I have met Eamonn Holmes at Old Trafford he is a big Man Utd fan and when I met him he said to me what is my job, I said to him me and my brother we run a family indian restaurant and I always remembered his smile and he said to me "ohh I love abit of Indian curry" and I said Mr Holmes if whenever you in this area look out for this particular restaurant name and food is on the house and he then said "thank you very much for that nice gesture you are so kind and please call me Eamonn" and then I took a picture with him and he gave me his autograph, "Mr Holmes you are a top lad and a top bloke" :)
For anyone that is suggesting that Schofield did nothing wrong needs to evaluate the situation. Phillip first met the young man when he was 10 years old child at school. When the boy was 15 years old, Schofield befriended the boy on social media. Soon after, the boy was given a job as a runner on Schofields show, This Morning where the child and Schofield became very close which eventually enveloped into a sexual relationship. This is a classic case of grooming by an older man in a powerful position against a vulnerable young boy. Everyone at ITV knew about the relationship or had concerns about the young man's relationship with Schofield, a much older man with alot of power and control within the entertainment business. The vulnerable young man was then discarded by Schofield and struggled with his mental health. He had no support from Schofield or ITV execs and now his name is all over social media, and will always be linked to this Schofield scandal. As for Holly Willoughby claiming she never knew anything is a bare faced lie. She was best froends with Schofield for years, they holidayed together every year and were joined at the hips. She is disgusting and needs to go. Willoughby is only now stating she was lied to by Schofield to protect her brand and career. Well done to Eamon for bravely speaking out. I hope Dan keeps asking questions and exposing Schofield and ITV. Great interview.

The problem is people don’t know how to stand up to narcissism. You don’t know they exist until you experience them (at which point you realise narcissists are everywhere lol) and you have to learn from your experience by which point it’s already too late and you’ve fallen victim. You can’t anticipate people being so different to yourself who are happy to do things you know not to. They lie and cheat their way into positions of authority and are naturally fearful of real honest hard working people with actual talent who they target and destroy through abuse of power causing so much potential to perish to what is ultimately deemed to be some sort of mental illness, stress, depression, anxiety, when really they were forced into a helpless corner, trauma. That’s what I hate about narcissists, they’re so talentless they have to sabotage the person their reputation and eventually their mindset it’s such a desperate form of attack that goes against our evolution, the human nature to live in groups for protection and support. I think it’s a subject as important as maths and English, it’s a human world yet schools teach us nothing about human behaviour. You learn as you grow which what wisdom is what chance has a young person got? Not a lot and a bit of luck. Psychology and sociology need to be taught on some basic level in school so that people don’t live the experience to learn of the threat. That way people will always stand up to them. It’s just a case of what you know.

These people always choose to speak out after the scandal has broken. I always look at what they stand to gain by doing this. For what ITV staff described as an ‘open secret’ they have all been complicit in this deceit, only coming out against the grain when it suits their own agendas.
I know this is an old comment now but it’s not always easy to speak out in these situations because you risk people not backing you or not having enough evidence to prove it. It’s all very well to say well you should have said before but its very difficult to be that first person to come forward because if no one else does you risk ruining your own career.
I remember my friend was part of a catering team working at Eamonn and Ruths home for a party they were hosting. She said they were so kind and thoughtful to the staff. She was suprised at how real they were.

All we learned was that Ruth definitely did not report Phil for his relationship with the Teaboy and since she still works for ITV, that means they didn't fire her. I have never really liked Eamon Holmes but the way he has responded and spoken out about ITV and Phillip Schofield has given me a new respect for him. I applaud him for speaking out on day one. I was a lowly production assistant on "How Do They Do That" many, many years ago, a programme which Eamonn Holmes co-presented. I once had to try to find a certain tie that he'd been wearing in a previous episode to film another segment and for continuity it had to be the same tie which Eamonn didn't have with him. It was a Mercedes-Benz logo tie and I did manage to find him one in Birmingham and got it biked to London very quickly in time for the filming. Eamonn made a point of finding out who had got the tie for him and came to find me to thank me personally. I will never forget it. He always used to joke he was so tired because he'd been up since 3am doing Breakfast TV and then came on to the "How Do They Do That" set. He was always so polite and respectful to EVERYONE around him.

I have met Eamonn Holmes at Old Trafford he is a big Man Utd fan and when I met him he said to me what is my job, I said to him me and my brother we run a family indian restaurant and I always remembered his smile and he said to me "ohh I love abit of Indian curry" and I said Mr Holmes if whenever you in this area look out for this particular restaurant name and food is on the house and he then said "thank you very much for that nice gesture you are so kind and please call me Eamonn" and then I took a picture with him and he gave me his autograph, "Mr Holmes you are a top lad and a top bloke" :)

The measure of a man is how he treats people in general, not just those who he feels he has something to gain from .
For anyone that is suggesting that Schofield did nothing wrong needs to evaluate the situation. Phillip first met the young man when he was 10 years old child at school. When the boy was 15 years old, Schofield befriended the boy on social media. Soon after, the boy was given a job as a runner on Schofields show, This Morning where the child and Schofield became very close which eventually enveloped into a sexual relationship. This is a classic case of grooming by an older man in a powerful position against a vulnerable young boy. Everyone at ITV knew about the relationship or had concerns about the young man's relationship with Schofield, a much older man with alot of power and control within the entertainment business. The vulnerable young man was then discarded by Schofield and struggled with his mental health. He had no support from Schofield or ITV execs and now his name is all over social media, and will always be linked to this Schofield scandal. As for Holly Willoughby claiming she never knew anything is a bare faced lie. She was best froends with Schofield for years, they holidayed together every year and were joined at the hips. She is disgusting and needs to go. Willoughby is only now stating she was lied to by Schofield to protect her brand and career. Well done to Eamon for bravely speaking out. I hope Dan keeps asking questions and exposing Schofield and ITV. Great interview.

I think it’s a subject as important as maths and English, it’s a human world yet schools teach us nothing about human behaviour. You learn as you grow which what wisdom is what chance has a young person got? Not a lot and a bit of luck.
Psychology and sociology need to be taught on some basic level in school so that people don’t live the experience to learn of the threat. That way people will always stand up to them. It’s just a case of what you know.

For what ITV staff described as an ‘open secret’ they have all been complicit in this deceit, only coming out against the grain when it suits their own agendas.
I know this is an old comment now but it’s not always easy to speak out in these situations because you risk people not backing you or not having enough evidence to prove it. It’s all very well to say well you should have said before but its very difficult to be that first person to come forward because if no one else does you risk ruining your own career.
I remember my friend was part of a catering team working at Eamonn and Ruths home for a party they were hosting. She said they were so kind and thoughtful to the staff. She was suprised at how real they were.

He spent the time telling us how great he is and how horrible Phil is...hardly the revelation of the century. I never liked Phil but both Eamon & Dan have a clear vendetta against him so they're hardly giving unbiased opinions here. Just because he wasn't as overly friendly to the staff at TM as Ruth & Eamon were, doesn't necessarily mean that Phil is a bad person. Some people are better than others at being sociable but that doesn't mean that they're better people than those who aren't. Also you can't trust the opinion of a whole load of disgruntled tv hosts who clearly have a vendetta against Phil..there's no proof he actually got anyone fired. There have been people who have come out to say Phil was always nice to them so it's not all one sided. And the fact Dan & Eamon never even discussed how long Phil knew this boy and how it came about that he got the job at TM suggests to me that they don't think there's any substance in the grooming rumours.

He should be taking his former employer to court for corporate neglect of care and not fulfilling their duty of care to young employees. I hope he gets the help he needs.

All we learned was that Ruth definitely did not report Phil for his relationship with the Teaboy and since she still works for ITV, that means they didn't fire her. I suspect they got rid of Eamon because they found out he was in secret negotiations with GB news but he'll never admit that now...he wouldn't want to tarnish his hero rep.

I have never really liked Eamon Holmes but the way he has responded and spoken out about ITV and Phillip Schofield has given me a new respect for him. I applaud him for speaking out on day one. I feel so very sorry for the young man caught up in all of this mess. His face is forever plastered across the Internet because of Phillip.

I was a lowly production assistant on "How Do They Do That" many, many years ago, a programme which Eamonn Holmes co-presented. I once had to try to find a certain tie that he'd been wearing in a previous episode to film another segment and for continuity it had to be the same tie which Eamonn didn't have with him. It was a Mercedes-Benz logo tie and I did manage to find him one in Birmingham and got it biked to London very quickly in time for the filming. Eamonn made a point of finding out who had got the tie for him and came to find me to thank me personally. I will never forget it. He always used to joke he was so tired because he'd been up since 3am doing Breakfast TV and then came on to the "How Do They Do That" set. He was always so polite and respectful to EVERYONE around him.
