Virgin metal detecting site! Treasure everywhere. Ep 314

How many times have you tried so hard to get a permission on an amazing old and historic site, only to find out it's already been hunted out by other metal detectorists? The key is finding less obvious places to metal detect. I give a great tip for finding old homesteads that haven't been hit. This old homestead is loaded with treasure, tokens, toys, relics, coins and jewelry. I even find a small bottle dump. So many coins it makes you wonder if there used to be a store here, pow wow or mountain man rendezvous? Maybe they used to hold harvest festivals here. Who knows maybe gambling and drinking? Could it have been a brothel? I am using my Minelab Equinox 800 metal detector and Dinwiddie is using the Equinox 900.

Yeah, IHPs aren't easy, especially in Montana. Most of the state wasn't settled until 1890s or even 1900s.
