Led Zeppelin really was his baby, & he has every reason to be proud of everything he did for the band. He gathered the other 3, funded the first album, produced mixed & edited it. He produced etc. the other albums too, his dream or desire to create this amazing band, has brought mind blown joy to millions & millions of people. Jimmy Page is an absolute music genius, & I thank him so much, the greatest guitarist ever.

I love the way Jimmy talks. He’s so interesting. Musicians usually stay cracking sharp. No losing track or forgetting here and he’s 75 at least. I can’t believe the detail he remembers. He must look back on those days as the greatest experience he ever had. He loves music so much.

He does love his music and little girls! Oh! What a man! Oh! Wondered if he ever thinks or talks about his own way of life he had back in his day or he just getting old with it! Black Magic ⚫ is with him! Blessed 🙌 him!

Jimmy used to be very shy in interviews when he was young.
Now he' takes much more place
in the conversations. When someone tries to interrupt him he just raise his voice. LZ was the peak of his career, Robert Plant at the other side rather speak about his career after Zeppelin.

He was the whole package, which is why he achieved greater heights. I mean, let’s be honest....literally every single one of my friends and family is familiar with Zeppelin’s music. Pretty cool listening to this. I like how Jimmy had Robert over to his house to see if Robert got what he was trying to do. Babe I'm Going to Leave you by Anne Braden got them started..I think she is Canadian!!! I can just imagine how exciting and fun that time was back then. Hendrix was coming along ....Beatles had put out Sgt. Peppers. Pink Floyd was starting. Just the musical environment would be awe inspiring in trying out new ideas and sounds. King Crimson for instance. I like how Jimmy compliments John Bonham on his professionalism. I play at open mics and blues jams sessions locally in town ..and even at that level its hard to find people to connect with musically. What he says about JOhn Bonham actually listening is great. Funny ...the pre-cursor to the White Stripes with him and Tim Rose......wonder if JImmy told Jack White about that?

Interviewer tip - when you have an articulate speaker and story teller like Jimmy - do not talk over him nor butt in and get in his way - you need a very light touch. Jimmy is having to raise his voice and sometimes rush to stop this interviewer getting in his way - we want to hear Jimmy - the interviewer is simply someone for him to talk to.

    • @EvilGoddessMLGH
      @EvilGoddessMLGH Год назад +1

I could listen to Jimmy read the phone book to me all day & night and never lose interest! I have no clue who the interviewer was but he was annoying to me. He should have planned better and then he wouldn’t have kept interrupting and/or talking over Jimmy,. The 1976 interview with Alan Freeman was excellent! He asked just enough to get Jimmy talking then shut up and let him go & was very interesting!!

Boy Jimmy is looking first class in that dark gray suit (without a tie) at the very beginning of this video. He looked so terrible from 1977-1996. He was either stick thin or bloated. He's clearly minded his health since 1997 or so. Working out, eating right and cutting down or dropping the "homeopathic" Jack Daniels. I wish I looked that good at his age!

    1. Amazes me that Jimmy will still discuss and share these experiences, which must be incredibly dull after having told it so many times. This indicates a deep-seated need to give an accurate account of events as he remembers them.
    2. These stories have recounted by probably hundreds or even thousands of music journalists and writers throughout the years, this story has of course fallen victim to embellishments and omissions. Or where they introduce elements of drama that may deviate from the actual events. From trivial details they mostly get wrong like the distinction between a "boat house" and a "house boat" to significant matters such as determining true responsibility and initiatives who formed his band. Jimmy seems a reliable source in contrast to the often manipulated narratives.
    3. Intriguing details surface, such as the discontent of both Keith Moon and John Entwistle at a certain juncture within The Who's history
    4. A noticeable thing is Jimmy's apparent detachment from the realm of social media. Which suggests a lack of comprehension regarding the enduring allure of these stories among younger generations who still have ongoing fascination with all this.

Who is this guy impersonating Jimmy? This is not Jimmy's voice, only the top layer of it is. Where is the rest of Jimmy? Jimmy has a soft top layer to his voice, with infinite depth under neath, that can make a bolt of lightning strike in a matter of seconds, ricochet off the air sound wave vibrations, only to strike again, a few more times, as he does with his guitar, both on and off stage. There is a very hidden sound board, up to no good here, who has just lost yet another bet .

I just wanted to know if this fella is still alive. If not then I apologize beforehand. However the fact that this entire band has stolen nearly all of it's music from other bands can not go unnoticed. It's absolutely fucking disgraceful to wear this ego around your neck and yet, you've given hardly even sort of realization that their we're people before you that you completely ripped off of in the hopes that it never become a thing because they way lesser on the totem pole than you. Just fucking gross, seriously it's gross. Congrats on your long career and your nice house.

first , if you believe the best work or most of what Zeppelin did was stolen, You need to listen to an album rather than repeat the shit you've watched or read on the internet.
Secondly , if you are not a fucking lawyer ,why would you even care about such a thing if it were true?
Thirdly , your extremely naive PoV while not really uncommon these days with Googling idiots who only scratch The surface of a subject and presume to know all about it ,just shows that your knowledge of this band , and the British Blues movement consists of a handful of videos about plagiarism ,and you've obviously never owned an album in your life. There's a reason you've never heard any of Zeppelin's peers make any such accusation. Any learned rock fan or musician laughs at your
idiotic PoV ,and this would include the best and most successful artists in the last 50 yrs.
Finally, what kind of miserable chump spends their time watching videos about artists they don't even like? 😸 Find a hobby , get a clue and stop with your sanctimonious horseshit

You clearly do NOT understand how music works do you? Perhaps sit down, actually read and LEARN. You sound like a moron.

Dude, troll somewhere else, or better yet just fuck off! When you can do .001% of what Jimmy had done for music history, go shred and f o again!
