Hi Pan, im a year late for looking to buy a conpressor. Is this still relevant or are there anything better up to date? Im looking for a quiet one as the one i had before wakes everyone up includong the neighbours as i mostly can only do some work done at night inside my garage. 😅

Pan this air compressor is a beast. I've had mine for a little over a year with zero issues. For all viewers that are looking for a quality compressor to get the job done, this is it. They go on sale often at home depot.
You're definitely a handy guy: using car related cleaning stuff inside and outside the house; talking about connections for hoses and pressure washers; speakers and theaters sound setup and dampening inside garage; having a dream garage with shelfs and cabinets on the walls... list keeps going Pan. You're PanDaddy! Great video again. I liked the editing after you said home.. Home Depot. Not really trying to give them a shoutout but also had to tell your viewers the truth haha. All love man.
Thanks for watching! I’ll take the compliment of you thinking I’m handy. Perhaps I don’t give myself enough credit hehe. For me handy is being able to build a house from scratch somehow haha. Or do any form of construction work. Which I know nothing about.
I also laughed at the editing around home depot. I mean yeah, he got it from depot, but seeing as it's now in his garage.... he is technically getting it from home, right?
100' hose : learn from my mistake. Bought a like-new 100' hose, thinking it was a good deal. Long hoses are difficult to manage and store, of not on a reel. Lesson learned! 50' is plenty for the average weekend warrior. Merci Pan!
Ah thanks man! I appreciate the support. I spend four hours every day personally replying to RUclips comments so it’s nice that you guys appreciate the efforts. It does get overwhelming as you can imagine with 800,000 subscribers sending me thousands of messages daily, but I try my best to stay close to my audience. And you’re right. No other big detailing channel does this. 😁👍🏻
After researching air compressors and owning several for welding and sandblasting. Here's the downlow. I call it the rule of 5. SCFM is a measure of how much air the compressor pulls from the atmosphere. To know how much air flow is going to your tool, devide by 5. Based on that, you quickly see that each true CFM being delivered to your tool costs $500. You need to run a 3cfm tool. Expect to pay $1500 for the compressor that claims to have 14-16 scfm. Most everything else ( PSI, horsepower, duty cycle, oil less, tank size ect. ) Only affects longevity of the compressor.
I may have missed it in the video, but a very important detail is the duty cycle of this unit. Rigid recommends 5 minutes of run time followed by 5 minutes off for a 50% duty cycle. It can obviously run much longer, but it will shorten the life if you ignore the duty cycle. I have a Tornador at home and this seems like an excellent unit to buy for my occasional use, as well as tire pressures, air gun, or in general compressed air through a nozzle to clean something out, but for the professionals they should keep duty cycle in mind. I'm guessing they have their Tornadors running for much more than 5 minutes at a time without giving the compressor a break.
Fantastic point I will make sure to do one section a seat or a seat a floor section then vacuum and rotate to keep the run time lower. Thanks for the head up
I have cooked all the other harbor freight pancake compressors in my van but got the most life out of the craftsman but the price jumped from $99 to $160 so I purchased the 6 gallon rigid pancake and honestly cooked it in a week or two in the back of my van. Preformed proper break in on all the units and release pressure. Going to try this unit buying tonight. Hope this one holds up.
This is an excellent point. This is one reason why I had to upgrade. Sadly I bought a quiet 20 gallon compressor with low PSI and SCFM rating. I will be buying a different one again because once you get addicted to the tornador, 5 mins of continuous use is not enough lol
Thanks Pan. I always thought Air compressor setting up and working with it is too cumbersome and all available videos were complicated it. This is simple and spot on.
Wish I was on your channel a year ago and you did this review lol. I bought a 4 gal. Rigid pancake compressor back then which I am happy with. But I do like the style of yours.
Nice video Pan and I ran an air compressor for about 15 years of similar size. I am looking forward to watching you use the air compressor as you always have useful tips and tricks. Thank you for the video.
@@PanTheOrganizer Pan I used Hitachi when I bought it new. Back then I used it for installing hardwood floors and the compressor held up well. The regulator finally went out last year. I did realize to detail professionally an air compressor with a much larger tank is required because a tornador will quickly empty a four gallon tank.
Pan, thank you so much sir! I recently purchased that air compressor, but had no idea what hose/ quick connect I would need. I’m sure the answer was quite easy to find, but after searching a ton on RUclips all I could find was reviews on the compressor / tornador, so to have the specs of what I actually need was awesome! Thanks again!
Sir, According to the responses on the Home Depot page for this item, all compressors purchased after FEB 2022 of this model come with Free Parts and Service for Life with Registration. That is a huge advantage. I am replacing Ridgid batteries and tools purchased from 2004 because of their lifetime warranty coverage.

Great video!! I was trying to find a video like this that included what other items that you needed to use the compressor. Do you have any recommendations on other pieces needed to inflate car tires and also air guns to blow things out. Thank you.
Yes Pan, what a cool review on this little compressor I love those awesome features you pointed out, it's makes detailing so much enjoying, struggling with hoses that are kinked or waiting a long time for the compressor to fill. Thanks Pan keep them coming💫👍🏻
Hey Pan, great video!! Can you do a video on chrome wheels polishing/maintenance? I have OEM chrome wheels on my 2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn and I’m not sure what products to use to polish them.
I can’t speak for the Tornador but the TRC Ultra Air Blaster runs for about 11 seconds at 90 PSI before the compressor kicks on. The tool can continue to be used while the compressor runs but the UAB consumes air much faster than the compressor can put it back in. In total, I can run the UAB for 48 seconds before the tank pressure drops below 90 PSI.
@@HalifaxTintPlus Yes the small 5 gallon one. It has pretty good pressure. It will run out of maximum pressure pretty quickly though if it's in constant use. One of the downsides of it only behind 5 gallons. It's a really nice small compact unit though.
That’s the compressor I use. I got it because it was the only compressor near the scfm that Tornador recommends at the price point. Doesn’t have the longest run time but I can still run tools while it runs.
@@detailspots you should be able to get decent run time without waiting. You would have no problems doing a whole door or so at a time. Probably couldn’t go around the whole car at one time though.

For drying, when would you use compressed air versus a blower? Have you considered doing a comparison of handheld and wall mounted blower? When each is appropriate. Basic leaf blower to higher end. As always, appreciate your thorough, honest reviews.
Is there any other reason why you used a 3/8 inch hose other than the steady pressure? Is the pressure better than the other sizes they offer? Thank you
If you plan on using this occasionally as a weekend warrior, no problems. If you plan on using it daily for heavy duty professional detailing, I would get a more professional bigger compressor which is so more expensive.
Pan if you had to choose one of the other to put air in your tires and blow out your car, which one would it be RIDGID 4.5 compressor/ FIAC wallair compressor
Hi Pan, even though, as a weekend warrior, I don’t need a big compressor, your video was still interesting to watch. Could you do a video on home water filtering systems, (If you haven’t done a video already!)? I don’t mean the all-singing and dancing systems which filter all the water as it comes into the house, I mean the stand-alone small tank systems where you buy the resin separately and which connect to your hose or pressure washer and is only used for the final rinse. Thanks
Thank you so much Panjust barley subscribe to your channel keep it up!🔥🔥🫵I been looking at a lot of different ones as a detailer this will be my first time buying air compressors with a tornador and with all those attachments makes it a lot easier!🤙

Hey, Pan! Great video. I found the 6 gallon pancake version Rigid for about a 1/3 of the price. If I'm ok only getting 150 max psi instead of 200, should I give the pancake a whirl? Or are there some other major differences I'm overlooking? Thank you
Great content Pan, with water always accumulating in the tanks under pressure would you recommend a water and filter discharge adapter before it gets to your tools you use.
hey i recently bought this air compressor and i cannot seem to get it to run at a constant 90psi on my tornador… i’ve checked to make sure all the valves are closed and still no luck, i dont use teflon tape on my quick connects. do you think this could be the issue?
Great video Pan! Please do a video on the new Tornador MAX. That looks so interesting and love the swivel connection on it! Just curious if that connection will fit a Euro Flow connection that I bought from OG. Its a Prevost S1 Euro connection. Will industrial fit Euro? If not, can the swivel on the Tornador Max be made with a Euro connection? I bought into Matts philosophy from OG with more air flow with Euro and now it seems nothing fits Euro.
No it won’t fit the Euro high flow connections. It’s a standard 1/4 inch quick connect on the Tornador Max. You will see a video soon on Tornador tools on my channel. Stay tuned! I have the Euro high flow connectors on my FIAC WallAir air compressor which I reviewed here: ruclips.net/video/ocwoIr5Ysrs/видео.html
I’ve got another question for you, sir. I use the compressor today. I’m a mobile detailer by the way I turned it on. I let the tank get full. I put it on 90 psi because I use a tornador but when I’m using it, the psi goes down also the tank the pressure that holds and it goes up and down. What do I do? Is it broken or am I not doing it right please and thank you. I love your videos by the way, you’re an inspiration.
Do a comparison with the California air compressor or another compressor that’s kinda equal to the ridgid. My Ridgid just went out yesterday in the middle of a job. It lasted about a year 1/2.
So I bought this same air compressor and attached a 3/8 inch Vevor hose reel to it. I attach the Tornador blower set at 90psi and it constantly needs to turn on to fill the tank. What do you think I am doing wrong? Any advice anyone?
This is normal with this type of air compressor. If you aren't spending thousands of dollars on huge air compressor, smaller ones will torn on to maintain pressure especially with tools like the Tornador. You'd need a compressor costing several thousands with way more power and a huge tank that takes a lot of space to have something that almost never turns on. You can't have it all for under $500 unfortunately. That's assuming you are also operating the Ridgid correctly. Meaning setting the desired pressure knob, locking it in at 90 psi, etc. As per the instructions.

Hey Pan, I got this compressor as a gift and plan to use it with detailing. I don't have a hose just yet. I noticed you use a ⅜" hose but Ridgid one in the description is ¼" will I still get optimal air flow for tools like the Tornador?

Detailer here out of California hoping to get some help! Currently have this air compressor and have an air hose reel and tornador and love how it performs! My question is, i am considering getting a another air hose reel and tornador so my employee can use one at the same time as me. Will they still both perform well or what do you guys think?!
Hey Pan…. I love your content. But when are you going to come out with your own products? I know some company has tried to get your name on the products. I will be your first company if you do!!😎😎
Would there be any harm using air compressor like this one be used to blow out excess water left on the grill, mirrors and wheels after towel drying? I am considering this over a handheld dryer to increase versatility.
For the exterior, a handheld dryer is a better option. Using the air compressor is more for the interior, where you'd combine it with tools from Tornador. See my video: ruclips.net/video/UPjFPdaAEj0/видео.html
Love your videos man! I’m about to start my detailing business very soon and I appreciate some helpful videos I find when I need some assurance on certain things, I wanted to ask what do you think about the 6 gallon rigid air compressor instead of the 4.5 since it’s $200 cheaper
The 6 gallon version wouldn't be a good choice for detailing in my opinion, as the Ridgid 6 gallon pancake version only outputs 2.6 SCFM at 90 psi, compared to the more expensive 4.5 gal unit which has an air delivery of 5.1 SCFM at 90 psi which is needed for higher requirements of tools like the Tornador. SCFM (not the regular CFM rating) is key when selecting an air compressor, and you want at least 5 SCFM at 90 psi.
Highly appreciate the feedback!!! Is that the only air compressor you’d recommend for the tornador? If so I trust your word for it and I’ll get the rigid 4.5
I don’t blow dry my car using an air compressor, as I have car dryers for that task. But if you were to use a tool, set it to what ever max pressure it recommends.
Hehehe I'm sorry but I wasn't aware of your channel. If you hold the trigger of a Tornador, does the PSI drop instantly? Just like it drops away from 90psi. Am I the only one experiencing this? So the output gauge will read 50 psi after like 10 seconds. Is that normal?
@@PanTheOrganizer I’m using the California Air tools 4620AC. Rated at 90psi 5.3 cfm. I hold the trigger on the tornador and it drops pretty quickly. Holds at 50 which I guess is fine but I thought it would hold that psi longer
Unfortunately, I can’t give you any advice as I don’t know that brand. Perhaps reach out to the company and see what they say? They are likely to be the best to be able to help you troubleshoot.
I hear great things about this. I'm currently using a Goodyear 8 gallon. Does this 4.5 gallon fill up quickly? I feel like in detailing we use alot of air sometimes. I have felt like I'd love to get a 20 gallon because of this. But I'm interested in a minimal set up.
It will turn on for sure while you are using power hungry tools continuously for sure. There are limits to what 4.5 GAL will do. It’s always a compromise of size vs performance. If you have the budget and space for a bigger air compressor, by all means go for bigger. Welcome to my channel. Hi Pan, thank you for this review!! I am looking for a compact air compressor ... this might be it ... one question though ... is it strong enough for an impact wrench? I need something that is for tornado and other tools as well as for the impact wrench ... thank you!
I don’t use impact wrenches but from my quick research it seems most impact wrenches require approximately 5 CFM @ 90 psi and this air compressor can handle that no problem. So my guess is you should be fine. But double check your impact wrenche’s requirements to make sure.
Hello Pan, when running a Tornador Max, should the air compressor have an air filter, an air dryer and an oil filter? Or are those more needed if someone wants to run pneumatic impact wrenches, air sanders, etc.? Thank you sir!
Question: If I have a washed and dried black car in garage and a few days later I want to drive it but it has a thin layer of dust on paint. Would this be a better tool than a leaf blower to lift dust off car before wiping with quick detail/polish wipe?
Using a leaf blower on dry dust won't do much. The best way is to wash the car. If you don't want to spend the time washing it, just spray the vehicle with a rinseless wash and then gently wipe with a microfiber drying towel.

Hello Pat, I urgently need to apply something to my silver car, the paint is changing tone, I purchased new so no accidents, but who knows what could happened when the car was manufactured and painted, it sits outside on the hot South Texas sun 100% of the time, what product can I use to reduce UV damage to my car paint?? Thank you Sir
Any paint protection will help. Wax, sealant or ceramic coating. Your pick. Watch a video where I talk about the differences between protection types here: ruclips.net/video/4ejfPHan3k4/видео.html But a brand new car shouldn’t see it’s paint color start to change that quickly. Perhaps there was a quality control issue from the factory. You should go to your dealership and have them check it out.

Great video Pan, I bought the rigid last week and finally tried it out with a tornador this weekend. However I’m not sure if I’m using properly. When I regulate and lock in the output gauge and it refills it changes to a different number either higher or lower than what I set it to. Is this normal? Anyone that can help? I’m not sure if it’s user error as this is my first experience with a compressor and tornador gun.
Hard to say as I don’t see what you are doing. One thing I remember is follow the instructions in the manual to a T as it can be complex to operate an air compressor the first time with a new unit.
I followed the instructions on the manual. When I used it on the weekend, I let the tank fill up. I set the output regulator to 90 PSI and locked it in place, then began using the tornador. The compressor would then refill as normal, but once refilled, the output PSI went up to 100, or another time was at 75. @@PanTheOrganizer
thanks I was looking for which air compressor was better ridgid, California or from harbor F?? I have a small van and the 20-gallon van that I have takes up a lot of space.
Hello Pan. Is this compressor still working fine running your Tornadors? Just hoped to het an update on how the Ridgid was working for your Tornadors. I was planning to get a 29 gallon McGraw but if this is working fine for you, probably will go with the Ridgid instead.
For a deeper clean, Xpress. It also does leather. For a light clean, and especially on piano black gloss surfaces and also infotainment displays, Gyeon Interior Detailer is the one to get. Hence why I have many products in my arsenal. I pick what I prefer for a given surface or task.
I can’t speak for the Tornador, but for me the TRC Ultra Air Blaster runs for 48 seconds at 90 PSI before the tank pressure drops below 90, and that’s with the compressor turning on at its cut-in pressure of 155 PSI. The UAB drains air at about twice the rate (10 CFM) that the compressor is able to put air back in.
Yes it is not mentioned. I’m asking because I bought a 2500W generator with 1900W of running. The compressor is 120V at 14.5 amps which is about 1700W but it wasn’t specified what the starting wattage was

@@PanTheOrganizer thanks bro I appreciate your efforts......just came across this channel today trying to find more information about air Compressor
Pan this air compressor is a beast. I've had mine for a little over a year with zero issues. For all viewers that are looking for a quality compressor to get the job done, this is it. They go on sale often at home depot.
Thanks for sharing your experience Nick!
I've been waiting for 8 months. No sale yet.
@@akiralee1192 black Friday usually, I think fathers day as well which is around the corner
Merci Pan!
What ever length works for you 👍🏻
Pan, you keep outdoing yourself; excellent and timely review. You are a detailer’s best friend.
Thanks I really appreciate it!
Awesome video like always Sir Pan. BTW Pan is the only detail RUclipsr that actually responds to comments. Your the best!! 🚘
Great demo pan... ive been looking at this unit but know nothing about them.. thanks for making it simple for me
😁👍🏻
@@JacobSmith-yh1sz Did you end up buying it? If so, how is it holding up?
This is an excellent point. This is one reason why I had to upgrade. Sadly I bought a quiet 20 gallon compressor with low PSI and SCFM rating. I will be buying a different one again because once you get addicted to the tornador, 5 mins of continuous use is not enough lol
what do you recommend then ?@@Danny-xj5ts
Thanks Pan. I always thought Air compressor setting up and working with it is too cumbersome and all available videos were complicated it. This is simple and spot on.
Great to hear!
Wish I was on your channel a year ago and you did this review lol. I bought a 4 gal. Rigid pancake compressor back then which I am happy with. But I do like the style of yours.
Fantastic video. Tons of questions answered. Super valuable. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
We just purchased this for our mobile detailing / garage detailing setup! 🔥
Good choice!
Nice video Pan and I ran an air compressor for about 15 years of similar size. I am looking forward to watching you use the air compressor as you always have useful tips and tricks. Thank you for the video.
Thanks Neil. What brand and model air compressor were you using?
@@PanTheOrganizer Pan I used Hitachi when I bought it new. Back then I used it for installing hardwood floors and the compressor held up well. The regulator finally went out last year. I did realize to detail professionally an air compressor with a much larger tank is required because a tornador will quickly empty a four gallon tank.
Just picked this unit up with a basic air gun nozzle attachment. Worked amazing!
👍🏻
I've had good success with Ridgid products so far during my detailing career. Great review on a quality air compressor! These are full of value.
I agree! I also have a Ridgid vacuum and it’s a great machine for the price.
I have purchased one of these compressors this weekend . A bit of an upgrade from my small Craftsman unit. Thanks for the suggestion 👍

I just bought the Kobal 26 gallon quiet compressor for my detail shop, it's working out great for us.
👍🏻👍🏻
Sir, According to the responses on the Home Depot page for this item, all compressors purchased after FEB 2022 of this model come with Free Parts and Service for Life with Registration. That is a huge advantage. I am replacing Ridgid batteries and tools purchased from 2004 because of their lifetime warranty coverage.
If I turn on the Ridgid, then load it with air at home and take it with me for a mobile detail. Do I need electricity to run it?
Yes you need constant power.

great video pan! with this exact setup, how many minutes does the air last while using the tonador before the compressor needs to refill with air?
He should add it video !
Wow, that’s cool compressor pan , that’s small items don't need a large space , i will try this compressor 😍
Thanks for watching!
Looks like a great unit. I like that it has dual inputs. I have a small California Air Tools compressor that is really quite!
Hi D&D , r u talking about 5 gallons one ? Isn’t enough pressure ?
@@HalifaxTintPlus Yes the small 5 gallon one. It has pretty good pressure. It will run out of maximum pressure pretty quickly though if it's in constant use. One of the downsides of it only behind 5 gallons. It's a really nice small compact unit though.

That’s the compressor I use. I got it because it was the only compressor near the scfm that Tornador recommends at the price point. Doesn’t have the longest run time but I can still run tools while it runs.
Correct. Good bang for buck.
how long can u run this compressor with tornador tool and how long before it fully charged to be use again?
@@detailspots once you start going you really don’t have to stop for it to charge back up. Only takes maybe a minute or two to get fully pressurized.
@@ethanblan435 but can i use tornador max constantly, without waiting for tank to pressurized?

For drying, when would you use compressed air versus a blower? Have you considered doing a comparison of handheld and wall mounted blower? When each is appropriate. Basic leaf blower to higher end. As always, appreciate your thorough, honest reviews.
For drying an entire car, I prefer a car dryer or leaf blower, like in my video about car dryers here: ruclips.net/video/4up2Atg4ks0/видео.html
Is there any other reason why you used a 3/8 inch hose other than the steady pressure? Is the pressure better than the other sizes they offer? Thank you
Great video. Will this compressor keep up with the use of a tornador when cleaning a carpet or seat area?
It does but of course it will turn on more often compared to a behemoth big boi air compressor for obvious reasons.
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you! My concern would be burning out the compressor motor over time
If you plan on using this occasionally as a weekend warrior, no problems.
Thanks
I already did here: ruclips.net/video/IKNL1chAQXY/видео.html
is there a belt? Im debating between this and Dewalt.

Hey, Pan! Great video. I found the 6 gallon pancake version Rigid for about a 1/3 of the price. If I'm ok only getting 150 max psi instead of 200, should I give the pancake a whirl? Or are there some other major differences I'm overlooking? Thank you
just thinking the same thing. Did you try the pancake one? If so how was the usage time before cutting off? Thanks!
Great content Pan, with water always accumulating in the tanks under pressure would you recommend a water and filter discharge adapter before it gets to your tools you use.
What size of pressure washer hose and air hose would you recommend? Should it be 1/4” or 3/8”?
hey i recently bought this air compressor and i cannot seem to get it to run at a constant 90psi on my tornador… i’ve checked to make sure all the valves are closed and still no luck, i dont use teflon tape on my quick connects. do you think this could be the issue?
Did you try reaching out to Ridgid?
Hello how long do u let the vowels open to empty the tanks? Please and thank u
Once the unit is depressurized, you open those mini valves until you don't hear any hissing/air anymore. It takes only a few seconds.
@ thank u brother 🙏🏼
Thanks Pan!
When I drain the air with the bottom valve came out a lot water with dirt ( or something black ) its normal?
A bit of moisture is normal, but as far as water and dirt are concerned, I’m not an air compressor specialist, you’d have to ask Ridgid.
Hey Pan will you consider reviewing the Hyundai air compressors if you have a chance. Was wondering how they compare to models like the Rigid.

Hi, is it the size of the hose matter? 3/8 or 1/4 is better? Thanks
I will be your first company if you do!!😎😎
Perhaps one day! 😁
Hey pan, when are you doing your awards Video for 2022?
As per usual, meaning end of August or early September. This year will be amazing so stay tuned!
Hey Pan, awesome video as usual. Approximately how long before the air runs out and it turns on while using the tornador or air blower tip?
I don’t calculate that as it depends on your use and how trigger happy you are… but a few minutes. And it refills super fast.
Excellent video Pan!!! Quick question, what psi would you set for blowing out the car with a standard air gun?
I don’t blow dry my car using an air compressor, as I have car dryers for that task.
But if you were to use a tool, set it to what ever max pressure it recommends.
@@PanTheOrganizer I use a sidekick blaster for the exterior. I was talking about the interior carpets, seats, etc.
so nice.can it be use to spray paints like antirust
I don’t do spray painting so you would have to see if it meets the pressure requirements of your tool. Most likely yes.
Dang Pan! I can't even get a shout out for covering it first? Sheesh ;)

Hello so I may have bought the wrong air hose. I bought a 1/4 hose with 1/4 couplings. Is a 3/8 air hose better then????

What about generator which one you recommend to pair with this compressor or is it best to just use extension cord .

If you hold the trigger of a Tornador, does the PSI drop instantly? Just like it drops away from 90psi. Am I the only one experiencing this? So the output gauge will read 50 psi after like 10 seconds. Is that normal?
What air compressor are you using? You should be able to lock in a certain pressure like 90 psi, and the compressor works to maintain that pressure.
@@PanTheOrganizer does the Rigid stay at 90 indefinitely? Or does it drop psi at some point on the gauge?
I hear great things about this. I'm currently using a Goodyear 8 gallon. Does this 4.5 gallon fill up quickly? I feel like in detailing we use alot of air sometimes. I have felt like I'd love to get a 20 gallon because of this. But I'm interested in a minimal set up.
It will turn on for sure while you are using power hungry tools continuously for sure. There are limits to what 4.5 GAL will do. It’s always a compromise of size vs performance. If you have the budget and space for a bigger air compressor, by all means go for bigger.

Can you make a video about taking swirls out of carbon fibre hoods ?
Hi Pan, thank you for this review!! I am looking for a compact air compressor ... this might be it ... one question though ... is it strong enough for an impact wrench? I need something that is for tornado and other tools as well as for the impact wrench ... thank you!
I don’t use impact wrenches but from my quick research it seems most impact wrenches require approximately 5 CFM @ 90 psi and this air compressor can handle that no problem. So my guess is you should be fine.
But double check your impact wrenche’s requirements to make sure.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you, Pan! 🙂
Hello Pan, when running a Tornador Max, should the air compressor have an air filter, an air dryer and an oil filter? Or are those more needed if someone wants to run pneumatic impact wrenches, air sanders, etc.? Thank you sir!
Not needed for Tornador tools.
Great video 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Good to know! :)
Hi!
He comprado este Ridgid pero tengo una duda ya que lo uso con tornador y el Ridgid se enciende constantemente ¿es normal?
What is the duty cycle for this compressor ?
Hello Pat, I urgently need to apply something to my silver car, the paint is changing tone, I purchased new so no accidents, but who knows what could happened when the car was manufactured and painted, it sits outside on the hot South Texas sun 100% of the time, what product can I use to reduce UV damage to my car paint?? Thank you Sir
Any paint protection will help. Wax, sealant or ceramic coating. Your pick.
Watch a video where I talk about the differences between protection types here: ruclips.net/video/4ejfPHan3k4/видео.html
But a brand new car shouldn’t see it’s paint color start to change that quickly. Perhaps there was a quality control issue from the factory. You should go to your dealership and have them check it out.
@@PanTheOrganizer WOW! I appreciate your fast response, subscribed!, is not a new car is 2015 but still should not change like is changing the hood, roof and trunk are getting "blueish" weird I have owned many silver cars over the years, this is the first time I see this, Thank you sir, I will try ceramic coating
My pleasure. How did you discover my channel by the way?

@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks! Yes I already notice that you have a lot of subscribers! The urgency to stop the silver paint changing color!! ??!! how and why is that happening no idea ... the way you explain everything is exceptional, for that reason you have so many followers, who would have thought right, I'm sure you didn't know you had this gift until started posting videos, again Thank you Sir!
I haven’t used the others. But if you do a RUclips search for compressors that mobile detailers like, this Ridgid often comes up.
Hello Pan. Is this compressor still working fine running your Tornadors? Just hoped to het an update on how the Ridgid was working for your Tornadors. I was planning to get a 29 gallon McGraw but if this is working fine for you, probably will go with the Ridgid instead.
Yup it works fine for me. I don’t use it on a daily basis, but it’s always there when I need it.
I am from Australia, how can I get this, please help me
Can you do a review on the Tornador Z-011 foam gun
If I get enough viewer requests for it, I'll look into it for sure.
Hey Pan what interior cleaner is better p and s express or gyeon interior cleaner the one with the blue liquid
For a deeper clean, Xpress. It also does leather. For a light clean, and especially on piano black gloss surfaces and also infotainment displays, Gyeon Interior Detailer is the one to get.
Hence why I have many products in my arsenal. I pick what I prefer for a given surface or task.
Teflon goes on Clockwise but in Canada, it might be the opposite?
I never get an official answer on that. Some say clockwise, some say counterclockwise.
how long does the air last for at 90 psi with the tornador
I can’t speak for the Tornador, but for me the TRC Ultra Air Blaster runs for 48 seconds at 90 PSI before the tank pressure drops below 90, and that’s with the compressor turning on at its cut-in pressure of 155 PSI. The UAB drains air at about twice the rate (10 CFM) that the compressor is able to put air back in.
What’s the starting wattage for this compressor?
Did you check their website for the specifications?
Yes it is not mentioned. I’m asking because I bought a 2500W generator with 1900W of running. The compressor is 120V at 14.5 amps which is about 1700W but it wasn’t specified what the starting wattage was
