I suffered and suffered and suffered with getting up in the morning, with intrusive thoughts etc and I opened up about it a year ago only. That is how much stigma suicidal thoughts carry.

Schofield really overacts to the point of it becoming comedic 🙄 I had a couple of people in my life who constantly used emotional blackmail and the threat of 'suicide' to manipulate anyone and everyone for their own ends - until I became completely immune - so this 'routine' is far too familiar for me. But, they were far more convincing - and though gone now, neither commited suicide (or were perverts) either. It was just a very horrible, upsetting way to make people feel guilty and get what they wanted.

Everyone is concerned about Schofield but no one has voiced any concern for the young man whose life was ruined after the affair finished. As my mum said to me, Phillip KNEW what he was doing, he made the decision to date a child and probably never thought about how it would effect his (then) wife and daughters AND his career. He threw his career and practically his life down the damn toilet.

The issue is that allegedly the young man was groomed under age. He then took a job as PS’s own runner and was ordered around and dominated by him throughout according, allegedly by witnesses. Schofield really overacts to the point of it becoming comedic 🙄 I had a couple of people in my life who constantly used emotional blackmail and the threat of 'suicide' to manipulate anyone and everyone for their own ends - until I became completely immune - so this 'routine' is far too familiar for me. But, they were far more convincing - and though gone now, neither commited suicide (or were perverts) either. It was just a very horrible, upsetting way to make people feel guilty and get what they wanted.

Did Simon Schofield tell Philip Schofield to follow and mentor the lad? Have there been others? This all needs looking into… it certainly looks like a grooming scandal!
