    I've done a similar test with my Legend and a Tesoro Sidewinder. The Tesoro will find a lot but you did way too much foil trash vs. the Legend. You also need to overlap your sweeps with the concentric coil on the Tesoro (and Fisher) or you miss targets at depth. The Legend did unmask several targets that the Tesoro could not hit, and depth was superior by several inches. One method you can try is to mark targets with golf tees. Then scan with the other detector. That way you can really see the difference. I would scan with the Legend first if it were me. Cool test, thanks for posting.

    live in a house built in 1890 have not run out of targets here some thing about 40 khz with the legion run over with mine lab etrac minelab 600 Garett at pro with 12-inch coil but did find a brass adjuster old kerosene lamp

    bought legion used came with two pairs of head phones wireless wired one was the old kind part of the shaft was metal but really not that heavy for the price i payed for it why buy new when a used price was better

    Im pretty interested in the fisher cz21, but im not 2000 dolars interested, why dont the price come down on old detectors, its not just fisher it seems like all of them

      They are becoming more popular now so people price gouge unfortunately
