I would go for the round flower knobs you found for the cabinet doors. They are perfect. Long bar ones don't really fit the vibe of your living room, IMHO. ♥
A bar which has a level of complexity, detail would work better than something totally plain and modern. You could take inspiration from the ones in the Kitchen.

I love the salvaged handles that you got, they are minimal but still gorgeous. I think using a long handle would make the cabinets more modern looking.

I'm going to give you a really good piece of advice. Go to a restaurant supply store to buy some stainless steel mixing bowls and a couple different size French Whisks. They are dishwasher safe and will last you a lifetime. And they're often less expensive than those found in department stores or kitchen specialty stores!

The lamp matches your dining room perfectly! The color of the base and the ribbed ceramic looks like the bead board on the bottom half and the shade matches the top part of the wall.

Hey, before you use Brasso on the knobs, try cleaning them up first with some Bar Keepers Friend. It may be that the tarnish is hiding something pretty underneath. If you like the patina, just use a toothbrush to clean around the edge to see what's underneath.
I also recommend ketchup! I’ve restored 100 year old yacht windows with ketchup and they turned out better than with the brasso!

Love those flower knobs and the lamps! ❤ One small suggestion. You might want to consider planing the top and bottom edge of your cabinet doors just a smidge so they are completely straight. I did that on my DIY doors and it really took them up a notch. I got the ryobi corded one and it worked great!
I’m in love with those handles and ALL the lamps you bought. I was at HomeGoods this past weekend and had to pass those lamps up. So I’m so glad I get to live vicariously through you 😂

I've seen people take a photo of knobs and print them off to scale and attach to item so they can stand back and get a good idea of how they look.
I love the knobs! They look perfect with the bookcase cabinet doors. Even the color. Really like all the lamps you got too. Nothing wrong with a beautiful teapot. I've got several that I've never used but couldn't resist getting because of their color, shape, or pattern. They look nice as decor. I'm glad you didn't pass up the pretty teapot. The pillow you got your mom is beautiful and her reaction was perfect. So very glad you are feeling better. ❤
Tostones are plantains. The way we make them is by cutting them up and frying them, then we smash them and refry them. They are soo good and we eat them with literally anything. So yummy!
when you said "we can always change the color" I pictured the lamp a dark inky forest green. then you said "i'm seeing these a deep deep deep green" it made me smile so hard my face hurt. keep doing you macenna, glad to know you feel better!
I think the six knobs are really nice for the bookshelf cabinets, and you could use rub•n•buff if you wanted them to be gold. The size looks perfect, I think. The teapot is adorable. You’ll have shelves in the coffee pantry, won’t you? Maybe you can put it there. The reeded glass lamps are a real score! They’d be beautiful on a dining room buffet or something like that. Please take us along to the flea market!! I’ve missed you and your mom’s trips to the flea market.

Those are tostones chips made from plantain. We make them from actual plantain with garlic, but not as a chip. Love the pillows.
the cabinet hardware is actually the perfect color in my opinion. the warm pewter goes perfect with your paint, i don't think they need to be any warmer or brassier. keep them as is :)
The knobs are really cottage-ish and look cute! Long handles will look modern, but if that’s what you are going for, keep looking. I think everything y got really works. 👍🏼👍🏼

MaCenna while I was at the dump this man pulls up in an SUV and opened his trunk and he had tons of boxes with old books he was tossing in dumpster..I said you throwing them away he said yes do you want some so I helped myself and got a lot of old books for decor..I thought of you when I was going thru the boxes I said to myself boy would MaCenna love this and best part it was all free..❤️
TOSTONES!!! Yes, yes!! I’m Puerto Rican and we make them all the time! Fried green plantains…totally a staple Carribean food! Just not bbq flavored tho! We use garlic and salt. Glad you like!! 🥰

Content suggestion/request: tools and how to use them.
The other day, I was so interested in how you installed the sandpaper sheet to your palm sander. I've had one like that a couple years, but have been stymied because I didn't understand how the sandpaper attaches. Sometimes provided instructions aren't very helpful. I since learned because I asked my brother to show me I still haven't begun my project (prepping baseboards for painting) because I don't know what grit paper to use.
It was very helpful when you showed us the product to seal your painted cabinets by the fireplace. I didn't know such a product existed.
More videos like that, please.

I love the pulls and the lamp is the perfect color for your home! Don’t change it, do something with the lampshade.
Laughing because that EXACT throw blanket you got at HomeGoods, I have it on me as I am watching you. I absolutely love that throw. You know how some throws make you too hot or don't keep you warm enough? For some reason, it keeps me at the perfect temperature and is so comfortable. Loved it so much, I went back and bought two more. Also, no matter how many times you wash it, it remains as good as when you got it..including the fringe.
The second way you pronounced it was correct. If you have never made homemade tostones, you totally should! Easy to make and delicious!!
Tostones are made with green plantains, if you liked those, you would LOVE freshly made ones. Cut the green plantains into rounds (around 1'' each), fry them until light golden, take them out, smash em with the bottom of a cup or a plate, fry 'em again until golden. Some garlic salt and giiiiirrrrrlllll....let me tell you. Some mayoketchup on the side and smile for hours
The textured lamp that you bought for $55 matches the room very well with the white shade and the creamier greenish-yellow bottom it matches your walls and wainscotting.

Tostones is a Dominican dish, we (I am Dominican) slice the plantains and fry them for like 2 min on either side, then we take them out to smash them and Fry them again for extra crispiness. You can add seasoning but we only add salt to taste usually. We eat them as a side dish. What you had was a "chips" version of that.
If the cabinet knobs you bought are steel you can heat them up with a propane torch & use a brass wire brush to transfer the brass finish to the knobs! I did this recently for door knobs I bought on eBay for some french doors I have in my house and it turned out really nice!

If the little knobs don't work as actual knobs, you can create a hanging block to display some of the really neat looking kitchen tools you've gotten. Just an Idea. Beautiful lighting options.
LMFAO, I was just going to grab a bag of BBQ Tostones in Homegoods an hour ago and put them back. Tostones are fried plantains native dish in the Caribbean Islands. You made my day with this. I screamed to my husband, "Macenna is eating the BBQ tostones I almost bought." You said it so perfectly, btw. Just love you!!!
Tostones is a very puertorrican food, reason why everything was in Spanish in the bag. I don't think I know of anyone that doesn't eat tosotones here in Puerto Rico. Although BBQ tostones is not a thing here (try them with mayo-ketchup instead), I was so excited seeing her trying our food! 😁

TOSTONES they are from Puerto Rico and Cuba. They are made of the big long green banana. We cut it in 1 Inch , fry it , take it out and squeeze it and fry it again . I Love them ❤❤❤❤

Hey! Advice on blow drying your bangs, blow dry both sides together up and back over the round brush. Once dry let them fall and cool. If you need them to go back a little more, use the technique you used in this video. I hope this helps!
Tostones is what we call fried plantain when is green in Puerto Rico. When is ripe is maduro, is really sweet, and we eat it with meats, rice

When you need a longer throw blanket for the foot of the king size bed…. Look at twin size blankets or quilts, they work great as accent blankets that way

To me, the ceramic lamps seemed to match the color of the bottom part of the walls in the room you were filming in. I love them. I remember you loving and finding some "ribbed" clear bowls. When I saw yours I had to find a couple that I have similar but mine have "feet" on them. Loved the candle you bought. Glad you are feeling better.
I think that lamp would look sharp on the kitchen counter behind you , and it gives out a really beautiful soft light. I also think the knobes look so pretty, a bar pull might look too modern.

I buy up all the Sand & Fog candles I can find in TK Maxx (TJ Maxx in USA). Their candles smell so scrumptious. They tend to burn through a wee bit quicker than some like Yankee Candles, but I far prefer the Sand & Fog candles. Fabulous haul MaCenna. Lee xx
