There’s so much emotion in this song, and the melody is haunting. The voice is pure magic. 71 was my senior year; I’m 71 now, and this song still affects me like a long lost love 💗
Of course, Jimmy has been an elite guitarist throughout his career but not many people are aware of how great a producer he is. Also, he has had an excellent ear for directing the recording, which resulted in the phenomenal library of Led Zeppelin.

Just the best guitar player ever. I’ve heard this song so many times, and still when it begins to play, it pulls me in and I love listening to it. Best band ever. ❤
I love this song so much. When my Granny passed away, they played this song at the funeral home. My Grannies favorite song. They had a staircase in the funeral home and my daughter, which was 2 or 3 at the time was trying to go up the stairs I asked my child where are you going and she said I’m going to see Granny. She gave me the chills. Me and my Granny was really close I miss her so much.
Personally speaking Jimmy Page was the second greatest guitarist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing and hearing just behind the greatest Jimi Hendrix this is just my opinion take it as you will thank God Almighty for these great musicians and their bands in Jesus holy mighty and magnificent name Amen 😊😊😊

This is my 1st favorite song of all time. I fell in love with you through your music that I still rock to! Just a beautiful soul indeed, to this day! I wish you much happiness. I never had the pleasure of seeing you live but that's okay, you live in my soul of rock and roll. The 70s were my best years and yours as well. You are beautiful to this day. Your music takes me to a place I love to be and stay. You still have that beautiful smile! Thank you Jimmy for being in my life since I first heard you play the guitar! Magical. Your music will live on after we all climb the Stairway to Heaven. 😘✌️❤️ I pray I see you there.🙏
I have been head over heels in love we/Jimmy, lol, since 1974! No joke! HE'S on my LR Wall!! And I have ordered more! No! Truly, this is totally about the music and the artist who lights up every waking moment of the day! But, I still have the fine gentleman on my bucket list!😊

Page fue uno de los primeros guitarristas de la historia en utilizar una guitarra de doble mástil, de marca Gibson inspirada en el modelo SG de la marca.
I was 16 in 1969 living in Santa Barbara and had 2 wonderful encounters with Led Zeppelin. Bands used to fly into LA, stop in Santa Barbara, then the Fillmore West in San Francisco so we saw everyone sooo many times. The 2nd U.S. appearance was in the domed auditorium at Earl Warren showgrounds. They hadn't released an album yet, but by the middle of the 1st song, we shouted loudly like;" WHO ARE THESE GUYS"? They were so loud it put about 10,000 cracks in the ceiling plaster! Sometimes, after concerts, our ears buzzed for two or three days. My 2nd encounter was in 85' when the Honeydrippers debuted at 1129 State Street, a very small club, and nobody knew who they were. My girlfriend and I had the front table 3 ft from the stage end it before the gig everyone was asking who is this? I have a gift for identifying vocalists and so, on the very first vocal note, I yelled out loud it's Robert Plant! My mom was a Columbia recording artist and the arranger for the Portland Symphony after WWII. She was famous for her swing arrangements in Columbia records made about 12 albums. She always said swing was the best music and she taught me how to dance swing when I was about seven. The Honeydrippers were swing so I got up danced my very best swing. As soon as they finish the set Robert came and sat at our table for the whole break. What's incredible about Santa Barbara is you have that happen in small clubs all the time. Steve Miller put me on stage at age 14 and that made me the most popular kid at my junior high, La Colina in the foothills of Santa Barbara! My mom started me on classical piano at 6, Cello at 7. At age 10 we saw the Beachboys outside at the Earl Warren Showgrounds. I danced with Gracie Slick from Jefferson Airplane many times. The last time was in 84' at thhe Santa Barbara County Bowl. The bouncers are really aggressive and as I approached the stage Gracie you still recognize me and she dropped down in the aisle and WE DANCED OUT! My sister lived directly across the street so we had FREE FUN S..B. County Bowl CONCERT GARDEN PARTIES! My good friend Carl Lendhart had the Family Dog Light Show to project psychedelic images on the ceilings in the walls. For the record, at concerts in the mid sixties, and on, LSD was passed out free at most concerts. At Jefferson Airplane 's concerts it was usually Orange Sunshine which had the rat poison strychnine in it to "hit" you harder when you were "coming on". This was bad though because some / many people would take too many, and get poisoned, then have a "bum trip". Bum trips is of course where we get the more common word in today's usage "that's a bummer"! Bummer! I'm STILL in awe that I have met sooo many of my song idols! I've been in some of their lifetime achievement awards, Michelle Phillips Gary U.S. Bonds. I wouldn't have been still playing music, or who I am, unless mom, Bonnie Raitt who took me to meet Jackson Browne at the 1st No Nukes Concert in 1979. What a decade for me from 16 at 69, to standing in front of an audience as far as you can see, being myself in the No Nukes! Movie Stage Collective. I'm in the last 3 minutes of the 90 minute movie, No Nukes! About 12 ledgends, and ME (!?!), played about 4 songs that I knew, and I was center stage behind Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary, my lifetime idol! I shared a mic with Graham Nash, perfect because my mom would stand me next to a good singer in chior, and sing what I heard them sing! I had one of Jackson Browne's Black Ovation guitars to hand to him in case he broke a string. It turned out that I knew all four songs so I could play instead of just air guitar!!!!!! The miracle was complete because they were making a movie, too. On my mom's advice I went from just being invited to give Jackson Browne some original songs he might buy, to a walk on performance with THESE incredible people bent on improving this world. In 2011 I even got to headline an anti-nuclear rally in Avila Beach, for the Mothers of Peace, because ALL the big stars were busy on tour. Do dreams come true? Absolutely. Do absolutely all dreams come true? No. BUT, my whole point here, is to say YOU CAN TWO KEEP DREAMING BIG! I also choose to believe that God, BECAUSE of the ODDS, DID THIS FOR ME. I know God, of your understanding, and you can do anything. You can take the solutions as proof God loves you. I'm looking forward to each day as STILL better because I don't feel old. I wonder sometimes how bad I would feel without faith in eternal life. Jesus said the way to prove it is to love people and God. If we love that more than money, we can live forever. Gospel is good news that's what it literally means in the Greek. I'm going to be looping Led Zeppelin TODAY! My son's favorite of all music, Houses of the Holy!

Awesome video. 👍
Il migliore sotto tutti i punti di vista...anche nei suoi momenti peggiori ❤
I couldn’t agree with some of you guys. GREATEST EVER on the greatest band.
Luv the Pink shirt pic! Pagey's so cute and Plant is behind with his arms around him holding a beer in front!! ❤👍🇬🇧 🎸👏👏
Incredible song! Jimmy Page is a superior guitarist. He put together a powerhouse of a band!
Wow, great photo, so young.😊
You're blood sweat and tears will live on forever. Thank you for taking us along......
Jimmy Page is both a Living Legend of Musical Talent, and one heck of a fine man. A very rare human being.
Che gruppi favolosi c'erano all'epoca!! Un'epoca irripetibile con gente che tecnicamente era superlativa.
Il miglior chitarrista rock blues di sempre ❤❤
