I have a 2000 Ford 7.3 that I have driven fron San Diego to Montana for years, 1400 miles in 3 days is the BEST YOU CAN DO pulling a 30ft Trailer, same holds true going to Florida, there is NO WAY EVER an electric truck could even come close.
So your Silverado heavy duty disel is going 500 miles towing? I have not heard that. Are you saying you are ok with a horrible bad for the environment diesel truck that gets maybe 350 miles and you want an electric that gets 500 miles? I am not sure I get the logic
You dont need 500 mile range man... you drive 500 miles without stopping? I don't believe you one second. Never driving uninterrupted for more than 200, if you drive more you are putting yourself and others at risk.
Let me put this into context. I need a 500 mile range so when I tow I can get 250-300 miles so the trip to my destination does not take forever and have to divert to find a supercharger. This was labeled as a truck that can do truck things. I can’t take this Cybertruck seriously with such a low range. What’s even more concerning is they are offering a battery extender pack that takes up 1/2 the rear bed. You know towing will be horrible if they have to offer this huge battery pack. Lastly, concerning driving, if autopilot does its thing, you are more relaxed and less stressed. Your driving range can be really extended. I know when I use adaptive cruise on my Sprinter van it’s very relaxing and less stress on the body and mind. This is a 4 year wait and I was so excited for an awesome new truck and the numbers just don’t work. 😞
You can stop and spend 5 minutes refueling his sliverado if he has to. Or an hour if you can find a supercharger that has space for a pull through trailer. You can't be this dense.

As of today, yes. In the future, who knows. Until we get some better range electric vehicles can’t be used for work stuff.

Are you a Cybertruck buyer and if you are what are you replacing it with?
You can't be this dense....
Farther than a cybertruck.
Did you even watch his video? clearly, you do not understand the true range of electric vehicles under load.
@FurrKnight It is no mystery that electric trucks loses haft their range while tolling.
