to another- I'd like to give you an idea for another video. There isn't much on the different gimbal modes, which one to chose for what scenario etc. It's taking me a while to figure it out with trial and error, so maybe that's an idea for you to share.
thats not a bad Idea :) It works very similar, you can display a histogram and the only big difference its displayed from left to right instead of top to bottom but the principles stay the same
Hey, thanks to share this nice video. I have Pocket 3 for a little time and I'm noticing when I add the Lut on D-Log M clips, they become underexposed by more than 1 aperture. Does this problem happen to you too? Maybe it's better to overexpose by 1 aperture when shooting? Thank you
@@videowien Thank you for replying. I figured it out. I was using the online version for desktop. When I actually downloaded Cap Cut onto my PC, it works exactly as shown.
@@videowien Thanks for your reply. It’s sooo confusing! I’m learning! Maybe I’ll switch to Adobe when my Movavi runs out. Love to see more in depth video on colour grading and also exporting footage in 4k after edit because it’s certainly not easy!
normal colour profile will never be better than a properly graded product. maybe you can check out "d log m footage" or something along those line; graded footage can manipulate alot of emotions 💻
this is honestly all i needed. davinci resolve is way too advanced for me

Very helpful!! Thanks so much.. Never wanted to use log since it looked so hard but you make it look doable 😊

I didn't know about their adjustment layer. I was using "apply to all" but it only works if you have keyframes
it’s great that CapCut has them
Bro how do you do the swish color where you highlight the flat colors into the lut
Sorry what?
I am new to CapCup and the DJI Osmo Action 4. I do like the official LUT, but would like to try yours
Are you using the pocket and the action? :)
@@videowien Just the Action for now. I love the idea of the Pocket, but the fact that there is no water resistance is a deal breaker for me
can you give an example on editing it using filmora?
thats not a bad Idea :) It works very similar, you can display a histogram and the only big difference its displayed from left to right instead of top to bottom but the principles stay the same
Прикольно. Спасибо за советы.
thanks for watching

No in daylight I like to record -0.7 so more the opposite. Not sure maybe its a settings problem for you
I don't have the Adjustment option. Is this now only for Pro users? Thank you
Should be in the free version, check what version you are using
@@videowien Thank you for replying. I figured it out. I was using the online version for desktop. When I actually downloaded Cap Cut onto my PC, it works exactly as shown.
I didn’t even knew LUT‘s 😂 where can I download them for normal and d-log mode?
@@massimo.i.lopéz I explain everything in the video :)
why you have .MOV files? if I export it from my sd card, it only shows .MP4 files.
Default depends on the software version I think but you can change it in the mimo app if you want
is this lut works with dji avata 2 records ?
@@maruanbukowitz2461 yes if you record in d-log m
Can I do this on a iPad ? Never done this before thank you
Yes on any software that allows you to use LUTs
is this work on DJI osmo action 4 footage ?
@@hidupdisolosurakarta yes all d-log m is very similar
Does anyone know how he does the animation when the LUT is dragged over the clip in the beginning?
look up keyframes
How can I add the DJI lut for osmo pocket 3 to Movavi? Any ideas?
I don’t use it but Movavi has a tutorial for adding lots as far as I can tell
@@videowien Thanks for your reply. It’s sooo confusing! I’m learning! Maybe I’ll switch to Adobe when my Movavi runs out. Love to see more in depth video on colour grading and also exporting footage in 4k after edit because it’s certainly not easy!
Is it available at capcut for Android?
Not sure if can display the scopes but the rest should work the same
is lut free?
Watch the video and look in the description
Kannst auf deutsch auch mal ein Video machen?😅😊
Ja mal schauen aber ich glaube aktuell sind noch fast alle Abonnenten English sprachig :)
Just shoot in normal color profile it looks better anyway
the only thing actually better would be auto exposure
normal colour profile will never be better than a properly graded product. maybe you can check out "d log m footage" or something along those line; graded footage can manipulate alot of emotions 💻
The extreme blue false skype color of the graded D-log video is the biggest defdect of Pocket 3 performance. It makes a good video very ugly.
The it’s the lut/grade and not the fault of the camera?
