Claw of Ahamkara gives an additional melee charge that works with Song of Flame. I got a prismatic bond with that and necrotic and it’s been fun both for super and neutral game. I did some quick damage on the ogre and could get 1.2-1.3 mil doing snap, snap, grenade.

@@TargetSniper365 Song of flame is much more versatile and allows for restoration instead of void over shield. Nova will be better though for something like atracks-1

something to try testing, apparently song of flame has a ever so slightly higher dps on single target if you only use the melee and ignore the grenade entirely.
of course you can also add a demo rocket or gl, then you would want to use nade.

I do love how i roll this with apotheosis and star eater along with me blasting dragons breath, really makes for some fun dps cycles
Good thing for this one is adding hellion + class item star eater + veil combo which lets you spam nade and snap after you finished the super. Should do easily 2kk+

curious if spamming phoenix dives during the rotation w/ weavers call would actually increasing the overall damage or not. Could be an alternative to prime stacks for euphony though.

Wonder if something like a demo rocket can be woven into the super, since you are spamming nades, being able to reload a GL or RL may add to DPS. or a fire-and-forget weapon like witherhoard or dragon's breath
i personally think we need a max handling demo rocket for it to work, but it would work pretty nicely if the rocket steadies faster than the abilities can regen
edit: sleepless can roll with slickdraw and demo, i might do some testing later
Might even go with the new stasis GL, pretty much legendary witherhoard. Gets dark meter insanely fast too, so higher transcendence uptime.
what shader is on your call sidearm?
If you have a teammate that can tractor for you, you can also have the Weaver's Call Aspect to add 3 Threadlings to your Phoenix Dive as part of the rotation. I've been running this and it makes Song of Flame feel really powerful but I haven't tested if Star Eaters buff the Threadlings as well.
I wonder what damage would look like if you used the threadling aspect and hellion and threw the phoenix dive into the rotation.
Worse it uses up alot of the super bar. casting helion once at the start of super is more dmg especially if u unravel 1st and use the fragment that adds 10%inc. ability dmg
It's minor but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to start with the melee when activating super in order to prevent clipping. (The delay you get when attempting to melee after throwing a grenade) but you are able to melee then grenade immediately eliminating any clipping. ( I don't know if it actually increased your dps but i know for sure it makes the super feel immensely better)
Supposedly the ignitions that originated from the melee do more damage as well.
So melee then grenade should net more over all damage, plus you can increase its damage with other melee buffs.
can you do a dmg test with the non snap melee, it also gains extra projectiles if you are playing the solar subclass so it can hit at longer ranges but i havnt seen anyone compare its dmg in all the song of flame vids so far

I wondering if you add helion into the combo, how much it could be.
I assume + doing a helion pheonix dive right before DPS it'd be even higher around the 1.7 1.8mill mark

Not to mention the added damage for your team when you pop this super. Hard to calculate your add damage there.
It doesn’t give your team added damage people think it gives radiant it does not. It gives damage resistance and ability regen.

Combo this with a dragon’s breath that reloads with each ignition caused by song of flames and you literally cook bosses 😂

I like this super but does anyone know if someone using something like dragons breath or 1k voices could steal your ignition damage, that would kinda feel bad to have my super damage just canceled out
The Last dmg cycle was basically what I used on my last crota run, I actually simply applied a melee for the Unravel though, as I was Tractor / Oversoul.
I applied in this rotation: Tractor for debuff -> Melee for Unravel -> Storm nade for Jolt -> Pop super and spam -> after 4 Nades reapply Tractor -> finish super -> Spam Scatter Signal -> shoot Oversoul -> deal even morr dmg than LFGs with Lament.
You forgot using your diving to create hellion and threatelings for extra damage, I think it might cause more damage by doing so
Pls make one with aphoteosis and star eater when you get it, I'm trying to farm it but it just won't drop
id really like to see one with a demo rocket and hellion equipped, have a teammate put on tractor instead

Add in demo apex with wolf pack rounds and damage is goofy throw a nade shoot and nades back to repeat till the super runs out

You should try with a class item that has Apotheosis + Star-Eater with Finger Snap and Storm Grenade with Tractor with Facet that Jolts on Arc Grenade damage

Song of flame get buffed if u use verity's brow as well so if u stack both Star eaters and verity's on one single bond you might get really high damage

Hear me out yall. Get either a GL or Rocket with Demo and witherhoard. Have claws of ahamkara or spirit of the claw equiped. For your super you get the extra melee charge.

Ideally that would be the move instead of tractor so eith that combos I'd assume maybe 2.5m would be the average
cry mutiny the gl isnt a bad heavy choice just bad dmg perk but has demo (vorpal weapon)
I was able to get as high as 3.1 mil with this and apotheosis
demo has a 3 second ICD, so thats only 3 reloads. Reconstruction is still better

The dragons breath rotation isnt the highest dmg but i really enjoy it.
Yeah this has been my go to for DPS phases and i constantly rank among the top damage dealers. Stil hunt hunters do more in short phases, but anything that lasts over 10 seconds i am scoring just as high a numbers as people with insane damage rotations, while all i do is shoot rocket, pop super and use grenade and melee.
@@Siegram999 I mean a dragons breath with a scatter signal is on par with envious bas edge transit so there is not many other things in the game that beat it out
Adding in a dragons breath wouldnt hurt at all, sit that thing on your shoulder and shoot when it reload itself from ignitions

not really, demo has a 3 second icd. Recon better.

@@Alckee6904 The rotation for rockets is different with demo. It would be Shoot > Grenade > Shoot > Reload, then repeat. Demo allows you to fire two rockets in quick succession, while with reconstruct, after the first two rockets, you have to wait 4 seconds (3.5 w/ enhanced) in between every rocket.

The one thing I don’t like about the new warlock super is there is literally no reason to use any other warlock super 😂
Needle and nova are super strong, just depends on what your using them for
novabomb does more dmg. with star eater the one and done cast of VB does about 700k dmg. and it only takes 3 seconds. pair that with veil mod on the class item as well with weaken +jolt and you will do about 1.6m dmg in less time but who is gonna jump through all these hoops on ever super use. if we simply compare the super its self with weaken nade for 4 seconds. novabom is better. unless there are a shit ton of add over a large area then a roaming super is better.
moral of the story both do great dmg one is better for burst and sustained dmg and the other is better for long fights or fights spread over a large area. either way cant go wrong.

This is absolutely nuts. Since dinal shape ive only played titan. Which i feel is the wrakest of the 3. Hunter is strong, but seeing warlock here its cooking... through in dragons breath in the rotation that will cook together
Roaming supers SHOULD do the most damage as they take forever to get damage out. Their dps is garbage.
This super shines even more with Dragon's Breath. Trust. (Even without the catalyst).
Transcendence Nade into Ult on top is even meatier.
Like, me and my friend, we duoed Grasp a few days ago and I was playing Warlock and he Titan.
He used Strand with synthosteps (Idk the whole details of the build, cause I don't main Titan) and he was doing around 2.2 mil - 2.6 mil
I on the other hand with trance. Song of flame with Dragon's Breath + Getaway Artist + Bleak watcher was pulling 3.6 mil CONSISTNTLY. And that every Boss fight. (Well not just one Dmg phase, but over the whole fight). Still insane.

I remember when the trailers first released, we were all disappointed in Song of Flame because it was less interesting than the other 2. After playing with it after release, it is far more usable than the other 2.
