Hi Cheryl!! Lovely Frankie T.. Gorgeous fabric as always..
💜💜🧵🧵
thank you Deana 😊
Great fabrics and ideas!! The 'bees" are sold out!! :+(
I take my washable bags to to the mart when I go. Thanks for covering an important subject!!
Have a great week!
thank you so much, sorry about the bees, there will be more 😊
@@StitchyBee oh good! :+)
Your hair is absolutely stunning. The grey looks like a deliberate styling choice, even though I know you're growing it out but it is gorgeous as it is now!
Georgiana's Studio ahh thanks Georgiana 😊😘👩🏻🦳👩🏻🦳
i love your hair 🥰 and beautiful fabrics❤️
Lovely fabrics. I live in the US and don’t find such nice fabrics in our chain shops and unfortunately the small independent shops are closing. Keep up buying such good quality fabrics for your UK customers.
Dorothy Way thank you so much Dorothy for your lovely kind words 💐
I can recommend your pink Rosie Blooms Cotton Viscose> I am making a shirt dress. As you said it is lovely to sew with and I am really pleased with how it is coming along.
Thank you so much Rosemary 😊💐 Glad to hear you’re enjoying your fabric.
I'm grey and love it, I stopped dying my hair about 10 years ago and its so liberating
Great vlog as always Cheryl, loving all yr fabrics especially the linen viscose and the foil jersey xx
All the fabrics are beautiful, you are so generous with your knowledge and ideas, you always put a smile on my face, look forward to seeing your makes 😊😊😊😊
Vicki Thompson thank you Vicki 😘
Wonderful fabrics you have... love your hair, I haven't dye mine since 2011! And everyone loves it! Have a wonderful day. Christine
hey, well done Christine 😊 Thank you, have a great day too.
I only just found you recently and had no idea you had a shop! I know exactly what you mean about jersey, just bought some that was fab but when I reordered in other colours it just wasn't the same. Loved seeing all your pretty fabrics 💜
Loved this vlog, it’s so much better when you can see the fabric and your suggestions, I made a Freya with the perfect jersey in blush, really good quality, one of my favourite tops. Your hair is fab by the way! 🤗
thank you so much 😊
Love this vlog Cheryl. You have some beautiful fabrics, the pink viscose is to die for, but beyond my sewing skills at the mo. I feel very inspired now, thank you! X
Sara G ahh thanks Sara, yayy 🎉💐
Lovely to see you here, great fabrics too. I've just grabbed some jersey for a couple of white and blue frankie s that have been in my head for ages!
thanks Debs 😊
Oh my I had resisted but that poppy jersey looks even more lovely than I thought. I think I am going to have to indulge. Great fabrics and advice as always, you have brightened up a very dull day in France 😁
Thanks Josie 😊
Loved all of the fabrics
thanks Maureen, something a bit different this time 😊
I absolutely love your vlogs - it's always a good day when another one pops up! Your hair is looking fantastic and is such a lovely shade of silver.
Jo Nelder aww thanks Jo 😊🙏🏻
Lovely video as always, and great fabrics too X
thanks Lynn 😊
Must get on and make a frankie, I've done freya and agnes, I think my daughter wants one too :) And thanks for sharing the fabrics, love the linen viscose. Sarah
You’ll love making the Frankie. Thanks for watching 💐
I use reusable supermarket bags, love all of the fabric
Julia Droy thanks Julia, yes I think Sainsburys sell the muslin ones to reuse for fruit and veg 💐
Love your frankie t , gorgeous fabric so I just ordered some , exciting , I made a Frankie t today and whoops the neckline does need slightly more fabric , wish I had watched your podcast first tho , but a lesson learnt , Thankyou so much !!
Elaine ahh thanks Elaine, hope it goes better next time for you 😊
They say your face changes a bit when our hair goes gray, features are softer, and that letting that gray out is a good thing! I finally had to just cut mine and start over, and darn if it s not as gray as I’d like. But it’s getting there, so I’m happy I started over. You’ve got enough gray now to not have to pixie cut it but a good length anyway! Good luck, and it IS just hair, which conveniently grows back!
Great video -- loving your updates.
published1789 thank you 😊
Oh my goodness Lisa! I thought exactly the same thing when I saw that blouse on the advert! 👏🏼😊😘
Lynne McLeod it’s amazing isn’t it? 😊
Frankie T is beautiful. I made for the first time last year and have now made 4. Yours is great. I’ve made it in a French Terry and it works perfectly! I loved that gold leaf fabric but I didn’t get any. If you get more, let me know. Always enjoy your motivational videos
Jan Spenno thanks Jan 😊 I’m on the case with more foil jersey 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I just found your channel today (subscribed) Loved this video. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Annette Lundy thank you so much Annette 💐
Beautiful fabrics Cheryl and a lovely baseball tee. I’d love to make a two tone one with the grey. I still have the perfect blush from you so maybe with that. I’m not doing much sewing as feels more difficult to get going but tops are such a basic. ThNk you 😊😘
Ruth Lanwarne thanks Ruth, hope you have a good rest from sewing for a while, it’s nice just to catch up with videos on here too when you can’t get to your machine. Thanks for your kind words and support after all this time 🌷x
Lovely fabrics as always Cheryl. I don’t think I’ve bought any if your perfect jersey yet (no idea why), but I need to as I want to make some basics this year. Another great Frankie Tee. Looking fab as a,ways. Thanks for sharing😻
sewagnes thank you as always Agnes 💐
Cheryl you are amazing you look good and your fabric speaks for itself they are beautiful and I just love buying fabric from you, because you describe the fabrics you sale so well and it is true how they feel. Thank you so much for sharing. Loving the perfect Jersey I need to order some grey and black colours to make my other half a Frankie top. Have a beautiful day happy sewing 🤗 🤗
sarah jocker thank you Sarah, I appreciate your kind words 😊😘
@@StitchyBee You are most well come xx
I kept telling myself: you don’t need fabric, you don’t need fabric! And I ordered the Mulberry linen viscose😂🤩💃🏻
Diana Voermans whoops, sorryyyy 😊😘 Thank you though 🙏🏻
Please, please, please see if you can get some more of that bee foil fabric!! I absolutely adore it
Hiya Cheryl, love your paper packaging! Bobby 😃
Bobby Woodrow thanks Bobby, it’s much better 🌱😊
You Frankie Tee looks gorgeous!! I have made one using your perfect tee fabric and it really is beautiful quality. I also made a Tacara dress from Seamwork from the same fabric and it is brilliant for that. I will be ordering more! Your hair is looking great!
ahh hat's good to know, thanks Susan. I'll check out the Tacara pattern, I haven't come across it before. Thanks again for your kind words :-)
@@StitchyBee yes do check it out it is cocoon shaped and your Jersey has enough weight to hold this shape in a drapey way lighter weight may not and make the dress a bit slinkier if that makes sense! Anyway I think it would really suit you!
Your hair matches your top!
Jenny Sutton ha ha, I’ve become quite fond of grey 😊
Your hair is looking fantastic!!!
Just made my first Frankie, I love it, I totally messed up the neckband, but I don't care! Haha
Thanks Cat 😊 Whoops about the Frankie 🤭 Next one will be perfect 💖
Fantastic fabrics and can recommend the beautiful linen viscose it’s just as gorgeous as on camera, together with cream floral. I love your fabric hauls they just bring your lovely fabrics to life thanks. Could you recommend a wrap/kaftan pattern for holiday?
Wendy Ware thanks so much Wendy 😊😊 Yes, The Tunic Bible sewing book has lots of patterns, by Julie Starr 👍🏻👍🏻
My nan also had one of those tomatoes
💖
Thanks for this vlog, all the different types of fabric really confuse me and when I went into the local store I couldn't make head nor tail of what fabric was suitable for what and there was nobody around to advise me so I ended up leaving with no fabric and very disappointed, so thanks again and I will be off to watch some more vlogs in a bit. Jane
Jane Cartmale thanks Jane 😊 I’m going to make lots more fabric videos as I would have found it helpful too. Thanks for watching 💐
I think you'll look stunning when you are completely grey. ☺️
bazoin1 thank you so much👩🏻🦳💐
As a newbe at buying fabric on line this video is a great help! I would love to try a bodycon dress but looking for fabric that isn't too clingy! Would the Ponte Roma work? I don't want to have to put in a zip. Thanks you.
Thanks Geraldine Ponte is a great alternative and I feel more covered in it - hides my bumpy bits 😊 The Tilly Coco dress is a perfect Ponte pattern 👍🏻
@@StitchyBee thank you I will get an order in!
Missing your videos. I’m hoping all is well with you and your family.
🐯
Hi Cheryl just a top for all your viewers. Any leftover jersey is perfect for reusable face wipes just zigzag or overlock edges and you’re done 🤗🤗
Wendy B perfect, thanks Wendy 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
When you were explaining how to handle your spotty chiffon fabric, for a moment I thought you said "use lots of PIMM'S" Haha! ;-)
ha ha ha ha, now that sounds like a plan to me Jo 😊
❤️👌👍👏😊🌹😍
Cheryl, where have you been. Miss you.
Will you please help/tell me how to order 2 yards of your fabric from the United States? I see two different fabrics that I really like. I don’t understand what number to enter on your website. Our yardage and your metric system confuses me. I didn’t learn metric when I went to school. Thank you.
1950steele Hey 👋🏻 A metre is just a little bit more than a yard (just 3 inches more), so don’t worry too much. If you need 2 yards of fabric, just add 4 items, and so on 👍🏻
I do understand that delivery costs are expensive though to ship to the U.S, so please don’t worry about buying. I just try and help everyone around the world to learn a bit more about each fabric type so that it’s easier for you wherever you buy. Thanks for watching 💐😊
Thank you for replying to my comment. I have ordered from you one other time but didn’t remember how I did it. Where I live there is only one store that sells fabric and there isn’t much to choose from and it’s about an hour away. You have beautiful fabrics. I love the white fabric with the gold leaves which is what I purchased. The dress fit you perfect. Thanks again.
Oh my goodness Cheryl! I just called you Lisa! So sorry! 😘😊
Lynne McLeod no worries Lynne 😊🌷
I miss your videos. When will you be back?
Aww thank you. How does Wednesday sound? 😁😘
