Several days later I clicked on a video of JD testifying. 5 minutes in listening to him talk, like he was storytelling, and I was hooked. Watched the trial everyday since! Justice for Johnny.

The judge actually brought the motion to have the case televised. He just agreed to it. I think the court was receiving a lot of calls about the case, and the judge thought it was better to televise it to help with the number of people who wanted to witness it.

To finish my interrupted thought ... It will be the most difficult task going forward for female victims/survivors of DV to be believed rather than reviled. Compassion has been applauded in Johnny Depp but compassion is so much more rare in us who are outside the limelight. We must not fall to hate or malice in any circumstance. Love for others as human beings is worthwhile work even it means to hold compassion for AH and other offenders.
You should hope he doesn’t get his past life back he seems to be on somewhat of a road of recovery thanks to Amber heard and this trial that he brought her no excuse me dragged her through.
My son had a camp counselor that was a bodyguard for Johnny Depp. He said Johnny was a laid back guy. He was also a great and patient father. He did mention the drugs and that's why he stopped being his bodyguard. He said Johnny didn't have a mean bone in his body.
I sincerely hope whether they rule in his favor or not, that Johnny turns his back on drugs and alcohol to really embrace his come back with a clean slate. It would do wonders for him and people would respect and love him even more!
I hope Johnny cuts off friendships with people that he’d be tempted back into drugs and alcohol with (it’s bad enough for his health that he smokes). He also needs to detox from romantic relationships and work on himself. Maybe even take a year away from Hollywood. He has fans, but this trial made people who didn’t even like him come to love him. People would wait for him.
I liked Johnny Depp as an actor and feel he’s a great actor but didn’t know anything about him in private life. Now I believe he’s an even better person in real life than just being a great actor. I now consider myself a Johnny Depp fan for I would actually be friends with this man here in the real world.

What a legend. No matter the outcome of the trial, Johnny won back the hearts of public. Unfortunately he is right, that there will now always still be people who believe him to be a wife-beating abuser, but I am happy to see that it is not a majority. To be fair though, even though some may still see him as a wife beater, he has also gained a lot more new fans as a result of this trial. There's lots of comments on the videos of this trial with people saying that the trial has turned them into Depp fans when they previously weren't, and his Instagram post detailing the verdict is one of the most liked posts of all time. I think that winning this trial has actually made him more popular than ever.

Indeed. I rarely give celebrities any attention but I began watching the trial last week out of an interest in the psychology of it. Fascinating. Johnny is clearly a very honest man and Amber truly needs some counselling if she is ever to understand herself and others. It is a shame that she has created this situation for herself, as she is clearly a very damaged narcissistic borne from an abusive childhood. All too common. Her body language said it all. She is unable to control the situation and it showed. Johnny was relaxed as the honest truth giver. Fascinating to watch but also so sad that this was so public. It has done the exact opposite to what Amber desired, and her narcissism will have a real hard time with that. The woman needa drastic help.

I do think that however devastating it may have been to the participants, it could serve a larger purpose of attracting attention to the state of ethics in film productions. It seems to be abysmal.
I hope this case sets a precedent for men’s rights globally. Men are suffering at the hands of abusive women too. It is time their voices were heard.

I was not a big Johnny depp fan but I am after watching this trial. He is a good person who is very polite, generous and well loved by the people around him.
To be fair, he was not a great husband, but he is a very good person to other people.

I was there Wednesday, when he turns the corner and sees all his fans his face lights up and he gets a huge smile 😊 although I didn’t the whole crowd booed ah. But the cheers for Johnny could be heard all the way around front of the courthouse.

I've always been a Depp fan and after following this trial very closely , I can say that's more so true now. I just recently escaped a toxic, abusive relationship myself and know the horrors this man has endured. I hope the verdict comes out on his side, the side of the truth and that he is able to rebuild and move on with his life. Best of luck Mr. Depp. You are deeply loved and admired by many.

Amber Heard has been the victim of domestic violence commited against her by this Depp character monster. Even a former actress testified under oath that Depp threw a bottle of wine at her for no apparent reason.
Depp was clearly under the influence of drugs when Australian border force apprehended him, however Amber was not.
Depp is seen over and over again passed out or being carried, it's a no brainer.

When I first saw this, I didn't realize it was today until he said "See ya down the road" and then I got choked up. I'm so glad this is over for him. No matter the outcome, I hope this closes a big chapter for him and he can start a new and much better one. Even though I'm glad for him, I'll miss feeling like I'm spending every day hanging out with Johnny Depp while he doodles and eats candy :) It is very telling that in 7 weeks of day after day exhausting court time, he never seemed to be putting on an act which can't be said at all for her. The smallest gestures seem to show his truest nature and I'm thankful we all got to see him finally get to tell his truth ❤❤❤
I'm also going to miss getting my Johnny Depp fix everyday. This guy now has my heart.

His case had to be too strong, because it is a VERY hard case. Johnny has to disprove that he has never harmed Amber, ever. And that an extremely hard, almost impossibly hard thing to prove.

Johnny accomplished something that was very difficult for him. That shy man recounted his painful memories in front of the whole world. He faced his own life. He certainly suffered internally while listening and describing what happened during this process, but he wanted to do it for himself, for everyone who knew him. I hope justice is on his side. I'm proud of you Johnny.

@@cmshottie62 Today was the last day for defense and plaintiff to argue their cases. It meant going back through a lot of the recordings in the text messages et cetera.. I didn't see all of it but the parts that I saw talked about his relationship with his children etc. Probably wasn't the easiest thing to go over, listening to defendant's attorneys badmout you more, and play back the least shining moments of your life
I think he did it more for his children than anybody else. He’s a selfless man. I pray we see him down the road a lot. God bless him
