Say it with me folks... "The Greatest Rock Band of all Time"
Robert says.. I was standing in a palm tree at John’s birthday party 😂x
When I hear stuff like Tangerine, Rock and Roll, Dazed and Confused, Wanton Song , Tea For One , Stairway to Heaven etc . , I think they were twice as good as any band of their era. Their versatility was astonishing.
Jimmy is an alchemist, he choose the perfect four elements to create this eternal musical Magick. Zep masterpieces are in my blood forever.
@@maryjvanderwerken3192 you know you are onto something as a musician when your material is so good that you are accused of having supernatural assistance to create it 😆 I can understand why some people thought Page was a wizard though. I love lots of music , all genres but I can say honestly that no other rock group has moved me in the same way or made me feel like I was hearing something that is truly inspired . Music is art and it is all a matter of taste but I actually feel sorry for any rock music fan who doesn't appreciate or 'get' Led Zeppelin.
U r right 👍
Dazed and Confused was a plagiarism issue
@@jonblackers4339 true but the things that made the song stand out had nothing to do with the original. It evolved from the weird 'cover' the Yardbirds did . Page should have acknowledged Jake Holmes but there was no doubt that Page produced a stellar arrangement that left both Holmes version and the Yardbirds' in the dirt. .
Robert on John: “I remember his beauty as a dear heart”. These are 4 people who love each other. Devastating loss.
Perfectly said.
It's not just music it's ..electric magic.
The ultimate band… then, now & forever.
the way Jimmy talks about Led Zeppelin like an outsider lmao "and then there was a riff.." dude you did that !
I'm with JPJ, with What is and What Should Ever Be ❤️❤️❤️
I love these guys so much, I wish I lived in this era to see them.
JPJ what a gentle soul he seemed to be.
This has to be one of the best Led Zeppelin documentaries I've seen to date, and I'm a huge fan. I live for this kind of stuff! It contains a lot of original footage, (At least, 'original to me'.), and the interviews with the band members are personal, informative, and just amazing. Thank you so much Mark Zep for, once again, providing us with this exceptional and rare "time-capsulized moment" from the archives of undeniably, the greatest rock band there ever was, and that, likely, there will ever be. You rock, dude!
Spot on James.
🎯
James 🕊️👊
@Robin Seppi charlotte. N .c.1969. Zep. 1. And. 2. Heaven. Aloud. Smokin. Show. ☺☺☺🇺🇸😳☺ seems. Like. Whole. Lotta. Love. Those. Were. Good. Times. And. Bad ass. Smoke. !!!!🤘😳🤘
Yes, i am the same, i am always looking for rare Zeppelin footage, that i havnt seen, i like the conversations from the band members, because they explain the music in a way that is easy to understand, there will never ever be a band like Zeppelin, thay stand alone, & in decades to come they will be spoken about in the same way as Beethoven, Mozart, & czhaikovsky.
@@francishughes2016 I'm thinking more like "centuries to come". They're difinitely one ne of the few. Like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen perhaps. Only Lec Zeppelin is far and away, better than all those bands.
Love John Paul Jones input in this doc... he's so witty but wise with it. I get the impression it was him who kept the band going when the ego's took over.
There’s no filler tracks on any of their albums . They’re all fantastic tracks some more memorable than others . But that’s just being subjective . The body of work they produced in 10 years is phenomenal & doesn’t age . It’s still just as relevant today
Roberts description of how it is to be a singer is quite hilarious 😆 ‘Like diving into a pool and there’s boats everywhere’. Love their reflections in this documentary
it does not beat saying I did my groceries during the solo or having sex under the piano
Led Zeppelin amazing no other way to put it .
For your life, The Rover, Down by the seaside, Sick again ,Tea for one some of my favorites . Hidden gems kind of .
Oh yeh! Those were the days. My #1 band of all time and omg - the memories that went with it. My wild youth. 1971 and 2022 now - where did the time go? But this music can take me back in a heartbeat - I can still feel it all. Love Led Zeppelin 💗
Mark, I will watch this over and over to absorb the magic of Led Zeppelin again. I listen to all of their remastered CD's in my car everyday. My two teenage daughters have finally caught on to the amazing music of Led Zeppelin.
No JPJ, it did not make him any less a drummer. What a great comeback!
Fascinating interviews! Thank you so much for this.
Great Documentary...
awesome sense of humor they
have 😛🤘😝
Best documentary I have seen on the band. Everything that needed to be said in less than half an hour. Thanks for posting it Mark. The greatest band that has ever been.
Thanks for posting, best Zep doc I've ever seen. I've seen snippets of the interviews over the years, never knew the doc existed. Thx again.

Every single time I saw them LIVE They were EXCELLENT!!!
I love this band
Jimmy Page was some guitar player. Magically he seems to bring musical cohesion to every style of playing with the sound of great music. God I wish they could have went on.
What note was that? Plant just went outside the realm of possible vocal ability. Best band ever!
Jimmy just lights up talking about Stairway to Heaven, and it’s such a wonderful thing.. Just phenomenal footage!! Thank you ❤
So powerful every time I hear it. Truly spellbinding magic. Thanks. I love you all.
Led Zeppelin were remarkable as both a band and a musical movement. All you have to do is look at how many bands sounded like Led Zeppelin in both style and sound in the 1970's, to see the absolutely enormous influence they had on everything musical in those days. It's a stunning legacy they left in their wake.
Whenever I hear my now 20 year old son blasting Led Zeppelin on his music player of choice, I always get a little smile on my face.
We all have "Good Times Bad Times".
🇨🇦✌🏻🎶♥️✨🌎💫
this and much more music are the two best led zeppelin documentaries i ever seen
Outstanding doc....thank you.
Great doco. Makes me love them even more if its possible!
Fantastic documentary.
Great Led Zeppelin documentary, thankyou for posting, interesting to hear their views on how it was.
OMG...I couldnt love them more!!
The best of ever.
Fantastic doco.
Hadn't seen this one before and I've seen them all.
The 1990 MTV rockumentary was my favourite up until this point, but I think this one tops it.
Really great blend of footage and interviews.
Wonderful documentary. Thank you so much!!
Love seeing these! That MTV doc I had recorded on VHS! In 90 when the box set was released! Love this channel! Thank you so much for providing these! 🍻🤘
I wish I knew what they did before the money and I don't know what to believe. I thought they were growing up while making music and they are the best band. Perfectly inperfect..... Love Them Always... I felt the love hurt passion and perfectly loved and Always will be in my soul forever.... Thank You Led Zeppelin
One of the greatest bands ever !!!!!!
I could listen all day and night.. Thanks Jimmy and I f
Thank you so much for posting this. Fascinating! Such insights from the guys themselves.
@18:25. JPJ for the win. That's the golden moment from this documentary. Bonzo breaking down the door and dragging JPJ out ... lololol

Thank you for this. Watching parts of it made my spine tingle (with joy).
Led Zeppelin Rules 🍋💯⭐️
Awesomeness!
Ah that tele.. the gift from Jeff Beck.
Wish Jimmy played it more live I think he played it better live than the Les Paul sometimes.
The only band that matters
Amazing songs so are the boys ❤
Thank you
I almost think I would like to talk to John Paul Jones out of all of them…dude is hilarious!
Led Zeppelin super. Robert Plant and Jimmy Page good luck. Благодарю за прекрасное исполнение и импровизации. Всех благ Вам.
At 1:02 for a moment I though Jackie Chan was commenting on Led Zepp’s career lol
⭕️& btw mark , 👇🏼
What a great documentary !
I mean seriously .......Its really REALLY GOOD!!!
you really NAILED IT!
Гениальная группа!!!
The GOATS!!
Perfect band 👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
jumping in the water. O.K. with boats everywhere. OH MY GOD.
Robert Plant.
You can not LOVE this band they are literally the best band EVER. PERIOD!
It's funny what Robert said about being able to jump back into the song because I always said that Jimmy kinda held Robert hostage, while he went on these magical rant's. Does anyone know the name of the song that was playing when they were talking about John's passing? Awesome documentary!! 🎶🤘🎵
Thank you
"Kashmir" and then "Thank you"
Plant whining about Page's solos during Stairway is a bit diva-iculous
I suspect Percy’s negativity maybe related to his vocal limitations nowadays (ie don’t ask me to sing that song)
Great to see this uploaded. The full John Paul Jones interview is here.
ruclips.net/video/IK78aRNSOwI/видео.html
Indeed They were
Plant is so self-absorbed! He can't handle a long instrumental on their greatest song! He can't sing it today! Please! He must have exasperated Page, JPJ, a hundred times over as they tried to reconnect over the years! Could still be playing today like the Stones!
B O N H A M ! !
Why. Listen. To. Any. Thing. Else. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyuuuuuuu. Oh. Why????????
Best rock band. Ever.
Bruh I didn't recognize Jimmy Page at first
In through the out door is a good record, Jimmy doesn't care for it because he was there (heroin) to me that's John Paul's record with plant helping him, and Bonham slowly adding his his drums. Its still a good record. Presence i didn't like definitely didn't like, "For your life" and "Achilles last stand" were brilliant tracks.. otherwise the bloody album sucx..lol..cool cover art thou. Zeppelin lV is my favourite record. Zep were collage artists, the best at it. Pink Floyd is my band 👍🏻 they are absolutely brilliant.
I sottotitoliiiiiiiiii 😡😡
Page reminds me of Jackie chan 😁
Page is so envious of In Through the Out Door because it was mainly the creation of Jones, Plant, and even Bonham. He knows it's a masterwork. Yet he's always put it down. I love him, but what a raging ego.
Laughing about the car.
Is Jimmy Page half Chinese??
Yes
I dont particularly care for how he sang Stairway Live. sometimes the timing would be off, lack of pronunciation & emphisis in places. Came off a bit flat & lack luster at times but the band still delivered the magic & Ive mostly adapted to it sounding ok to me live. Not to say Im insulting or degrading his vocal in any way. Live is rarely solid as studio. ... Just stating Im not a fan of how he sang Stairway, live.
You should listen to the performance of Stairway from Copenhagen 5/3/1971. It's one of "the" best live performances of the song.
Yeah, these over-hyped plagiarists were "really honest."
Keep the bullshit coming Jimmy; it's about the only thing you're able to produce nowadays.
LOL !!!!!!!!
Entertain us by posting your best bit of songwriting, so we can compare with Led Zeppelin. I'm sure we'll be enthralled.
@@garymolina1394 we'll be waiting.....
Lmao, everyone back then covered older songs, but everything of Zeppelin's versions were original except the lyrics from Robert, so everything thing they covered was still Zeppelin's original songs besides Robert's lyrics.
Thank you for this video! Love it
Essa banda é incrível.
Permanece pra sempre.
