For ghost types you can also just use a pokemon with soak (changes them to be a water type) and then switch into your false swiper IF It can't hurt itself. I know for a fact that both the buizel line and psyduck line have it, so It may be useful to just have one of those caught just in case.
Piggy backing off this way down the line, but if anyone else reads golduck is really good for this, not only can it soak to change type, but it has damp for an ability so they can’t self destruct, and can skill swap it to them
I’ve decided to go with a Breloom as my false swiper alongside a support Golduck. Soak + skill swap Damp + Breloom means there shouldn’t be anything you can’t properly spore + false swipe.
To false swipe against Ghost types: Persian: Ability Technician Moveset: Switcheroo, False Swipe, Thunder Wave, Hypnosis (learned as egg move from Gallade). Item: Ring Target Jolly Nature Atk +252, Speed +252, Lefovers in Def. 1st round Switcheroo, then false-swipe til your heart's content.
Poison heal breloom is pretty nice too, so it has more staying power if you want to keep it in, and youre not worried about hitting harder with false swipe. Only annoying thing is that if the breloom loves you it will keep expelling the poison every couple of turns even though it gets healed from poison 🤦
Samurott has Soak and False Swipe for ghost. Dark type too. Gallade can also do Imprison with dangerous moves Zangoos with belly drum and baton pass. He is my lead and provides incredible boosts to my four other Safari Ball Catch Team.
I’m currently building a shiny hunting team… build to be able to hunt and take down any shiny.. working together and able to access all Pokémon for any situation at will
Nice Video as always. Keep up the content this quality!! Nevertheless i have something to add, what may help others as well. I just want to say, that Breloom and Psyduck/Golduck are the best duo for shinyhunting in S/V. Why? I‘ll tell you My Breloom has Poison Heal as Ability and carries the Toxic-Orb. Its moves are Falseswipe, Spore, Substitute and Raindance. What each moves does is well explained in your video, so i‘ll not waste any words on that. As you explain we need to find ways to get Ghost Type Pokemon to 1HP and with Spore we are not able to sleep grasstypes. Also there are a few Pokemon that can explode and or teleport. So far so good, at this Point my cyan sparkling Psyduck was very handy and i came up with this moveset. My Psyduck carries an Eviolite and had the Ability Damp. Moves are Skillswap, Soak, Yawn and Wonderroom (last is optional). If i instead would carry a Golduck with me the Moveset would stay the same, exept ill use Leftovers instead of Eviolite. Explanations: Damp + Skillswap: will get you get away with Pokemon that have annoying abilities, more important wild Pokemon will no longer be able to use explosion, etc. Soak: you change the type of wild pokemon to single water-typing. (falseswipe hits for neutral) + no more normal immunity on regular ghosttypes + no more spore immunity on regular grasstypes + pokemon will lose their stab to their moves unless they have water moves which will be resisted anyway due to breelooms grass typing Wonderroom: high def stat pokemon most the time have low sp-def stats. combined with soak high def rock/steel types will not need that many hits to get to 1 Hp. As teleporting pokemon are not covered with this moveset i suggest to carry f. e. Gallade with you too, as it has excess to Meanlook and all other important moves for catching. BUT as Trasla, Kirlia, Guardevoir and Gallade are the only 4 pokemon to know Teleport so far it is not that important (probably after DLC come out). I hope i explained well enough. If you guys reading this got questions anyway just ask!!
Psyduck EVs: 252 HP / 52 Def / 36 SpD / 168 Spe Timid Nature thats my spread, you‘ll end up on 206 Speed which is enough to outspeed wild max lvl Ironbundle with max speed (31IV and +Spe nature). As i know it should be the fastest wild encounter this way possible. It may changed with the DLC actually dont know (hope not lol) btw Brelooms spread looks similar, 206 speed, maxed the HP and evened def/spdef stats ;)
Mathematically, the boosts are the same. Technician and Supreme Overlord x5 both boost 50%. It really boils down to whichever pokemon is better against the target defensively.
Easy, go to your part and make it Delaware the move, OR catch a Shroomish don’t evolve it, Level it up so it can learn spore, delete a move off of Breloom, set up picnic and wait a bit, then the move should transfer over.
A note for Breloom: Shroomish learns spore at level 40. Breloom DOES NOT learn spore. The only way to get a Breloom with spore is to evolve it from a level 40+ Shroomish that already knows spore.
Legitimately the most concise, informative and helpful Pokemon video I've ever watched. Instant subscription, you're the goat.
Ive always used a gallade as my pokemon hunter. This year i get to upgrade to iron valiant. Clearly the coolest pokemon on this list!

Dude, this is legitimately one of the best produced and most informative vids I’ve watched in a long time!

Im happy that iron valiant was on the list because i just shiny hunted it earlier and got one
You should do the best pokemons for Terra raid battles
With Hisuian Decidueye's scrappy ability, stuff like soak isn't a big deal.
I’m currently building a shiny hunting team… build to be able to hunt and take down any shiny.. working together and able to access all Pokémon for any situation at will
I’m doing the same thing. 2 members so far are Gallade and my Shiny Breloom.
Golduck and Smeargle get soak. The Duck also has Damp, and of course Smeargle gets almost any move.
You can also use the ability damp to avoid a Pokémon with explosion / self-destruct from fainting

Hi there, what EVs did you run for the duck?
Psyduck
EVs: 252 HP / 52 Def / 36 SpD / 168 Spe
Timid Nature
thats my spread, you‘ll end up on 206 Speed which is enough to outspeed wild max lvl Ironbundle with max speed (31IV and +Spe nature). As i know it should be the fastest wild encounter this way possible. It may changed with the DLC actually dont know (hope not lol)

Psyduck is one of my favorite shinys, and needed a soak/damp editon to my shiny hunting team.
Thanks for this superb explanation! ☺️
I just got shiny iron valiant so now the shiny hunts the shiny
the prey has become the hunter....
Would it be worth it to keep a masquerain in your party for the soak move? Would make the ghost ones easier.
What would be the best EVs to put on Breloom?
HP and Attack?
or
Attack and speed?
I do attack and health
@@jamesc7894 I agree
you get free Normal shards. i used them on my Breloom. works nicely
well done, and taught me some new things i didnt know were possible
Ring target would have been so useful for completing my dex I Alr completed it but I wish I used it on my gallade
Which boost is better on false swipe:
Breelom Technician
Or
Supreme overlord with 5 dead pkmn in team?
Mathematically, the boosts are the same. Technician and Supreme Overlord x5 both boost 50%. It really boils down to whichever pokemon is better against the target defensively.
Great video sir!! I love the different varieties of pokemon for shiny hunting :)
What stats should my Berloom have
I’m leaning towards either breloom or iron valiant ngl
thank you 😎
Step 1: Ring Target, Trick, False Swipe
Step 2: ?
Step 3: Profit
Hi, i evolved my Shiny Shromish to Breelom and now i dont know how to make him learn Spore. PLEASE HELP

@@Bobzilla2023 i tried but its not an egg move it can learn
@@arthurtube06 hmmm
Scizor is a good choice as well
