  • Kevin Spacey’s acting career was at its apex in 2017, starring in Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World after decades of successes and accolades; including two oscar wins. But when allegations were made by Anthony Rapp, his life came to an abrupt halt and he was cut from Scott's movie. In the seven years since the first accusations came out, Kevin has barely worked and faced a slew of criminal charges; charges that have ultimately amounted to ‘not guilty’ across the board.
Spacey Joins Piers Morgan Uncensored, opening up about this tumultuous period in his life. They talk about his career, the allegations and the aftermath. Lastly, Kevin reveals how the legal bills he’s paid have left him millions in debt, while still staying hopeful for the future.

What is bizarre is that the allegations were heavily publicised, but the fact that he was found guilty of none of them was barely covered publicly, leaving most people who havent actually followed events carefully still under the impression he was found guilty.

You seriously think Anthony Rapp made up the fact that Kevin Spacey tried to lay on top of him in his bedroom? Anthony confessed this to his friend back in the 90s, and this witness told this to the court himself. So you're saying Anthony set this lie up all the way back in the 90s? Of course Spacey is guilty.

Recalling a event that took place 30 years ago is completely unrealistic and cases like his and many other that are similar really bring the issue of cases that are purely based on events that took so long ago to where nobody but the accuser recalls. This should be speaking a change in the case system and I’m shocked it hasn’t.
I really hope he gets an opportunity to possibly touch the big screen again cause Kevin is truely a great actor.

I have always liked Kevin Spacey as an actor, and it was completely appalling that the industry denounced him before they found out whether he was guilty or not. Another example, of course is Johnny Depp. Disney dropped him like a hot potato before he was acquitted of all of the charges. I understand that they are trying to cover their asses because of the fact that charges like this are appalling, but I always believe that you are innocent until you are proven guilty. I hope Kevin makes a resounding comeback in the industry because he really does deserve it. I hope to see him him in many more films in the future. If you’re not sure of someone’s guilt or innocence, then you can certainly put them on the back burner until the verdict comes in. but to throw them to the wolves from the get-go is unacceptable.

And my friend actually told me years ago about how John barrowman groped him at a party. And this is a guy who doesn't say anything bad about a celebrity unless it's true because he absolutely loves celebrities and basically worships them. And it was probably a drunken thing, but I wouldn't trust barrowman's opinion.

Kevin's brother in his memior which is NOT a Kevin Spacey tell all by any means , does indeed admit that they have only seen each other since he moved out 4 times but what Kevin
Spacey is leaving out that wasn't by his brother CHOICE he cruelly shut him out of his life in spite of repeated attempts to contact him and talk. It caused his brother on going pain and sadness. They both shared an extremely abusive childhood and Kevin's way of coping with it was simply to ignore him like he never existed. These were not the brain child of his brother getting paid off , his brother kept all of this close to the vest for decades .

The reason it wasn't widely publicized is being is he has 50 separate accusers (many didn't press charges) and it's very hard to prove guilt in cases like this (basically one person's word against another)
So yes, he was acquitted, but is he innocent of all 50 of those allegations? Highly unlikely

I work in the entertainment industry. Spacey is notorious, and always has been. I was warned about him years ago. Even watching this his guilt is obvious. He had a thing for straight men. That in and of itself is abusive. Straight men aren't gay and don't want gay relationships. He openly admits he "groped people sexually" (his words) when they didn't consent. That is abuse. He is an abuser. Piers saying things like that it's ridiculous that a marine would allow himself to be abused and would email his abuser is absolutely ignorant and absurd. That's exactly how it goes. Prior to MeToo these people had all the power. I have seen people go to their abusers home for family dinner when the abuser is a powerful person. I've seen them pose on carpets and take smiling photos. I know victims. I know abusers. That's just the way it goes. I've also seen what happens to the people (such as myself) who try to put a stop to the abuse. I've had private investigators sent to my home to make threats about what would happen if I exposed people. Most people smile and go along with it.

Unfortunately, RUclips has become just an extension of mainstream media. For instance, the way the "law tubers" on RUclips are handling the Karen Read trial is disheartening. Instead of reporting both sides of this DUI hit and run homicide of a Boston Police officer equally, they are leaning heavily into the conspiracy theory that Karen Read and her defense are spinning bc it brings in more subscribers, likes, superchats and so on. The defense, that happens to include Alan Jackson who was Kevin Spacey's lawyer, have coordinated this campaign with these RUclipsrs and have given them gifts and money to sway the public to their side. This has been going on for the entire year before the trial in order to control and shape the narrative and poison the jury. If she wins this case , when she clearly killed this cop, it will be a serious injustice to John O'Keefe and his family. If this is the future of justice in America, it is very scary.

Spacey’s ‘grabby hands’ reputation was well known in Hollywood/acting/theatre circles. For YEARS. The ‘not guilty’ verdict merely indicates the inability of the prosecution to win their case. This happens in courts of law, you know. Sometimes the innocent are found guilty, sometimes the guilty are set free. Understandably, Spacey is now attempting to resuscitate his public image-but I, for one, along with many people I know-aren’t buying it.

I'm not sure what it's like in the USA but in the UK you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. That goes for both ways! There wasn't enough evidence to convict Spacey and there obviously isn't enough evidence to prove the accuser is fabricating either. As Spacey says he was drunk and can't remember which in a court of law in the UK isn't enough to convict the accuser saying it didn't happen. We can't say it did or didn't happen there's just not enough evidence to prove it either way, what we do have is doubt that it did or didn't happen which isn't enough to convict in a court of law.
In the UK it's extremely hard to convict for sexual crimes unless physical evidence is gathered early, or there is other evidence, video, messages, eye witness etc. Even then its hard to prove it wasn't consensual so there's no doubt in a jury's mind. It's also reversibly difficult to prove something deferentially didn't happen to charge the accuser.

You mean he was found not guilty in both cases, not none of the charges. “He was found not guilty on none of the charges” means he was found guilty on all charges. Double negatives equal positives. “I didn’t do nothing” means you did something. ✌️❤️😁

It doesn't seem fair, at least not because others have done far worse and still seem to have a Hollywood career. Otherwise I personally would not have a problem with it, since actors are paid millions and Kevin had admitted to behave badly. For if you can choose between someone who has not behaved badly and someone who has, why wouldn't you give the millions to the one with the better behavior?
So some of Kevin's issues is self-made, the bad is the hypocrisy on where some get punished for bad behavior and others don't. I despise that. Kevin should be forgiven and should be more likely to return to the big screen than Will Smith in my opinion. But I am shocked Will Smith is back already. I will not pay a dime to anything Will Smith is in, since Will Smith has not even given a sincere public apology yet.

Thousands of physicians was cancelled during C19 for daring to ask question or trying to help the public. Fauci at the top and proclaiming "I am Science" like he is a god. I once heard a famous actor say that the most challenging role in acting is to portray oneself. If Kevin Spacey is indeed acting here, he deserves a third Oscar! The performance is captivating; not a single second of the 1 hour and 38 minutes was dull. It kept me engaged throughout. If the industry isn't ready to welcome him back, we need more interviews like this one-it's far more intriguing than most top 10 dramas on Netflix!
People often struggle to accept that the world is a stage and we are ALL performers in this live streaming spectacle. He's not just a talented actor; he's exceptional. Let him do what he does best, especially if it leads to a captivating performance. Art is complex, and while we navigate its moral landscapes, denying his talent won't change the narrative-it only makes the stage less brilliant.
