    • @bluegrasskid4835
      @bluegrasskid4835 Год назад

      I wouldn't go any smaller than the compressor he is using. That one is 5.2 cubic feet per minute (cfm), and I wouldn't go any less. My 26-gallon 4 cfm will run my tornador to a degree, but a higher cfm compressor would do a better job and when I use my tornador, my compressor is running the entire time which is not good for compressors, that can burn up the motor. A 6.2 cfm, 30 gal Dewalt compressor is in my future.

    Oscar, fyi I love my tornador gun but, the original cones are prone to that annoying gouging or rutting.... there are metal lined/cored cones made for the tornador on the market.... that being said, I don't know if there's any differences in the threading/cone length of off brand guns compared to that of the actual big boss tornador. They're not too pricey & helps save your cone from the internal damage that the plastic weights cause inside.

    Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

    What are your thoughts on the Tornador ? I know this tool is just for air but I feel like the Tornador could be better since it has the small container attachment and all you do is flip a switch when you want to dispense the apc or air only

    • @altillman1448
      @altillman1448 3 года назад +4

      Trust me that small container your referencing will get in the way frequently unless you want to buy 2 guns for swapping back and forth. I recommend using any name brand tool only partnered with a pump sprayer like an IK ,Marolex, or cheaper similar alternative sprayer instead. More versatile for the $ imo.

      If you are referring to the one I think you are, the compressor only makes 2.6 cubic feet per minute. The Vortex would drain that extremely quickly. The Vortex needs about 4.5. You would be spending more time waiting for your compressor to refill that actually using the tool.

      @@DetailGroove as that much extractor/vacuum hose on a reel takes up a lot of space and makes it more susceptible to being damaged. I agree it’s probably not much difference or even more convenient for air and pressure hose.

    • @supercharged00gtp
      @supercharged00gtp 3 года назад +2

      There is a tip inside that spins creating air turbulence (like a vortex) that is much more efficient and effective at loosening up and blowing debris out. Especially on the impossible carpets, works great for cracks and crevasses as well - think between the front seat tracks and door sill areas. In same cases you don't even need to vacuum after blowing some areas out.
