By just listening to the audio, where Amber was arguing and mocking Johnny, that alone shows that Johnny is the victim and Amber is the abuser.
That's not always true. Maybe he hurts my feelings constantly. Also my ex is not Johnny. He's mentally broke me down for 17 years! I wanted out a year and a half in and he wouldn't even give me a week off.

I think Heards team forget that the audio from Australia went viral. She was given an antipsychotic, profusely apologising and stated She didn’t mean to hurt JD, she was heard clip clopping around in high heels which I thought was interesting for someone who apparently cut their feet on glass. It’s a shame they couldn’t use that audio as evidence because of the other voices in the audio.
It's so unfortunately that piece of evidence could not be used, so the jury might not be aware of its existence. It's such a shame because that was really powerful evidence.

To find AH guilty of defaming a man’s character would be an infringement of the first amendment.
To not find JDs lawyer guilty of allegedly ruining AHs career, with 3 statements, that can seemingly, in no way he tied to JD, it would send a message to victims everywhere that their voice wouldn’t be heard.
So, true to form they’ve used a contradictory strategy :
AH can say WHATEVER she wants, accuse someone of the most horrific abuses, WITH impunity and WITHOUT consequence.
JDs lawyer, who by their very own standards, wrote 3 statements, BUT he is NOT free from consequences, and it would send a message to victims everywhere that they would not be believed.
If the issue in this case is the 1st amendment, which I wasn’t aware it was, then shouldn’t the rules apply equally to both parties? Or, do people just get to go around saying whatever they like, free from consequences and with impunity?
As far as I understand it freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequence.

Both sides were allowed two hours in total for their closing arguments AND rebuttals, Amber's team used one hour and fifty four minutes in closing argument thus only had six minutes left for their closing, NOT that they had nothing else to counter Johnny's team. They had already done that in their closing. Their rebuttal was short, powerful, and effective. Sometimes less is better.

As lawyers they simply must stay on course regardless, and make sure the jury is persuaded to benefit their client. Otherwise, if not, nobody will hire them later, should they become to be known for giving in easy. Of course they know she lies, judge knows, evryone knows but just let hope the jury is not confused by their narrative.
