The S10 is still a solid phone. Samsung really has outdone themselves with the S10. They've done the same with the S23 series this year which is good.

I have to say That Im Very Very Impressed by the S10 5G
Despite having a little Less Stabilisation when filming in 4k 60FPS in front or rear , but the S23 Ultra Has it Video Cropped up and it looks More Zoomed in
The S10 5G Is still a Great Phone
Not forgetting that it has a 1.5 aperature opening vs 1.8 on the S23 Ultra

Ofcourse we cant deny that the new and latest smartphone s23 series has more details compared to S10 series that 3 to 4 years ago already... But we cant deny that s10 series also been a superior even now adays comparing to other flagship brands and midrange...

Having had an S10+ (sadly drown into sea) and switched to an S23 ultra, it really hurts my eyes on how much oversarpening Samsung is applying to newer gen phones. S10+ really took some better photos.
In order to shoot in an acceptable quality, on S23 ultra you have to download camera assistant, turn off scene optimization and set picture softening to medium, but the real quality photos are only at 50 mpx (which however disables all other cameras: ultrawide and telezoom) or in pro mode.
I don't notice too much oversharperning on the S23 Ultra but as I always say, we all see things differently. Thanks for watching and stay safe.

Thank you i tested them both the front camera of s23 is much better than s10 but overall the main cameras are slighlty better on 23 but slighlty not too much the are almost the same you rock man your videos are very helpful thank you stay safe

Why s10 lowers quality on 60fps videos and s23 does not ,is it exynos problem

I think 30fps and 60fps was almost same quality.I also have one
If my s10+ didn't break, I'd have continued using it. The s23 has a slight advantage due to a slightly larger sensor, but man that oversharpening is UGLY. Fortunately, you can turn this off via goodlock camera assist, as well as enable 2x zoom crop from the main sensor, but you shouldn't have to, honestly. Consoderingnthe resolution this thing can theoretically output, theres no need to process images worse than a phone that is 4 years old.
Oversharpening? Really? I think it's fine but like I always say it's all a matter of personal preference. That's why I avoid giving my personal opinion as much as possible unless something is way off and needs to be highlighted. Thanks for watching the video. Stay safe.
1:24 in folleage and across all shots with trees and grass show artifacting due to samsung's aggressive processing. It's atrocious.

Still got a S10 5G based on my research and your videos and love it but just looking at the other options as I am really into attending concerts at the moment and the extra zoom capabilities may be nice. I have to say in this video the S10 5G almost looks better or just as good in every situation except the 10x. But maybe I should look at S22 Ultra or a Sony portable camera for this. I wonder if iPhone 15 pro max could be good but it's a lot for just really a camera upgrade as I like most things about my samsung at the moment. iPhone does have better security features though

@@Soto-Tech2020 I think it's possible to add an extra layer of passcode protection to sensitive apps because of the screen time restriction you can add. Whereas with Samsung I worry someone only have to get past the lock screen and then everything is open. There are third party apps but I believe they can be bypassed and could glitch.
@Stallzyx Well, for me personally it's not sth that would make me consider a phone over another but if it's for you then you are better served with iphone.

still using s10 plus until now a day... oct 2023 for me, that is more than enough for all daily using with super steady video + 4100Mah
