Did you watch yesterdays episode of Hermitcraft? I've got another one coming soon! 🙂

I need the orange colour for armour trims like rn
You missed Potatoe lashing which was probably the coolest thing.
The potato update deserves an actual full survival playthrough with builds, storage and beating the game. Havent seen any youtuber make one yet, just Sausage Martyn and the boys messing around with full inventories and no real game plans.
@@MrSinister718it's too early - but probably one that will get some proper playthroughs. I have seen some people try finish it without any modifiers and creative, but no proper playthroughs yet. SmallAnt for example took 5 hours to finish the boss fight. He did some exploration, most achievements and then with his weak loot, went at the boss, which he ultimately had to cheese with kicking back the fire charges and using lava buckets, because he lost his whole loot in first 30 seconds of the fight. 😅
xB and Beef are gonna try to do some Trophy Fraud, (just repeatedly buying out each other's shops), just thought you'd like to know.
Ooh, with the Ender Pearl + Breeze interaction, I can already imagine skill shots made by angling multiple of them together!
Didn't expect seeing you here
I agree a lot of it feels liken prototype ideas that they think could be too far, but personally, I would like the rocket block
A mob-powered enderpearl stasis chamber
@@georgemccartney8906 It seems lower maintenance, but probably not as optimal or server-friendly as a bubble column.
@@juliocesarfernandesrodrigu8110 But here I am…
I really really hope some of those snapshot mechanics make it into the game because they are actually so interesting. That sticky effect could maybe be gotten through layers of slime instead of mashed potatoes. Having slime layers that act similar to snow layers would be pretty cool.
My perspective is that this snapshot is like a demo of the things they could implement in Minecraft. I would bet either some of these things will come in some way, or more importantly these ideas will drive player suggestions which usually helps the devs add things the players want and will enjoy.
Think a potion of stickiness made by brewing netherwart with honey bottles would make sense.
You mean like the slime in create mod?
The april fools updates are Mojang being allowed to do their job, Microsoft management are the ones that prevent any real interesting features & updates from happening (don't want to kill the golden goose)
And the Potato dimension could end up being the slime dimension. Could be a fun world to look at
One thing you didn't mention which I noticed and posted on Reddit is the fact that they made it so rain actually only happens below cloud level.
Before, rain happened at any height regardless of clouds, but in this snapshot it actually only rains if you're below the cloud level, and remains clear above them.
Riptide users are NOT eating
@@echo5172 can confirm :(
What about snow? Since snow in many biomes is height-dependent, and the threshold of "high enough to snow" can be _well above_ the clouds... This change is big for realism, but does have downsides (maybe if they also make cloud height a per-world editable setting like a gamerule, it could let everyone eat their cake)
Maybe they should add a layer 2 clouds or smth then as mountains go past it in pretty sure, or just move clouds upwards
Is this in the 1.20 or the April fools? Lol
It’s cool that the Amber has the old Ruby texture! I love all these experimental aspects in this April fools update. I hope we can see some of these implemented in future updates! This is a great way to test things within vanilla minecraft without full commitment
A veteran I see
I would love to see a way to get that orange color on armor trims. Even though I would personally never use it, it would be nice having more color choices for events where you have teams or just people who like orange
They’re not experimental, they went into the April Fools thing because there’s no plan to ever put them in the game.
@@ChrisPtoes27 Exactly! I would love a full rainbow for the armor trims! Copper and iron feel too, gritty and dull compared to the gemlike ores so it’d be nice to have a bright orange!
@@fashnek that’s exactly what experimental means. I doubt they’ll add everything, but if something sticks they have groundwork to add it in later. Biomes on the y-axis were supported in the 2020 April fools update which lead to the biomes we see in caves today. Coal and redstone blocks, stained glass were from the minecraft 2.0 April fools, and copper grates were from a recent one too and they are being added due to the enormous favorable feedback.
pretty sure that a lubrication factor of 1 just means that it doesn't lose any momentum while sliding on the floor
Aka no friction
yes but the display might just be rounding up to 1
@@ab-mc2nq
Not just the display, I'm pretty sure floating point arithmetic can't handle that many decimal points anyway
the Ender Pearl + Breeze interaction allows a new way to make a stasis chamber in the Nether!
What about Shulker bullets and Wither skulls?
I doubt it'll work in survival. the only reason that worked for here was because the Breeze had no AI and didn't move.
@@monatae9725You should be able to trap a breeze.
@@MalloonTarka yeah, but even in boats they can spin around. we'll see what the tech community comes up with, I suppose.
@@monatae9725Did spinning affect it? If it did, I missed it. I thought it was bouncing on its head, which spinning wouldn't affect.
I think they've changed the way that rain works: it no longer rains when you're above the clouds. A strange thing to add to a joke snapshot exclusively
The changelog mentioned something about dynamic weather, which I would love to see implemented into the base game. It's annoying on multiplayer servers when it's always raining for everybody because nobody sleeps.
@@brickbot2.038 would also love to see the snow mechanics in Bedrock added to Java
@@LegorityThey already did, in 1.19.3, as new gamerule!
/gamerule snowAccumulationHeight [amount]
Unless you mean the gravity effects, which would also be cool.
@@brickbot2.038 that plus the gravity effects and making leaves white
@@brickbot2.038 Agreed, I like that deserts etc don't have rain while others do, so why not make it all location based, not just biome. Being on a big server in a rainy forest while everyone has nice sunshine would feel so special.
I like the dent being used to make the trident. This April fools snapshot has been so good!
if I had to guess, the lubrication thing directly controls the velocity lost due to friction- thus, 1.0 means it multiplies it's present velocity by 1- IE, in theory it should never lose momentum due to being perfectly frictionless. accordingly if a value greater than 1 was possible, it'd result in the item accelerating
It’s incredibly silly and barely worth doing outside of a minigame, but there’s something there of interest. Maybe.
Probably not.
@@RePorpoised If the lubrication effect stays applied when the block is placed, then it could make for some much more efficient item transport system designs.
I was legit surprised when Xisuma tested throwing the ice, but not taking a bunch of it and making a belt to throw other items on, which seemed like the more obvious ice thing to do.
@@guerillagrueplays6301- Right? When i saw the ice come out, I immediately expected him to place the lubricated ice blocks down and then throw items on top, to see what would happen.
The lubrication stuff could be a hint for a friction attribute for entities being added. (Just did a short research and it seems like bedrock already has a way to control an entities friction, while java has not. This solidifies my theory xD)
give me a drink bartender
if only attributes could work on boats
A game theoryyyyyyy 💚
Amber (including impurities) sounds so much like a prototype for Archeology!
The Floaters might be a prototype for something similar to flying machines since that has been a long established contraption. But now smoother and with less risk of falling off. Interesting indeed.
Completely agree about the prototyping. Several of the past april fools updates have actually been leaps in minecrafts capabilities that were later added to the game either through features or data pack options. The community outrage about this update is very uncalled for.
"The community outrage about this update is very uncalled for." Welcome to the Minecraft player base, where no one knows how professional game development works, but everyone is angry because they're sure Mojang is doing it wrong and they can do it better because they've made a mod with Forge once 🤷♂
There are valid things to criticize Mojang and Microsoft for but most people just want excuses to be angry.
What were some previous April Fools jokes that got added into features?
@@elliotgandersen The "Infinity" update that added random dimensions ultimately became the ability for datapacks to add/define custom dimensions, for one thing.
@@elliotgandersen
Stained glass and horses are a couple of pretty old examples. The newest would be attributes, giving the ability to change stuff like gravity and mob size.
I love how he's still in the Potato realm.
Otatop
@@someonehavinganidentitycrisis Suonosiop
He belongs to the potato now
He was sealed for 1000 years
It's the best update of the year I don't blame em
Gotta love more April Fools update coverage, it was pretty cool this year!
One cool detail is that the maze texture on the potato doors matches the maze that spawns in the village :D
My guess for these prototypes in an end update:
- floataters: end ship engine
- xp storage, not end related but there should be a echo vile made from echo shards to hold xp and drink it or smthin
- toxic resin, since the end is supposed ot be a barren hoarded dimension toxic waste seems appropriate
- lubrication: make blocks not stick to other blocks like slime blocks etc, rather than having to use glazed terracotta or tile entities; even more useful for the floataters
- mashed potato: ashes in like an ash land biome or smthin
Maybe toxic resin should be sulfur?
@@Ertplays I was thinking like a sort of endermite hive or infestation biome, where endermite hatch from ender pearl like eggs in a cocoon like thingy hanging below the islands, in this biome less or no endermen spawn and all that's left is void blocks (like from mc dungeons), endsand/end rubble and pneumatic bones (enderdragon remains with wierd modified bones with also more air in them) above ground which could serve as what endermites live inside? Like bees; and this wasteland has toxic water. Idk just some concepts
The mashed potato one is a huge stretch lmao
It's simply something that already exists in the game (snow layers) and its main gimmick is that you can eat it.
@@user-tzzglsstle585e38 well yeah... I think I started writing more on what each thing could be turned into rather than what it's hinting at
@skulkingshadow The point is they wouldn't need to test that. Making ashes like that would be almost as simple as copying the snow layer code and slapping a grey texture on it. The floatater and other things make sense as potential new features since they're actually new systems/mechanics that they'd need to test.
I gotta say, alot of things from this year's April Fools update really need to be in the game. The Flotater block chief among them, with all the countless redstone flying machine designs out there on RUclips.
Yeah. That woulde be nice.
there could not be a thing that belongs to a game less than a floater
Xisuma bouncing a pearl on the breeze: 😊 haha
Etho somewhere probably: 👁️👄👁️📝
A lot of these new mechanics would add more intricate playtime but with less Grindy resource gathering, for example having lubricant means i dont have to search and grind for ice or use water streams in my red stone builds.
it’s a nice quality of life feature and i think it aligns pretty well with the kind of changes mojang has been making but i feel like with changes like these we’re just avoiding building structures and gathering resources (a core part of the game that can be pretty boring and tedious) instead of making the process itself more fun… just my recent thoughts
But you have to search for lubricant after that
@@dhaffafrz so how does that make resource gathering and building more fun?
forced 64-bit means that world sizes can be increased! no longer 30 million block world border
Oh is that true? Interesting!
Would there even be a world border since it probably can go into tge billions now rigjt
in principle, it makes sense they could be increased. But even if the x and z coords are stored using a 32 bit signed integer, you could still have a world border of over 2 billion. So I'm not sure specifically where the 30 million border comes from.
Isnt 30 mil big enough?
@@cutestcreeper569 no
I did not expect the Ender pearl to be pushed by the slab! That's actually crazy!
Looks like a concept for the world's most compact Ender Pearl stasis chamber.
@@GSBarlev And, as somebody said here, Nether-friendly
The floater is clearly added to further test the smooth movement mechanic that they also added to the projectiles. We will absolutely see something like that in the future.
The fletcher table is now not just useless, it's niche and useless. A brilliant gag imo.
The amber will absolutely return now that we have armour trims. This and a full decorative block would be awesome. It'd also be funny if the way to obtain it is from sniffers on deepslate. Weird unexpected interactions, just like how you get froglights.
The projectile fix was just a desync between the power amounts on the server and client, it stuttered because it got updated soon after it started moving, now it does right away. The floater block is likely something different entirely
Amber gems are just a colourswap of the ruby. They’re just adding onto the fletching table joke as well as poking fun at the villagers being unbalanced.
Maybe we will get a new ore somewhere in the near future. But it certainly won’t be the amber gem.
Yay, I can tell you read the wiki. I've been working non-stop for the past 3 days to try and document the potato update, glad it's being useful!
The amber system is cool, but maybe needs its own "polishing" type work station. The fletching table doesn't quite work, but that system is pretty awesome
I hope we maybe can use sculk catalysts and echo shards to store xp that way. I suspect that is what they are going to do. Fells like a great fit for an item name "echo shard" and they don have much other uses anyway.
The april fools updates are actually very important for minecrafts future. Imagine putting features like this (without the potato theme) into an actual snapshot or minecraft live stream. People would be furious is not everything were to be added. But april fools snapshots come with less expectation. Devs can safely test what features would be well received by the community. Its become their playground cause testing core features that might not even make it into the game is no longer possible due to community backlash and media reception. Snapshots are nowadays expected to be a tool to gather feedback on how a feature works instead of if it should be added altogether.
I would assume the lubrication factor is the inverse of friction. Therefore, a lubrication factor of 1 would mean 0 friction and the item should continue sliding forever, so long as something doesn't get in it's way.
Pretty sure that the Lubrication Factor is the amount of speed the item retains every physics tick
So if it's 1.0 that means it keep 100% of it's velocity meaning it has no friction and will slide forever or until it hits a wall
Man, these “engine” blocks are like stuff from mods, this April Fools update is actually a goldmine for new cool mechanics.
I like the idea of a jam of techanics and blocks all added into a single snapshot and let the communnity give their feedback on it. I just hope we won't have to wait another year for this kind of update again !
I really hope that some of this is Mojang experimenting with ideas for the next update.
6:40 I like how one of those villagers are just missing texture
The floater in combination with the block breaker from the previous april fools snapshot could give us a fully functionning tunnel miner. I know that flying machines exist, but it would be a more elegant solution.
And yes those special blocks are imperfect and could use some polishing, but it's a concept that I think could be very intersting
happy to see more effects! Ive been creating a mod that uses minecraft potion effects in a special way and i love that i can start expanding the roster again
I love that armor trim. Hopefully, we could get it in a future update.
thinking of the April Fools snapshots as a way to test partially implemented mechanics makes the snapshots so much more interesting in my mind. Plus it's a great way to get management buy in on releasing a "joke" snapshot for "no reason"
I get the airplane block was made for april fools but the amount of effort that went into it makes it feel like its an actual feature
I think the sticky effect is similar to sliding down honey? Also the lubrication 1.0 probably is the max and means it's frictionless, it will likely go forever, you should have tried it on a super flat world for fun
You're not the only one who feels like the April Fools joke this year was a trial run for future features. This honestly feels like a preview of a potential End update, especially given the floating islands and cloud blocks, and how the Floater and Lashing Potato feel like they could be used to traverse the End Islands more easily for those that don't have an Elytra yet.
I think if MC is smart, it would be funny if the Slimy effect potion was actually brewed using the Poisonous Potatoes. Alluding to the April fools update. Yeah it doesn’t make alot of sense but we already have the spider eye to make Poison potions and it would give a purpose to poisonous potatoes
The new ender pearl on the breeze “bug” can be used to make stasis chambers in bedrock (for some reason, they don’t work for me) and in the nether!
Glad you mentioned about using multiple engines. Have heard too many complaining about it being too slow when the opposite is true.
I love the grappling hook thing!
It really feels like they are gearing up for an end update. I could see so many of these features working if they just had different visuals.
here’s hoping
I like how a large majority of the potato update's features are all extremely popular suggestions people have been asking for lol.
X's point about prototyping is a good one. Mojang can use April Fools as an excuse to engage with the community by making public things that they otherwise might be experimenting with in secret. Free crowd sourced beta testing, super-chaged by highly analytical folks who happily upload their play testing footage in 4k. Then anything that gets shelved PR can easily say, "Well, it's just April fools..." Totally genius.
Think it would be pretty cool if Elder guardians to drop those dents
Nah dents are a pun.
Tridents are valuable due to their rarity. Making them farmable with one of the most common farms would make them lose much of their value. You would quickly enter a state of having more tridents than you’d ever want.
@@RePorpoised I don’t see how locking the rarity behind a rare underwater thing would change it
@@RePorpoised one is a common zombie spawn, that doesn’t have too rare of a chance of getting the trident and the other is a boss you have to fight in a rare underwater temple and it only gives you 1/3 of the item
@@RePorpoised If the dents drop from elder guardians they won't be farmable. While the standard, smaller guardians are farmable, elder guardians aren't because they don't respawn after you kill them. Even then, guardian farms take a long time to make and I wouldn't call them common farms.
Considering how rare tridents are in java, this would be a great opportunity for the devs to give players more of a reason to loot ocean monuments. Three elder guardians spawn per monument, so clearing a full temple would give a single trident. Right now monuments just give sponges and a cool building block, which is honestly not worth the effort of getting past all the guardians.
@@Iterrion ooooooooooooooh my bad. I read guardians, not elder guardians oops.
Yeah, while I do kind of like the idea of creating a full trident after raiding a monument, the stupidity of the pun is just too unforgiveable.
Also, dents would become a trash item, a crafting item that is useless as itself because it would be too rare to have any other crafting recipes than tridents, but that can only be crafted into tridents, which can actually be farmed(although difficult and maybe a lil annoying). If more than one person raids a monument, the share of dents becomes a little awkward. It just doesn't really have much design space open for it.
tldr: On a vibes level, I'd be down, but gameplay-wise, not so much.
Some of the things included (like the floater blocks) feel like they could be part of an end update at some point in the future. Also I really hope we get a grappling hook soon, it would be an amazing addition and so helpful for traversal of the map.
I like the idea of a plant that 'eats' EXP.
Except with amounts it grows in size and become rather 'aggressive' to players.
Destroying it does give the EXP back, but 2/3 of what it received.
isnt that basically what skulk is?
So skulk then?
It would function better as a block tbh, it should definitely be a new sculk block.
We could get a new sculk block that performs this function.
Or something more akin to a carnivorous plant
9:30 Something you didn't mention was that the sticky effect also allows you to climb up walls like a spider
3:11 Ohhh, it's like the brain in a jar from Thaumcraft.
Y’know I think they might be testing something with Skulk with the Big Brain block
Like, skulk is grown by xp, so it makes sense that it would store it somewhere, maybe implementing how the big brain block works to make seeking out and clearing skulk catalysts more worth it by allowing you to collect all the xp a skulk growth has collected
4:04 Did he forget the skulk Catalyst? That's literally what it does!
Not the same way as this.vyou could farm potatoes that hold large amounts of xp and take them with you
@@xisumavoid True but the skulk catalyst does use XP to create skulk blocks which drop XP, and you can take *those* with you.
It almost seems like the big brain was an early prototype for the same concept.
I kind of like the way the big brain was implemented more though.
No it doesn't lol
@@MrMelonszthe sculk drops its xp separate from the block when it’s broken
@@Ertplays Yeah, I’m aware. :D
I’m just saying that it’s essentially the same concept, simply with extra steps.
How the ice blocks and potatoes were sliding reminded me of bowling (new minigame idea?). Also, idk if there was one but there should've been a potato battery that can be crafted with some redstone dust and potatoes and functions like a redstone block x2
The sticky effect lets you climb up walls too & lashing potato works really well with elytra or potatlytra (whatever it's called)
5:07 TRENT RESIN ORE DID THE SOUNDTRACK
i have been thinking this every single time i hear someone talk about this update. i wonder if someone at mojang knew lmao
I think this is less of a prototype and more of a demonstration/showcase of how they're changing the engine to assist and support modders and creators
Yup. Nearly every April fools has lead to fundamental game changes, all stemming from borderline insane features and concepts. (Horses were unheard of during AF of Minecraft 2.0, but they became a core feature). Same with coal blocks and stained glass
The scope of this april fool’s snapshot probably has a lot to do with the item component system and the addition of display entities. In this case, it’s almost an example of what’s been possible to do with those tools. As opposed to previous years where it was more of a reveal of things they were working on behind the scenes.
I agree, but even still some things I don't believe could have been done with the current game engine - floater blocks, for instance.
1:00 This also affects any projectile when you try to change its velocity with commands. The client side won't update it for a bit so it will jitter. Long-standing issue for mapmakers.
Amber trims look so good!
The "dent" item should absolutely be an Elder Guardian drop in vanilla, a way to craft trident but not have it be super easy is great
the trident recipe thingy seems cool tbhj, imagine a new gjuardian variant that doesnt only spawn in monuments but in warm oceons and it has like 1/500 chance of dropping ap iec of that would be amazing.
The Sticky effect should be combined with the Oozing effect, that way it has more uses outside of just making extremely overpowered slime farms.
I think the lubrication factor may be the rate of decay for the speed of the dropped item? Essentially, what I mean is that if it's at 1, the speed won't drop because the formula would be speed x 1, which means the speed won't change. Then, going above 1 means it starts accelerating on the ground.
They should totally add the trident recipe. Maybe guardians can drop 'dent' equivalents and maybe instead of sticks it could be breeze rods
I can just imagine the map making potential with the floater block.
Mojang should add it as a creative only block,
like the command block and the structure block.
That id love to see!
1:10 finally we might actually be able to hit ghast’s fireballs. I swear I hit it back at them sometimes and then the ground explodes around me
The xp absorber would make enderman xp farms better tbf, since rather than standing around waiting for the orbs to go away you can just break and eat the block after some amount of time
I think this is a prototype for the deep dark dimension because
1. There are infected versions of mobs like skulk and how it infects other blocks and the the warden
2. Minecraft just posted a video about the warden hinting of updating him or the deep dark
3. Most things seem like skulk
4. the big brain block is similar to skulk catalysts and overall exp is related to skulk
5. The dimension seems to be in total darkness
6. There are villagers there whom are infected. They may be the people who build the portal and the cities and the warden (if it is like iron golems but infected)
I built a stacking raid farm a few years ago, ran it once, and i'm pretty much good for emeralds until the end of time.
The "dent" NEEDS to be in the game. I've always thought ocean guardians should either drop a trident or drop crafting materials for one. Farming for drops is misery so it seems like a decent reward for clearing an ocean monument. It could make the trident something casual players actually use.
Well there's a couple of feature from April Fool's update that ended up in vanilla, for example Horse and Redstone
The Potato update It really feels like they're setting up for an Aether update
would be hype af
9:31 you can also climb walls like a spider with the sticky effect
ALSO! a small detail to the poisonous potato thingy is that whenever you walk on it and than walk on on a different block, you leave footsteps! (idk if it's related to the effect you get)
In case you didnt know, you can actualy get the three new mace enchantments from villagers, even if you dont have the experimental features activeted. Im pretty sure this IS a bug
A lot of these features play some key factor in verticallity, from the grappletato, the flotater, and the sticky effect. I genuinely hope this implies they're going to be used in an End Update that takes advantage of height and floating islands, would make perfect sense to supplement the game with content before the elytra.
The lubricated items reach lubrication factor of 1.0 at 54x lubricated, if I recall correctly. But the difference is miniscule.
It's probably float point approximation that's the reason for this. In theory you should be able to lubricate it infinitely and it won't ever reach 1.
@@victorien3704 Ok yeah, probably after that point the digits that can be shown just round to 1.0.
I want that grappling hook so bad. Something that you can shoot up and then freely change your height while hanging from a ceiling. Would make survival building so much easier.
4:07 The sculk catalyst is very similar.
i like that you have to craft the trident....so many stuff were modded things and I'm happy they think of trying them out
I really hope we can get the moving objects capabilities as well as a way to steer it
I got jumped scared when I ate my potato shoes.
to combact ask fishing, they could add a random guardian spawn from the rod, and that could drop a dent, making trident obtainable in superflat
no
The floaters are great and I hope something like them gets added at some point but there should be a way to prevent your airship from taking parts of the world with it if it bumps into something. Idk, maybe some kind of block that is sticky on one side and non-sticky on the other that you put around your airship (preferably it looks like iron or wood on the outside)
I also feel like there should be a way to make boats and land vehicles like this that is less expensive than flying vehicles. Maybe they should make that first if they want to go in this direction.
Cool how the amber gem is a recolered version of the old ruby item
many of the april fools updates have been prototypes for features. i remember different biomes in the same x and z coordinate but different y appeared in an april fools update before the nether and cave updates.
1:56 We just witnessed the first breeze stasis chamber in the making
I want to see floater contraptions
I want to see floater TNT torpedoes
the EXP brain block reminds me of Skulk
I think the potato items are tests for making more craftable stuff out of skulk, like those boots.
Again, I love to color of the green wood type.
ngl i wouldnt mind seeing the xp storage block in vanilla MC . would come in handy XD
that lubrication thing could lead to a friction attribute... i'd hope there would be a friction and Air friction attribute..... and my thought is that this could be a test to get closer to feature packs in java?
I'd really like to see what else the Floater block can do. Would love to find a way to control them to make flying vehicles or bases.
The sticky effect also allows you to climb blocks like a spider, I really hope that gets added to the game along with the floatato.
I like the idea of them adding variants of mobs that actually have quirks that are more than simple status effects. The stacking of the plague whales and their little brothers was an interesting variation from the guardians. Same with the slime variant with the potato boss with how it doesn't split but instead shrinks when losing health. I also liked how their models were actually altered and not just stock reuse.
Maybe if these are prototype features that Mojang wants to test out and get feedback on then who knows, maybe a boss slime could be added to the game, maybe one out of every 100 or so slime chunks spawns with a slime dungeon where the boss slime exists and it spawns slimes in waves to fight you while you hack off more and more of it as it shrinks.
Maybe the slime boss drops an item that lets you craft a slime chunk compass that points at the nearest slime chunk. Maybe they add a feature to the cartography table where you can craft a special map with the slime chunk compass that points out every slime chunk in an area, and they retroactively update the recovery compass to do the same where you can craft a map that works like a treasure map that shows you where you last died.
Xp absorption block sounds awesome for vanilla to be able to to get xp into a psychical form.
I'm in love with the potato update, I just wish they added all of this to vanilla Minecraft ! Or at least adapt most of the ideas, biomes, features and items to vanilla Minecraft !
No lol, apart from a few blocks and items here and there; they are nothing but novelty and most of them doesn't add anything of value at all in the game, they would get old and seem pointless pretty fast.
@@user-tzzglsstle585e38 i can guarantee to you that redstoners would be able to find some niche specific use for every single block in this update
The dimension and biomes are something anybody can do given some time. They already have tools to make both custom dimensions and biomes.
0:30 It was tuned up on Monday. However, it's only tuned up with a probability.
I really like new ore currency! Those would really balance some of those crazy trades around! Also more trims and expressions!
I bet something similar to the fletching table feature could be actually added to the fletching table in actual updates.
