Yes, I know what you mean! That’s definitely a common fear for people. When I do privates I usually stand behind the chair and hold on to the back of their shoulders/ back to help with that fear.
@PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis that's true but I think the exercises that are done on the chair are not for the faint at heart. Especially when it comes to upper body strength.
Try making the springs heavier. So if you have on two red (2 heavy) at the top, add a third spring on. The heavier spring tension gives your body alittle more support to lift the hips up
it's my favorite too! I finally got over the fear of doing these pikings. As a taller person my fear of tipping over is greater!

I love the chair more than the reformer! How is that possible? Lol
Interesting, I do like the chair but I just don’t find as many exercises to do on the chair compared to the reformer
