Just a warning, you’re not supposed to use a Vitamin C serum after dermabrasion. It’s irritating to the skin, and can be kind of poisonous if it gets into your blood stream. Not sure if you’re using a needle large enough to cause concern with that, but it’s worth looking into! Either way, using Vit C with AHA, BHA, and glycolic acids will cancel out the effectiveness because of the different pH. The problem there is that good ingredients are not cheap, meaning it's expensive to make. A lot of of cheaper, drugstore skincare are full of filler and silicones that aren't necessarily good for the skin. You should try checking out The Ordinary Skincare line. I've heard good things about it and it's very affordable.

hooooooo gurl! you are using a lot of invasive, exfoliating products in this routine. PSA to anyone that might come across this comment, i think alexandra has really durable skin because if i tried extracting, then using a 25% AHA with a 2% BHA, then using light therapy, AND THEN DERMAROLLING my face would be suffering hard core and it would take weeks to recover
I have somewhat sensitive skin - a lot of makeup and sunscreen products make me red and raw - and right now I use AHA and BHA products, retin-A, etc and have no problems at all. I don’t use all of them every single day, but I do frequently use 2-3 at once especially if I’m doing a “full facial” type day, as she is here. I assume she knows her own skin, but yes, it’s definitely good to try new thing at a time and take it slow especially with the exfoliants! :)

Can you elaborate on that last part? Seems like ascorbic acid wouldn't be too different from the other acids in the AHA/BHAs mask.

The ordinary is really really good!! they don‘t use unnecessary ingredients like parfum etc.
I use jojoba oil as a makeup remover and moisturizer and African black soap as a cleanser. They are both pretty cheap
I can barely do my skincare routine now because there is always someone banging on the bathroom door telling me to hurry up. 😂
