- I bet we drove past this old homestead a hundred times without ever noticing it. The road was built right through it making it really hard to find. Who knew there was a bunch of history ready to be saved right next to the road. We aren't the only metal detectorists who missed this treasure trove of antique and vintage relics from the past. This metal detecting spot seems to be untouched. The best way to find old coins, relics, tokens, jewelry and other treasures is to identify old dirt. Normally we are pretty good at identifying the clues. If you want to find improve your finds we have some great metal detecting tips for you.
Those cellar holes were hiding in plain sight! Very cool finds!❤
Yeah I almost feel silly. They were just hidden enough to drive right by them......over and over.
Awesome hunt guys.
That looked like a lot of fun. Thanks.
I'm so addicted!
My detector just arrived today! So looking forward to learning how to use it.@@DirtyMoneymetaldetecting
Oh man.....your life just changed forever. 😆 Welcome to the sickness!
Got to be the most unusual site and probably one of the best days you fellows ever had
Yeah it's pretty embarassing how many times we have driven right thru it. Lol
Appreciate your low key demeanor... Over acting enthusiastic blab is always an easy decision.. Scroll into something that is more my style!!! I was not inspired to scroll on by... Glad to Sub your site 😎!!!!
Thanks I'm glad your enjoyed it.
Man looked like a lot of land I would love to dig
is that a graveyard
No just a sheep ranch.
I'm surprised, no coins! Go back
We will definitely go back. It is amazing how few of these homesteads have coins, though.
Chinese laundry?
Never thought of that. Usually, though, you find some Asian stuff. Ornate Asian style buckles, clips, or even coins.
Those were some heavy duty overall buckles, must have been some big boys. Fantastic watch find by Dinwiddy, and sweet looking fork by you. Where's the best place to hide something, right out in the open. Great site find.
Thanks for the tip . makes sense there would be something Chinese, like you said the info is in the open. lol.
Thanks Joey. 😊 It's just crazy how many times we've driven right past it and we aren't the only ones. Lol
