It isn't a flower broach, it's Veteran or Patriotic related. Those are two crossed flags, with something I can't make out in between.
You're right, an eagle!
👍
Agree. Looks like two flags on either side to me.
@@GMMD In my best Elvin Cartman voice imitation "Sweet"!
i think it`s a dove .
I appreciate that you are excited about horse tack. So many detectors write it all off as junk. Horses are a huge part of our history & were the most valuable part of many people’s lives.
I love finding horse tack and buckles, even enjoy finding horse shoes. it helps paint a picture of what the area was used for and the activities that happened way back when
Horses were indispensable! Almost more than cars for us. We can get on a bus or train to travel long distances, but for them, it was a horse or nothing.
the reaction from the dog when you found the button was priceless
In fact, it's the dog that made me click! ❤😊
I'm just 2minutes in and I can tell already by your smile how this episode is going to be. Thank you for just being you. I love what you do and how you do it, from your voice and how you tell the story, to the music, and just your honesty and respect to your actions.
I believe a strong measure of a man is in the friends he attracts and keeps. It certainly seems like I might be correct in your case as I find the friends who claim you are classy, stand-up sort of folks who all have an aura of dignity much like your own. Bravo, Brad. Your son is a very fortunate lad.
In the friends he attracts and keeps & how he treats animals. I can always tell the character of a man by how he treats animals!
Great to see Mike again. Used to love seeing both of you together and today is no different. Thanks Brad for another great video
😂 the dog’s reaction, when you put your hand in the hole….
The look on your face when that dog barked at you was priceless. Another great video per usual!
Always love watching
I had surgery last week and I am feeling better than I have in years, and as the snow falls here in Vermont I watch you digging in a field of clover and I can't wait to get out there and start detecting again.
Sweet Digs Brad !!
Mike reminds me of a young Stacy Keach, who is a great actor. Good to see him again. Great day in the clover field. Thank you both.
Nice to see Mike, hope you get together again while he is in the area. Great day today, happy Friday!
That thing you keep thinking is a flower is 2 US flags & a badge between. You can even see the stripes on the flag. That Ct coin is really a good find. Carry on!
I enjoy the way you tell a story about the people that once live their. The understanding that you have with that area is very interesting. Always anticipating what you might find next. Thanks brother!
“You stay silver!” Sounds like something for the merch store!
Great video with Capt. Copper Mike. It is amazing how many coins were found in that field over the years.
great stuff thanks. i love Friday!
My first thought on the jewelry piece was of a necklace I had as a child back in the early 1960s. The charm was of a descending dove which represents baptism. These charms were quite common at the time for necklaces, charm bracelets and even anklets. I've seen other posts saying "eagle & crossed flags" which also sounds plausible. I can see where the flower idea also works. You're able to see it better than we are.
I immediately thought it was a Dove. It would have hung with the head down, I believe. Nice find.
Great finds! Great to see both of you together again. Harmony.
Awesome adventure. Thanks for sharing your finds...
My son just got his first metal detector (he’s 7) and we are watching your videos for inspiration. He insisted we subscribe and say thank you for sharing these. We are in Michigan for reference, hoping to find some fun things. 😊
Yayy, Brad. Brand new year and brand new hat! :-)
That's an eagle in the middle of two crossed flags, definitely patriotic or even military. Great video! Keep them coming!
Thanks for the experience, and a history encounter. 😊
Budge is So Helpful! He loves your digging holes, he's not allowed;) Anyway, thanks for always a fun time, education, and a smile on my face!
Awesome to see Mike again. Glad you both enjoyed yourselves. The dog had a good time too. Stay safe guys.
Thank you, Brad.
Blessings from afar!

Best way to get details out of a copper coin like that, soak it in olive oil. Gorgeous finds as always
Wingsandbeaks here ~ So good to see Mike and you together reminiscing. Lots of old finds. That place is beautiful.
A great day of detecting and catching up on old times with a good friend. Also with his four legged friend. ;D

Its always good to catch up with old friends. Nice finds also. Stay safe.
Great video Brad. Congratulations on finding the Connecticut copper way cool, and the thin silver coin, and the cool relics too plus the coppers you and Mike found.
Wow, great finds. When I was born, that one coin was already 201 years old. Amazing
Brad, you're telling the story of the USA. Super cool!!!!!
Hmmm 🤔. So many ancient artifacts being overlooked. 😮
I'm a long time subscriber I love your videos! I so wish I could join you on one of these hunts. I love history and learning about history. I would love to find some of this history as well. I live in Kentucky and I never find anything as historical and cool as you do. Thanks for these amazing videos and keep up the amazing work!
Happy to see Mike and you together on this dig. Always a great video from you.
Great video. Always love watching them. Awesome finds.
I’ve been wondering where Mike has been. Good to see him again! You guys are awesome together.
You can make a cool night light out of the old insulators. Make an octagonal or round platform make a relief for the insulator to sit in and put a socket for a LED Christmas type bulb in the middle.
As always, great hunt Brad!
Fabulous finds !!!
Awesome video Brad! Congrats on your finds!
Wow!! Mostly coins! An "I told you so" with the silver! I loved your video and "it was made even better by our friend Mike!" As always such a pleasure to watch you mental detect and and beautiful Vermont!
love your videos! McClellan saddles had shields which indicated the size seat
Some great finds with a great friend!! Congratulations!
Great bunch of finds, nice spot for sure, bet there's more 😃 Great vid as always, look forward to the next 😁

Good job guys! These are awesome finds!
This was fun, and you got to share with your friend too. Friday morning is always off to a good start with you. Stay golden.
Great video today! Welcome back Mike, maybe you two can get out again while your here and find some cool treasures! Til next time take care...
Love the coins you found and all what you dig bringing up history
Lovely video, makes me smile to see happy, charming people, long may it be so. My fingers are crossed for more silver🤞.
When you first found the button and it was still in the ground, the dog got excited like he was going to play with whatever you found. 😂😂😂❤
That piece of jewelry at 6:00 is in the shape of a bird / dove. That was my impression.
Mike, welcome back! So good to see you again. Celebrity status...love lt. One of our old favorites was the Ice Cave adventure:) This was fun. Cathleen
Great digging!! Fantastic video. Happy hunting from a fellow Detectorist in Scotland 🏴
I think he needs to watch your channel to learn about. Hammered Roman silver coins, especially the coin with the CON and OCT, on it. It looked to me like one of the coins that you find out in the fields of Perthshire! (Love your channel)
I recomment you watch The Scottish Detectorist channel. Very educational. He finds Hammered Roman coins. Kinda like the Silver coins you found. Also Gorgeous Georgian silver coin.. and the small coin with a CON on it... its old roman I believe. Good luck! Keep hunting.
Great finds! Awesome that you found that beehive insulator! I’m guessing it was a Brookfield CD 145. Skirt embossed is early 1900’s. Dome embossed is late 1800’s
When you pulled back from the flower thing. To me it looks like two flags with a torch in the middle. Blessings
Woaaaah EXTREME!!! Couldn't possibly go any further because there's grass! I know what you mean, i didn't mow my lawn when i was meant to and now i'm trapped in my house and running out of food with no possible way to get out because there's long grass...
Great video great job guys.
Great hunt, Brad! That KGII is in gorgeous condition
Hi, Mike ! 😊 This has been fun !!! 🎈🎈🎈
Really enjoyed the dog very nice looking he was having a good time. Nice your friend brought him along.
Great video as usual, but the actual treasure is the dog. Please share more information about the pup. 10/10 priceless #gooddog

Time spent with friends is always special!
Nice work!
Nice job boys!!!!!
Really liked seeing the coins you found! The Connecticut one was very interesting!
Hello Mike!!!! awesome surprise!!!
I enjoyed your video thank you for sharing 👍♥️🗝️🇺🇸😊
Another enjoyable and informative GMMD video .. Thanks Brad. I'm not surprised at the number of "Ct. Coppers" you found in the clover field, for if my memory serves me well, wasn't that was part of Vermont actually Ct. "back in the day?" .. IMHO the pick of the day was the Federal Shield .. a nice addition for any collection .. Thanks again for posting.
A great day with a friend and plenty of finds.... does it get much better than that?
You are a natural onthe camera and one of the coolest guys I've seen on youtube.
Beautiful dog!
